The previous chapter was the beginning of the endgame. This chapter is the end of the endgame. I really hope you're ready.

Enjoy.

I'd like to thank SuperSmasher123, Jude, and Shade552 for the most recent reviews.

To SuperSmasher123: You're welcome, I guess. Oh, and as for what's inside William's machine, I think I may have goofed on describing the moment, considering how you responded to it.

To Shade552: Well, what you said about William/Springtrap is true, but it's a debate on whether verbal abuse or physical abuse is worse, especially when it comes from his own family. Also, about that "legend who tells stories to knock out enemies," are we talking about Mr. Hippo? As for Fredbear, I mean Springtrap is still his father. What else is he gonna call him?

Back at the graveyard, the battle between Faztopia's forces and the Nightmare Animatronics continue to rage on. With the exception of the Toy Animatronics, Faztopia's animatronics have been holding their own. It's only because of Dreadbear and the PlushBabies that the Nightmare Realm's army continue to endure. Dreadbear is too powerful, and the PlushBabies But then Nightmare Bonnie came up with a plan that turns the tide of the battle just a little bit. To swap opponents. Give their enemies a less predictable challenge that betrays their expectations.

"Up for changing dance partners, everyone?" Nightmare Bonnie suggested.

"A sound plan," Nightmare Freddy agreed.

Nightmare Bonnie switches to Funtime Foxy and immediately gives him a hard time. The nightmarish bunny swings his claws left and right ferociously and quickly, giving Funtime Foxy no time to react. Nightmare Bonnie slashes the white-and-pink fox five times, scratching his outer shell very badly. Nightmare Bonnie then snaps his teeth hard, damaging Funtime Foxy with a large flicker of nightmare magic. Nightmare Bonnie jumps up, spins in the air, and lands a deadly claw attack, knocking down the Funtime fox.

"That was fun," Nightmare Bonnie smiled.

Nightmare Freddy and Nightmare Foxy decide to fight Funtime Freddy, Bon-Bon, and Music Man. Nightmare Foxy uses his hook to slice Music Man's right arm off, preventing him from using one of his cymbals.

"My arm! No!" Music Man cried. "How will I ever return to the stage now?"

Nightmare Freddy sends his Freddles forward and they crowd Funtime Freddy and Music Man, pounding them and scratching them non-stop. One Freddle even knocked Bon-Bon off of Funtime Freddy's arm. Even Music Man couldn't handle the numbers.

"Bon-Bon... ow! Ow! Go get 'em," Funtime Freddy tried to give an order.

"Too many," said Bon-Bon.

Nightmare Chica switches to Balloon Boy and JJ. The two just throw balloons at her, but Nightmare Chica creates a pizza-shaped projectile with her cupcake and detonates it at the two balloon throwers, leaving behind the smell of rotten pizza. Nightmare Chica then uses a "waterhose" attack (with black waters, instead of blue) and knocks down the balloon throwers.

"X.O.R., can't you attack or something?" Balloon Boy complained.

El Chip desperately attempts to use his mandolin to whack Jack-O-Chica, only to get his mandolin bit in half by the Nightmare Cupcake. Jack-O-Chica throws a Jack-O-Bomb at El Chip. El Chip ducks and avoids it, but his hat catches on fire. He runs around in panic looking for something to extinguish the fire from his hat (while still wearing it on his head).

"Molten... Freddy... repairing... themselves," X.O.R. alerted.

Molten Freddy's face plates piece themselves back together to recreate his face. That face reattaches itself to the twisty pile of wires he calls a body. Molten Freddy sees Rockstar Freddy engaging in a mic-to-claw duel with Nightmare Balloon Boy. Molten Freddy sneaks up behind Rockstar Freddy and fires his "unscrew" beam from his mouth, causing Rockstar Freddy's left eye to pop out as he drops on his face.

"I'm go-go-gonna need more than f-f-five Faz Tokens for a new eye-eye-eye," Rockstar Freddy complained as his voice glitched.

Nightmare Mangle and RXQ double-team Funtime Chica. Funtime Chica tries giving herself a power boost and applying that boost to her explosive cupcakes, which work to keep her two opponents away from her. RXQ's ability to move around like an actual shadow allows him to sneak-attack Funtime Chica, shoving her from the back towards his fighting partner. Nightmare Mangle jumps forward and bites Funtime Chica on the head, leaving behind tiny dents and a headache.

"What is this... 1987?" Funtime Chica babbled from the headache as she fainted.

"Ah, good times," RXQ remembered.

Jack-O-Bonnie takes on both Bonnie and Chica. Jack-O-Bonnie is just summoning and throwing Jack-O-Bombs at a rate that prevents Bonnie and Chica from countering. One Jack-O-Bomb even hits Chica. Panicked, Bonnie quickly casts a musical spell that heals Chica and damages Jack-O-Bonnie. Chica's Cupcake hops off its plate to attack, but one Jack-O-Bomb sends the Cupcake flying back to Chica. Jack-O-Bonnie throws a fiery blade at Bonnie, who tries to whack it away with his guitar. It failed and Bonnie gets blasted at Candy Cadet.

"Was it imaginary or haunted?" Candy Cadet said mysteriously.

"What are you going on about?" asked Bonnie.

Majority of the PlushBabies are ordered to attack Golden Freddy, Shadow Freddy, and Lefty. It seems like Nightmarionne ordered for 100 or more to be brought to the battlefield, because no matter how much they destroy, more keep coming. Golden Freddy keeps turning them to stone so Shadow Freddy's unscrewing shadow beam and Lefty's eye blasts can destroy them easily, yet more PlushBabies come out of the ground like the undead. One Scrap PlushBaby surfaced next to Golden Freddy and grabs onto her arm with its claw. Teleporting couldn't shake it off her, so she teleported to Trash and the Gang.

"No. 1 Crate! A little help here," Golden Freddy ordered.

No. 1 Crate actually gets up close and whacks the Scrap PlushBaby with a spinning glove attack, knocking it off Golden Freddy.

"No need to thank me," No. 1 Crate whispered.

"I would if we weren't still here," said Golden Freddy.

Dreadbear is lured towards the Toy Animatronics. It's not that Nightmare Mangle had any problems with them, but Nightmare Bonnie thought the Toys could use an even greater challenge. Dredbear's literal ground-shaking roars and relentless claw attacks make it even harder for the Toys to shine. Dredbear feels nothing from Toy Bonnie's metal "munchies." Toy Chica's waterhose attack doesn't bother him one bit. Mangle tries going for a bite to the face, but Dredbear just grabs one of Mangle's legs and throws it at Toy Freddy.

