over the open sea

"Over that way is Japan." Zelretch said pointing to the west as they stood on a platform of Kaleidoscope energy. "any city in particular you want me to go to?" Electra asked, wondering where Wallace was. "I acquired a house in Uminari City, I sent Wallace there already with a to do list." Zelretch said as he fished out a pair of armbands. "Put these on and brace for any pain that might happen. I never made a Device quite like this one." He instructed grimly but proud all the same.

The armbands opened and clamped to her wrists without any difficulty. The arm bands were made of some alloy that had a blueish hue to it. And each one had a gem that looked like a Mystic Quartz (a quartz treated to look like a Kaleidoscope color wise). Rei and Electra stared at the arms bands and waited for something to happen. After a moment, the Sword and Gauntlet of Dawning Storms got absorbed into the arm bands. "Was there any pain?" Zelretch asked, expecting that to happen. "No but what happened?" Electra asked.

Zelretch took a breath of sea air before explaining that the Device was made with the weapon in mind. Like a component of a car. After a lot of technical talk that went over Rei's head, he concluded with, "It's lacking one component, more of an added system than one that is needed, but it will arrive later." He grins. "say 'Storm Chorus, Set Up!' like you mean it." He requested. Electra rolled her eyes and does so. In a flash, she was wearing a magical 'set of armor' that went by a couple names. Barrier Jacket, Knight Armor, Knight Clothing, and Combat Equipment, to name a few. It acted as protection yet look like a normal outfit. Hers was a top and short (ended just above her knees), of darker blues and trimmed with electric yellow, that didn't hide her curves but provided coverage. She had fingerless gloves and sturdy boots on. And to finish off the look, she had feather cloak that matched her Thunder Bird form's wing feathers. "Wonderful! It took me forever to get the design right. Lorelei was quite helpful in that regard." Zelretch commented.

"Barthomeloi Lorelei, 'the Queen' of Clock Tower and Vice Director of the Mage's Association helped you design this?" Electra asked skeptically. "She was insulted by one of early ideas and refused to let me embarrass you by using 'an outfit so revolting that it would combust on sight' as she put it. I guess she didn't like the frills." Zelretch says with a smirk. He had made the ugliest dress idea ever just to trick her into helping. "The result couldn't have been better." He says.

The weapon was a thick floating tome and a staff. The staff was a shaft of the same alloy as the armbands, topped with an almost triangular cloud with the storm gem, she created, in the center of it. The tome was bound with gunmetal gray leather and had a magic circle of runes and symbols with a gem, that looked like the armband ones, in the middle of it and eight lightning bolt arrows branching out like the symbol of Chaos. "why is there that runic symbol on the cover?" Electra asked. Zelretch just said, "It's not a runic circle or a runic triangle like the other magic systems of this universe. They are not made to handle the kind of Chaos your spells will be using."

Electra hazarded a guess and said, "You figured out a system that mimics my Galvanism Skill and added it to the Device." The smile he had told her she was right. "Before I forget, if you find a book in need of filling, don't be afraid of injecting a little Chaos into it." Zelretch says as he teleports them to the house he talked about earlier.

Unknown place in Time and Space

EL-Hazard

"Did you find the person you were looking for?" A 5-year-old, blonde hair and brown eyed, human girl asked a red-haired teen, looked to be 15 or 16 years old, who was tapping away at a computer. "Not yet, EL-Hazard is disconnected to the 'present', for now, and the people that would know how to do it fast is dead along with the rest of the inhabitants." The teen patted the little girl on the head. "Alicia, your mother gave her life to bring you back to life and I know you have a clone/sister that would love to meet you." Alicia gave her a hug and in a somewhat sad voice, said "Does she really want me after what Mother did?"

The teen got down to her level and said "what Presea Testarossa did was unforgivable even if she had at some point, good intentions." The teen's eyes were an odd molten red color. That spoke of youth and great wisdom at the same time. "I was 'born' by chance. My 'sister' used a weapon with a bloody past, that I'm not ready to tell you yet, in a place outside of reality. She doesn't even know I exist yet. Chaos probably is the only one that even noticed I was 'born', and primal forces of the universe don't share information unless it's for their own enjoyment. I had to name myself 'Voleta' (It means 'Veiled') because there is literally no one other than us in this place to talk to that talks back." The now named teen said firmly.

"How long have you been here, Voleta?" Alicia asked, this was the first time she heard some of this information. "Time in a place like this is hard to keep track of. There is no sun or moon in the sky. There for, there is no days and nights. It's just a slow kaleidoscope of colors. What I do know is that it's been decades based on how the tree, that I'm using as a time measurement, has grown." Voleta answered as she got back to work. Alicia wandered the empty halls of the building, singing as she skipped happily. According to Voleta, it had been about two or three weeks since Mother appeared here with seven Jewel Seeds and her well preserved corpse in tow.

She paused at an open door with a creepy machine taking up most of that room. It had two tubes connected to the main machine. She didn't know much about it but the 'True revival' machine, as Voleta called it, could let you bring anyone or thing back from the dead. A sacrifice that was related and had memories of the to be revived was placed in the first tube and would have their body melted down to repair the target's corpse. The memories would be transferred to the newly revived being as the souls are traded. That's how she knew about what Mother did to Fate, her clone/ sister. She really wanted to meet Nanoha, an auburn-haired girl that could shoot giant pink lasers. (she may have knowledge from her mother, but she is still only 5 years old mentally.)

She continued down the hall until she found the door to the garden. It was full of fruits and vegetables of all kinds. She passed by all that to find the centerpiece of the garden, a 'god tree'. The tree was about 2 feet tall and sat int a floating pot. "Hello Mr. Tree." Alicia greeted. A feeling of fond greeting washed over her. This 'god tree' was as aware as a human being but said nothing. From the one-sided talks she had with 'Mr. Tree', she learned he was an experiment that reached the goal they were aiming for (a self-aware, long lived tree) and was left to his devices. They even gave him a floating pot that he could move about.

"I have question about the reason everyone is gone." Alicia asked. Mr. Tree gave a feeling that he was ready to answer. "Did they mess with forbidden Time magics? Because Voleta hinted at this place resyncing with the 'present'." Mr. Tree sent a feeling of pride. Alicia beamed. "I knew it! Soon as it syncs up, we can find who we're looking for. You can come too!" Mr. Tree was touched being included. "You been alone for too long! Maybe we can find sometree like you." Alicia said, hugging the pot carefully.

Electra sat at a table enjoying the morning calm. Momoko Takamachi, an auburn-haired woman in her 30s, came over to her table. "I don't mean to be rude, but shouldn't you be at school?" She asked. Electra sat her teacup down and answered. "I'm home schooled. You aren't first to ask me that question." Momoko sighed internally before asking about the armbands. "Oh these? I got them as a gift. The person who made them put a lot of work into them." Momoko tested the waters by saying, "My husband noticed this burly looking man with you at the grocery store. Is he related to you?" Electra smiles mysteriously. "No, Wallace is my bodyguard. I can fend off muggers, but having backup is always welcome." Electra finishes off the cup and pays with a large tip included. "the strawberry shortcake was divine." Electra said as she left.

Momoko carried the dishes to the kitchen of the café and her dark gray-haired husband, Shiro, was waiting for her. "you were right. She's got very faint scars on her arms." Momoko said concerned, "Some look to be made by animals." Shiro just took the dishes and started to wash them. "She's a trained fighter." He stated. "The way she moves says it all. She's aware of her surroundings to a degree only master swordsmen would have." Momoko sighed. "Do you think she is a mage like Nanoha?" She asked in a hushed voice. "Maybe. Something about her is making me wary. Not like she's evil, more like she's dangerous to fight." Shiro said warily. "Her bodyguard feels safer to fight, if just as futile." Momoko looked at him questioningly. "He's built to be a wall and even if you kill him, he will make sure you don't get past him at all costs. I've seen types of bodyguards like him in the past." He chuckles. "I can tell you are more likely to get blood from a stone than taking him down." He jokes, getting him a playful swat on the shoulder.

Yagami household

"So, they appeared out of nowhere when this book activated?" Electra asked the wheelchair bound brown-haired girl, Hayate Yagami. Hayate was a nine-year-old orphan who had caretakers come by every so often. Electra stealthily let Chaos energy flow into 'harmless book' she was looking at. It had a gold cross on the front and was on the thick side. "This looks like it came bash a few heads in?" Electra jokes. "Hey! Be careful with that!" A short red headed girl, named Vita, snatched the book from her angerly. "this is an important magic Device. Not a brick to throw." Vita said. "I get that. I'm more worried about Hayate's legs not working." Electra said as Shamal was using her Armored Device, a set of four rings named Klarwind, to make Cartridges. The Belken Magic system, which is more combat oriented, used 'Cartridges' to give spells a boost. "There isn't much we can do, but that 'Elixir' you gave her halted the progression of whatever is causing the problem. Where did you get it?" Shamal asked.

"can't tell you. There are rules that prevent me from share that kind of information." Electra said. "what are your titles?" Vita went first. "I am Vita, Knight of the Iron Hammer. My Device is Graf Eisen, a hammer." Shamal went next. "I am Shamal, Knight of the Lake. These rings are called Klarwind." Shamal said, "Signum, who's title is Knight of the Sword, uses a sword that can transform into a bow called Laevatein. She's currently giving Zafira, Guard Beast of the Shield, a 'walk'" Shamal was holding in a laugh as she explained this.

"I heard that." Zafira, a blue wolf like beast, said as he walked through the door with Signum, a woman with pink hair in a long ponytail, following, holding the lease. These were the four Wolkenritter (Cloud Knights) of the Book of Darkness (the device's true name). They were several centuries old and bound to the book. To Hayate, they were an odd but welcome family she never had before finding the book. "What brings you here?" Signum asked. Electra had found out they were mages, after a fashion, when she saw them drain animals to fill pages (there's 666 pages to fill in total). "She wanted to see what I look like when Storm Chorus is active." Electra guestures to Hayate who looked ready to jump out of her wheelchair in anticipation. "Of course, I do! I designed the Wolkenritter's Knight Clothing." Hayate said with pride.

"Storm Chorus, Set Up!" Electra said after she stood in the middle of the room. "it fits you quite well." Shamal complimented. "It would be better with wings." Hayate said thoughtfully looking her up and down critically. "Funny you should say that. Unfurl, Chaos Angel." Electra said, removing one of three limiters she had on the source of Chaos energy. The Feathered Cloak turned into six large wings on her back. "Tada!" Electra said amused and posed. They clap for her. "Your power shot up a fair amount." Shamal noted. "Can you explain the limiters?"

"Well, as you can see, I now have six wings instead of a cloak. When two limiters are released, I will have twelve wings. That's why it's called the 'Chaos Angel' System." Electra explained. "And what happens when the last limiter is removed?" Vita asked. "pray you aren't my target, for you will experience the full power of the Sword of Dawning Storms." Electra switches out her staff for said sword and the gauntlet. The four Wolkenritter froze as she drew it out. "What's wrong?" Hayate asked them. "That is a weapon that is highly likely more dangerous than anything the Belken empire ever made. In the right, or wrong, hands, it would destroy planets, at least." Signum said, eyes never leaving the WMMD (Weapon of Mass Magical Destruction).

When Electra put it away and deactivated her Device, they relaxed. "Why are you carrying around a weapon that likely came from El-Hazard?" Vita demanded, getting up in Electra's face. "And how hasn't it killed you?" Hayate looked at Vita sternly, making her back down. "Thank you, Hayate." Electra said. "To put it simply, my Device was made to mimic a Skill that lets me use the sword without dying a likely painful death." They grimace at the implication. They had no idea what its max output was, but it screamed danger. "I can show you something interesting if you want." Electra said.

"Really? Is it a summon like that Tonberry?" Hayate asked with a smile. The other day, Electra had showed her what the Judgement Bell summoned. She had taken by how cute the Tonberry looked, making him blush. "Even more adorable than Meteor Master (the name of the Tonberry she could summon)." Electra reached into her hair and pulled out a sleepy Rei, who yawned cutely. "Say hello, Rei." Electra said. Rei just waved and yawned again. "she's so cute!" Hayate said softly. "she was hiding in your hair the whole time?" Electra laughed and said "It's her favorite place to relax. I swear she made it into a sort of Bag of Holding." Rei looked at Hayate and cried out in alarm, fully awake now. "Yes, I noticed too. We're looking for a way to heal her as we speak." Electra reassured Rei, who, when put down, ran to the kitchen and forced an apple into Hayate's hand. Hayate tried to not giggle at the stern glare Rei was giving her but she was too adorable.

"This is Rei, a Spirit Guardian. She's demanding you eat more to keep your strength up." Electra said, happy that the mood was more lighthearted. "so, what can she do, besides being a cuddle buddy?" Vita asked as Hayate was gentle hugging Rei as she eat the apple. "She developed a 'sound bomb' attack that can blow your ear drums out at higher settings. She can do at least some damage with punches on unarmored foes." Electra said with a chuckle. The irony of Rei's main way of attacking wasn't lost to her. "she makes a wonderful cute animal mascot." Hayate said pleased with what Rei could do.

EL-Hazard

Voleta was sitting on a table, in her real form. Her real form was about a foot tall with a set of four vaguely wing shaped shimmering extensions on her back and a white mask with curling horns along the side. Alicia was eating a meal listening to Voleta talking of when she had observed in the many years she has existed. "why do you wear that mask?" Alicia asked. "your face is prettier without it." Voleta laughed a little before explaining. "This Mask is what gave me form. My normal looking form was just so I can use the computer better. Being one foot tall is not easy." Voleta said, getting a giggle from the young charge she was caring for.

