A/N: this is the last part to this final battle with team MRWBY and Salem. Once again this chapter will contain at least one character death so again I apologise if your favourite character or a character is killed off.

Previously...

And Michelle slowly got back to her feet as she scowled at Tyrion in pure anger as she said, "No...first we are gonna stop Salem, then we can mourn over the friends we have lost and while we're down here fighting for our lives General Ironwood is sitting back at camp so he can give out orders from the comfort of his tent!"

Before Michelle slowly walked towards Tyrion as her grey eyes glowed blue with her Maiden power as she pointed at him and screamed, "YOU..."

Now...

Michelle continued walking towards Tyrion and she had an ice ball in her hand before Ember stopped her as she said, "Michelle, if you kill him you will be no better than Salem, you showed me that revenge proves nothing and it won't bring Jaune back remember? I'll deal with Tyrion you and Ruby need to get to Salem now go!"

And Michelle clenched her fists and closed her eyes for a moment as she took a deep breath before she replied, "You're right Ember, but you better be right behind us alright?" and Ember smiled as she said,

"Of course, what kind of person do you take me for Michelle?"

So Michelle ran ahead with Ruby and the others as Weiss said to the others while they were running, "Where's Jaune? Wasn't he with you guys?" but Michelle tried to hold back some tears as they ran down the hallway and Weiss covered her mouth in shock as she said, "Oh god..." and Yang was holding back her own tears as she said,

"Poor vomit boy..."

Blake then said while running, "We...we can't let Jaune's sacrifice be in vain, all we can really do is just keep moving forward and stop Salem once and for all!" and the group went from room to room looking for Salem before they then came across another large room so they entered the room and they were greeted by some Grimm sabertooths as well as some Grimm hags and they all got ready to fight them.

Meanwhile...

Ember dragged her sword along the ground towards Tyrion as he smiled maniacally at her as he said, "You know our goddess will be very pleased that you brought the Winter Maiden right to her." And Ember gripped her sword tightly as she pointed it at him as she replied in anger,

"Shut up...Tyrion I should warn you that I'm not as kind or as soft as Michelle so I could easily cut you into ribbons if I wanted to."

Tyrion then laughed at Ember as he said, "Oh I am truly aware of that, it sure was a shame what happened to your brother and I am in deep mourning ha ha ha!" before Ember then thrust her sword into Tyrion's shoulder causing him to scream out in pain as she replied angrily,

"You don't have the right to mention Adam's name! You will never understand what he meant to me! I loved him as his sister!" before she added, "I should gut you like a fish! But unfortunately I have orders to capture you alive if able."

Before Tyrion then leaped up to his feet and tried to slash Ember with his wrist blades but Ember blocked them with her sword as her sword glowed red a little before kicked Tyrion in his gut causing him to stumble back a little and Tyrion charged at Ember again firing bullets from his wrists but Ember easily blocked them making her sword glow a little more before he then tried to swipe at her with his tail.

Ember was easily able to dodge out of the way before landing another kick into Tyrion's gut causing his Aura to glow and stumble back again and this frustrated Tyrion as he charged at Ember again and Ember side stepped him and slashed his back causing his Aura to glow again before Ember confidently said to Tyrion, "I'd give up if I were you Tyrion, you can't beat me and all that's going to happen is that sooner or later I am going to break your Aura."

Tyrion scowled at Ember as he replied in frustration, "You dare mock me woman! All I need is one good strike and you're as good as finished!" before he charged at Ember once more and Ember just shrugged her shoulders as she said,

"Well, I tried to warn you!"

As she used her semblance and slashed with her sword creating after images of herself which caused Tyrion to try and block the incoming attacks to little success as a few Embers strikes managed to get through causing his Aura to glow before he tried to strike her with his tail but Ember side stepped it and slashed it cutting through the metallic tail which caused Tyrion to cry out in pain as he scowled at her and screamed, "You bitch!"