Dredbear scratches Toy Chica's beak off her face with his claws, and ends up biting Toy Bonnie's guitar into pieces when the bunny tried to use the instrument as a shield. Dreadbear's bite also casts a dark magic that badly damaged Toy Bonnie.

"My beak!" Toy Chica cried.

"Man, you look creepy without it," Toy Bonnie commented.

Toy Chica's eyes suddenly turn black as she growls and glares at Toy Bonnie, shutting him up.

"Someone do something," Toy Freddy pleaded.

"Mangle... unscrew... jaw," X.O.R. suggested.

Toy Bonnie distracts Dreadbear by throwing pieces of his broken guitar at him, allowing Mangle to sneak up on the ex-overlord of the Nightmare Realm. Mangle closes its teeth around the screw on the right side of Dreadbear's jaw and bites it off. Dreadbear's jaw now hangs and dangles with only the screw on the left keeping it secured. Mangle dodges Dreadbear's claw attack and bites off the left screw, causing Dreadbear's lower jaw to fall off completely.

"Brain... brain... brain," X.O.R. repeated over and over again.

Toy Chica aims her "waterhose" attack at Dreadbear's mouth, which works and makes him step backwards from the force. Toy Bonnie throws two robo-munchies that bite on Dreadbear's feet, keeping him in place. Toy Freddy throws his mic at Dreadbear's head, popping his head cavity open. Mangle leaps down from a leafless tree and bites Dreadbear's colorful brain. Mangle then throws it out. Without a brain, Dreadbear starts to shut down.

"We did it," Toy Freddy cheered.

"Don't celebrate yet, Toys," said Golden Freddy.

Toy Bonnie gets jumped by a Scrap PlushBaby, who threatens to cut off his ears with its claw. Toy Freddy, Toy Chica, and Mangle get hit by laser blasts from PlushBabies, forcing them to find cover. Toy Freddy's right ear gets blasted off. Toy Chica has a hole blasted through her right leg. Mangle gets blasted while jumping, resulting in a rough landing.

"How are plushies worse than a Franken-Freddy?" Toy Chica complained.

Nightmare Balloon Boy tries to catch X.O.R., but she keeps glitching and teleporting around the place, taunting BB's Nightmare counterpart. Nightmare BB is starting to get tired from chasing the monochromatic animatronic, so much so that his back is breaking again (the damage from El Chip and Candy Cadet caused to his endoskeleton spine still remains).

"Hold still, you little..." Nightmare BB growled.

"Not... a... chance," X.O.R. taunted.

Foxy is pinned to the ground by two Freddles jumping on his arms. Nightmare Freddy cuts Foxy's left leg in half with a claw attack, preventing him from being able to walk/run properly if he does get up.

"Argh, me leg!" Foxy cried.

"And if you want to keep the other one, don't move," Nightmare Freddy threatened.

Nightmare Bonnie's claw attack hurts Rockstar Chica and causes her to drop her maracas. After knocking out Rockstar Chica with a bite attack, Nightmare Bonnie throws one of her maracas at Rockstar Foxy, who gets knocked down by the maraca's magic when it collided with his face.

"I say it's time to end this now," Rockstar Bonnie sang. "You are going..."

Nightmare Bonnie interrupts Rockstar Bonnie by throwing Rockstar Chica's other maraca at him. To add insult to injury, Nightmare Bonnie snaps the rockstar bunny's guitar in half.

"You will pay for that, I guarantee your pain will forever last," Rockstar Bonnie sang with rising fury.

Jack-O-Bonnie throws Jack-O-Bomb at Freddy, who bats them away with his mic. However, thirty seconds of swinging is tiring his arms a little and his power boost spell is wearing off quickly. Once he got tired, Jack-O-Bonnie successfully hits him in the face with a Jack-O-Bomb. As if some burn marks on the face wasn't bad enough, Nightmare Bonnie leaps from behind him and slashes him in the back. Freddy slowly falls to his knees and then drops on his face.

"Only one more faction left," said Nightmare Bonnie.

"Where's the hippo?" asked Jack-O-Bonnie.

The hippo, a.k.a. Mr. Hippo, is telling a story to a group of a dozen PlushBabies. Orville, Pigpatch, Happy Frog, and Nedd Bear are hiding behind trees near Mr. Hippo, making sure he is safe, as well as themselves. The PlushBabies are shaking and malfunctioning from processing the hundreds (or thousands) of words that Mr. Hippo is saying. They were clearly not designed to absorb this much data.

"... not that I think it was interesting," Mr. Hippo continued to ramble. "But I do appreciate the effort put into it. It was a good read. A good book. I wasn't really interested in its themes and plot twists, but I can admire how hard this writer tried to appeal to a mature audience. I just think the author took the story too seriously. I mean, I get it was meant to be serious. There was a lot of death and misery, but I just think it was too grim. Granted, a story with very serious stuff is supposed to be grim, but this guy took grim storytelling to another level. And when I showed it to my friend Orville, he said..."

Mr. Hippo is interrupted by a Jack-O-Bomb to the face, courtesy of Jack-O-Bonnie. This leaves the Mediocre Melodies vulnerable to the PlushBabies that haven't self-destructed from the hippo's stories.

"What are we gonna do?" Chica asked, scared that she and her friends might lose.

"How about lay down and burn?" Jack-O-Chica responded.

JUMPSCARE16211616520_02_MP3!

Everyone stopped when they were struck by this sudden and unexpected jumpscare. Aside from the startling sound, a face flashed in front of their eyes. A white face with red rosy cheeks, tears tracks painted below the eyes, and two small white sparkles on these almost empty black eyes. Everyone knows this face.

It's The Puppet.

All eyes look at the very center of the battlefield and there she is. The Puppet, with a weakened Nightmarionne next to her. The Puppet's eyes look around with frightening silence. That fixed smile can't hide the vagueness in her eyes. Nobody moved, as they were still reeling from the jumpscare. Not even the so-called Nightmare Animatronics are immune to being spooked by their own scare tactics. Foxy is feeling almost as bad as when Nightmarionne jumpscared him earlier this week. X.O.R. transformed back into Dee-Dee almost immediately after the jumpscare. The PlushBabies (normal and Scrap versions) are deactivated.

"That's enough," The Puppet started.

"But Puppet," Balloon Boy spoke.

"I said, enough," The Puppet repeated.

"Nightmarionne, what is wrong with you?" asked Nightmare Freddy.

"Never mind that," said The Puppet. "Phantoms, if you can hear me, I know you're here. Show yourselves. No need to be scared. Not anymore."

