Hello everyone,
It's been quite some time since this story ended. I'm here to inform you all that I'll be rewriting this fanfic, well, it's more like a reboot to be exact.
I came to this realization after I re read my fanfic from start to finish in one sitting.
When I first started this fanfic, I had a solid concept, but I would write chapters on a whim, every day I would wake up and start typing, without having any outline or what so ever. Because of which, there were several inconsistencies in characterization, like Izuku's character which first seemed like a lecherous bastard, later changed to self-deprecating loner. The other problems being that this fanfic in the end turned out to be Izuku- Momo's story than Izuku and Bakugo's story, which would show the contrasting point of views of Izuku and Bakugo on Heroism. Some where along the middle, Bakugo took backseat and Momo became more prominent to the story than him. after that I just focused on Bakugo whenever it's convenient.
Also, apart from Izuku, only Uraraka got some sort of character development along the course of the story, the rest of them had some but limited to one chapter only, heck some of them didn't have any, like Momo who didn't have any characterization out of loving and comforting Izuku, when he needed.
I initially thought of developing Izuku, Bakugo, Todoroki, Momo and Uraraka over the course of the story, I mean stretching out their character development throughout the plot. But the end result varied drastically.
Now that I have finished the fic and had some sort of outline, and have all the time I need, I thought why not rewrite it with better characterization and well…. overall a better version.
I want this fic to be complete in the sense, to have no mistakes and to be perfect standalone piece of literature for entertainment.
As for the sequel, I will change it to be a spin off/sequel, which more of like its own story of sorts.
