Pass me the eye liner
...Abhijeet was there to pick Tarika for a party. He was at her house. Usually Tarika was a very punctual person but due to some last moment forensic analysis she got late. So, when Abhijeet showed up at her door step she was barely done with anything. Abhijeet didn't complain though. He asked her to take her time.
Tarika was wearing ear rings and Abhijeet was adoring her sitting on her bed. She was looking divine in that black one piece. He didn't mind being late at all if he got to see such beauty in front of his eyes, trying to do her touch ups in hurry, with that knitted eyebrows of her, and that slight irritation all over her face. He loved her ever sights. Well, not sad sights obviously.
"Abhijeet mujhe ghurna band karo and help me out." Tarika barked at him looking his image in mirror.
Abhijeet's smile turned upside down for a while but his face lit up once again.
"Haan Haan.. kahiye na Tarika ji keisi madat chahiye apko meri?" He asked standing up and walking towards her.
"Aap meri madat dur se hi karein."
"Dur se keisey madat karu?" Abhijeet was confused.
"Mujhe eye liner pass karna." Tarika asked him trying to hook her ear rings looking at the mirror.
"Abhi karta hu." Abhijeet said dramatically and bent down to look for eye liner. He picked up the glass vessel from the dressing table containing at least two dozens different colours and shapes' pencils. Abhijeet excited face turned into a puzzled one in a fraction of second.
"Etene sare!" He mouthed and then talked on his mind, "is mein se eye liner konsa!" He started reading out from the pencil's lebels.
"Pass me the smoky one." Tarika said applying lipsticks on her lips.
Abhijeet looked at her for a second with disappointment and then continued searching the desired piece of pencil which he thought was tougher than finding clues in a well planned murder case. But, he kept his thoughts to himself.
After reading from 3-4 pencils he was done. He had his patient's level tested.
"Do na?" Tarika forwarded her hand, still looking at the mirror, checking the lines of her lipstick.
Abhijeet placed the entire box on her palm which made Tarika looked at him. She gave him a confused look.
"Tum dhun lo." Abhijeet said as calmly as possible.
Seeing Tarika's facial expression changing Abhijeet gulped. He thought for an escape and got one within a second. He took out his phone from his pants.
"Wo.. Daya ka phone.." He pretended looking at the screen, "main abhi aya.. attend karke." He walked towards the window, sighing in relief.
He looked at her from the corner of his eyes and found her going through the pencils till she found her desired one with a scoff face. She threw him an angry look and he pretended busy with the call.
Before she could ask him to help with her coat of God know which shade and also with her heels he thought to make an exit. He never got what was it with girls and the shades of a single colour!! Colours, which he didn't know exist till Tarika introduced them to him.
"Main Gari nikal ta hu.. tum ajao." Abhijeet said to Tarika and left the room still acting like he was over phone.
"Yeah, yeah.. keep acting." Tarika shouted behind him which he ignored obviously..
KK: The eyeliner idea is somehow inspired from a video of filter copy. Hope you have enjoyed it. Don't forget to review.