On cue, the Phantom Animatronics phase out of the ground and reveal themselves. Everyone reacts almost the same way as the Phantoms are in bad condition. Phantom BB's head is twitching. Phantom Foxy's hook is still stuck in his head. Phantom Mangle is put back together with sludge. Phantom Chica's left eye keeps flickering. Phantom Freddy has a crack on his forehead.

"I can't apologize for what I did," said The Puppet.

"You did that?!" Someone from the distance exclaimed.

Arriving at the battlefield are Fredbear, Scrap Baby, Springtrap, and Ballora. Baby is the one who expressed surprise at The Puppet confessing that she is the reason for the Phantoms' damages. The family look at their allies and enemies, seeing serious damage dealt on both sides.

"We're sorry, Puppet," Fredbear apologized. "We failed."

"Don't be. It was my plan. It was on me," said The Puppet.

"What is going on here?" asked Jack-O-Chica.

"I would like to know as well," said a familiar haunting voice.

Right behind Fredbear and his family is an enemy they thought that had already finished off. But they were wrong. It's Nightmare Fredbear. He's back in full form and he sounds as aware and scary as before. No signs of decreased intelligence.

"How... I turned you into a plushie," Fredbear said, confused.

"The machine did its work after all," Nightmarionne commented.

"The dream energy. It reversed the effects," Springtrap realized. "Fascinating."

Fredbear not-so-gently elbows his father in the chest.

"It would seem I missed a glorious battle," said Nightmare Fredbear. "A battle that our new overlord lost."

"Don't condescend me, Nightmare Fredbear," Nightmarionne warned.

The Puppet grabs Nightmarionne by the head and glares at him intensely, reminding him that he's in no position to threaten anyone, not even his own people. Nightmarionne is not intimidated, but he is too weak to do anything.

"Something you want to tell your subjects, Nightmarionne?" The Puppet said.

"I don't think you need me to say anything," said Nightmarionne.

"You tried to exterminate us," Phantom Chica butted in. "We promised to help you, and you were gonna get rid of us."

"Wait, is this true?" asked Nightmare Fredbear.

"Nightmarionne's plan, I think, was to anger The Puppet enough to attack us. Make us weak so he can get rid of us and blame it on The Puppet," said Phantom Freddy.

"And that's not all," said Phantom BB.

"Silence!" Nightmarionne demanded.

"He's the one who killed Nightmare," Phantom BB revealed.

"What?!" All Nightmare Animatronics reacted, shocked.

"The Puppet accused him of it, but he just laughed. A guilty, self-praising laugh," said Phantom Foxy.

The Puppet starts doing something magical against Nightmarionne. She looks like she's trying to telekinetically pull something out of him. That something is a glowing purple orb, which is a soul.

"Nightmare's soul," The Puppet knew.

"What?!" The Nightmare Animatronics exclaimed again.

"Most of it," The Puppet said. She sensed that the soul was incomplete. "The machine that Springtrap built. You needed a remnant of Nightmare's soul to power it. You used the rest to increase your power."

"Lucky guess," Nightmarionne responded with gravely bitterness.

"Looks like your secret's out, Nightmarionne," said The Puppet. "Do you have anything to say in your defense?"

Nightmarionne says nothing, but the rage in his eyes are as clear as blue waters. The Nightmare Animatronics exchange looks, thinking about what they just heard from the Phantoms. It's difficult to digest since The Puppet is the one who harmed the Phantoms, but if Nightmarionne influenced her, then that changes their thoughts on these revelations. Plus, there is one thing about Nightmarionne that supports this claim.

"You never did like Nightmare," said Nightmare Fredbear. "Getting rid of him and pinning the blame on Fazbear. Quite clever, but not anymore."

"But does this change anything at all?" asked Nightmare Freddy.

"If you think this will stop the war, Puppet, you're wrong," said Nightmare Fredbear. "Nightmarionne may have deceived us, but his plan still appeals to us. To be free of this realm and become real. For humans to see us as more than just nightmares."

"Why bother redeeming them, Puppet? They're savages. Terror and destruction is all they know," said Golden Freddy.

"We're Nightmare Animatronics. What do you expect?" Nightmare Bonnie responded with no shame.

"Enough," The Puppet interrupted. "Do you all want to keep doing this for all eternity until we destroy each other? You know, someone once told me that there is no meaning to this war. That may not be completely true, but I can find reasons to believe that statement. Look at us. What do you see when you look at each other? Toy Animatronic. Phantom Animatronic. Shadow Animatronic. Does it matter what you are? We are all the same. But I understand why some of you think you want more. You're artificial. You're not real souls. You're afraid your lives are meaningless. That's why Nightmarionne's plan appeals to you, my dear Nightmares. With that machine, you'll become more than just a child's nightmares. You'll become living nightmares. And while I understand that, it is not the way for you or any of us to go."

"That's easy for you to say. You're not a product of a nightmare," said Nightmare Fredbear.

"Or the result of a hallucination," Phantom Freddy added.

"Let me finish," said The Puppet. "I know I failed all of you. For forty years, my concern was only for the lost souls of those were unjustly slaughtered. I wanted to ensure Faztopia was a safe haven for them should they finally be free. In making that my objective, I neglected others. I neglected the Nightmare Animatronics because of the circumstances of their creation and their savage tendencies. I neglected the Phantom Animatronics because I never understood them. I neglected more because they were not born of a pure soul. I neglected those whose lives I had deemed fake. But I was wrong to think that. You all exist in these realms for a reason. You are as alive as we are. It just took me too long to see that. When I finally knew what to do, I was too late. I let my anger stop me from trying to end this conflict through peace. I am reaching out to all of you again. Look into yourselves, look at one another, and tell me if you really want this war. We don't have to be like this anymore. We can live as one. We can make our eternity together much better for all of us. I know it's tempting to try again in the world of the living, but that's just not where we belong anymore. We belong in Faztopia. All of us. With each other."

The Nightmare Animatronics look at each other again, thinking about The Puppet's words. She had struck them in the right spot. To be an artificial being without a real soul is a torturous thought. They wanted conquest of Faztopia and then escape to the world of the living because they wanted to feel real. Being trapped in the Nightmare Realm makes them feel like caged animals. Animals who just want to be free. The Puppet knew what to say, and they feel... conflicted on the inside.

"You're not seriously considering listening to her, are you?" Nightmarionne asked his subordinates.

"Silence, Nightmarionne. You have no right to speak to us after your deception," said Nightmare Fredbear.

"And if we do agree to give up, what then?" asked Nightmare Freddy.

"Find a way for you to live with us, in Faztopia," The Puppet answered simply.

"Just that simple?" Nightmare Bonnie questioned.

"No, but I prefer that over damning more souls like Endo-01's," said The Puppet.

