"she doesn't know but it was stage three and while the doctors think they got it all they can't be certain that it won't come back, she can't see out of one eye and she's high risk for losing her sight completely, just give her this one" says Ryder

"hey Sarah, can I talk to you for a minute" says Abby
"ya sure" says Sarah as she stumbles and walks into everything
"why didn't you tell me you had brain cancer, or that you can only see out of one eye now" says Abby
"my left eye had been blurry for four years, Ryder finally said let's go take a trip to the Hospital, I didn't think you'd have believed me, the doctors had to do three scans because they didn't believe their own equipment, they said it had to be wrong, that I was too young for that kind of thing, before the surgery the doctors told me I had maybe a year left, ten maximum after the surgery, I'd been living with cancer for four years and had gotten used to the idea that I'd never be able to see clearly out of my left eye and now because they removed the tumor I can only see out of my right eye, my left eye can still move, I know because I can feel it, the doctors told me it hadn't gotten to the eye yet and because they removed it my left eye is fine, I don't see how a useless eye is fine, do you have the ring" says Sarah
"ya, right here, why didn't your parents do anything about it" says Abby
"they're doctors too, I told my nanny about my eye and she tried to tell them for two years that something was wrong with my eye but they said that it was impossible, that I was too young for anything like that, my nanny quit last year and only then did my parents realize how bad my eye was, they thought it was only an eye problem so I saw eye doctor after eye doctor, none could find a problem with the eye, but my grandparents both had cancer and so did my mom when she was little, I don't see how they didn't think cancer was possible" says Sarah as Abigail hands the ring box to Sarah