But before Tyrion could have a chance to attack again Ember struck him in the head with the hilt of her sword knocking him out cold before she then took some handcuffs and cuffed Tyrion's hands together before sheathing her sword as she looked down at Tyrion and said to him, "Your lucky, your Aura isn't broken but at least you won't be waking up anytime soon!"

Ember then ran to try and catch up with the others as she thought to herself, "Now that Tyrion has been dealt with I should try and catch up with Michelle and the others, I hope Neo is doing ok as she chose to help the huntsman on the front lines."

Back to MRWBY and the others...

Michelle and her team were busy fighting off the Grimm in the large room they found and both Michelle and Ruby saved each other from a Grimm about to attack them before Michelle then fired a shot from her Gauntlets at a Grimm hag that was about to strike Yang as it collapsed to the floor and disappeared and Yang looked at Michelle and smiled as she said, "Thanks for the save Michelle!" and Michelle smiled back at Yang as she replied,

"You can thank me when this over, but you're welcome!"

Ruby and Nora then took care of the other Grimm hags and Sabertooths as they disappeared and the group was breathing a little heavy before Michelle looked around at the others as she said while trying to catch her breath, "How...how is everyone holding up?" and Nora looked back at Michelle and smiled as she replied while trying to catch her breath,

"My...My Aura is a little low but I should be ok to keep fighting."

Ren also stood there trying to catch his breath as he said, "Same here, my Aura is a little low but I should be good to keep fighting for now." And then Michelle looked at her girlfriend Ruby as she said to her,

"How about you Rubes? What's your Aura like?"

And Ruby tried to catch her breath as she replied to Michelle, "Oh umm my Aura is still ok Michelle, so I umm should still be ok to fight for now, we should keep moving as Salem has to be around here somewhere."

Michelle then smiled as she said to everyone, "Ok then, let's keep moving Salem has to be here somewhere but keep your guard up she could throw anything at us." Before the group then decided to carry on through the large room keeping an out for any more Grimm that might attack them.

Later...

Ember managed to rejoin the group in the large room as she said to the group, "Tyrion has been dealt with Michelle, he won't be bothering us anytime soon." And Michelle smiled at Ember as she replied,

"Good, at least that's one less problem we have to deal with."

Suddenly the group then heard a voice as it said, "I see you managed to find me, but you do know you cannot kill me!" and Michelle spun around and locked eyes with Salem and she tried to sound calm as she replied,

"Salem! We know you can't be killed, but we don't need to kill you because we just have to stop you!"

Salem then laughed slightly as she said, "Really child? Because I can sense your fear from here and your fear will only make the Grimm stronger!" before she then locked eyes with Ember as she added, "and you...such a shame about your brother, he was such a loyal follower."

And Ember scowled at Salem as she replied angrily, "You lie! Adam would never follow you Salem!" then Michelle got ready to fight and Ruby followed her girlfriend's lead as she readied Crescent rose before Michelle said to Ember and the others,

"We finish this...together!"

Then Michelle looked back at her girlfriend Ruby as she said to her, "What are your orders Ruby? You're the leader here." And Ruby smiled at her girlfriend as she replied,

"Oh umm when I give the signal, attack!"

Weiss then smiled and nodded her head as she said to Ruby, "Alright Ruby, we'll follow your lead." Before they all then slowly spread out trying to cover as much ground as possible as they readied their weapons before Ruby made a signal with her hand as she said,

"Everyone Attack!"

Following the signal Yang charged forward with Blake not too far behind her as Yang threw some punches at Salem but Salem easily dodged them before she threw a punch of her own which sent Yang flying across the room as she crashed through a table before Salem then threw a blast of magic from her hand at Blake which sent her flying across the room as her Aura glowed.

Weiss then tried to use a gravity glyph on Salem which worked for a few minutes before Salem turned her attention towards the former heiress and blasted her with magic knocking her across the room as her Aura glowed.

Seeing her friends getting hurt filled Michelle with determination to face her fear as she thought to herself, "Ok Michelle, you faced your fear once back in Atlas you can do it again now, you just have to focus on what's at stake" before she charged at Salem and used some of her Maiden power as she blasted some icicles at Salem as she said to her, "You're not the only one who can use magic Salem!"