"where did you get the mask then?" Alicia asked, reluctantly eating the weird tasting salad, after getting a stern look from Voleta. "As I was drifting in and out of realities, formless and nameless. I don't know for how long it was before I stumbled upon a Bug by the name Mask Maker." Alicia's eyes widened. "a bug? What kind? Were they big and scary?" She asked with childlike wonder. "They had a large body covered by a dark gray cloak and wear a mask. They used two limbs to make masks, like mine." Voleta said with a soft hidden smile.

"But why wear a mask?" Alicia asked. Voleta smiled and recited what the Mask Maker had said to her when she asked them that. "For this kingdom's faceless, I shall provide. A mask! A face! Does it need one? Does it not? To define. To focus. To exist." Alicia was confused at the odd quote. "It means that this Mask helps me define my existence. With it, I gained form, and after I ended up trapped in El-Hazard, a name." Voleta said in simpler terms. "Trapped?" Alicia asked. "Yes, Trapped. El-Hazard drew me in like flies to honey. I tried to leave, but I can't until it syncs up with 'the present'." Voleta said annoyed at being tricked by this place.

"But that's a good thing. If you weren't here, I'd never meet you or Mr. Tree!" Alicia said matter-of-factly. "That is true. I hope we can get back to the 'present' within a few months." Voleta said. "Because that means that Fate can be at your sixth birthday party." Alicia's face was sparkling at her levels of joy. "This has been the best six months ever!" Alicia said, giggling with joy.

"Surrender by order of the Time-Space Administrative Bureau. You are suspect to be an accomplice of the user of the Lost Logia (extremely dangerous artifacts that tend to be really old) 'Book of Darkness'." A black-haired teen in a black barrier jacket ordered, pointing a staff at Electra. With him was an auburn-haired girl in white and a blonde-haired girl in black. They both had Devices that had a Cartridge system integrated into them. "My, my, my, five against one? That doesn't seem fair." Electra said, with one limiter removed and wings curved ever so slightly to act as a shield. "May I have the names of my attackers?" Electra asked.

"Chrono Harlaown of the TSAB." The teen, looked to be 14 years old, said. "Fate Testarossa, Contract Mage of the TSAB." The yellow hair girl, looked to be 9 years old, said as she leveled an energy scythe blade at Electra. "Nanoha Takamachi, Contract Mage of the TSAB" The auburn haired, girl, looked to be the same age as Fate, said. "How did you know we were here?" A red-haired female, about 16, that appeared to be the human form of a familiar, based on her wolf-like features (ears tail and fangs), asked as she came out of hiding. "Alf this isn't the plan." A blonde-haired boy, about 9 years old, said as he dropped the cloaking force field he was using.

"Yuuno Scrya, Librarian of the Infinity Library. It's a pleasure to meet the one that gave Zelretch so much trouble when he was perusing for information in your collection." Electra said coolly. Yuuno's stance changed to very alert. "Nanoha. Plan's changed. We need avoid fighting her at all costs!" Yuuno yelled, his eyes looking at Electra's Device with fear. "What do you mean, we have her surrendered." Chrono demanded. "The man she named was looking at the information the Infinity Library has on Lost Logia, particularly ones that are made to handled SSS rank levels of Mana." Yuuno said quickly.

"What your bookworm friend is trying to say is that Storm Chorus was made to be compatible with a 'Lost Logia' of the plant-busting kind." Electra said. "Not that you need to risk that happening. I understand that you," Electra points her staff at Nanoha, "Were drained to fill pages. But you must take not of not being drained more than half the mana you had." Electra said calmly. "The Book of Darkness must be stopped, or this world will be lost." Chrono stated. Electra laughed. "Maybe if I hadn't intervened, the Defense Program would have gone on a rampage. But that's not the case anymore. As of a month ago, The Tome of The Night Sky (The book of Darkness's real name) has been Defragged and working as intended."

"That Lost Logia killed worlds because some bug?" Chrono demanded angrily. "Yes and, as I said, said bug is gone. Please stand down and let me leave." Electra said. All but Chrono did as she requested. With a shrug and sigh, Electra chanted "Lost Souls, who guards the stormy Eye, unlock the door." Her wings doubled to 12 total and she gain some armor pieces (metal Shoulder pads, armored boots and gauntlets.). "Last chance. Stand down and you won't be feeling my displeasure." Electra said. "Stand down." A teal haired woman ordered from Chrono's communicator (it projected so Electra could see who was talking.) "I am Lindy Harlaown, captain of the Administrative Bureau vessel Arthra." The woman stated.

"finally, someone to knock some common sense into him." Electra quickly adds, "No offence meant but he didn't listen when the Librarian informed them of what I can do if pushed hard enough." Lindy gave Chrono a quick glare before going full diplomatic. "Can you please elaborate on what you said?" She asked. "I can do you one better. I'm sending you the data I collected on the Tome of the Night Sky before and after I Defragged it. I redacted some information to protect the identity of the Tome's master." Electra said sanding the data packet to the ship. "I am willing to work out a deal to avoid needless deaths." Electra offered. "We will contact you in few days." Lindy said and Electra left.

On Board the Arthra (an Administrative Bureau investigative spaceship)

"This is impossible." Amy Limietta, a brown haired 16-year-old Communication Operator on the Arthra, said. She was looking at the data and getting frazzled. "I can't figure out what this" She points out an unintelligible line of data, "doesn't match any energy pattern on our records." Lindy looked that the graph on other screens and frowned. "This is not the first time I've seen this energy reading. It happened briefly during the Jewel Seed Incident." Lindy said. "When exactly?" Fate asked, remembering something from her time under the thumb of her abusive mother. "Just before Presea Testarossa activated the Jewel Seeds she had, vanishing. There was traces of this energy readings detected." Lindy said, having the reading from that on screen and compared it side by side.

"They are close enough but the more resent one is different." Yuuno said, before requesting the graph of Electra's energy to be brought up as well. "As I thought, she, or her Device, is the source of what 'fixed' the Lost Logia." Yuuno said, pointing out the common factors. "Her mana blends with the mana of her Lost Logia to make the energy that did the 'fixing', somehow." Nanoha looked at the graphs and timestamp of the one from the Jewel Seed Incident. "This one happened at the Garden of Time, right?" She asked. "Raising Heart, display the contents of the file labeled 'alien cat'." Raising Heart Exelion, her device's full name, was a white and pink staff capped with a red crystal orb and a partial gold ring around it. A gold rifle magazine was at the neck of the staff.

"At once, Master." Raising Heart said and projected photos of pink ears, a foot, and tail, just out of frame. "I was followed as I made my way through to Presea. This was all I could capture but I'm sure it was some pike floating cat that was following me." Nanoha explained. "A pink cat?" Yuuno asked. "There was a member of the Infinity Library that retired because he 'couldn't take any more harassment by that Pink Cat'." He explained with a shrug. "we have photos like the one you took, but we never got any closer to finding said intruder."

"Did he say anything about the cat?" Fate asked. "Only that it's a bundle of chaos that calls itself 'Mew' and was telepathic. This could be via spell or natural ability. The lack of data on the Subject makes answers scarce." Yuuno said recalling all the details he could. "I heard a female voice reassuring me thing would be better here and there when I was collecting the Jewel Seeds. She did say she was called Lady Mew." Fate said, "I'm not sure what her intentions were but she was nice."

Chrono, who had been silently working at his computer, sighed. "I believe I know who this 'Lady Mew' is." He said, bringing up an old EL-Hazard record that Yuuno had excavated near where he found the Jewel Seeds. "This record speaks of a being of chaos that exists out of this reality, who caused mischief after they created the Jewel Seeds." Chrono said. "This being became aware of El-Hazard because of the Jewel Seeds. And no, it is not a Lovecraftian entity that wants to eat your sanity."

"You mean the Pink Prankster isn't just a fairy tale?" Lindy asked. It was her favorite fairy tale growing up, even if Chrono, her son, didn't share the same sentiment. "I believe this 'Lady Mew' is the origin of the Fairy Tale. A creature that comes and goes as she pleases. No cage can hold her, nor can any wall stop her from getting somewhere." Chrono said as alarms blared, and an alert covered the screens. "Dimensional Quake incoming. Brace for impact!" Lindy ordered as the ship was rocked about. Down on Earth people fell a low-level worldwide earthquake that did little to no damage other than rattled nerves.

"What the hell was that?" Chrono asked as Amy got off him. They had a tumble with Amy falling on him, and Yuuno, Fate, and Nanoha getting tangled up together. "It's arrived!" Mew said as she came out of a portal and floated lazily. "You were talking about me, so I came party later." Yuuno bows slightly in greeting, saying, "It's nice to meet you, Lady Mew. May I ask what Happened to El-Hazard?"

Mew sighed and explained in a vague way. "Of all El-Hazard's feats, it was their attempt to breach the walls of reality and enter the realm of 'Time'. It ended badly." Mew shook her head sadly, "I warned them, after they created the Jewel Seeds and a revival machine, that they were treading on thin ice over an abyss. But they called some mean names, so I felt them to their fate." She ended with a huff, crossing her arms annoyed. "They could bring back the dead?" Fate asked with a hunger for answers. "At a Fair Price. A Soul for a Soul." Mew said as everyone had a look of horror at the implications.

"Dimensional Transfer Detected. Calculating Destination now." Amy said typing fast. In that Very room, a little girl, a 'fairy' landed roughly, as well as a tree in a floating pot (which was the only one that suck the landing because he never touched the ground.) "Note to self, practice Dimensional Transfer spell alone more before doing it with passengers." The 'fairy' said as she checked out the child. "Wake up Alicia. We are at Earth, I think." Alicia groaned and stood and shaky legs. "Voleta, is Mr. Tree ok?"

"Yes, he's completely unharmed but is annoyed at the rough chain of Jumps we had to take." Voleta said as Mr. Tree did his version of an annoyed huff (A feeling of Annoyance directed at Voleta, followed by a feeling that could be translated as 'don't do that again'). "It's the White Devil!" Alicia said and tackle-hugs Nanoha, was grimacing internally at that ridiculous title the TSAB gave her as her face was completely bewildered looking. Fate, who's title was the Black Angel, was torn between laughing at Nanoha's expression and crying at see her Sister/DNA Donor alive and before her. "are you Fate's sister?" Nanoha asked, trying to free her arms from the hug she was in.

Alicia beamed at her and said. "Yep! I've been waiting months to see you and Fate. Can you show me your Starlight Breaker? It looked so cool in the memories I got from Mother." Alicia looks a little sad and starts to apologize but Voleta stopped her. "Alicia! It's not your fault. We've been over this multiple times. The sins of the Father are not the son's burden to bear." Voleta said, then looks around. "Did I miss Earth?" Fate stepped forward and said, "Thank you for helping her." Voleta waved it off. "my creator would have done the same."

"You are on a ship in orbit of the planet." Lindy said. "May I ask what you are?" Voleta, looking proud, said "I am a spirit of Chaos and can function like a 'Unison Device' for compatible individuals." Alicia had tackle-hugged Fate in that moment and was telling all about how nice Voleta was. "so that what that vision meant." Mew said as she looked Voleta up and down. "A being composed of Dream, Chaos, and Void. How did you come to be?" Mew asked. "Chaos made a 'Dream' in void outside of time and it was 'hatched', making me." Voleta stated. Mew nodded in understanding, even as it went over the human's heads.

"I'm not even going to try to figure that out." Amy said. "She is as confusing as the energy readings are." Mew giggled. "Of course, she is. I created the stone that Sparky used in the weapon she carries, long ago. In a way, Voleta is my descendant." Mew said hugging Voleta. "A weapon?" Lindy asked. "I suspect it's the Lost Logia that her device was made to contain." Yunno stated. "That's right, Book Slinky." Mew said. "he can turn into a ferret and is a librarian." Fate mutters, getting the nickname.

"Happy early birthday!" Mew said throwing confetti. "But it's three days away." Alicia said. "That's why I said 'Early' birthday, silly." Mew said. "Using the energy of the dimensional quake to power the Transfer spell was a smart idea." Mew said to the soon to be 6-year-old. "That is reckless." Chrono interjected. "They are lucky to be alive if they really tried that." Voleta, who was annoyed, rattled off an equation that make that idea possible and somewhat safe. "That makes no sense at all. Some of the variables are too imprecise to work." Chrono retorted. "Well Duh, Chaos magic isn't nice and Orderly." Voleta snarked.

"The view up here is amazing, don't you think?" Electra said as she and Voleta watched the starry sky on a rather large cloud. "It reminds me of the vastness I traveled formless." Voleta said, "I was looking for you, even if it was a century too early." Electra just smiled. "56 of those years was spent on El-Hazard trying to fix that last flop that made a whole planet 'lost'." She paused then added, "That and talking to a tree to stay 'sane', well, as sane as a spirit of chaos gets." Electra pats her on the head with a finger and says, "Rei couldn't be happier to have 'Mr. Tree' around." Voleta blushes at the praise she was getting. "I just followed my heart, even if it took me so long to find you."

An annoyed yowl of a whine from inside the cloud ruined the moment. "That's nice and all, but could you let us go, or at least turn us over to the TSAB?" Lotte Liese, one of the cat familiars of Admiral Gil Graham of the TSAB, requested as she knocked on the cloud cage inner wall. "give it a rest, Lotte. She isn't letting us out nor wall she let us use magic to get out." Aria Liese, the calmer of the two. Her bristled tail was lashing about, and cat ears were pressed down, a sign of her mental state.

"I'm not the Darwin Award nominees that planned to provoke two Lost Logia users for some plan from your Master." Voleta commented smugly. "Master didn't plan for you to get involved, just oh gods. He planned to seal a child away." Aria said as the implications of their master's plan to freeze Both the Lost Logia and its current master in an ice-based sealing spell called 'Eternal Coffin'. "He didn't share that detail with you, did he?" Electra asked. "He alluded to it, but he is our master. Familiars are loyal to their master, no matter how bad they are." Aria said sorrowfully.

