"Paladins! Everybody get to the infirmary now!"
Allura's voice over the speakers the following morning, had the bedroom doors open with heads poking out. A toothbrush hung out of Hunk's mouth, Pidge pushing her glasses up her nose, and Lance is yawning. The three never noticed that Keith poked his head out from Celestia's bedroom.
"It's Shiro!" Allura's voice added.
The Paladins' eyes grew as their sleep fogged minds quickly cleared, everyone rushed out into the hall and down the hall.
XxXxXxXx
"Easy Shiro." Coran said gently as he helped Shiro slow sit down, and Allura wraps a blanket around his shoulders.
"How do you feel?" She asks.
"My head hurts." Shiro answered, just as the door slid open to reveal Hunk and Lance getting stuck in the door, shoulder-to-shoulder in the doorframe. Pidge crawled in between their legs and smiled as she stood up and hurried up to Shiro, hugging him with tears.
"Shiro!" She beamed.
"Hi Pidge." He smiled.
"Guys! Stop clowning around!" Keith yelled from the hallway.
Hunk turned to look at him from over his shoulder. "Who's clowning? We're stuck!" As if to prove it, he and Lance tried to wiggle free.
Celestia sighed as she stood next to Keith. "Must we do this all the time?" She put her hands together, then pulled her hands back like she had a rubber band, then she moved her hands and pushed them forward as she said a spell.
Lance and Hunk screamed as they suddenly went flying into the room and fell face down into the room.
"Oops." Celestia squeaked as Keith guided her into the room and he followed. Keith walked straight up to Shiro.
"Shiro!"
The two hugged.
Celestia smiled as it was her turn to hug him. "It's great to have you back."
"Thanks for saving me."
"Of course."
"Don't worry Shiro, I'll get you something to eat!" Hunk smiled before he turned and ran out, Pidge quickly followed him out.
"Are you going to be ok?" Keith asked as Shiro leaned back a little, pressing his back up against the panel behind him.
He slowly nods. "Yeah, I think so." He sighs. "I think I just need to take sometime to recup. I still don't feel right."
Keith sat down next to him. "You just worry about getting back to normal." He said just as the door slid opened to reveal Hunk walking in with a trey of food, Pidge right behind him.

An hour past and the door of the bridge opened to reveal Shiro walking in, dressed in a black short sleeved shirt, black pants, and black military comback boots. He placed his hands on his hips as he greeted the bridge.
"Great job out there, everyone. You've turned the tide in this war. I'm glad you never lost sight of the mission while I was gone."
Lance smiled. "You're looking better. How are you feeling?"
Shiro placed a hand on his head. "Good. Trying to get rid of this weird headache."
Pidge suddenly shot her hand in the air. "Guys, I think I got something here!"
"Pidge, that's great!" Celestia hurried over to her, soon everyone crowded around Pidge's station. "So, I downloaded intel from the Galra base we just defeated. I untied the quantum-fold encryption, and I found something on Lotor."
Shiro frowned. "Who's Lotor?" He asked, turning to Keith.
"Zarkon's son." Keith answered, then folded his arms. "Do you know where he is?"
"Well, not exactly, no, but the last three sighting of him of his command ship have been in the Va'Kar quadrant."
Shiro gazed at her. "Nice work, Pidge. Although, those quadrants are massive." He turned his gaze to both Allura and Keith. "How will we pinpoint his location?"
Hunk, who was knelt next to Pidge, looked at her. "Hey, that comet is made from the same material as Voltron. Mayme I can scan the emission spectrum for Fraunhofer lines, like when I found Blue Lion!"
Pidge leaned forward slightly. "But you know those emissons are suject to free induction decay. Those are exponential drop-offs."
Hunk frowns. "Yeah, but if you could find a way to amlify the sensors - no, there'd be way too much interferance. What if instead, we increase the SA magnitude?"
"The spires of the castle!"
"Genius!"
The two jump up and race out of the bridge, leaving the others confused.
Lance gazed at Keith. "I have no idea what either of them just said."
Shiro turned to the others. "Let's set a course for the Va'Kar quadrant while they get started on that detector. We need to work fast. Who knows what Lotor has planned for that comet."
Allura smiled at him. "Agreed, and it's good to have you back."
XxXxXxXx
Hunk sat at his station. "Ok, we're gaining on it."
Shiro stood at his old station. "Make sure we stay back far enough to be undetected."
Pidge is studying her holographic screen. "Looks like the signal stopped in the Ulippa System. Activating long range scanners." She brought up images of the base bringing a ship into focus onto the main screen. The ship was a Galra cruiser.
Keith leaned forward, then stood up. "That's not Lotor's ship."
Hunk looked at his holographic screen. "But, the comet is there."
Both Shiro and Keith turned to everyone - and spoke at once. The two looked at each other. "Oh, I'm sorry. Go ahead Shiro."
"We need to get that comet. They must be transporting it into that base. It'll be vulnerable during the transfer. That's the best time to strike."
Suddenly the cruiser opened fire on the base.