"Is this invitation extended to us Phantoms as well?" asked Phantom Mangle.

"To all of you," The Puppet answered.

"Including Nightmarionne?" asked Freddy.

The Puppet looks at her counterpart. As much as she wishes she could help him, he has proven time and time again that he would rather pull everyone's strings and gleefully revel in conflict.

"I'm afraid that's more complicated," said The Puppet.

"And what of my machine?" asked Springtrap.

"Should the Nightmare Animatronics agree to consider peace, we have no use use for it," said The Puppet.

"I worked tirelessly on that machine," Springtrap said furiously. "I will not be denied a chance to show its purpose..."

Ballora grabs Springtrap's arm, pulling him back.

"It has been decided," Ballora interrupted.

Springtrap shakes off his wife's grip of his arm and launches cursed springlocks at The Puppet. The Puppet raises one arm and magically stops the springlocks mid-air, without even looking at Springtrap's direction.

"Not very wise, Springtrap," said The Puppet.

The Puppet was tempted to just throw these springlocks back at Springtrap and scare him. Instead, she simply drops them.

"So, what do you all say?" asked The Puppet. "Would you at least consider my offer, or do you wish to keep fighting until there's nothing left?"

"Just so we're clear, accepting this means the barrier between realms goes?" asked Nightmare Fredbear.

"The barrier is a fixed object that I have no control over, but I will allow you to come to Faztopia whenever you want, so long as you mean no ill will towards anyone," said The Puppet. "Don't you ever wish you could be a part of our family?"

And that question is what worsened the Nightmare Animatronics' next silent thinking session. Looking for someone to speak on their behalf, they turn to Nightmare Fredbear.

"No guarantees, but we will consider," said Nightmare Fredbear.

"What?!" Nightmarionne exclaimed, outraged.

"You're not our leader anymore, Nightmarionne. You don't decide for us," said Nightmare Bonnie.

"I don't know. I'd still like to be real," said Nightmare BB.

Nightmare Freddy bonks Nightmare BB on the noggin, forcing him to shut up.

"So, is it over?" asked Toy Chica.

"Is it a tie?" asked Funtime Freddy.

"For now," said Jack-O-Chica.

"Fools! Idiots!" Nightmarionne shouted with fury. "I provide you opportunity, and you throw it away?"

"Do you expect us to trust anything you say?" Nightmare Chica questioned.

"Trust that you will regret crossing me," said Nightmarionne. "And you will... right now."

Nightmarionne straightens his left arm's tentacles and slashes The Puppet across the chest. Nightmarionne then quickly rises from the ground and lets out a ghastly, demonic scream as a black-colored aura forms around him, protecting him. The Puppet tries to attack, but touching the aura only shocks her with dark magic and knocks her far away.

"What is going on?" asked Bonnie.

"Wait... I don't feel... I feel... something hurts," Nightmare BB said strangely.

Suddenly, all Nightmare Animatronics start roaring. But they're not roaring with anger. No, they're roaring in pain. The artificial souls inside of them light up, which seems to be the root of their current pain. These souls start to escape their bodies and fly towards Nightmarionne. The black aura around him grows larger with each soul that he absorbs.

"Uh, guys. Molten Me is not looking too good," said Funtime Freddy.

Molten Freddy, due to being a manifestation of the Funtimes Animatronics' fears, disintegrates into dust once his soul was taken out of his body. Nothing left of him, not even the head.

"What is happening?" asked Freddy.

"He's using the souls of the Nightmare Animatronics to fuel his power," said The Puppet. "I could barely beat him with just Nightmare's soul. With all that power..."

"Not good," said Fredbear.

Springtrap suddenly steals the inter-realm transporter from Fredbear and uses it to open a portal to transport himself and his family out of here. Golden Freddy notices and tries to teleport into the portal, but the portal closes before she could hop in.

"Springtrap!" Golden Freddy shouted.

Nightmarionne finishes absorbing the souls of his subordinates, making himself even more powerful. He takes the moment to relish the moment, to relish the feeling of being even more empowered. He was already powerful before, as his power could rival both Nightmare's and The Puppet's. But now, he feels as if nothing and no one can overpower. All this darkness, all those souls, fueling his power. The feeling of being betrayed by the Nightmare Animatronics, the anger that resulted from that betrayal, it only added more to this feeling that makes him feel the most powerful. In fact, it's time to show it.

"The nightmare shall never end," he said.

Using the huge dark aura around him, Nightmarionne unleashes a gigantic burst of nightmare magic that washes over the entire graveyard, striking every single animatronic within the area. The wave of dark magic doesn't just result in a simple push with little damage. All of the animatronics are sent flying several feet away, sending them crashing into either trees, the dirt ground, or Jack-O-Lanterns. Not only that but the huge wave of nightmare magic drains their strength and energy, weakening them critically, including The Puppet. All of them lie on the black dirt, barely able to move due to this dangerous demonstration of immense power.

"That was... exhilarating," Nightmarionne said with vicious glee.

Nightmarionne looks at the collection of damaged and near unconscious bodies all over the graveyard. Some faces are missing.

"Springtrap," Nightmarionne growled.

Springtrap used the inter-realm transporter to take himself and his family back to his lab. He quickly runs towards his special machine, which has just been used by Nightmarionne to turn Nightmare Fredbear from a plushie back to his normal form. It proves that his son's dream energy can indeed be manipulated for different purposes. The first thing he does is check on the readings from the Nightmare Fredbear transformation. He looks pleased and is even more excited to use it for what he's always wanted to use it for.

"Fascinating. Truly fascinating," said Springtrap. "Nightmarionne configured the dream energy to entangle with the nightmare energy from Nightmare Fredbear, reversing his transformation. With just a little more energy, some recalibrating, and it will be truly ready. But imagine the possibilities..."

"Springtrap," Ballora interrupted. "You are still doing this?"

"It is almost done, my darling," Springtrap said excitedly. "We can escape this blasted realm. We can live once again. And to ensure that no one ever uses this machine to interfere with us, I will set a self-destruct timer. It will give us time to resurrect ourselves before it blows up."

"We're not doing this," Ballora insisted.

"This is not how our story will end," said Springtrap. "With this machine, we will have a chance to continue our legacy."

"A legacy of what? Of murder? Misery? Mayhem?" Ballora questioned with a criticizing tone.

Springtrap walks over to his wife and holds her hand gently. She was quiet surprised by how he approached her. It reminds her of when he would hold her before they would dance together. She looks into his eyes, which are practically begging her to give him another chance.

"At least we'll all be together," said Springtrap.

Ballora eases her temper for a little while as she looks her husband carefully. He seems to sincerely want to be with his family in resurrection. No matter how many times she expresses disdain towards him, he would still hold her hand like he would before. With her one free hand...