"No cost too great. No mind to think. No will to break. No voice to cry suffering. Born of God and Void." Electra quoted, sending a shiver down her captives' spines. "That was the reasoning the Pale King gave as he made 'soulless' weapons to combat a fading goddess." Electra explained. "now compare that attitude to your master. See that resemblance?" Lotte's silence was more than enough of an answer. "With some luck, Gil Graham will be asked to retire because the lack of deaths this scheme would have caused. This hinges on two things, your testimony and proof that no one died." Electra told them.

"you are going to help us?" Aria asked a little shocked. "Even if I wanted to try out the full power of my Device, I can't let someone's life ruined because of a revenge plot gone wrong." Electra said. "This way, Hayate will at least have some happy memories about him that aren't completely tainted by betrayal." Lotte realized that no one was coming out of houses below, even with all the whining she did. "This cage, Storm Blockade, isolates anything captured from the rest of the world. You cannot use magic or force to escape it. The only reason we are talking is because I've been transmitting the words like telephone." Electra answered the unsaid question.

"There has to be a weakness to the spell." Aria puzzled out loud. The conclusion she came to, was logical, based on her knowledge of magic. "You need to be in contact with the structure to maintain it. And it must be a mana heavy barrier spell, given it blocks even telepathy a familiar share with its master." Aria said as she tapped on the walls, which were firm yet fluffy. "There seems to be a current running through the walls to keep more rowdy prisoners." She observes, noting the dark color of the cloud. "well down. You got the broad strokes of the spell right. There are some lethal components to it, but I'll keep those details to myself." Electra said.

The ruined Gaunt Family shack

"Nasty little thing to hide." Electra comments, nudging an innocent looking ring with a black stone set in the band. "A death by rotting curse and compassion to put on the ring is a nasty combo. "Yes, you mortals have become quite creative with how you kill each other." A gaunt skeletal being clocked in black said, as he appeared behind her. "Are you the stranger that is a friend of the family?" Electra asked. "in a way, yes, you could use that to describe me." The Stranger's voice was smooth and inviting. "I have been watching you for the past two days. Are you the one that cured Zelretch of his curse?" Electra was thankful she made Rei stay with Voleta and Wallace at the hotel.

"It was my Papa that cured that Trickster." Electra answered, pondering how to pick up the ring without getting cursed. The Stanger laughed a laugh that put the souls bound to this shack to rest. "To think I would find one with such promise." He smiled, more to himself than for her benefit. "Would you be interested in doing some tasks for me?" He asked with a purr to his voice. "What are your terms, Death?" Electra asked. Death's smile widened as she said his name. "there are issues that need to be silenced. You may use whatever means you want." Death showed her a scroll with a list of 'issues' to be solved.

"I'll be nice and remove the traps on the ring for you as a show of faith." Death said tapping the ring with a bony finger. As his finger pulled away, a broken shard of soul was dragged out. "Is that's the wrongness I sensed? Who would rip their soul of like this?" Electra said, trying not to gag at the foul feeling the soul fragment gave off. It was worse than anything she felt. "You could call the ring a Horcrux or to some, a phylactery, in other words, a Soul Anchor. Well, a former Horcrux at this point." Death said with extreme disgust. "There is a Lich out in the world at this very moment?" Electra said equally repulsed at the idea of doing something at vile, just to live 'forever'.

"This is just one of a handful of Horcruxes that you need to hunt down, unfortunately." Death said, "I'd say there is four or five more, other than the main portion of blackened soul. But that is just one issue on the list." Death said, crushing the fragmented soul, vanishing it to its fate. The air felt 'cleaner' now that the source of Wrongness was gone. He points to an item on the list had the red line through it already. "Seeing as you were attacked by Fenrir Grayback yesterday and dealt with him swiftly, I will reward you with this." Death says presenting a severed skeletal arm and right hand made of a bone white Yew wood.

"This ticket and remove the soul fragment and anything planted to protect said fragment." Death said. "Can I call it the 'Right Hand of Death'?" Electra asked, half joking. "Call it what you want. It is yours to use until the last of the soul fragments are collected. Make sure to save the last unknowing one for last." Death said as he faded like a whisper in the wind. Electra looked at the tool she was given and marveled at the craftmanship. Death made it as realistic as possible. The fingers were set in grabbing motion. She put the ring in a small bag. The scroll was just hanging in the air for her to take, so she grabbed it and left the ruined shack.

The Room Electra rented

"This 'issue' list is odd to say the least." Electra muttered. "I'll say! Some of those 'issues' have been going on for centuries." The mirror on the vanity chipped in, it had female voice. "Any idea how to get Gringotts Wizarding Bank to let me get an item from a vault without a key?" Electra asked, she had been told that the mirror couldn't tell any secret it overheard even if it wanted to. "Honey, I've been here when it was manned by Daisy Dodderidge, in the 1500s. If there is anything that will get those goblins willing to part with treasure, it's better treasure. Besides, they don't like something as vile as 'that' in their bank." The Mirror says then making a thinking sound. "I believe it's some warrior code they have. A past renter ranted at me for hours about that a hundread years ago. Never cheat them or you could lose your head."

Electra heeded the warning and looked at Rei and Voleta sleeping on the bed with Wallace by the door, sitting in a silent vigil. "Get some rest, honey. It's two in the morning." The Mirror said. Electra sighed and got dressed in a night gown. "Honey, you must be the envy of the family with a healthy figure like that." The Mirror compliment Electra. Electra had developed a figure a little bigger than her mother's. "That would be my sister. She has a figure that turns all the heads. Luckily, her husband has her whole heart." Electra said modestly. "A faithful husband? She is lucky, some of the witches get the short end of the stick, even in 1992 (the current date of this world)." Mirror said as Electra slipped under the covers and let sleep take her.

"Anything in the Daily Profit, Tom?" Electra asked as she sat at the bar. Tom, a bald man with a lack of teeth in his mouth, was the landlord of the pub. "Grayback is dead!" Tom said showing her the morning edition of the UK wizarding world's government run newspaper. The front page was dominated by 5-page article about Fenrir Grayback and his history. The picture showed Electra accepting the sack of reward money for his bounty. "two thousand galleons (That's roughly 14,000 US Dollars) is a lot of money for one person. Why was his bounty so high?" Electra asked as people dragged themselves in for breakfast of some drink to wake them up, some preferred spirits over tea or coffee.

"He was one of the nastiest werewolves ever to terrorize the Magical World. Not as bad as King Lycaon of Arcadia, but you get the idea." Tom said. "Hard to be worse than the first Werewolf." Electra agreed, "Other than running with the enemy in the Wizarding War, what else did he do?" People were muttering, staring and pointing at her as Tom composed himself. "It how he spread terror that got his that price on his head. His favorite targets were children. Be it as a man or a beast, he loved to attack them. Spreading the curse or killing them, it didn't matter to him."

"There goes any doubt I had in how I killed him." Electra said with a hard look in her eyes. "And how did'ya do that? You look too young to kill a werewolf on the night of a full moon." A scared-up blonde brown-haired man, with chucks of flesh missing, asked as he walked up to her. His peg leg and cane thumping as an electric blue magical eye zoomed about in the socket. "This is Alastor Moody, a retire Auror and one of the best when it comes to capturing Dark Wizards." Tom praised. "Looks like it took its toll on you." Electra said respectfully. Alastor laughed. "That it did. Constant Vigilance!" He stated. She detected a little Scottish lilt to his voice as his normal dark eye drilled into hers.

"Now, how did you do what some many others failed?" He asked, with a harsh edge to his 'request'. "Lightning. He attacked me on an open field and the drugged needle if was throwing at him made him the highest and easiest target of the lightning storm." Electra answered. "What kind of drugs? Sleeping, poison, or venom?" Mad Eye Moody, a title he earned for being paranoid and his crazy eye, demanded. "A cocktail that normally paralyzes the limbs without killing the subject." Electra said. "You intended to capture him. What went wrong?" Moody quizzed. "Werewolves are much harder to drug than a human. After a dozen senbon in each of his limbs and it only slowing him down, I switched from capture to kill. One bolt later and he was cooked. He turned back into a human bas he died because the sun was rising."

"Good planning, lass. You burst his heart with that lightning strike. Impressive bit of magic but not easy to cast on the fly, unless it's your specialty." Moody praised. "Now, Albus sent me to invite you to visit Hogwarts this school year. That's in a few weeks. Here's his letter. Good Luck on your future hunts." Moody says handing her a wax sealed letter and thumping away to the back alloy, to visit Diagon Alley. The next hour was her getting praises, signing stuff, shaking hands, and getting gifts from the people in the bar.

Electra walked up to a teller and asked, "I wish to ask about an item in your bank that might be against your policy." She saw this goblin teller was called Gornuk. He looked down at her from the gems he was sorting. "and what object is that?" He asked almost snidely but hidden behind cold politeness. "It has to do with a spell made by Herpo the Foul." Gornuk snarled as he had her escorted to a private meeting room.

"Gornuk tells me that you believe someone got a Horcrux into one of the vaults were guard?" A Goblin named Griphook stated as guards held her at spear point. "Yes, I have proof." She Shows them the list of 'issues' and The Right Hand of Death. "I see. We will sell that item to you for a fair price. Gringotts cares not for items that sabotage the soul." Griphook said signaling for the guards to let her go.

"Thank you for your business. Please be sure to include us in how you found a Founder's object." Griphook said as Electra left with the, now cleansed, Helga Hufflepuff's Cup in her possession. She had to trade rare gems and promise to give them some of the credit of the find for them to part ways with the cup. "I swore on the Styx. I'd rather die than break that vow." Electra told him with a bow. Griphook wasn't sneering anymore, but he wasn't smiling ether. It was better than what she expected. With that she had two Horcroxes dealt with. She also had a vault with the highest security available set of for her family, at the request of Zelretch, all she need to do was finalize it.

Flourish and Blotts Bookseller

Electra was trying to see what the big deal was at the bookstore but was dragged into a photo op with pompous grinning blonde liar named Gilderoy Lockhart. As he forced her to pause as the camera flashed, a whining hum was heard and the fool yelped, a rather girly sounding one at that, as a current of electricity numbed his arm. "Please ask before dragging me into a photo op." Electra said. He shook his arm to regain feeling in it. "I'm sorry. I was caught up in the crowd." The Fool said. He had her a complete signed set of his book, free of charge.

She walked away, passing a family of gingers and a dark-haired, glasses wearing, boy, around 12 years old, as she got away from the crowd of the Fool's fans. She stops and turns to the boy. On his head was a lightning bolt scar. "It seems you were spared having to be forced in the spotlight. May I ask your name?" Electra asked. "Harry Potter" He said shocked. "Ah, the unlucky survivor of a tragedy. Along with those books," She gives him the signed books she was given, "I give you some advice. To Paraphrase the words of the one who the word Assassin honors, 'the one who cannot die - cannot be said to have ever lived.'" Electra leave them stunned as a silver blonde man with a snake head cane watched her like a hawk.

The man came down the stairs and said, "Well, I'm surprised she knew about Hassan-i-Sabbah, The Old Man of the Mountain. Draco, I expect you to research that topic when we get home." He said sharply at his son who hair slick back hair of the same color and was about Harry's age. "Yes Father." Draco said. "I suggest you read the book entitled 'Shadows, Known and Unknown', Potter." Draco's father says as he slips something into the youngest ginger hired member's cauldron.

"That book is for Sixth years at least." The father of the gingers says. "Lucius, why would you recommend someone so young read it?" The man, Lucius, arched brow at the ginger and said, "Arthur Weasley, I didn't notice your family was here. It's crowded enough to him even your brood." Lucius' veiled comment was noticed as Arthur's fists were clenched to the point his knuckles were white. "as for why, you should know that book has excellent information for someone that wishes to avoid getting offed because they step on the wrong toe." Arthur had enough and started bout of fisticuffs.

Eeylops Owl Emporium

Electra looked around the dark shop, trying to find the right owl to replace the pet 'rat' she sent Voleta to catch. Most of the owls were picky about the owners they got. Then she found a Screech Owl or at least it looked like one, but it was 'off', not in a bad way. "What's with this one?" She asked the employee of the shop. "That one? It is a Screech Owl, at least half screech owl, but the sire wasn't an owl." The employee said looking at her records. "We're tried contacting the supplier of the egg, but he doesn't know ether. No one want's him, so we lowered the price to 10 gallons instead of 15."

Electra offered and arm and the odd screech owl picked the lock of his cage and flew to her arm. His talons gripped her arm hard enough to almost hurt. At a simple command he spread his wings. The feathers looked almost like a phoenix. It also explained the beak being more hook-like than normal. "You are a proud specimen. All most as handsome as a Fire Bird." Electra crooned, trailing her fingers over his breast feathers. The half owl hooted with pride, to be compared to a royal bird like that was high praise.

"I'll buy him and any needed supplies." Electra says putting 15 galleons on the counter. "thank for business." The employee says ring her up and giving her the sickle change. (One gold galleon = 17 silver Sickles, and 1 Silver Sickle = 29 Bronze Knots.) "I Name you, Night Watch. May you watch over your family vigilantly." Electra said. The newly Named owl had a soft glow about him then it faded. Electra let Night Watch enter his new cage and lock it up. "He is the second smartest owl we had." The Employee says, "The female Snowy Owl who's smarter, only because she is older by a year, was bought by Hagrid, the Groundskeeper at Hogwarts." Night Watch had an almost hopeful look in his eyes. "Night Watch was always chatting up that Snowy." The Employee told her with a soft laugh.

