Ginny was busying herself in the kitchen, attempting cleaning spells. Ron and Hermione were sharing a quiet moment in the back garden and Harry sat alone in front of the window where, only a half hour ago, he had been talking to his Dad. Sighing to himself and lost deep within his thoughts. He picked up the box and the belt from his lap and walked upstairs. Passing under the beam with the dent in it he crept up the dusty stair case. Passing by the empty bedrooms he made his way into the attic. He hadn't noticed it before but on the ceiling right above the entrance was written Marauder's Headquarters. Harry was no longer bothering to hold back the tears. He let himself feel all the emotions of the day as he rested his head against the wall staring at the place where the tree was. Lighting up the room he now stood before it. Harry carefully placed the box and belt at his feet and took out his wand. Tracing the letters with his eyes he made his way down to where Peter Pettigrew's name was. Or, as Harry corrected himself, to where it had been. The place where the name had been written was black and looked as though someone had punched the wall, leaving a dent. 'Sirius' Harry thought to himself. Of course he would've removed his name as soon as he discovered that he had betrayed Lily and James.

Harry looked at Sirius' name on the tree. It was perfectly intact. Remus had not visited here then. He hadn't done the same as Sirius upon discovering the supposed betrayal of his friends. Maybe Sirius was more dramatic… Or maybe, Harry concluded, Remus was never able to fully believe that Sirius was guilty after all.

Comforted by this thought Harry turned to Remus' name. He was taken by surprise again. It seemed that Remus had been here. For next to his name was now the name of Tonks and below: Teddy Remus Lupin.