And Salem smirked at Michelle seemingly unaffected by the icicles hitting her as she replied, "Dear child, you have no idea of the power you possess and you cannot possible hope to defeat me!" before Ruby then dashed toward Salem as she swung Crescent rose at her and landed a couple of good hits causing Salem to bleed a little before Salem connected with a palm strike to Ruby's chest knocking her flying across the large room crashing through another table.

After witnessing Ruby getting hurt Michelle went into a fit of rage as her grey eyes glowed blue as her Maiden power flowed through her body and the air in the room started to get colder as Michelle slowly walked towards Salem as she said, "I was gifted this power from the previous Winter Maiden and since that day I have learned a few things I can do with my power but you're right I don't know much about the power of the Maidens but one thing I do know for sure is...I will use this power to defeat you!"

Michelle then unleashed her Maiden power as she started to create an ice storm as a large beam of light burst through the roof of Salem's fortress and Salem could start to feel parts of her body freezing up but seeing the full extent of Michelle's power before she knew how to counter it but it did still shock her as to how quickly Michelle had mastered her gift.

Salem blasted a beam of magic from her hands towards Michelle who was floating in the air sending her crashing into a wall across the room and her purple Aura glowed as Salem stood there menacingly on the opposite side of the room and laughed as she said to Michelle, "Ozpin really thought a group of children could stop me? Ha I am the goddess this world needs!"

Beaten and bruised team MRWBY slowly dragged themselves back to their feet as Michelle said, "We need a different plan of attack, nothing we have done so far has worked and my Aura is dangerously close to being broken." And Ruby was using her crescent rose to help her stand as she said to the others,

"I have an idea that could work, but umm I need you guys to buy me some time."

Ember then smiled at Ruby as she readied her weapon again as she replied, "We'll buy you as much time as you need Ruby." And Ember and the others charged at Salem while Ruby began concentrating and Salem easily dodged their attacks as she said to them,

"You're attempts at trying to bring me down are pointless!"

And Michelle landed a blow to Salem's chest with an icy punch which caused Salem to stumble back a little as Michelle smiled and said to Salem, "We're not trying to bring you down Salem! We're stalling for time!" and Salem laughed as she replied,

"Stalling? What could you possibly be stalling for? Most of the huntsman you brought with you are dead!"

Ruby still had her eyes closed as she said to the others, "Ok guys, I umm I'm ready!" and Michelle and the others slowly started to move away from Salem leaving her confused before Michelle smiled at Ruby as she replied,

"Do it Ruby!"

Then Ruby suddenly opened her eyes as a blinding silver light filled the room and Salem looked shocked as she said, "What the-" before she cut off as she was petrified into stone and Ruby and the others couldn't quite believe what had happened as they took a few minutes standing there before Yang said in shock,

"I-is it over? Did we do it?"

And Michelle slowly walked forward toward the statue of Salem as she replied, "Maybe, but be careful for all we know this could be a trick." As Michelle reached the statue and tapped it a couple of times with her metallic right hand and waited a few minutes for any sort of reaction before she said to the others sounding a little unsure,

"I...I think it's over, I think we did it!"

Ember then let out a sigh of relief as she said, "I guess we should contact General Ironwood and tell him the mission was a success." And Weiss and the others nodded in agreement before Weiss took out her scroll to contact General Ironwood.

After the war...

Michelle and the others returned to the camp to report their mission to General Ironwood and as they stepped off the airship the atmosphere around the camp was full of unease and despair as well as the medical team tending to many wounded huntsman and huntresses before they finally entered General Ironwood's tent.

As they entered the tent General Ironwood smiled at them as he said to them, "Congratulations on your success of this mission, we'll make sure Salem and her followers you were able to capture find a nice home in Atlas and...we suffered some great losses today and we will mourn those we have lost, you are dismissed."