The Burrow

"We're sorry about your rat, Ronikins." The twins, Fred and George both 14 years old, said in twin speech. "We are sure he'll turn up or a new pet with come knocking." Molly, their mother, a woman with meat on her bones, throw a wooden spoon that bounced off the twins' heads perfectly before summoning it back to her hand. "Boys! Don't make light of Ron!" She shrieked in a way only a mother could. "You've had Scabbers in the family for years, Ron. He must have got lost and wondered off." Harry said, trying to be nice. He was staying her for the rest of the summer after his relatives put bars on his window and locked his door on the outside.

Ginny, 11 years old, the youngest Weasley and only daughter, heard a knock and opened the top half of the door. "Mom! It's Electra Laskaris." Ginny squealed and ran up stair to get something for Electra to sign. "What brings you here?" Arthur asked just about to read the morning paper. "I am here because I noticed the owl you were using was needed to be retired so I am willing to trade Errol of a new owl I Named Night Watch." Electra said as Arthur opened the lower half of the door to let her in. "It's not a charity. It's a trade." She cut them off.

"Not having Errol crash land in the food would be nice." Percy, 16 years old, said. "As long as it is a smaller breed." Molly relented. "Wallace you can bring in the cage." Electra yelled out the door. They, save Arthur, stared as Wallace as he enters the house. "He as big as Hagrid." Ron said in awe. "close but Hagrid has smaller eyes and looks friendlier than this guy." Percy said. "Ah, Wallace, good to see you." Arthur offers a hand to shake and Wallace's hand dwarfed his completely. "This Wallace, some kind of Golem bodyguard Electra employees." Arthur introduces.

"a golem?" Ginny asked. "I was made to serve Lady Electra." Wallace states, setting Night Watch's cage on the table carefully. "Don't mind his lack of words, that's his normal." Arthur says as Wallace started unpacking the owl care supplies. "So, the opposite of Hagrid." Ron joked. Harry laughed, knowing how easy it was to make Hagrid spill the bean, in a manner of speaking. "Blimey! That is an amazing screech owl." Ron marveled. "Isn't he a little big for a screech owl?" Percy, hearing Ron's question, looked at Night Watch and said, "must be a mixed breed. The features aren't totally a screech owl."

"his sire is unknown, but he is smart as a whip and stronger than an eagle owl." Electra praised. "All for almost 15 galleons, with the supplies. A fair trade for your owl." Molly sighed in defeat. "Ron Night Watch is your new pet if Scabbers does turn up." She said. She then gave Wallace a cage with Errol, a clumsy barn owl, in it. "Hello there." Electra said to owl. Errol looked at her lopsidedly and hooted a tired greeting. "Don't worry about delivering mail. I can tell you are ready for retirement." She opens the cage and Errol perches on her arm.

"Bloody Hell! Where did you get all those scars?" Ron asked, seeing her bare arms. "Years of adventuring and training. Not a single wound was done by a werewolf." Electra said, amused and proud. The kids were captivated. "aren't you a little young to be galivanting in the wide world?" Molly asked. "I am going to be sixteen soon and trained all my life, which is allowed according to my Clan Charter." Electra said. Molly backed off as Ron explained what it meant to Harry. "Basically, that rule book takes higher priority over other laws in some cases in the court of law. No idea how it works but that's what dad taught us."

"Um, I read the book 'Shadows, Known and Unknown' and found a member of your family in it. A 'Iain Laskaris'. Did you know him?" Harry asked. "ah, Brother Iain was a, complicated man. I can't tell you the details, but he assassinated a number of people to prevent Grindelwald's forces from winning that war. He never got to stand on a stage and get a medal because of the nature of his contribution to the war effort. He settled down and had a family somewhere." Electra said, keeping it PG as she could, Molly looked grateful. Ginny thrust a black journal and asked her, "Something is wrong with this! It talks back and requested me to show you it by name." Electra takes the book as Arthur and Molly looked white as a sheet.

"It's not evil." Anymore, Electra adds mentally. This book was a former Horcrox that Voleta had screwed with after cleansing it. "It'd say it's a chaotic prank that's harmless save for mild insults and/or embarrassment." Electra said as the journal blow a raspberry at her with a paper tongue. Ginny's parents calm down. "The Monster Book of Monsters is much more dangerous." Electra quipped. "who would slip something like that in my stuff?" Ginny asked. "who knows, it seems to like you." Electra says as the book bounces over the table and into Ginny's lap. "o' Brother of mine." Fred said, in a mock grave voice, "I believe we were out pranked by someone. You know what this calls for!" George, in the same voice, said, "Research, then Trial and Error. This injustice will not stand." Molly was feeling the headache already.

"MERLIN'S BEARD! Azkaban and most of the inhabitants on the island were obliterated!" Arthur exclaimed, staring at the front-page headline. "Even the Dementors were killed." He added, shocked. "What?" Harry asked. "Azkaban was a dark wizard fortress that was turned into a prison that employed soul eating beings that are said to be impossible to kill." Electra explained. "Any word on who survived?" She asked Arthur. "The human guards and a few of the prisoners somehow survived the blast. They are being interrogated with the highest truth serum available to get the bottom of this mess." Artur states, scanning the article.

"It looks like there's a vortex where the island was." Ron said looking at the aftermath photo. "Must have been Dark Magic or Something." Arthur paused as he read a line at the end of the article, stating, "Or something is right. The Unspeakables are taking over the investigation of the site. Remember children, Unspeakables deal with things that are 'dangerous'." He warned vaguely. Electra sat down and Errol hopped to her shoulder and started to mess with her hair. "Eat up, we have plenty of you too." Molly said, giving her a bowl of porridge.

"Thank you, Molly." Electra said humming in delight at the food. "Nothing is better than a home cooked meal made with love." This got a chuckle from Arthur, who folded up the paper and set it aside. "Quite right. Now, you know about muggle (a rude way of saying someone is non-magical but not as bad as some of the other ways to describe them.) stuff, right? What is the purpose of a Rubber Duck?" He asked. Electra explained it was first used as a solid rubber chew toy before a hollow floatable version was made to teach kids baths could be fun. Arthur nodded drinking in the information. He had a lot of questions that she happily answered about 'muggle stuff'.

Borgin and Burkes

Electa entered the 'questionable' shop in the 'shadier' shopping alley. Diagon Alley had a lot of things, but if you wanted something that was 'dark', you needed to go to Knockturn Alley. She was wearing a Black Cloak (The one Organization XIII wore) and had her face hidden by a blank mask. Mr Borgin, the shop keep, could smell deal as soon as he saw her enter. "Welcome. What interests you?" He asked with a nod of the head. His greasy hair glistened in the candlelight. "I am looking for a particular item you might have tucked away." Electra said in an altered voice. "Of course. I strive to serve if you have the coin." Mr Borgin said. "I heard you have a spool of thread made from a Lethifold. I am willing to take it of your hands." Electra said. Lethifold were living shrouds that suffocated you as you slept then ate you. Mainly lived in the tropics and could be repealed with the Patornus Spell, a spell of silver mist powered by happy thoughts. Mr. Borgin narrowed his eyes. "Are you aware of the size of it? It's not a small spool you could hold in your fist. It's the size of a half giant and has miles of 'thread'. It won't come cheap." He says as Electra drops a ultra-rare book one of his other clients was looking for. He shut up and looked from the book to her masked face.

"This is worth more than what you requested. Are you interested in buying anything else?" Mr. Borgin asked, month dry as his mind raced. "That pearl necklace, it has a death curse on it, correct?" Electra asked. "Yes. It's claimed 19 muggles lives before it was sold to me. It's 1500 galleons." Mr. Borgin said. Electra places two more books, the complete set, and pointed out a cabinet and other stuff she wanted. Even after buying dozens of objects from his shop, he was the one making a profit. The books were one of the 5 copies made on how to summon elemental forces. The first book detailed the basics. The second was how to keep yourself from being killed by said summoned being and the third but most important was how to summon said beings.

"I won't ask how you got books like this. Nor will I ask what your plans are." Mr. Borgin said as Electra took her purchases in a bottomless bag. "Good. I wouldn't tell you anyways." Electra said. "Make sure to charge the max value when you sell those books." She leaves as Mr. Borgin grins madly. He had to letter to send and a killer profit to make. He had been trying to sell that giant spool for decades.

Somewhere in the woods

Electra took out the massive spool of 'Lethifold thread' and began to chant and dance around it with her full shaman attire on. Wallace was making sure no one stopped her task. An 11-year-old blonde girl with a dreamy expression on her face came from the woods and asked him, "What is she doing?" Wallace looked at the girl and her butter beer cork necklace and Dirigible plum-shaped earrings (small radish looking fruits that are magical). "She is making the 'thread' useable. It is 'too wild' in its current state." He answered. "What's your name? I'm Luna Lovegood." The girl said. "I am Wallace." Wallace said.

"Do you read the Quibbler?" Luna asked. "What is that?" Wallace asked flatly. "A magazine my daddy runs." Luna said. "He's looking for leads on the Crumple-Horned Snorkack." Wallace looks at her fully. "how do you know about that creature?" He asks intently. It was one of the things that Electra had created by mistake using chaos energy. It was a purple scaled creature with a large hump and a crystalline horn. Luna's eyes lit up. "You've seen it?" She asked. "My Lady knows of its existence. Where is lives, not so much. Such is its nature to hide. I do know it can change its size and it's horn can glow like a firefly." Wallace said as the air was charged with an unearthly feeling.

"Stay close to me or the results will be unpleasant." Wallace said as the 'thread' 'argued' with Electra, who chanted and dances harder. Luna watched on as the clear was filled with spirits that aided Electra to force the 'thread' to obey. "The Storm Singer." Luna said breathlessly as the image of Electra's Thunderbird form appeared behind her. "The one that all thunderbirds bow down to." Luna whispered. (in this universe the thunderbird was a giant bird with multiple wings. Electra's form is basically the 'boss' of them because of her heritage. It will be explained later.) As Electra finished, the 'thread' seemed 'less dangerous' somehow. "Excuse me, but would you do an interview?" Luna asked her, taking out a parchment and a self-inking quill.

Electra nodded and started to weave the 'thread'. Luna asked questions about being a shaman and what not. When she asked about the Crumple-Horned Snorkack, Electra gave a very details description of the creature. An hour later, Luna practically skipped back to her home, sometimes called 'The Rookery' because it being shaped like a rook chess piece, with an article to edit.

On board the Hogwarts Express

Somewhere in the Highlands of Scotland

Electra sat in one of the booths on the train to Hogwarts with the rest of the students, as the letter said to do. It had left Platform 9 ¾ at King's Crossing. The Platform was hidden in a brick wall. She looked under her seat to find a toad. "what are you doing here?" she asked him. "to find you." He croaked. He said his name was Trevor and they chatted the train ride. Wallace was silently watching, and Rei was sleeping in her hair again.

There was a knock on the door as the train neared the Hogsmeade Village station. Wallace opened the door and a black-haired boy, around 12 years old, stammered, "have you seen a toad?" Electra smiled and said, "Neville Longbottom, right? Trevor has told me much about you." She gave the stunned boy his pet toad and he walked back to his booth, clutching his pet. "he's got quite the green thumb." She says with a smile. "Yes, and a proud spirit that will shine when it's needed." Wallace states.

An hour later

The grounds outside of the castle

"Behave You, grumpy tree!" Electra said as she tended to the giant tree known as the Whomping Willow. "Just because a feral magical car crashes into you, doesn't mean you throw a hissy fit when it runs away." Electra said. as soon as she had gotten to Hogwarts, Arthur's Ford Anglia, that he made magical, had decided to go feral out of nowhere, the same day Votela had stolen the 'rat', and flew off. Just yesterday it 'attacked' the Willow, which attacks anything that gets too close, and fled into the Forbidden Forest. Electra missing the welcoming feast to tend to it.

Electra was perched on a breach mending a 'bleeding' gash in the trunk. Rei was helping in her own way, talking to the Willow about her mother. "Just a little more and you will be back to full health." Electra said collecting the sap that 'bled' out. The Tree shivered as the last 'wound' healed via her magic. "There. You can get beck to bashing things and I can go eat." Electra said as she and Rei jump down to the ground. Professor Pomona Sprout was a squat little witch with short, grey, wavy hair and wore a patchy hat. Her clothes were caked with soil, but she was a proud gardener Herbology teacher.

"That was the most amazing bit of healing I've seen done to that tree." Professor Sprout said as she had been overseeing Electra's work. "how did this little dear not get smashed?" She asked referring to Rei. "Rei is a special kind of 'seed'. Think of her as plant royalty." Electra said as they walked to the castle.

"I trust the tree is in good health." Headmaster Albus Dumbledore, an elderly looking wizard with a long beard and halfmoon spectacles, said as Electra put food on her plate. "That brat of a tree is fine. As long as the Feral car doesn't fight it again." Electra commented. The teachers sitting at the head table look at her confused. "A feral car?" Potions master Severus Snape, a hooked nosed man with greasy back hair and a snide look on his face, asked. "Yes. A being of chaos turned a book and the Weasley family car into living creatures, for kicks." Electra stated. "how lovely. And where is this book creature?" Snape said in the same snide drawl. "In Ginny Weasley's trunk. It's claimed her as it's human, like a cat would." Electra said as she puts some of her food into a small brazier with a prayer.

"what are you doing?" Deputy Headmistress and Transfiguration teacher, Minerva McGonagall, asked. She was a stern looking woman with a Scottish accent. "I believe she is offering food to the gods. A Greek Tradition." Albus said with a knowing twinkle in his eyes. "Really? How odd." That fool Lockhart commented. He was hired as the 'Defense Against the Dark Arts' Teacher and was already grating on everyone's nerves. "I find it fascinating." Albus said. as the flames released the wonderful smell of food, instead of ashes.