Ballora slaps Springtrap across the face.

"Ouch," Fredbear and Baby reacted.

Ballora frees her hand from Springtrap's and looks away with displeasure. Springtrap rubs his sore cheek as he looks at his disappointed wife with a legitimately dejected look on his own face.

"You'll never change," Ballora said sadly.

"Despite my actions, I did and still love you," said Springtrap.

"But not enough to abandon your work," Ballora responded harshly.

"Did we ever mean anything to you, Dad?" Fredbear questioned. "Family is made by choice. You and Mom brought me and Baby to the world. Did you want us, or not?"

"I have done nothing but care for you two," said Springtrap. "And your brother before... you know."

"No, Dad. You never cared," Fredbear said cynically. "When Elizabeth died, you just focused on your work. When Mom died, you just ignored me. When I cried every night, when my brother would scare me, you never cared."

"I cared when you died," said Springtrap. It an honest response, though.

"And what did you do when I did?" Fredbear questioned.

"I..." Springtrap paused. He didn't know why, but he couldn't respond to this question.

"Dad, step aside," Fredbear insisted calmly as he gripped his mic tightly. "If I have to fight you, I will. But even if you deserve worse than that rotten bunny suit, I'd rather not hurt you... too much."

"Elizabeth," Springtrap called. "Don't let your brother get in my way."

Baby, however, just stood there by the doorway. She wanted to obey her father and stop Fredbear from disrupting his work, but something inside her as forced her to stay back. She's wrestling with a choice. Join her father and make him proud, or listen to her brother and mother?

"Baby, come on," Springtrap called impatiently. "You want this as much as I do, don't you? Don't you want to go back to the world of the living? Don't you want to rewrite your story?"

"I... I... I don't know," Baby replied with uncertainty.

"Just stand aside, Springtrap," Ballora insisted. "I don't want to see you and your son fight..."

A flash of light and the sound of a lightning strike alarm the family. Nightmarionne comes teleporting in, all juiced up from the souls of his fellow Nightmare Animatronics. His glare is directed towards Springtrap.

"Planning to abandon everyone, Springtrap?" Nightmarionne questioned. He heard the whole thing.

"If it means I will no longer have to deal with you, yes," Springtrap confirmed.

Springtrap charges at Nightmarionne and jump-punches him in the face. Nightmarionne, however, was not bothered by it at all. Springtrap tries using a springlock attack, but the springlocks just bounce off Nightmarionne.

"Feeling inferior now, Springtrap?" Nightmarionne mocked.

Springtrap desperately tries another punch, but Nightmarionne catches his fist with her left arm's tentacles, wrapping them around his entire arm so he can't break free. Nightmarionne then impales Springtrap right through the chest with his right arm's tentacles.

"William!" Ballora reacted.

"Daddy!" Baby cried.

Nightmarionne makes sure that Springtrap is looking directly at his face. The nightmarish puppet wants his own face to be the last thing etched in Springtrap's mind, to strike fear into his eyes and heart as he loses his life.

"Have fun down there," Nightmarionne said, as he referred to the Nightmare Realm's version of down there.

Nightmarionne throws Springtrap against the wall. The dark magic from Nightmarionne's tentacles are crawling in every part of his body, draining life from soul. Baby and Ballora hurry towards him. Ballora tries to hold his hand, but the dark magic leaking from the tears in his body hurt her. Ballora is indifferent about this, but Baby is about to cry at the thought of losing her father.

"Daddy, no. No, don't," Baby begged.

"No... choice... my daughter," Springtrap grunted, in pain. "I just wanted... more... and you..."

Springtrap tries to raise both his arms, to hold the hands of his wife and daughter. But then his arms dropped. His eyes closed. A ghostly white glow emits from his body and it travels down. Down there. His soul has descended into an even worse place.

Ballora quickly hugs Baby as she goes silent from the sorrow and grief she feels right now. Ballora doesn't know how exactly to feel about Springtrap's fate, but she couldn't let her daughter cry on her own.

"Don't worry. You'll be joining him soon," Nightmarionne said maliciously.

"Self-destruct sequence initiated. You have 15 seconds to panic and run," the lab computer said.

Nightmarionne turns around sees that someone has activated the machine's self-destruct function. It was Fredbear, who used the brief fight as a distraction to destroy the machine.

"NO!" Nightmarionne screamed.

"I'm done being a lab rat," said Fredbear.

After just barely dodging Nightmarionne's tentacle attack, Fredbear runs to his family and opens a portal near them. Ballora holds her daughter's hand as they both jump into the portal, followed by Fredbear.

The lab computer counted down. "Five... four... three... two... one..."

"Darn you all," Nightmarionne cursed.

And the machine self-destructed. Any chances of escaping the afterlife and into the world of the living are gone along with the machine. Springtrap's amazing piece of work, just gone, along with the creator.

Back in the graveyard, everyone is still lying down on the black dirt, still seriously damaged by Nightmarionne's increased power. One animatronic was lucky to be behind a tree when the wave of dark magic hit him. It was Freddy Fazbear. He looks as damaged as the others, but not so much that he was basically unconscious. Even though the tree also didn't survive the dark magic blast, it helped Freddy become slightly less damaged than his friends and allies. This allows him to have some strength to stand up.

"Puppet... Puppet, where... Puppet," Freddy called weakly.

Freddy limps his way towards The Puppet as he looks around. All of his friends and allies, badly damaged and barely moving. There are some slight movements here and there, but they are all in very bad shape. It's very exhausting for the brown bear, both physically and mentally. While Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy all got to spend a few weeks enjoying Faztopia, Freddy himself just woke up and was immediately asked to go to war. In his first few days after the slumber, he has been attacked, damaged, and almost destroyed. Don't let all that stop you, he thought to himself.

Freddy falls on his knees, but right next to The Puppet. He gives her a gentle shake on the arm, begging her to wake up. And she did. She slowly pushes herself up, but she doesn't have the strength to float. She just sits down with Freddy next to her.

"Freddy, how are... how is everyone?" The Puppet asked, extremely worried.

"They're alive. The Phantoms, too," Freddy assured. "But they're too weak to fight. I could say the same for myself, but... I can still stand."

"I am you. You are me," The Puppet muttered to herself.

"Huh?" Freddy was confused.

"Would you believe if I told you that Nightmarionne is a part of me?" asked The Puppet.

"Are you... there is no way that's true," said Freddy.

"You've seen the Phantoms. I did that to them," said The Puppet.

"But they said Nightmarionne tricked you," said Freddy. "It's not your fault."

