The flight to Scotland was long. The connecting flights were delayed, and he hadn't spoken with Olivia since he left DC. It was 2:00 am in DC. He didn't want to leave the hotel, but the party was starting in a few hours. Now that he was in Scotland, he was happy Karen was still in DC. There was no way she would be okay with a 14 hour flight and connections at different airports. He had to make a choice, and his grandma won. He cooked breakfast for Karen before he left Olivia's house. Olivia let him know that she was running errands the whole day. She needed groceries and Karen needed more shoes. When his phone rang, he thought his mom was calling to let him know she made it and checked into her hotel. The last person he was expecting to talk to was Olivia so early in the morning her time.

"Can't sleep?"

"No, are you in Scotland?"

"Karen?"

"Yes, it's me."

"What are you doing up this late?"

"Mom's friend took us to a restaurant, and we got back a few minutes ago. Mom is upstairs with her friend."

"What friend?"

"His name is Harrison."

"There's a guy with Olivia this late at night?"

"Mom wanted to show him the whole house, so now their upstairs."

"Does Harrison live in DC?"

"He lives in Virginia, and he said he is here for a new job. Mom says they have been friends for a long time, and then mom said she wanted to get together earlier in the day, and she is tired because she is pregnant, and he said congratulations let me take you and Karen to Buffalo Wild Wings, and mom said she wanted some ranch chicken wings, and he said you're having pregnancy cravings already? and mom said yeah, and then we all went to the restaurant, and I got chicken wings and French fries."

"Olivia is showing him the house?"

"Yeah because Harrison said your house is huge, and mom said let me give you a tour before you go to your hotel, and he said you love bragging about your accomplishments and they laughed. They are coming back downstairs. I have to go. Mom wants her phone."

"Okay, I'm going to call you later Karen."

"Bye dad."

Fitz was jealous. Harrison could be only a friend, but why were they getting together so late at night? Lucky for him, his little chatterbox would give him updates on everything.