Lockhart fell face first into his mash potatoes after he started to say something rude without thinking. There was a senbon in his arm and Electra was smiling. "It's just a sleeping drug." She comments. "Deadly Nightshades based?" Snape asked. "just a touch of it. Real useful shutting people up." Electra answered. The teachers acted like she hadn't just drugged a teacher in view of the whole school.

Albus stood up and said, "one last late announcement to make." He had a regretful tone. "Electra Laskaris will be teaching this year in a class for all years. It will be about the creature know as 'pokemon' who exist in a world parallel to ours. It is a rare chance as She is the only one that has crossed over to that place before." The students started to mutter. For years, the wizarding world had been treated to 'windows' into the Pokemon verse. These windows appeared at random and lasted anywhere from an hour to weeks. Made keeping magic a secret harder as they appeared everywhere.

"What sort of world is it?" Madam Poppy Pomfrey, the matron of the school, asked. "Oh, you know, diverse life and humans dealing with it." Electra said, "I am the foremost expert on pokemon and have the research to prove it." Rolanda Hooch, the flying instructor looked at her closer and said, "You were that girl scaling the mountain!" Electra smirked. "And I scaled it to the top. One of the harder climbs I did." Hooch snorted at this. "From what I saw, you almost fell a few times in the five minutes the window was open." She comments. "let's see you scale a near vertical surface with gale force winds and a thunderstorm raging." Electra counters.

"I can already tell you will be trouble." Madam Pomfrey said with a sigh. "Trouble finds us." Electra countered with a smile. "When did the windows start appearing?" Electra asked. "Just after the Dark Lord was defeated by Potter." Snape said, spitting out Harry's last name like a curse. "It was a nightmare for the Ministry of Magic to handle along with the craziness after the war." Snape had a distinct look on his face, remembering something private. "As far as we can tell, it's a permanent feature now and the Muggles know about them. There is no point in erasing memories if they will just find out elsewhere." He says then adds in an off-hand voice, "It worked with the Platypus."

"What is that?" Ron asked, his and Ron's bushy haired book smart friend, Hermione Granger. "It's a cat, Ron." She had a large orange cat with a squished face in her lap by the fireplace. "This is Crookshanks, I found him and just had to adopt him." Hermione said petting the cat, who Harry swear he's seen before. It nagged at his mind like a distant memory. Crookshanks looked at him and meowed in a greeting saved for an old friend. A memory of his mother, Lily Potter, with much younger version of this cat surfaced hazily. (This a cannon fact. Crookshanks was Lily's cat before her death.)

"You were my mother's cat." Harry told the cat who yawned with a cattish smile as if to say, 'Took you long enough'. "I had no idea." Hermione was about to offer to let Harry adopt the cat when Crookshanks whipped her with his bottlebrush tail. "Mione, he wants to stay with you. Besides, I have Hedwig." Harry said. "Keep her safe, Crookshanks." Harry says to the cat who nods.

After midnight

Hogwarts

Seventh Floor corridor

"Ok, I pace the stretch of wall, requesting the room of hidden things." Electra said doing so. The blank stone wall was opposite a tapestry of Barnabas the Barmy trying to teach trolls ballet. The Gray Lady, the house ghost of Ravenclaw and daughter of that house founder, had been willing to share the location of the room the horcrux was hidden. It was called The Room of Requirement, if you had an issue, the room most likely gave you a solution. As she completed the last pass, a door appeared.

Room of Requirement

room of hidden things

the room was much bigger than a football stadium and piles of stuff towered to a non-existent ceiling. Electra looked at the messy space and her eye twitched with hidden annoyance and rage. "Lovely! This will be like finding a needle in a haystack." She got interrupted by the Right Hand of Death pointing like a compass. "Jackpot!" She said as it pointed to the target. An hour later, she found a bust wearing the lost diadem of Ravenclaw. Rowena Ravenclaw had said 'Wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure'. This silver band with an oval sapphire in the front could enhance one's wisdom. Now that it was cleansed, it would be added to the other Founder Items that she 'found'. Now she needed to find was Slytherin's Locket, and cleanse it too.

She looked around the room and mused what to do with this mess. Her sense of adventure demanded she 'sorts' the mess and reap the rewards. She glared at a black tome entitled 'Secrets of the Darkest Arts' on a nearby pile. That piece of filth was going to be destroyed after telling Dumbledore about it. It detailed how to make a horcrux among other things that were so vile, one could say it was the 'True Dark Magic'.

The next day

Hogwarts

Headmaster's Office

"you wanted to talk to me, Headmaster." Electra said as Snape and other house teachers were standing in the room with Albus, who was seated on his throne like chair behind his heavy wooden desk. Head of Slytherin was Snape, the head of Hufflepuff, was Sprout, and the head of Gryffindor was McGonagall. The Head of Ravenclaw had been absent from the opening fest because of some issues. Filius Flitwick was a part goblin wizard of short stature and the Charms Master of the school.

"You seem to know a lot about questionable subjects and a being of chaos causing trouble." Snape said. "Miss Weasley has a 'living book' in her possession and said you told it was 'mostly harmless'. Care to elaborate" He requested. "She calls herself Voleta and is technically my ally. Problem with beings of chaos, you can't control them." Electra said, giving the bare details. "And what's this about founders' objects being found!" McGonagall demanded as her accent heavier than normal. Electra took out and placed the Cup and Diadem on Albus's desk gingerly.

"I tracked them down and had to remove some nasty curses from them. They are clean and safe now. I have leads on the locket that will take time to act on. Sirius Black's trial is in a week and he can help me." Electra said as they marveled over the objects. "These are wonderful times indeed. The Lost Founder Items returned at last." Flitwick said. "The Diadem only seems to make you more aware of information. I tested it out already and deed it a teaching aid at best." Electra said as she looked at the office. Cabinets of tickets, shelves of books and fancy perch with a bowl of ashes at its foot.

"May I see how you removed the curses?" Albus asked, knowing what the object had been used for. She showed him the Right Hand of Death. "Merlin's Beard! Where did you get that dark artifact?" Sprout exclaimed. "It's not dark. It removes the harmful stuff from cursed objects in most cases. One of a kind and from a trusted source." Electra said, using it on Snape's arm, pulling a misty skull and snake mark from it. "See, his Dark Mark tattoo is gone." She said as Snape looked at his now clear arm in shock.

"I must ask who you got that from. The Dark Mark is impossible to remove without the death of the caster happening." Albus said, in a surprised but stern voice. "You hunted for his objects he gifted three brothers after they bested him." Electra said a little vaguely. "Impossible! Why would Death lower himself to visit a mortal?" Snape snapped. Electra showed them the list of 'Issues'. "This is why. He is fed up with things like Dementors and Horcruxes. I have the power to help him, so he requested my aid." She says drawing the slamming the Sword of Dawning Storms into the desk point first.

"This is the cause of the former Prison's current state. By my hand, it and the horrors in it's depths were purged from troubling this plain of existence." She states with conviction. Albus reached for the blade but held back as his instincts flared up. "that stone in the hilt. Is it a Philosopher's Stone?" Albus asked. "a version of it. From what I understand, Nicolas Flamel and his wife left a decoy that was almost stolen last year. (not cannon but that's how it will be for this fic)" The teachers' expression told her everything she needed. She removed the blade, revealing the deck was unmarred. "This weapon holds unlimited chaos energy. It would be bad if anyone else hold it." She stowed the blade in her device, point made.

"Is this on?" Mew asked tapping on the 'window' that appeared in the office. "Hello Lady Mew. We were just having a meeting." Electra greeted warmly. "Hello Sparky. Just checking in to tell you It was me and someone else that caused the 'windows' to appear. Just something to make that universe more fun." Mew said then the 'window' vanished. Flitwick was the only one that realized she was making a show of force to distract them from the disillusioned(Disillusionment Charm gives the target 'active camo') form of Rei placing a bug (the kind that picks up things that are said.) in the leg space of the desk.

Electra left the office then listened to them discuss how they would 'keep an eye on her'. Finding the Invisible Book of Invisibility was worth the hassle finding them for the bookshop owner.

About an hour later she returned to the office after the teachers left and placed the vile book she found on his desk. Albus sucked in air at the sight of it. "I found this among some hidden spaces in the castle." Electra told him in a calm voice. "How many have you found?" He asked instead. "So far three, not including the one in Harry's scar and the main soul portion. I know for a fact, that the locket was made into a horcrux." Electra said. Albus burned the book with a simple fire spell and vanished the ashes with a quick Scourgify charm.

"How does Sirius help you find the locket?" He asked, looking decades older in seconds. Electra throws a fake locket on the desk. "R.A.B. stole the real one. You might know him as Regulus Arcturus Black, Sirius' 'death eater' bother. He redeemed himself in death, but the locket's location is only known by Kreacher, their house elf." Electra said. "Of all the way Tom could have could dressed his men, he chose a silver skull mask." This statement was of annoyance. "King Hessan would part their head from their neck for this disrespect."

"And the trap he left?" Albus asked. "destroyed with an overcharged anti-undead spell. Turned a lake of Inferi (dark magic powered zombie) into a holy spring." Electra said. "I expect you will have to wait a few months longer than you predicted." Albus said. "The Ministry has passed a law that require mind healer treatment on anyone near the 'Whirling Chaos' you caused." He how her the article in question. Electra just shrugs. "I can wait. It's not a big issue." Albus arches a brow then askes. "Does it have anything to do with that thing you are making with Lethifold thread? The ward informed me of it coming on to the grounds, but I trust you have it under control." Electra just smiled mysteriously as she left the office.

Dream/memory

Young Electra was drying her tears as Lady Titania fixed her up after Puck's prank. "He will get his dues little songbird" She promised Electra. Electra nodded and, even being young, noticed The Fae Queen had more to say. "Down tell what I'm about to say to anyone." Lady Titania ordered. Electra nodded. "Good. I have a task for you without a time limit or punishment for failure." Electra took in every word like it was water. "Gather the items I'm about to list and create something special with them. You will know what they are and how to use them as they become available to you."

Electra curtsied "I will do my best to complete your 'impossible' task, your majesty." Lady Titania had an odd smile as she cast a spell on Electra. "Remember, speak of this to no one." Her words echoed with power as the memory ended/

three months later

Before dawn

Hogwarts

Electra's quarters

Electra shot up out of bed gasping at the intense memory. Years of gathering odd bits and bobs. A cracked marble, the skull of a hydra killed by its own fang, the breath of love, the last gasp of fear, and so on and so forth. She had collected all those and some that made no sense. Some of them had no physical form, yet she collected it, somehow. She got out of bed, without waking Rei or Voleta, and checked the state of her 'impossible task'.

She had set up a room in the multicompartmental magical trunks and was currently 'incubating' the final product in a car sized pulsing sphere. "soon you will be complete, and I get to see what she wanted me to make." She said, putting a hand on the sphere, feeling a 'heartbeat' from it. She climbed out of the trunk and locked up. She had classes to plan for. The first month was spent on the basics of the Pokemon World (How typing worked, general information about evolution, how all pokemon hatched from eggs, and form changes.) The next month was spent on items of the Pokemon World and how they were used. The third month was when she got started on the common pokemon.

Five hours later

Hogwarts

Classroom

"Professor! Why are we wasting time on the common riff raff? Tell us about the Legendries." Draco said without raising his hand. The chalk in Electra's hand was dusted mid writing. She turns around with a stormy expression. Draco had been being an annoyance since day one, making snide remarks about the 'ugly' pokemon and other small things. "As I explained at the start, the legendary Pokemon are the 'gods' of their world. You need to understand the common pokemon first to even begin to comprehend the difference in power." Electra's look silenced the class and she return to the lesson, Regional variants.

"The Regions of Alola and Galar are home to pokemon that have changed to survive better. An exception is Galarain Zigzagoon, who is the original variant. Why do you believe they are the only one to have a second stage evolution?" Electra asked. She ignored Hermione's hand and said, "Longbottom, answer the question please." Neville had a deer in the headlights look as he stammered "Because Hoenn isn't as dangerous for them." Electra smiled and declared "Five points to Gryffindor. When the Zigzagoon migrated to Hoenn, they didn't need to compete as much."

After class

"Professor?" Neville asked as he stood in front of her desk as the students left for the next class. Electra looked at him from the stack of homework that needed grading. "What is it that you need?" She asked, noticing his body language. "I was wondering if you knew how to heal people that have shut themselves away." Neville asked. Neville's parents have been tortured with the Cruciatus Curse, called the Torture Curse, to the point their minds 'shut down' not long after Tom Riddle was defeated. It was one of the Unforgivables. One caused an instant death. Another brainwashed you. It was this one that was vilest of the three. The curse caused mind numbing levels of pain.

"I can heal them, but they won't be back to the way they were completely. Experiences like that leaves their mark in some form." Electra said, not sugar coating it. "They won't be top notch Aurors, even if they recover enough to go home. I hope you can live with that limitation." Neville's tearful smile was answer enough. She gave him a late pass and he thanked her as he ran to his next class. She had been meaning to visit St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries for some time. But between cleaning out the Room of Hidden Things and her 'project', she just hadn't had time. There were a few ways she could go about this, she needed to see the couple in person first.

A few days later

St Mungo's Hospital

Janus Thickey Ward (Long term spell damage treatment)

"Yikes. The Healers clearly don't have much experience with this kind of damage." Electra commented as she checked the couple over. Augusta Longbottom, Neville's grandmother, was a tall boney woman with a formidable mindset and an odd fashion sense, her hat had a full-size stuffed vulture on it. "It is not a common issue." She snapped, "can you heal them?" Electra sighed and laid out the options. "There is three choice that are most likely to work. One, using a potion but I'm not sure it's going to do enough. Two, I try to heal them and hope it's enough and they don't relapse." She paused.