"Maybe, but this is a cold hard truth I can't deny," said The Puppet.

The Puppet turns around and looks at her children. All of them, down and out. Alive but in no shape to fight this war. All The Puppet can do now is summon a gift box and give everyone healing cupcakes. The healing spell is working awfully slowly, which emphasizes how much damage Nightmarionne can do with how much power he has, but at least the spell is doing its job. Everyone is waking up, but very slowly. The Puppet quickly remembers to give Freddy a healing cupcake as well.

"Are you up for one more fight?" asked The Puppet.

"I can more than just one, if I have to," said Freddy.

"I'm sorry I didn't wake you up sooner," The Puppet apologized. "You deserved to enjoy Faztopia way before... this."

"I'm not planning on dying again, and neither are you," said Freddy.

A portal opens, alarming the bear and the marionette. Fortunately, coming out the portal are Fredbear, Scrap Baby, and Ballora. Baby, though, looks like her eyes are about to leak tears due to how sad she looks right now.

"Where were you guys?" asked Freddy.

"Dad wanted to use the machine immediately," Fredbear answered. "We destroyed it, but Nightmarionne destroyed him."

Speaking of Nightmarionne, a flashing light signals his arrival. His body is slightly burning, having been caught in the explosion in the underground lab. Clearly, that explosion didn't do anything to him other than mildly scorch him. Those scorch marks heal rather quickly, which is another example of how much power he has gained from the souls of the Nightmare Animatronics.

"My plans... all gone," Nightmarionne growled with menacing ire.

"You killed Daddy," Baby said with hatred in her voice.

"All that's left now... is to send you all down there to suffer to eternity," Nightmarionne decided.

"Don't you dare ignore me," Baby said angrily.

Baby was about to attack with her claw. Nightmarionne quickly summons his four-wall dark projectile, sweeping Fredbear, Baby, and Ballora aside like they're just dust on the floor. The dark block leaves them in critical condition. Fredbear has tears all of his body and his wiring is leaking electricity. Baby's claw is shattered and one her pigtails is snapped off. Ballora loses a face plate and one of her legs is broken in half. They're still alive, but they can hardly move. And moving only worsens their pain. Ballora literally breaks an arm trying to push herself up.

"One last time, Puppet," Nightmarionne challenged.

"You'll have to go through me first," said Freddy.

Despite limping, Freddy runs towards Nightmarionne with the intention to bop him on the head with mic. Nightmarionne simply swats Freddy aside with his tentacles, treating him as if he's nothing more than insignificant. The swat leaves behind a few tears on his face, but he's still functioning. However, his pain just worsened from the swat. He's trying to stand up, but his arms and legs are giving up on him.

"Just you and me, Puppet," said Nightmarionne.

Nightmarionne charges with a tentacle attack, intending to strike down The Puppet. The Puppet conjures a neon slasher weapon to block attack. But the slasher weapon couldn't protect her from Nightmarionne's "bubble breath" attack, which destroys the slasher weapon and pushes her right through a half-broken tree, breaking it even more. The Puppet knows that Nightmarionne is too powerful for her handle on her own, especially in her weakened state. She needs help.

"Lefty, to me!" The Puppet ordered.

The Puppet holds her hand out and magically brings Lefty to her. One quick healing spell repairs Lefty's shell and he's back in fighting condition. The Puppet opens Lefty's chest cavity and floats inside. The upper half of Lefty's head opens, allowing everyone to see The Puppet's face. She's wearing Lefty like a battle suit, which is probably another one of the functions she built for him. Being captured and concealed inside this thing back during "The Great Fire" gave her the idea.

"Time to put you back on your strings, Nightmarionne," The Puppet said determinedly.

"Try at your peril, Marionette," Nightmarionne dared.

After casting a defense boost spell, The Puppet closes Lefty's head, like a helmet, as she controls the black bear to aid her in this battle. Lefty starts walking forward and and it slowly turns into running. Lefty's left fist glows with light magic as she throws the first punch. The punch actually hurts Nightmarionne, just barely. Nightmarionne tries to impale the black bear, but Lefty blocks the sharp tentacles with her arms. Lefty headbutts Nightmarionne, grabs him by the neck, and slams him face-first to the dirt. Lefty attempts to whack Nightmarionne with her mic, but Nightmarionne knocking the black bear back with his "bubble breath" attack. Fortunately, the defense boost spell reduces the intended damage.

"Come out of that suit and fight me!" Nightmarionne shouted.

"You'll have to tear it apart first," The Puppet dared.

"With pleasure," said Nightmarionne.

Nightmarionne conjures sludge at Lefty's feed, gluing him in place. Nightmarionne summons a dark block and pushes it towards Lefty. Lefty creates the biggest neon shield she can conjure up. The dark block, however, deals an enormous amount of damage that destroys the neon shield and causes Lefty's shell to start breaking apart. Nightmarionne charges again with his tentacles ready to impale. Lefty creates a slasher weapon out of light magic and, with perfect timing, slashes Nightmarionne, scratching his face and knocking him away. Lefty charges up his eye blaster and fires a huge beam of light magic, successfully hitting Nightmarionne. Just when it looked like it worked... Nightmarionne gets back up as if he had just received a gentle push.

"Impressive, but not enough," said Nightmarionne.

Nightmarionne zooms towards Lefty and starts slashing her with his tentacles as fast as he can, scratching the black bear's armor and opening more tears. Nightmarionne sticks his right arm tentacles into the black bear's mid-section and his left arm tentacles into the head. The tentacles missed The Puppet inside, but impalement is not the plan. No, the tips of the tentacles start blasting dark magic inside Lefty. Nightmarionne overloads the inside of the black shell with dark magic until it explodes.

Lefty is in pieces. The Puppet lies on the ground, feeling almost as weak as she felt from the dark magic wave from earlier. This leaves her open and vulnerable. Nightmarionne is not wasting this opportunity and prepares to finish this short but intense rivalry between the two of them.

"I will miss our battles, Puppet," said Nightmarionne. "But this will be our last."

"Not if I have anything to say about it," said a certain brown bear.

Freddy, having finally gotten back up, charges at Nightmarionne again and, this time, successfully hits the nightmarish marionette in the face with his mic. Unfortunately, that didn't do anything. Nightmarionne swats Freddy aside again, damaging him some more. Once again, Freddy is too hurt to get up. This time, though, Nightmarionne turns his attention towards Freddy, irritated by the brown bear's resilience.

"Freddy Fazbear. You are nothing more than an insignificant pest in a much larger story," Nightmarionne insulted. "It's time to end your legacy, once and for all."

Nightmarionne stretches his right arm forward, with his tentacles straightened and sharpened. The tentacles impale someone... but it's not Freddy. No, Nightmarionne has impaled...

