It has been a few months now and the drought was finally over. I got rid of my depression after the drought and I am back to my normal self. My friends and my family are happy to see me out of my room and active again.

I, Sarah, Alma, and Nani are busy saddling up our horses and talking to each other. "this is exciting, Nani gets to go on her first spring tour today" Sarah said. "cool" Alma said. "I can't wait to go and see all the wildlife in the meadows" Nani said.

"Yeah, me too I am excited for you" I said. just then Sarah's phone rang. Sarah picked up her phone. "hello?" Sarah said. "Molly where are you?" Sarah said. "right behind you" Molly said as she emerged from the tack room.

we all laughed. "Woah, new cell phone. congrats" Nani said. "thanks. I was finally able to save up my allowance money so I can get,

my own cell phone. my parents decided that I was mature enough to have my own cell phone. but really I think that they were really,

tired of me borrowing their phone all the time" Molly said. just then Molly's phone rang. Aunt Chloe and Aunt Zoey didn't like the sound of the ring tone.

after Molly was finished her call, Aunt Chloe and Aunt Zoey walked up to her. "you need better ring tone" Aunt Chloe said.

she then took the phone from Molly and was looking for ringtones that Molly could use. I then saw my nephew Simba, Nala, and Sarabi,

walking up to us. "hey guys what are you all up to?" Simba said. "were going to take Nani on her very first spring tour" Alma said.

"that's cool, sounds exiting" Sarabi said. Alma then looked at Aunt Chloe, Aunt Zoey, and Molly who were looking at Molly's new phone.

"how about this one?" Aunt Zoey said as she played a ring tone. "no way, that's not my style" Molly said. they then picked another ring tone.

"that one! it sounds just like the Kentucky derby!" Molly said happily. Aunt Chloe then set Molly's ringtone to the one she likes.

"Hello, picnic, spring tour" Alma said impatiently as the girls were glued to the phone. "what's going on?" Nala asked.

"Molly just got a new cell phone. looks like my Aunts and Molly are already addicted to it" I said with a sigh. "you have a phone too,

don't you Aunt Lana?" Simba said. "yeah. I have the iPhone 8" I said. "what kind does Molly have?" Simba said.

"I'm not sure" I said. "let's go get ready for our trail ride now" Sarah said. "okay" Alma said. "do you guys wanna come with us?" I asked Simba, Nala, and Sarabi. "sure we would love to join you" Sarabi said. "okay cool" I said. I then looked at Sarah.

"I will be back, I need to tell Scar where I am going before I get in trouble" I said. "okay, we will wait for you" Sarah said. "thanks Sarah" I said. I then went into the house and saw my husband Scar sitting in the living room.

"Scar?" I said nervously as I approached him. Scar looked annoyed when he saw me. "what do you want Lana?!" Scar said. "well I just came to tell you that...I'm going on a trail ride with my friends for Nani's spring tour" I said. Scar did not look happy with me.

"And you didn't ask me if it was okay first?!" Scar yelled angrily. "I'm sorry Scar, I just thought I had to tell you before I went anywhere" I said.

"but your supposed to ask me first, you know the rules Lana!" Scar shouted. then he sighed. "I will let this one off since I wasn't,

specific with that rule" Scar said. "okay" I said. "but from now on, your supposed to ask me before you go anywhere got it?" Scar said.

"yes, Scar" I said. "good, now get out" Scar said. I did as he said and left the living room. when I met up with my friends,

we all left for the spring tour. Molly and my Aunts were running behind so they told us that they would catch up to us.

Sarah told them where they would be so they know where to look for us. as we were walking on the trail Sarabi noticed that,

a deer was learning how to stand up for the first time. "guys look" Sarabi whispered. we got off our horses. "fallow me" Sarabi whispered.

we fallowed Sarabi and hid behind some bushes. "aww" Nani said. "shh" Sarah said gently. we were enjoying looking at the deer.

sadly it ended when we heard our phones ring. we were shocked to hear Aunt Zoey, Aunt Chloe, and Molly who were talking on the phone.

"hi, guys what are you doing?" Molly said. "we were watching a deer stand up for the first time" I said annoyed.

"oh cool, where is it?" Molly said. "too late now" Sarah said. "oh okay, we will meet you guys for lunch" Aunt Chloe said. "okay" Sarah said. when the call was over Sarah said, "I'm turning my phone down really low" Sarah said.

"good idea" Alma said. "me too" Nani said. "I will turn my phone off too" I said. we then all turned our phones off so we can enjoy nature. "lets go find a spot for lunch now" Nala said. "good idea, I'm getting hungry" Nani said. "same here" I said.

when we found s spot to eat lunch we all sat down and started eating our lunch. as we were eating, we noticed Molly on her cell phone. I sighed. "don't worry Lana, I'm sure Molly hasn't forgotten about you" Sarabi said comforting me.

"I know, It's not that it's just..." I paused not knowing what to say. "she's being really rude" Alma said. "remember when we all got our first cell phones" Sarah said.

"oh yeah, taking calls in movies and restaurants" Nani said. "and loud annoying ringtones" Alma said. "she has got it bad" I said.

"I agree" Simba said. "we should talk to her" Simba said. "yeah good idea" Nala said. "I will come with too" Sarah said.

"okay" Nala said. "wish us luck" Sarah said. they then went over to talk to Molly. I stayed with Nani, Alma, and Sarabi.

I had an itch around my neck where my shock collar was so I scratched it, carful not to touch the collar. "are you okay Lana?" Sarabi said.

"yeah I am okay, I just have a scratch" I said. "careful though" Sarabi said. "yeah I know, I don't want to get shocked" I said.

after a few minutes Sarah, Simba, and Nala walked up to us. "any luck?" Nani said. Sarah sighed. "two days max,

and we will have the old Molly back" Sarah said. "hopefully" I said. "well wanna get going?" Nala said. "sure" Alma said.

we packed up our stuff and continued our trail ride. after our trail ride it was sunset so we all put our horses in the stalls and unsaddled them. after we unsaddled them we put warm blankets on them so our horses won't get cold tonight.

Molly was as usual on her phone 24/7 talking to her friends. Calypso was sad that Molly was ignoring her. I felt bad for Calypso. Calypso was also freezing. "umm Molly?" I said. "not now Lana I am busy" Molly said. I got angry.

"MOLLY!" I yelled trying to get her attention. "I said not now Lana, can't you see I am on the phone?!" Molly snapped. Molly continued talking on the phone completely ignoring both me and Calypso. "oh no, I am gonna be late for my bus!" Molly cried.

Molly then walked out of the barn. "night Calypso" Molly said before she left. I looked at Calypso. I noticed that,

Molly forgot Calypso's blanket causing Calypso to freeze in her stall.