"What is the third choice?" Augusta demanded. "for a small price, I have a way of 'rewinding' them to before the damage happened. That price being the memories of the time they were in this state." Electra said calling the Time elemental from her 'mini-world'. Its features were completely hidden from view, save three glowing eyes in the darkness of the hood. Its cloak shimmered in and out of existence as it towered over them at seven feet tall. "what is the price to restore these two back to good health?" Electra asked. The being looked at the couple and tapped the keys of a crystal instrument with scaly claws.

"their memories of the past decade and a plant from his garden." The Being said pointing at Neville. The voice was thousands of voices at once. "Deal." Neville said offing a hand to shake before his grandmother could say anything. "Very well." The Being said shaking his hand, sealing the deal. "I'm taking the third rose bush." The Being said as he snapped his fingers and vanishing. Frank and Alice gasped as they woke. "Mom, Dad! Take it easy." Neville said going to them. They looked at him weirdly. "It's me, Neville. It's been about a decade for me and Gran." He explained.

"really? It feels like yesterday that someone attack the manor, I don't remember much but I remember the attack starting then it just cuts off." Alice Longbottom said sleepily. "Your son made a deal with some 'Being' for your recovery." Augusta said annoyed at his rashness, even if it turned out well. "That would explain why I heard someone saying they were taking the rose bush I got you for a Mother's Day gift." Frank Longbottom said amused. "I never like it that much anyways." Augusta said with roll of her eyes. "You're not going to remember anything no matter how hard you try." Electra told them. "That being," The name she says is impossible for them to understand, "took your memories as payment along with the rose bush."

"What is he?" Neville asked. Electra explained he was the 'primal elemental of the Concept of Time' and as such, he was complicated, even to her. She then filled them in on the public version of the recent events. "A creation deity made windows to her world appear and disappear at random? Any idea why?" Frank asked. "Lady Mew did it with the aid of some other being in this universe to make it a permanent, and fun, feature. It's what she does." Electra said, "That's why I am teaching at Hogwarts to help everyone understand what kind of universe the Pokemon World is. Even if some brats don't get the lesson plan." She grumbled the last bit.

"Aren't you a little young to be saying that?" A black-haired man with 'roguish good looks', in his opinion, said as he walked up to them. "Sirius Black. Just because I am not in my 20s yet, doesn't mean I can't call Draco Malfoy an entitled brat, which he is." Electra countered. "That's fair." Sirius said. "Albus tells me you need to search my families' library. I'd be careful because some of the books bite back." Electra laughed. "I own a copy of the Monster Book of Monsters. Now that's a book that can get snippy."

"Fair point. Do you want to hear my account of what happened at the prison?" Sirius asked. "This I have to hear." Augusta said.

Flashback

Somewhere in the North Sea

Azkaban

Maximum Security cell block

Sirius had been on this rock for years, taking his Animagus (The ability to turn into an animal and back at will) form to fight the happiness sucking effect of the Dementors, and jumped when a feather floated in front of him and trapped him in bubble. "I'm dreaming?" Sirius asked himself as he was teleported out of his cell and was bobbing in the water with other bubbles next to his with some prisoners and guards in them.

"If you are, then this is a nightmare!" The Warden near him yells as a being with twelve glowing wings firing a spectral bird at the island, blowing it, and the dementors, to kingdom come. "Good Riddance! I never like this place." Sirius whooped with joy as the figure seemed to be drawing a bow. By instinct he covers his eyes as an arrow screams as it hits the depths of the former prison, followed by blast, inhuman screams, and the sound of something breaking.

"It's gone." The Warden said as they witnessed the aftermath. Where the island had been was a chaotic hole. A churning whirling hole with kaleidoscopic center. "Thank you, ANGEL!" Sirius yelled as the figure left them in their bubbles.

Flashback end

"We were picked up and interrogated with truth Serum to squeeze out any tiny bit of information we had." Sirius concluded. "Even got to tell them the truth about my imprisonment without trial." He shows them the feather he hung around his neck on an unbreakable chain. "Got to keep the feather once they deemed it safe." He said with a smile. "that is crazy. Azkaban has been standing for decades with whatever was hiding it in its depths." Frank said amazed by the old article Sirius showed as proof. "The Unspeakables claim it's a part of a Prophecy told centuries ago." Sirius said.

"The one about the Storm Singer? That is balderdash." Augusta said annoyed. "Um, what are you talking about?" Electra sked. "Professor, there is a prophecy about the Thunder Bird that is greater than any other." Neville said. "It goes something like this. 'When worlds meet, and Death greets. The Wings of light shall sear a hole with an arrow of light. When the lost is found, she born of Fire and Ice will come and heal wounds that have festered.' There are some folksongs and stories about her being able to cause storms that can smite dragons with just her voice." Neville explained.

"Things are lining up, loosely, so far." Electra admitted. "It's not exact but Prophecies are tricky at best. We Greeks know that quite well." Augusta snorted at this. "You Greeks put too much stock in the words of a smoke huffing mad woman." Electra corrected her "It's more of having gift that can read possible futures. Good thing the Future isn't set in stone." Electra made sure to add, "The only Fate all mortals share is being born and dying." Augusta grumbled a little, but Frank butted in with, "That I can live with. Thank you for your help, Professor Laskaris."

A few days later

London

12 Grimmauld Place

"It's not the nicest place, but it was home." Sirius said as he let her into the Ancestral home of the Black Family. "Bad master is returning to waste space again." A short creature, in rags, with bat-like ears said with a nasty attitude. "This bundle of joy is Kreacher, the House-Elf. Don't mind him. It's the magical painting of my mother, Walburga Black you have to watch out for." Siruis said as the curtain on a giant painting down the hall by the stairs opened. "How dare you darken me doorstep! Blood Traitor!" Came the shrill voice of his dead mother's painting.

Electra stormed past Sirius and Kreacher with a look at shut up the grumbling house-elf as she told the painting, "Don't you dare yell again while I am here! I have had it up to here with the 'blood purity' Crap that lead you to warship a half-blood born from a Gaunt and a non-magical drugged up on 'Love Potion' (more like lust potion)!" Everyone was silent and staring at her. "The Dark Lord isn't a Pure-blood?" the painting asked, in total shock. "Yes. He lied to you. All he cares about is having people grovel at his feet in total submission." Electra stated. "Kreacher, where is the locket Regulus gave you?" She asked readying the Right Hand of Death. Kreacher brought her the locket and whooped with joy as she cleansed it. "Master Regulus' last task is complete!" He yelled.

"We supported a soul mutilator. I denounce any tie to the Death Eaters and their leader!" The painting yelled then slammed the curtains shut to brood in peace. "We have much to discuss." Sirius said

The dining room

"Death gave you a list of things to fix and Albus hired you to teach about pokemon. Am I missing anything?" Sirius asked with grin. "Voleta was the one that made Peter Pettigrew into a living statue that can only tell the full truth in the form of limericks?" Electra said. They were seated at the table as Kreacher was on a cleaning spree. "Right, I forgot about that part. It's nice to know that the Angel that saved me has sense of humor." He joked. "I can't wait to meet harry in person. Letters only do so much. What would James say if he could see me?" He asked rhetorically.

Electra attacked the black stone in the ring she cleansed. The Resurrection Stone, one of the three Deathly Hallows, let you calls shades of the dead but if you kept them for too long, it caused them pain. "Padfoot, you make a few bad choices, but you are trying to make up for it." The shade of James said and as he and his wife, Lily, answered the call of the Deathly Hallow. Sirius was flabbergasted. "this isn't a prank, but we can't stay long." The shade of Lily said then whispered something in his ear that convinced him it was them.

"Don't try to blame yourself for our deaths." The shade of James said. "Wormtail, was sneak as his Animagus form (a rat). To think he would tell Tom Riddle where we were hiding." Sirius laughed somberly. "You are right Prongs. Of all the Marauders (a pranking group James and his friends started when they were in school), he was the one you never expected, always blending into the background." Sirius lamented. "Electra has let us talk to Harry and my old cat. All that's left is to track down Remus." The Shade of Lily said. "Moony? He is dragging his feet and delaying visiting Harry, as far as I know. Maybe I need to knock him out of his self-guilt trench." Sirius considered.

A few days later

Hogwarts

Classroom

Electra had been dreading this part of the lesson because of the narrow mindedness of some wizarding families. "of all the 'common' pokemon there is one that harmless alone but a global hazard when they get to together." She said, "Can any one of you guess what Pokemon I am talking about?" There was a lot of answers, like Gulpin or Swalot. After explaining that yes, their answers were right, but not quite right. Seeing as no one was getting it, she stated, "The Pokemon in question is the Unown."

Hermione's hand shot up. Electra nodded at her and Hermione asked, "Professor? How are they dangerous? I understand they can open portals and tap into the 'dream realm' but it that doesn't sound globally dangerous." Electra sighed. "In the early days of Creation, the Unown aided in realizing the wishes of Lady Mew, the creator and force of Chaos. They acted as anchors while Arceus, embodiment of Order, made it livable." Electra said. She was putting off talking about the Legendries. "There was an incident where a little girl's dreams were made real by the Unown. It was stopped but the Unown got out of control as emotions ran high and they couldn't even stop themselves if they wanted."

"why let them be free? Wouldn't it be easier to seal them away somewhere?" Crabbe, one of Draco's cronies, asked. "There I thousands of them, with 28 variants shape wise, that come and go as they please." Electra said calmly. "Getting them to stay still for five minutes is hard enough. What you are proposing is only possible for moments then they world unseal themselves and leave. Luckily, they don't hold a grudge." Electra said as she wrote out the required pages to be read by next week. "Read these pages and give me two to five feet of parchment on your thoughts on the legendary and mythical pokemon." She said as the bell rang.

She sat down and started to grade last week's essays on what they deemed to be the most dangerous 'common' Bug type Pokemon. And hour into the task, she smelled Lockhart's heavy cologne. Without looking up, she asked him what he wanted. "A joint venture!" He said in an upbeat flowery voice. "I have information on the 'lost Goblin Tribe' ruins. It may even lead to the tribe itself!" He said with gleaming smile. She looks up confused. "could you elaborate on that?" She asks. "According to legend, the Gringotts Goblin Tribe is from a bigger Tribe that is still underground." Lockhart said, "Ragnuk the First, their King during the Founders' Era made a comment that went something like this, 'The First King would not give you a fair fight'." He explained excitedly. "This means that they came to the surface because of a clash of Ideals. In fact, there is muggle novel that talks about a Goblin King who will steal unwanted children away. I never got around to reading it but I sure it's mostly made up."

Electra inwardly groaned at his stupidity. He wanted to travel to the home of a member of the Fae and didn't think a 'muggle novel' was going to be helpful. She had read said novel and suspected it had some truth to it. Then it dawned on her. She could remove this announce and expose him as a credit stealing mind wiping fraud that he was. Putting on a sweet smile, she said, "can it wait until in-between semesters?" He flashed that annoying smile and said, "That's the plan. We can head out during the holiday break, and get back by in week, easily. If you can find those lost founder's artifacts, then a lost tribe will be easy." She made sure that stack of essays blocked his view of her annoyed look.

Common Room

"How are you boys doing on the essay for Professor Laskaris." Hermione asked Ron and Harry. As they at by the fireplace. "I can see why she saved it for now. The sheer scale of them is beyond was anything I expected." She said animatedly, reading the textbook about Legendary and Mythical pokemon along with the legends connected to them, as Ron and Harry played Wizard's Chess (the pieces were alive and sometimes offered advice, both good and bad. When piece is taken the piece that does the taking smashes the taken piece violently). "finished it yesterday. I have no idea how humans over there in a mental (insane) place like that." Ron says, putting Harry in checkmate.

"I guess they are tougher humans than we are." Harry said as the chess pieces start to mend themselves. "I wonder if they have types like pokemon do?" He said, "Think about it. The book details humans surviving fights with mountain smashing fighting type pokemon." Hermione pulled out another textbook and flipped to a page and reads a passage. "After much study, it has been determined that Humans also have Types. (not cannon but makes sense) How this came to be is unknown, but it is believed to be one reason they are still alive today." They look at her. "It's one of the later textbooks we will be covering at some point. I got it early because the Professor said I could do it for extra credit." She said with pride.

"You are a workaholic, Mione. Are you planning to be one of the teachers that will teach that subject down the road?" Ron asked. Electra was training teachers to take over for her after this year. "As much as I would love to, it's not for me. I have other plans." Hermione said going back to reading about the Legendary pokemon. "Any idea where Lockhart is going?" Ron asked. "You know he said it was top secret. I did some snooping and Professor Laskaris is going with him. They were talking about was supplies they need for long term travel." Harry and Ron looked her amused. "Mione, I never took you for an eavesdropper." Ron said jokingly, "What would the professors say about that?"

"It's not like they were hiding it that well." Hermione said annoyed. "That grinning fool is not that good at planning for a hike anyways." Voleta said as she plopped down onto the arm of Hermione's armchair. "Spirit of Chaos at your service. Name's Voleta." Voleta said with a little wave. "you're the one that stole dad's car!" Ron accused. "More like opened it's eye to freedom." Voleta countered. "Here's some advice as payment for the 'misfortune' I caused your family. Lockhart is only good at one spell, the Memory charm." Voleta flew off as Hermione brain went into overdrive. "That can't be it." She mutters and rushes to her dorm in a hurry.

The Underground

"Well, I didn't expect anyone to use the old entrance." A 'man', with wild white hair and a stylish royal outfit, said twirling crystal balls with inhuman skill. Electra looked for Lockhart and didn't find him anywhere. "That human fell down the wrong path." The 'man' said, uncaring. "Poor fool has drowned in the Bog of Eternal Stench yesterday." Electra started laughing at the ironic death of Lockhart. "Your Majesty, I mean no disrespect, but that fool was going to have an 'accident' and die no matter what. Then the true of his memory wiping credit stealing career would make the front page." Electra said curtsying.