"Puppet," Freddy said with shock.

Worse, the others have woken up, thanks to The Puppet's healing, and they just witnessed probably the worst sight ever. For all of the pain they've just suffered, seeing The Puppet lose right in front of them hurts much more. She actually risked her own soul to protect the soul of one of her children. Even the Phantoms couldn't believe it. All of them desperately try to move and help, but they're still weak. The healing cupcakes are working, but not fast enough.

"Marionette, no," Golden Freddy cried.

Golden Freddy tried to teleport, but she could only glitch in and out of one space. She is forced to watch The Puppet suffer under Nightmarionne's magic.

"Foolish choice, Marionette," said Nightmarionne.

Nightmarionne lets The Puppet go, leaving her to suffer in pain. He turns his head and sees that The Puppet's children still live and are healing.

"They're next," said Nightmarionne.

Nightmarionne rises higher into the skies as he builds up his power once again, preparing to eradicate The Puppet's entire party with one fatal blow. As he does that, both Freddy and Fredbear limp their way towards the injured The Puppet. Fredbear taps his microphone repeatedly and desperately, trying to do something. He could cast healing music, but the musical note that tries to heal The Puppet's wound disintegrates from touching the dark magic.

"No, I can do this," Fredbear hoped.

"Your magic is still far from its full potential," said The Puppet. "It won't do."

"Puppet, can't you heal yourself?" asked Freddy.

The Puppet raises her arm and tries to cast a healing spell. All that came out of her fingers are sparkles that quickly withered and died. Her arm dropped quickly, which only told how weak she is right now.

"My Dad would be so disappointed," The Puppet mumbled.

"Don't give up yet, Puppet," said Fredbear. "Please, don't... I don't want you to... no..."

Fredbear's eyes are about to leak tears. The Puppet caresses the golden bear's cheek as another act of comfort, like she used to do when they were both still kids. When he cries, she's there for him. Even now, in her worst condition, she still tries to do the same for him.

"Don't cry. You've shed enough tears for too many lifetimes," The Puppet said gently.

The Puppet turns the other direction and puts her hand up, reaching for something... or someone. But before Freddy and Fredbear could see, The Puppet's arm drops as the white in her eyes fades away.

"No, no, no. No!" Fredbear cried.

Fredbear starts shedding tears. All Freddy can do is close his eyes respectfully as he tries to hold back his own tears. What the two bears don't notice is that Fredbear's hands start lighting up as he holds The Puppet's hand. A white ghostly glow shines from within The Puppet, but not one of the bears could open their eyes to see it.

Nightmarionne, meanwhile, is almost finished building the biggest four-wall projectile of darkness he has ever created. All he has to do is send it crashing to the ground and it will send all the souls to the Nightmare Realm's fiery depths below the black dirt.

"If I cannot ascend, then I will bring all of you down with me," Nightmarionne roared. "Prepare to..."

Something drops from the sky and hits Nightmarionne on the way down. This thing crashes down, which also meant a rough crash landing for Nightmarionne. The thing that dropped out of the sky is a truck. A truck that belongs to Helpy's Helpful Services. The driver of the truck is none other than Helpy himself. He leans out of the driver seat's window and waves at everyone, greeting them.

"Am I late?" asked Helpy.

"Right... on... time," said a glitchy voice.

It was Dee-Dee, who transformed into X.O.R. again. She's the one who summoned Helpy.

"Puppet's... last... request," X.O.R. explained.

"No offense, but how is Helpy supposed to help?" asked Baby.

Helpy gets out of the truck, opens the back, and pulls out a chest. A chest very similar to the one Old Man Consequences gave to the Original Four. The little bear gives the box to Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy, who were finally healed enough to stand up. A glow was emitting from within the box. A glow that changes color. From red to orange to yellow to green to blue to indigo to violet, and it restarts the cycle.

"Rainbow magic, from the Magic Rainbow at Rainbow Valley," Bonnie realized.

"About time. We needed this at the start of the battle," said Foxy.

"Do you have any idea how hard it was to collect it when the rainbow is awake and trying to destroy you?" Helpy replied, clearly annoyed by his encounter with the Magic Rainbow. "Anyway, this is for you."

"And you better open it now," said Fredbear. "Look!"

Nightmarionne just pushes the truck off of him and sends it flying very high in the sky. Where and when that truck will fall, it doesn't matter. The truck didn't keep Nightmarionne down long enough, but it did cancel his dark block. Instead of the same dark block, Nightmarionne settles for an orb of dark magic that is half the size of the Nightmare Manor.

Freddy walks (or limps) as fast as he can towards his three closest friends. They all put their hands on the box, both to use it as a crutch and to open it together.

"One more time?" Freddy asked his friends.

"One more time," Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy agreed.

"For The Puppet," said Freddy.

"For The Puppet," Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy repeated.

Nightmarionne sends his giant dark orb towards Help and the Original Four. But when the Original Four opened the box, the rainbow that emerges from within quickly nullifies the dark orb. The rainbow also splits into four and showers the Original Four with its power once more. All of the pain they've suffered from just one blast of dark magic, it has magically disappeared. Not only are they fully healed, but they are now much stronger than before. It is a feeling they are very familiar with, when they used this exact power against Nightmare.

"Oh, yeah! Back to form!" Bonnie cheered.

"Me leg. It's fixed," Foxy said happily.

"I feel great. Better than great," Chica said, energized.

"Okay, guys. Let's win this," said Freddy.

"I have the combined power of every Nightmare Animatronic. Rainbow magic will not be so efficient against me," Nightmarionne bragged.

"I guess that means we gotta crank up the beat," said Bonnie.

Nightmarionne unleashes a really powerful Bubble Breath attack. Bonnie steps in front of his friends and uses his Shield Byte, which has also been made stronger by rainbow magic. The Shield Byte not only protects the Original Four from the dark bubbles, but it also deflects them back at Nightmarionne, hurting him with his own ability. Bonnie throws his Shield Byte in the air and sends a wave of musical notes to push the Byte towards Nightmarionne. The high-speed collision from a rainbow-powered projectile further hurts Nightmarionne, weakening him just a little bit.

"Launch me," Foxy suggested.

Bonnie and Chica hold the Shield Byte with Foxy standing on it. The bunny and the chicken use their enhanced strength to launch Foxy up high. Foxy raises his enchanted hook and slashes Nightmarionne, further damaging her. As he lands, Foxy throws his Bomb Byte at Nightmarionne. It explodes and blows Nightmarionne down on his back again.

"Time for a light show," said Freddy.