Michelle had finally had enough as she snapped at General Ironwood as she yelled at him, "EASY FOR YOU TO SAY! SOME OF US LOST FRIENDS! WHILE YOU WERE SITTING HERE BARKING ORDERS WHILE WE WERE BUSY FIGHTING FOR OUR LIVES OUT THERE! ALL WE ARE TO YOU ARE JUST MILITARY RESOURCES FOR YOU TO DEPLOY WHEREVER YOU SEE FIT!"

General Ironwood tried to sound calm as he replied, "I understand your concern Michelle, truly I do but sometimes victory comes with a price and like I said before we will mourn those we have lost and you don't know the sacrifices I have had to make to ensure our peoples safety!"

Filled with anger Michelle just stormed out of the tent and Ruby looked at the others before nervously looking at the ground as she said, "I umm I will try to talk to Michelle after she has cooled off a little." Before she exited the tent followed by her sister Yang before finally Blake and Weiss also left the tent leaving Ember inside the tent.

Ember was looking at the list of names of huntsman and huntresses that had been recorded as dead and as she looked down the list she saw one name among the rest that stood out to her "Neopolitan" and Ember tried to hold back some tears as she thought to herself, "No...this can't be." Before she eventually left the tent.

Later...

Ruby found Michelle sitting inside their tent as she slowly entered as she said, "Hey umm Michelle, do...do you want to talk? I umm I understand if you just want to be left alone." And she was about to leave when Michelle turned to her and replied with a smile on her face,

"Hey it's ok Ruby, you can talk to me as I don't feel as angry as I did earlier and...I'm sorry if I scared you with my temper."

So Ruby went and sat next to her girlfriend and wrapped her arms around her in a cuddle before she said, "You umm you didn't scare me with your temper as someone had to say something and to be honest...I'm glad it was you as my uncle told me you don't really like authority that much and I'm guessing it has something to do with your past?"

And Michelle let out a small sigh as she replied, "Yeah...I guess I should tell you the reason why I don't really like authority that much as it all stemmed from when I was wrestling because I used to have people who would tell me what to do and...it didn't bother me that much at first but then when I started to speak up about my booking...I got punished by being made to lose my matches, so then when I eventually became an authority figure a different wrestling company I liked it at first but then people that made up the board of directors started to doubt my ability to juggle my responsibility's out of the ring as well as being an in ring performer so they started threatening to take away my position and so since then...I have always had a disliking towards people in power."

Ruby sat there in awe before she said, "Wow, I guess now I can sort of see why you don't like General Ironwood that much and umm do you think you could teach me how to wrestle? W-when we are living on own somewhere that is."

Then Michelle smiled a little as she gave Ruby a kiss on her lips before she replied, "Of course Rubes, I would love to teach you how to wrestle when we are living in patch together."

Yang and Blake and Weiss then all stood by the entrance of Michelle and Ruby's tent and smiled at them before Weiss said to them, "We thought we might find you dolts here." And Michelle stood up and pulled Ruby up to her feet before they both walked over to give their team mates a hug before they broke the hug as Michelle said to them,

"So, what are you guys gonna do now?"

Before Yang was the first to speak as she replied with a smile on her face, "Well...I was gonna head to Menagerie with my girlfriend Blake as I...I was thinking of living there with her." Then Weiss smiled as she said,

"I'm gonna stay here in Atlas as...I have decided I'm going to take over my father's company, what are you and Ruby going to do now? Are you two still thinking about living in Patch?"

And Michelle smiled as she held Ruby's hand in her own as she replied, "Yeah me and Ruby are still thinking about living together in Patch as...it's quiet and it will be nice to settle down now that this war is over."

Nora and Ren then came over and gave Michelle and the others a hug before Nora said, "me and Ren heard what you guys were talking about and...me and Ren are thinking of heading to Mistral and settle down together and mourn our friends."

Qrow then walked over to the group with a smile on his face as he said, "You kids did one hell of a good job out there today and umm...I'm sorry about your friends you lost and from what I understand my niece and Michelle want to live in Patch together so...I managed pull some strings and got you guys some land not too far from Tai's place and there's an airship waiting to take you there if you want."