The 'man' smiled, "I like you. Your charge is safe." Referring to Rei as he took her hand and kissed the knuckles lightly, in a non-romantic way. "I am known as Jareth, the Goblin King and ruler of the Underground." He tilts her head with a gloved hand, looking for something. "Titania has an odd taste in humans. I wonder what you did to get this mysterious task she hides from even me." He lets her chin go. "Well, you are here in time to be apart of my wedding." He didn't give her a choice in the matter. "Maybe you can take that Hogwarts Founder off my hands. His stony vintage is an eye sore to the palace garden." He says teleporting them from the outer edges of the Labyrinth (the complex maze that made up the main defense of Goblin City) to his palace, in the heart of his kingdom.

"Do not worry about the food and drink trap. My sister's charm will keep it at your ward from being trapped here." Jareth said. "Lady Titania has you as a brother?" Electra asked. "And are you aware there is a mortal singer that looks and sounds a lot like you in my universe?" Jareth smirked. "I'm not surprised she doesn't talk about me. And yes, I'm aware of David Bowe. He has good taste in both looks and music. Shame he was never born in this one."

A dark-haired woman, looked to be in her early 20s, trailed by goblins asking her opinion on the wedding details. "Jareth! Please tell me you found someone to help with the wedding planning. They have no idea how to set up an event like this." She said at wit's end. "Sarah, meet the wedding planner." Jareth doe a sweeping gesture towards Electra. "Oh! You must be Rei's caretaker. She told much the past few days." Sarah said with a warm smile. "How did you meet his Majesty?" Electra asked.

Sarah, looking embarrassed, admitted, "I wished my little brother away about seven year ago. When Jareth gave me the chance to run his maze to get Toby back, I did it just barely with help of the friends I made on the way. After that happened, we met via dreams until a few months ago when he asked my hand in marriage." Jareth hugs her lovingly. "You are the most beautiful human I ever met. A little brat at first but you are the woman I'd have as queen. Brave, stubborn, intelligent, and kind." He listed. Electra left them alone and got started on the job she was told to do.

Somewhere in the Labyrinth

"How did you get here?" Electra asked the stony prison of Salazar Slytherin, a balding bearded man wearing robes. He seemed to have permanent scowl on his face. "He's been here for centuries." A big nosed dwarf named Hoggle said as he trimmed the bushes. She was the first being Sarah had met on her run. He was also the one that cleared up what was different about this set of events compared to the movie Electra knew. In the Movie version of events, Jarath didn't dream talk to Sarah for years and the kingdom suffered for it. "The Bankers got their claws on him somehow and gave him as the yearly offering." He explained.

"Why did they start a bank in the first place?" Electra asked. Hoggle gave snort and said, "To get away from their 'normal' goblin kin. They are the 'Orderly' oddballs. You've seen how chaotic Goblin city can get." That made so much sense. The tribe that founded the bank had a stricter mentality compared to the residents of the Underground. "Behave!" Hoggle said slapping at a vine that tried to grab him. "I swear His Majesty lets the plant life be bratty just to make my job harder." He grumbled.

Rei popped her head out of a fruit tree and was munching away at a pear. "And you are just as bad." Hoggle said pointing at her. "I trim a plant, then you make it grow all over the place." Rei said something back. "I don't care if it's 'training a new skill'! His Majesty makes me do more work because you undid my work!" He ranted as Rei just tree hopped away. "You better run!" Hoggle yelled stomping his feet.

Electra noted the hefty ring on the 'statue's' finger. It was the ring that bore the coat of arms of the Slytherin House. "so that's why the Gaunts had the Resurrection Stone and claimed it was the family ring. OL' Sal took the real one with him as he went to his stony fate." Electra mused, ordering the ivy to perch elsewhere. "How did you do that? You just tapped that staff at them, and they moved like an obedient puppy!" Hoggle said confused. "One, the staff is good at channeling spiritual energies, nature and ghostly energy can be done with enough skill. And two, I was channeling the power of one of my elemental summoned beings." Electra said, calling the elemental in question for him to see.

"What kind of gardener spawned that thing?" Hoggle asked as a hydra made of plant life poked three heads out of the portal. Electra pat the heads, each one looked like a different flower. "This is Mob, the 'Garden Hydra'." The head, each was large enough to eat a man whole, not getting attention, looked like a Black Rose with a mouthful of thorn teeth that dripped poison and a lack of visible eyes, bumped Hoggle, demanding head pats with a hiss. "Nice to meet you Mob." Hoggle said shakily patting the deadly plant beast. Mob's neck was covered in bark 'scales' and 'spines' of a range of browns, whites, and reds. "He used to be as tiny as an acorn with only one head. I'm so glad I get him carry over so many cycles." Electra crooned to a Daffodil head and a Forget-Me-Not head.

"I'll give you head pats and some wonderful compost later." Electra told Mob dismissing him. She turned the 'statue', now clear of ivy. "He used runes to stone himself." Electra muttered looking at the marks that stood out on the 'statue's' robes. "touch this one here and twist this way." She narrates as she touches the runes. A scroll was ejected from the 'statue', into her hand. "Simple storage runes. Now to see what he was hiding." She broke the wax seal and unrolled it. Her eyebrow arched higher and higher as she read it.

"He stoned himself to spite his son that was the start of the 'blood purity' nonsense? Already liking him more than I did, and I haven't even met him for real." Electra commented. "That nonsense? A bunch of hogwash being gargled by someone that baths in their own ego." Hoggle said spitting on the ground. "This is interesting. He planned for his return from the 'grave'. Apparently, the Storm Singer Prophecy was told to the Founders and Ol' Sal intended be around when it happen. Godric found this plan too foolish and that's the 'argument' everyone takes about in the history books." Electra said

"that one? No idea what it's talking about, but it's been around for almost a thousand years since that seer gave it. Come up! We need to find flowers for the crowns." Hoggle said, hobbling away to find a 'particular bush' because the Goblin King was punishing him some of the things he muttered yesterday. Electa patted the 'statue's shoulder and said, "your return will set things straight and heal the festering wound known as 'Blood Purity'. And to think you 'caused' it in a round about way." When he had 'disappeared' his descendants started the tread of 'Blood Purity' and twisted Sal's distrust for non-magicals into hatred for them (Not cannon but makes sense for this fic).

Electra's office

Salazar gasped and coughed out dust as stone turned to flesh. "What Year is it?" He wheezed, taking the goblet of water Rei offered him. "December 28, 1992. You've been stone for a long time." Electra said reading the daily profit. Lockhart's fate and truth of him was all over the front page. "Has the Storm Singer come yet?" He asked as his senses recovered. "Well, I am talking to you, so I must have arrived." Electra said. He looks at her shocked, "You do not look like a magical bird." He starts to mutter under his breath about Seers and being unable to give straight answers. "I can call storms and can turn into a bird called a Thunderbird." Electra states then sets the newspaper down at her desk.

"Before you rejoin the world, there is much to discuss." Electra told him and he sat down across from her. "Tell me of what happened in the world." He said in a voice that was harsh from a life of hardship. It would be a long week to get him even close to functioning in the modern era. On the flipside he had explained some things that were 'erased' by jealous people.

Room of Requirements

"This 'thing' you made is beyond any garb I've seen." Salazar said inspecting the hooded cloak. It was hard to describe what it was. The 'thread', she had used to craft the 'pulsing sack' filled with all the other items she was tasked to collect, had turned into a garment made of slivery wispy martial and had Fae script on the hems, almost unseen. "I'm not allow to tell you anything about its creation." Electra said plainly. He waved it off, using the magical instruments (tools) the room provided, to look for any details. "I don't know what possessed you to use the spool of Lethifold 'thread' I made all those years ago, but the result is some garb that will isolate you from everything, should you activate it."

He got slapped by the garment and it turned away from him with crossed 'arms' or maybe sleeves. "As you can tell, it's still alive and hates me for 'unraveling' that group of Lethifolds that was attacking the nearby villages." Salazar winces as a bruise formed. "Good news is that it will be an adequate protection if you don't mind it's moodiness." He heals the bruise with a spell and glares at the cloak. "I swear that being 'dead' would be better than fixing the modern-day mess." Salazar sighed as Rei brought him a goblet.

"Thank you, Rei. At least there is some nice surprises." Salazar told her, "you, being the most fascinating one." Rei beamed at this and scaled up Electra to rest in her hair. "Back to the grinder for us." Electra joked as she whistled for the cloak to follow her out, which it did happily. Salazar laughed. "Yes, teaching the masses can be tough, but rewarding." He said as he followed her lead.

Classroom

"As you know, the final exam will be coming up in a matter of months. It will be on everything you learned in and out of this class. I hope you paid attention to the recommended reading list I provided." Electra told one of the older year classes. "Do good enough and at the End of Year Feast, I will show you the event that is most voted for." She indicates the voting jar. "You can vote five times and must sign your name on each slip of paper with intent to vote for that choice, otherwise the jar will not take it." The class mutters to each other. Electra had shown them visions of the pokemon world via her music, but no major events.

"Yes, Mr. Weasley, both of you." Electra says. The twin pranksters talking, saying one word at a time, asked, "By 'any event', you mean ANY event, even high-stake battles that our mother would pitch a fit over us seeing?" Electra, smirking, said, "As you are the first class to know about this deal, I will clarify the rules. You will see events in history that aren't too gory, so no war scenes. Nor will I show how 'adult imagery', don't want to ruin anyone's appetite. Other than that, the sky's the limit." Electra knew she had them hooked and they would screech the pokemon history textbooks with a fine-tooth comb of their own volition to find the perfect event. Just as she planned.

"Let's get back to the lesson. Nice try with that prank apple George." She says pointing to the right twin as she makes no move to touch the 'normal apple' on her desk. That was just one of the many, many, pranks she avoided of the school year. It was a 'grand quest' to be the one to prank her successfully, not even Peeves, the poltergeist formed from the emotions of the children that attended the school, could prank her. "We will try our hardest." The Twins say with a salute.

Defense Against the Dark Arts Classroom

"As you know, this class was cursed to never have a teacher last a year." Salazar Slytherin said as he prowled the room. "This is no longer the case. I, along with the other teachers you had after that fraud 'departed' have spent time to fix the damage this year. Next year, a more permanent Professor will be teaching you save for the days that his health doesn't permit him. For those days, Snape will step in and substitute." Harry gasps a little. Salazar zoomed in on that noise and said, "Ah, Harry Potter. I've been waiting to meet you." He said walking up to Harry's desk with an unreadable look on his face.

"When I heard of a war ending because of you, I refused to believe it." Salazar stated. "Looking at you now, I can see it is because of you your mother caused the war to end. There exist protections that require steep sacrifices but will protect you from any kind of Dark Magic imaginable." Salazer's words echoed in the silent, save for quills scratching on parchment, classroom. "Keep this in mind as you live your lives. 'At what point have you crossed the line?'. That is the question to keep as you push the limits of what is known."

Harry felt a chill down his spine as the founder moved back to the front of the classroom. Salazar Slytherin didn't have hate, pity or admiration for Harry being the 'Boy-Who-Lived'. He was treating Harry like an interesting student that had promise but not much more than that. He talked of the Dark Arts as a dangerous tool that had its uses, even if extreme circumstances were the only expectable cases. If that wasn't the case, then it was a force to be wary of as you battled it and its users.

Towards the end of the lesson, Hermione asked about the famed Chamber of Secrets. Salazar had an odd nostalgic look on his face as he answered. "I build that chamber as a place to get away from everything. All the founders had a room like that. I wouldn't be mistaken if the Headmaster's office was Godric's secret room." He sighed. "The contents of the Chamber of Secrets are not for the ears of children such as yourselves. Keep in mind it was built in a harsher era."

Headmaster's Office

"So, you are the father." Electra said noticing Fawkes, the phoenix Dumbledore had as a 'pet', sitting on his perch with Nightwatch next to him. "I noticed this owl had a striking resemblance to Fawkes, but I wasn't sure." Albus said, relieved. "I hope you have good news for me this evening other Fawkes' hatching being at the school." He said lightly. "I have been working behind the scenes to remove or solve a lot of 'issues' Death had. 'reviving' Sal took care of over half of them in one go. Voleta has been 'solving' other issues in her own way. Not sure if letting a being of chaos do it was what Death had in mind." Electra said.

"All his Horcroxes are gone, oddly enough Harry seems to be retaining the ability to speak Parseltongue. Thus, implying he always had that gift and the Horcrox just 'woke' it up. Yesterday, Death informed me that he needed the Right Hand of Death back so he can finally get Tom. I'm going to miss that hand." Electra said with a half-smile. "I got enough uses out of it. Curing werewolves and those baring a 'blood curse' was that most time-consuming thing I did this year." She admits as Albus nearly chokes on the lemon drop. "I dare say you are the cause of more chaos than Voleta." Albus coughs. "Death hates dealing with the messes the gods and mortals leave behind when they lay curses without thinking." Electra said, reminding him a lot of times that a 'punishment' became a long-lasting issue.

"I suspected the Right Hand of Death 'collected' the dark magic it removed." Albus mused. "Not even Death can undo a curse cast by a god that easily." He looked her in the eye and asked, "Why did you become a teacher? I know it was to get into the castle but that isn't the main reason." Electra remembered the night she before she met Albus in person.

Dream version of the Hestia temple

"Lady Hestia? Why have you called me to this setting?" Electra said bowing to the goddess, who had a serious look on her face. "My child, I have task for you." Hestia said softly. "if I can, I will do it posthaste." Electra said. Hestia smiled gently. "Go to the school and help mend the bonds." That was all Electra was told as the dream ended.