Freddy uses his powered-up Wasp Byte to blast lasers at Nightmarionne. The Byte fires lasers so fast that Nightmarionne couldn't counter. He tries casting a dark shield, but it only took one laser blast to destroy it before he continues getting bombarded by laser blasts.

Chica, for some reason, throws her Health Byte at Nightmarionne. Instead of healing him, the Byte zaps him with rainbow magic, decreasing his health instead.

"Since when can a Health Byte hurt someone?" Freddy questioned.

"Rainbow magic," Chica answered bluntly.

"So, how do we end this?" asked Foxy.

"With the power of music," Freddy answered.

"Now you're speaking my language," said Bonnie.

Bonnie starts slowly with his guitar before suddenly strumming hard, creating a giant blue music note (an eighth note, to be specific). Freddy waves his mic like a wand and adds its power to the note. Chica summons a rain of cupcakes the strengthens the music note. Foxy slashes the note multiple times to share his hook's power. All of these combinations turned the blue music note into a rainbow-colored music note. With Nightmarionne healing himself, it was now time to unleash the ultimate rainbow-powered attack.

"The stage is set, but the party is over," Bonnie said seriously.

Bonnie strums his guitar one more time, sending the rainbow-colored music note towards Nightmarionne. The note leaves a sparkly trail with colors of the rainbow as it moves closer and closer towards the nightmarish marionette. Just as Nightmarionne was close to being fully healed, the huge and colorful musical note bashes him, resulting in an explosion that shoots a rainbow-colored beam into the sky.

Everyone looks up as the rainbow beam penetrates the stormy clouds above. As the beam begins to disappear, they look back down to see what the Original Four's attack has done.

To everyone's surprise and confusion, souls were flying out of the beam. These are the artificial souls of the Nightmare Animatronics. They appear to be returning to their bodies. Once the Nightmare Animatronics regained their souls, they woke up. Despite their "lifeless" bodies being caught in the dark magic blast from earlier, their souls allow them to function once again. Now that they have been revived, they, too, can witness what has happened.

"What happened?" asked Nightmare Fredbear.

"A miracle happened," Shadow Freddy answered.

Nightmarionne is still right there, except he is lying on the ground, feeling very weak. So weak that he can hardly move anything. His pained growls and moans can be heard. Despite all the power he has gained from absorbing the souls of his minions, the Original Four have proven that rainbow magic will work on a Nightmare Animatronic regardless of how powerful he/she/it is. He may not be destroyed, but in the poor state he's in, he might as well be nonfunctional right now.

Fredbear, meanwhile, wonders why he does not feel even a little bit of joy seeing Nightmarionne in a defeated state. The lifeless body next to him is why. The Puppet is gone. Her soul, struck down by dark magic, doomed to descend into the Nightmare Realm's version of down there. How is this a victory if The Puppet is suffering for all eternity? One can say they have avenged her soul, but her soul is not in peace.

"It's okay, Fredbear," a voice spoke.

"What... Puppet? I mean... Marionette?" Fredbear was confused.

A ghostly figure appears right in front of the yellow bear. It's her. It's The Puppet. Fredbear sees her body still next to him, but what's in front of him is her ghost. Her spirit.

"But how? You were supposed to... how are you..." Fredbear is confused.

The Puppet gives Fredbear a hug. She may look like a ghost, but he could still feel her touch. This compels him to hug her back, despite his confusion.

"You saved me, Fredbear," said The Puppet. "Your dream energy. When you touched me, it saved my soul from eternal damnation. You wished I wouldn't suffer the worst fate. That wish came true."

"But... you're not alive... well, alive like us," Fredbear noticed.

"No, I'm not. I'm nothing more than a spirit who must move on," said The Puppet. "I can't go back to Faztopia with you."

"I don't know if I should be happy or not. We won, but you can't stay with us," Fredbear said solemnly. "We can live in peace, but you can't live it with us."

"It's okay, Fredbear," said The Puppet. "I'm ready. Besides, I think it's better if I left Faztopia in the care of its creator. I know you won't let me down."

"Wait, what? Me?" Fredbear asked, confused again. "What do you mean by creator?"

The Puppet just pats Fredbear on the head as she floats away. While Fredbear thinks about his friend's words to him, The Puppet's spirit approaches the downed Nightmarionne. To say that Nightmarionne and everyone else is shocked to see The Puppet's soul still above the surface and not suffering below the surface would be an understatement.

"Pu... Marionette? Is that you?" Golden Freddy asked, surprised and quite relieved.

The Puppet simply nods at her second-in-command, confirming that her eyes are not deceiving her.

"How?" Nightmarionne wondered.

"Our worlds work in strange ways, don't they?" The Puppet said casually.

"You are supposed to be rotting in the fiery depths below," said Nightmarionne.

"I should, but I'm not," said The Puppet. "I'm still here, because I'm not finished with you."

"What can you possibly do to me?" asked Nightmarionne. "Or will you feel empty without your dark reflection?"

"In a way, I suppose you are right," said The Puppet. "I am you. You are me. And you're coming with me."

The Puppet puts her hands on Nightmarionne's head. Her touch causes Nightmarionne to scream in pain as the white in his eyes grow and grow. A bright light shines around him and The Puppet. When the light ceased...

Both The Puppet and Nightmarionne are gone.

Immediately after their disappearance, the stormy clouds above start to vanish. For the first time ever, the animatronics can lay eyes on what is behind those dastardly dark clouds. The night sky with stars that shine like glitter. Even for the Nightmare Animtronics stare in awe at this enchanting sight.

This may be the end of the battle, but it's not the end of the story. There are still two chapters left - the aftermath chapter and an epilogue. But this is it. The final battle has ended. Nightmarionne has been defeated. The other Nightmare Animatronics are willing to consider peace. The aftermath chapter will show how everyone responds to the end of the war.

Notes/Explanations:

1. Have you seen animations on YouTube where Lefty's face opens to reveal The Puppet's face underneath? It makes it look like The Puppet is the one in control, not Lefty. Regardless, that inspired the idea of The Puppet wearing Lefty as a battle suit.

2. I apologize if the ending of the previous chapter made some of you think that something more sinister was being created inside Springtrap's machine. It was really just Nightmare Fredbear being transformed back to his normally scary form (even in his FNaF World form, Nightmare Fredbear is still kinda scary). Besides, I wanted him to hear The Puppet's speech and offer.

3. In case you ask, no, Molten Freddy didn't come back after Nightmarionne's defeat. As for Dreadbear, he's literally brainless.

4. Helpy was supposed to be another one of X.O.R.'s summons in the previous chapter, but I decided to save it for this chapter. No way I was gonna pass up an opportunity to have Helpy help in a big way.