Lance cocked his head. "Who the heck are those guys?"
Shiro frowned as he sat down at his old station. "I don't think they're moving the comet to that base. We need more information."
Keith nods. "You're right. You take the Black Lion. I'll stay with Coran and Celestia in the castle and provide support."
Shiro frowned, turning to cock his head at him. "Keith, are you sure?"
"I'm sure."
XxXxXxXx
Celestia sat at her station, Keith stood next to her. Both frowned when Shiro's voice came through the speakers.
"Keith, I'm gonna need you to lead this mission."
"What? What is it? What's wrong?" Keith questioned.
"The Black Lion isn't responding to me. It looks like your it's true Paladin now."
Keith nods. "I'm coming down."
XxXxXxXxXx
Shiro now stood in the bridge, next to Coran. He still wore his Paladin uniform.
The three on the bridge gazed at the dots who are the Paladins speeders as they raced through a canyon that gave them cover from the ship.
"The most important thing is for to get eyes on the comet. Second is figuring who who we're dealing with."
"Shiro, we've just boarded the ship." Keith's voice came through. "There's no crew in sight. Moving forward with the search."
XxXxXxXx
The roof opened on the Galra base. Shiro stared at the screen. "Coran, give me a close up look at that." The image zoomed in and it cleared up. "Is that."-
Coran's eyes grew. "The teledav! What in the name of King Groggery in Infirm is going on?"
Celestia quickly got a hold of the Paladins, with Pidge's face on screen. "Guys, a piece of the teledav is inside the Galra base!" She informs.
Lance shoved his face in Pidge's way. "The one we used to wormhole Zarkon ship?"
Celestia nods. "Yes!"
Allura's voice came from the speakers. "But they would never be able to operate it without an Altean." She cut herself off with a gasp. "Zarkon's witch! She had Altean markings!"
"Is anyone else freaking out?" Hunk asked.
"Yep, mark me down for one freak out." Lance answered.
"Me too!" Celestia added.
Keith's voice came next. "Lotor must be nearby. We need to find him and take him out for good."
Shiro shook his head. "Team, you cannot let Lotor get that ship. You need to get to your Lions. You need Voltron."
Keith's face appeared on screen. "Why take out one ship, when we can stop all of this by taking out Lotor himself? We can't let him keep outsmarting us!"
"That's exactly why we can't risk letting Lotor have that ship." Shio told him. "This is too important!"
"Keith, I want to stop Lotor as badly as you, but Shiro has a point." Allura tried to make him see reason.
"Ok, you guys go back to your lions. I'm gonna search the ship for Lotor."
Shiro again shook his head. "Keith, you need to stick together."
"Yeah, I'm with Shiro on this." Lance spoke up.
The others agreed, and Keith's voice was not happy.
"Fine. Let's move out."
XxXxXxX
Shiro stared at the screen as the enemy ship locked onto the lone piece of the teledav with a tracter beam. "We have to stop that ship."
"On it." Coran nods as his fingers flew over his controls. Suddenly a smaller ship flew out of the cruiser. "That ship must be made from the comet."
Shiro stares at the main screen. "Then let's be careful. Raise particle barrier. Fire the castle defenses."
The ship dodged the beams.
"A quick little bugger, isn't it?" Coran gazed at it, then continued to fire at the ship.
"I'm going out there!" Celestia yelled as she turned to leave, but Shiro grabbed her wrist.
"No! You need to stay here!" He ordered.
Her eyes hardened. "Do not tell me what to do, Shiro!" She growled, trying to jerk her wrist free, but his hold is firm.
The castle suddenly rocked as part of the barrier is destroyed.
Shiro through his arms out to keep his balance, as he did letting go Celestia, who fell to floor.
"That blast tore right through the particle barrier!" Coran cried.
As she laid on the floor on her stomach, Celestia rolled her eyes.
Shiro straightened up. "Team, where are you?"
Coran grunted as the particle barrier took another direct hit. "We can't take another hit like that!"
Celestia jumped to her feet. "I'm going out there now!" She yelled, turning to run off. But Shiro grabbed her around the waist and lifted her off her feet. "Shiro, put me down!" She yelled as she struggled, she broke free but he was able to grab her and through her over his shoulder.
"Guys, the cruiser is escaping with the teledav!" Shiro yelled, holding tight to Celestia as she struggled against him.
"I thought taking down the comet ship was the most important thing?" Keith growled with a grunt.
"We still can't let Lotor get away with the teledav." Shiro told him.
"Shiro's right." Allura jumped in. "We need to destroy it."
Keith let his frustration hit bet the better of him. "But the comet is right here! We need to take it down!" He yelled with building anger.
Shiro grunted as Celestia continued to struggle against him. "Keith the cruiser is getting away!"
"SHIRO, LET ME GO!" Celestia screamed so loud, that everyone winced. Shiro set her down and she stormed out of the bridge.
XxXxXxXxX
Celestia sat in her room, sulking. She wanted to watch the rest of everything, but not if Shiro was actng they way he was.
Lying down, she sighed as she hugged a pillow.