Michelle then smiled at Qrow before she gave him a hug as she replied, "Thank you so much Qrow, you didn't have to do that for me and Ruby but we are grateful that you did and me and Ruby will be at the airship soon we just want to say goodbye to our friends first." And Qrow ruffled Michelle's hair a little as he smiled and said,

"Sure, I understand kiddo, just let the pilot know when you and my niece are ready to leave."

Then Michelle turned to her team mates and smiled a little as she said, "we're gonna miss you guys as I guess this is goodbye." And Weiss smiled at Michelle as she gave her a hug as she replied,

"We will stay in contact with you Michelle you dolt, just because this war is over who said we didn't have to stay in contact with each other as friends and...we're going to miss you and Ruby too."

And Michelle giggled a little as she said, "I guess you're right about that Weiss, and...maybe you could come and visit us w-when you're not busy running the schnee dust company that is." Before Yang and Blake smiled as they replied,

"Of course we will come and visit and have some sort of team reunion with each other Michelle because we're a family and family always stick together."

Nora and Ren then also gave Michelle a hug before Nora said to Michelle, "Listen, me and Ren are gonna miss you too and we will also come and visit you guys when we have the chance because you and Ruby are some of our closest friends."

Ruby then came over to Michelle with her backpack as she said with a beaming smile on her face, "So umm Michelle, are you ready to go to Patch now?" and Michelle smiled as she gave Ruby a kiss on her lips as she replied,

"Yeah, I think I am ready to go to Patch now Rubes."

Before Michelle and Ruby then made their way over to the airship and climbed on board after telling the pilot they were ready to leave before waving goodbye to their friends as the airship took off towards Patch.

In patch...

Once the airship had landed in patch Michelle and Ruby stepped off and walked down a path together holding hands with each other when they were stopped by a little girl who looked about the age of three as she said to them, "Umm excuse me misses, I umm heard that you brought peace back by defeating Salem so umm can I have your autograph?"

And Michelle crouched down and smiled at the little girl as she replied, "Of course, I have a feeling me and Ruby are going to get a lot of this because of what we did." Before she signed a picture of her and Ruby together before handing it to the little girl and the little girl smiled as she said,

"Thank you so much miss."

Ruby then looked around to see if she could spot the little girl's parents before she said to the little girl, "Do you know where your parents are? They're probably worried sick about you." And the little girl suddenly burst into tears as she replied,

"M-my mommy and daddy told me they were going on a mission a-and they haven't come home yet..."

Michelle gave the crying girl a hug as she said, "It's ok, would you like to stay with us? And do you have a name?" and the little girl sniffled a little as she nodded her head as she replied,

"Y-yes I would like to stay with you please miss, a-and my name is Tina."

Then Ruby smiled as she said to Tina, "Ok then Tina, umm you can come with us as we were just about to head to our new home together." And Michelle held out her hand and Tina took it as they all continued walking down the path together.

Later...

Michelle and Ruby stopped outside a little hut with Tina and Ruby took a deep breath as she went to knock on the door before the door suddenly flew open as Tai yang xiaolong stood there with a smile on his face and gave Ruby a hug as he said to her, "It's good to see you again Ruby, your uncle told me you were coming to Patch with your girlfriend."

Before he then looked at Michelle standing next to a little girl as he added, "Although he didn't mention anything about you guys having a plus one." And Ruby smiled at her dad as she replied,

"Dad, this is Tina me and Michelle kinda bumped into her on our way to our house that uncle Qrow said wasn't too far from you."

And Tai smiled back at Ruby as he said, "Well, I'm just glad you made it home safe and sound and in one piece but...they have only just started construction on your house and they said it may take a few months to finish so why don't you guys stay here for the time being?"

Michelle then smiled as she walked towards Tai with Tina as she replied, "Me and Ruby would be grateful for you to have us while we wait for house to be finished Tai." And Tai smiled as he said,

"Well why don't you guys come in and sit down for a bit, I'll put the kettle on."

Before walking inside and Ruby followed her dad which was then finally followed by Michelle and Tina as they walked inside the hut and closed the door behind them.
