GUYS.
THIS IS THE FINAL CHAPTER OF THIS BOOK.
You probably knew this by seeing the 'complete' label, but I promise you, we've only just started. Actually, if y'all want to know, I am currently writing the last chapter of this trilogy. So it's a big day for me, to be finishing this series in writing while finishing the first book in publishing. It's just insane. Because of this, I'd like to just say how grateful I am for the reviews, the love, everything this story has gotten. Me and HoneySnow went from making this idea up during one of our before-COVID sleepovers to having three books written, one published, and nearly 100 reviews. It's amazing, and I offer my deepest gratitude, because I don't think I can type anything else lol
Succulentsofa- Yessss, Redshadow needs love, my poor dude. Thank you, and hmmm maybe foreshadowing, but I dunno. I hope you enjoy the sequel too!

Featherstride walked across the moor, her heart pounding.
I can't believe this is really happening! She headed towards the forest, her paws trembling.
Why am I so nervous? I KNOW she likes me! And I like her! Ugh! Why is this so HARD?!
She sat at the border and waited for Firefall to come. What if it was a prank? What if she really hates me?
Featherstride shook her head. It'll be fine, everything's fine…. Seconds later she heard rustling in the ferns.
Firefall slipped out into the moonlight.
"H-Hi." Firefall mewed. She's nervous too.
"Hi." She replied.
"So umm, where do you think we should meet?" Firefall asked.
"Meeting here would be too obvious, and everyone would smell our scent. So we need to find a place where nobody will smell our scent." She pointed out.
"Oh!" Firefall started. "I think I know a place that leads into the caves from the reef!" Firefall exclaimed.
"There is one cave that goes towards the reef that nobody uses." Featherstride mewed.
"Great! Let's try it out! I'll see ya there!" Firefall yowled as she ran towards the reef. Welp, guess I'm doing this now.
Featherstride headed back towards the caves and was quiet enough to the point where everyone was still asleep. This is crazy this is crazy this is crazy.
She walked along the path that led to "the reef" and waited there for Firefall. Where is she? Suddenly, Firefall burst out of the water, splashing water everywhere.
"You got me all wet!" She mewed.
Firefall giggled, and splashed more water onto her. Oh, it's on!
Featherstride splashed Firefall with the biggest amount of water she could muster.
"Ohhhh, you'll get soaked for that." Firefall laughed. She pulled Featherstride into the water having her whirl around in confusion.
"What kinda cat doesn't know how to swim?" Firefall asked.
"What kind of cat DOES know how to swim?" She replied.
Firefall let out a mrrrowww of amusement.
"Paddle with your paws like this…." Firefall instructed. "Great!" Firefall purred.
"You're a natural!" Firefall yelped.
"Haha! NOW you've given me the advantage!" She squealed as she splashed water in Firefall's face.
Firefall jumped in the pool, splashing all over. "Ahhhhhh! YOU'LL pay for that!" She yowled.
This is great! I can do this forever!
I WISH I could do this forever!
Ta-da, the ending to the happiest book in the entire trilogy! The next book, Into Darkness, will be published next Thursday, and I look forward to continuing to publish this story. In that book... stuff really goes down. Anyways, stay safe!