Headmaster's Office

"To help mend the bonds." Electra quoted. Albus nods gratefully. "You have done a superb job that bringing everyone closer over the course of the year." He sighs "better than my years of trying." Electra was quick to point out why. "It's because you are too entrenched on one side of the political battlefield. I, on the other hand, am a newcomer that has enough 'power' (fame, lineage, magical strength, and not banding under pressure) to plant the seeds of change." Albus nodded. "That is true. I tend to forget that fact." He said with a smile. "A fresh look can be just whet you need to get pass an obstacle that has you stuck."

"Or maybe an old one that hasn't been heard from because he 'stoned' himself with runes!" the Portrait of Godric Gryffindor yelled from the upper part of the wall, which was filled with Portraits of the past headmasters who had died. The other Portraits stopped faking being asleep and muttered about how Godric, the first headmaster, broke his vow of silence after centuries. "I told him he was a fool to pursue that plan and not deal with his kin then and there! but no! He had to let it fester so he could meet some super bird in the future!" Godric ranted. "What's done is done." The Portrait of Armando Dippet, the Headmaster before Albus, stated. "Prophecies are vague and confusing at best. And complete balderdash at worst." The Portrait of Phineas Nigellus Black snorted at this. "That so called 'super bird' isn't even a bird. It's a slip of a girl that can summon lighting by humming a few bars!" He added getting a glare from Electra.

In a flash she turned into her Thunderbird form, which was much larger now that she had matured some more. She took up much of the free space in the office with her multiple sets wings half open for balance. "Care to rephrase that statement." She requested as a storm gathers above the castle. The Portrait of Phineas Nigellus Black stammered an apology, not wanting to get flash fried, as the Portrait of Godric laughed uproariously. Electra returned to human form and dusted herself off. "I don't get to use that form often. There is nothing subtle about it and that's not even taking in the fact I create a storm near me, that continuously grows, as long as I'm in that form." Electra said.

"With an Animagus form like that, you couldn't sneak up a anything." the Portrait of Dippet said, stroking his beard. "But it's unheard of for an animagus to be a magical creature." He mused. "It's deeper than the animagus ritual can grant." Electra said. "It's hard to describe but it requires to be exposed to a deeper magic, one not that can't be found, it finds you." She tried to describe. "You speak of the spirits and the gifts they give to those they like." The portrait of Godric said, getting it. "a branch of magic that few get to experience. Those born of Spirit Touched people carry that 'gift' as well." Electra nodded at this.

"Papa helped save a Spirit Tree. Mother was blessed so she would be by his side by some unknown being." Electra explained with a smile. And I, born with potential, trained hard to refine the gifts I got." Electra said remembering the hard work. "As you should. You don't sound like a spoiled noble brat to me." The Portrait of Godric said with pride.

Near the greenhouses

"Mob meet Neville Longbottom. Neville is Mob, a spirit that I can call upon." Electra said introducing the massive hundred-headed plant/tree hydra. Neville started listing each flower the heads looked like as they inspected him. "This is an amazing plant creature. Where did you find him?" Neville asked. "Somewhere you wouldn't believe." Electra said patting heads and throwing sacks of plant fertilizer up for Mob to bite down on and swallow. Mob hissed in pleasure. "He like eating soil?" Neville asked. "it's more like a special blend of fertilizer that has Papa's Plant Cure added to it. A few drops will keep a garden green. A bottle will make it into an untamed jungle." Electra said. "But to Mob, a whole bottle is like hot sauce on a steak." Neville heard a giggle as Luna Lovegood walked up bare foot, again.

"He finds that to be an amusing comparison." Luna said dreamily. "You understand him?" Neville asked as some of the head rub up against Luna. "Only a little, most of the meaning is lost to me, but I can understand the broad strokes. The Elementals she befriended come in all shapes and sizes. Some can be understood clear as crystal, while others are mysteries, only she can decipher." Luna explained. "Did they steal your shoes again?" Electra asked. "It was Peeves this time. They learned their lesson the first time." Luna deflected. "Rei, it's clear they need a reminder not to bully someone." Electra said to Rei who nodded and ran off to the school to teach some students that she was not going to let them find new ways to bully Luna.

"That should solve the case of your missing necklace." Electra said as Luna's eyes widened. "How did you tell?" She asked. "The metal of the one you are wearing isn't the same as the one you were wearing yesterday. It's clear they choice something else to steal. I'll deal with Peeves personally." Electra reassured Luna.

Professor Igor Karkaroff, headmaster of Durmstrang Institute, was a gruff man wearing clothes for the colder temperatures of northern Europe, where the school is located. He came to visit Albus to arrange a meeting with Electra to get a teacher about Pokemon. "What is going on! Why are all the student outside?" He demanded as to briskly walks up to Albus who was talking with a very tall French woman. She was Olympe Maxime, the Half-giant Headmistress of Beauxbatons Academy of Magic, located somewhere is France. She was there for the same reason as he was. "Peeves stepped on the toe of Professor Laskaris, as the saying goes." Albus said calmly as load creaks and booms were heard from the castle.

"What did the poltergeist do this time?" Karkaroff asked looking at the students enjoying the nice sunny day. "He stole one left shoe from everyone in the castle. Alas, Miss Lovegood had all her shoes stolen instead of just one. The Teachers evacuated the students in case the shoe retrieval gets too out of hand." Albus said this perfectly came as Peeve was slammed into a window and dragged away by glowing chains. He had a pleading look that Albus ignored on purpose. "She'll be finished extracting the information show." He said before going back to taking about potential teachers for Beauxbaton to hire next year.

An hour later

"Good show." Bloody Baron, the ghost of Slytherin House, said as Peeves fled to some dark corner of the castle as fast as his mutilated ghostly body could. "He'll heal up after soaking up some youthful angst from the students, but the lesion will stick." Electra said, nodding to the portraits who cheered for her care not to step on them as she pinballed off the walls, ceilings, and floors in her pursuit of Peeves throughout the castle. She made full use of the stairs and railing to slingshot herself at Peeves when he tried to get out of her range by floating high in the air in the Grand Staircase, a giant tower room that connects to all floor and had moving staircases.

"Have you seen my body?" the head of Sir Nicholas de Mimsy-Porpington, ghost of the Gryffindor House, asked. He had been known as 'Nearly Headless Nick, because he died to FORTY-FIVE swings of a dull axe to the neck, leaving a tiny bit of flesh holding his head on. The reason why his head was being held by a ghost known as 'Moaning Myrtle', was because his neck got clipped by an attack made of SOUL energy, cutting it. Myrtle Elizabeth Warren, who was sorted into Ravenclaw, died at age 14 because of Tom Riddle opening the Chamber of Secrets when he was still in school.

Myrtle giggled as she held the head. "Thank you for get back at him for me. He has been so nasty to me." Electra patted her shoulder, being able to interact with ghost had its ups and downs. "Last I saw, his body is drifting near the kitchens." She looks at Nick and said, "sorry you lost your body like that. I intended cut your neck in a more controlled manner than this." Nick wasn't mad, "That's fine. It was my fault being too close to the show." He said, then frowned when he relived, he couldn't convey body language that well with just his head. Myrtle glided away to locate his body and the other ghosts left to talk to Portraits to hear their view of the show.

"What did you do to harm a spectral being?" Karkaroff asked warily. "SOUL energy. Good for dealing annoying ghosts, Yokai, and other non-corporeal being." Electra said, looking around at the foot and handprints everywhere. "This is going to take a bit for me to clean up." Argus Filch, the cantankerous caretaker of the school and a Squib (a person with magical grandparents and parents but born without magical talent) jus, just stared at her then the mess. "You aren't going to make me toil away like that brats do?" He asked as his dusty cat, Mrs Norris looked at her with a grateful look as Electra takes the clearing rag from Filch and started cleaning.

Filch walked away muttering about crazy professors that were smart enough to deal with their own messes. Wallace lumber in with a mop and bucket. "I'll get the floors." He stated, getting to work. Electra summons her horde of spider summons to clean the ceiling. Karkaroff was looking a little pale at the sight of the spiders. He hears the heavy footsteps of Hagrid, the Half-giant Gameskeeper. "Are those Acromantula?" he asked with fear. Acromantula were giant magical spiders that had a taste for humans. Hagrid scratched his bushy beard. "No, those are something else. They are the 'children of the Waking Night Sky'. I'm not sure what she means by that, but she said its spider the size of a continent. I would love to me a beast like that in person." Hagrid said, not noticing how much paler he was making Karkaroff.

A few months later

Great Hall

Albus had just finished his end of the year fest speech, Gryffindor won the House Cup and Quidditch Cup for the second year in a row. Electra stood up to the podium with jar in hand. "As you know, I took the students at if they get a school average high enough, I will show you an event form the history of the Pokemon World." She paused as everyone waited with bated breath. "With great honor, I will read the grading average using the Testing scale you will be facing in the O.W.L., N.E.W.T., and W.O.M.B.A.T. exams." Rei, on que, carried a scroll to her. "The Average is Exceeds Expectations (E). Not an Outstanding (O) but this is just the first year you've had this class. Those that got the lowest of the grades, worry not. An Acceptable (A) is still passing."

The students were shocked at the lack of 'failing grades' (Poor (P), Dreadful (D), Troll (T)). "It's clear to me that I am good teacher and you are the best students I could have asked for in this experimental class. The Headmaster will select of the graduating seventh year students that got a much harder exam because of the work ethnic they displayed this year to select the future teachers of this subject. Those that are in this group are sworn to silence for now, so don't bother asking." Electra stated, looking pointedly at some of the nosier students.

She reached into the jar and pulled out a single sheet of paper that listed the total votes from highest to lowest. She looks at it and with an arched brow she says, "in a unanimous vote, the winner is The Trials of the Forest Tower. You really must want to know about that place." She has a fond smile on her face. "For the teachers in the dark, this is an adventure I had trying to reach and learn the secret of the massive living tree tower in the middle of a swamp called the 'Forest of Trials'. The reason for this is because the pokemon that live there are called 'uncatchable' by all who have challenge them. It's well off the beaten path in the middle of the wilderness and the neared town is a Region away." She shakes her head still smiling, "Despite this, many pokemon trainers travel there to hone their skills." Electra took herp bone harp out and started to play.

Middle of Nowhere

Forest of Trials

Electra looked at the marsh before her. "Are you sure this is the place?" she asked Mew. "Yep! I planted the sapling so long ago it's almost as old as me." Mew said as she was floating in a thinking pose. "That was something important about it, but I can't remember why. It must be important if I sealed that memories away." Electra resisted the urge to sigh. Mew had told her she was to traverse this place without as pokemon on hand or her bag of gear, aka roughing it to the extreme. In return, she'd help with the research about this place. Just as Electra started to jump from the rocks and above ground roots of the trees, Mew said "Tell Big Bertha I said Hi!" With that Mew was gone from sight, likely watching out of sight.

"Lady Mew must have had a good reason to add that last request." Electra wondered out loud. "Sounds like an old friend. If this place is as old as she says, then she may have made an immortal guardian for it." As she travels, she makes note of the water, poison, and bug type pokemon that were plentiful and from all the known regions. There wasn't much sunlight as the trees' canopies made it patchy at best.

In few hours she had made from progress in the pleasant if muddy 'forest'. just as she avoided stepping a Shuckle, a wave of muddy water hit her, drenching her. Shuckle hid in his shell as a massive Whiscash surfaced. Looked to be 6 to 7 feet long and easily 300 lb. "What are you doing here, human?" the Whiscash demand in a male voice and stony expression. Bowing respectfully, she stated "I have been tasked to reach the tower by Lady Mew. She wants to know why she sealed her own memories of this place." The Whiscash's expression changed to one of great reverence. "Go west for five hours and you will find the den of the Swamp Queen. She will have some clue to your trial, Storm Singer." Both titles were said with such respect you'd think it was royalty Whiscash was talking about.

He sunk under the water silently and vanished. Shuckle poked out his head from one of the upper holes on his shell. "that is the nicest I've seen the Whiscash clan been in forever." He said in awe. "they rule this place with many failed attempts, by both humans and pokemon, to dethrone them. I'd do as he says. The Swamp Queen does not like being forced to wait." Shuckle noticed she was moving on but shouted, "Take me with you! This may be the only chance to see her in person!" Electra picks him up, noting he felt like he weighed a 100 lb.

"Are all the pokemon larger than normal here?" She asked her tempera companion. Shuckle thinks about it. "It's true for most pokemon here but there are some that are smaller than normal, and much faster. DUCK!" He shouts at the end as a Ninjask, that was on the smaller side, blitz past them, almost clipping her head. "Case in point, Ninjask here are much faster than you would find elsewhere. You learn to pick up when they zoom by." Shuckle said as fifteen more Ninjask pass over her crouched position.

"I'm not that special, just a 'unlucky' Shuckle, but I have eyes and ears out for anything in the past 100 years." Shuckle said humbly as Electra resumed traveling. "How are you unlucky?" Electra asked, avoiding a Seviper that swung a Poison Tail attack at her for getting to close to 'his tree'. "Don't mind him, he does to everyone that get within five feet of his tree." Shuckle says, "as for how unlucky I am? I get hit by stray attacks all the time. Somehow I am in the 'Wrong Place at the Wrong Time' as some humans say." He admits. "Good thing my shell is tougher than most." He laughs, then tells her about the time he broke the spikes off a Pincer who tried to crush him. Electra at the tale as they traveled.

Five hours later

Electra stood before a clearing that had no sunlight at all. Morelull and its evolved form, Shiinotic, provided the only light as they moved about the path around the muddy 'pond', that looked to be the size of a football field across, humming a calming tune. "If I know Whiscash, then the Swamp Queen's true den in deep under the water's surface. (This is the same for real life catfish.) It's be rude to swim down, so we'd best wait for her to come to us. We are guests in her home." Electra said sitting on a stump to wait. "How does anyone swim here? I don't see any rivers connecting to it." Shuckle said looking around at the 'landlocked pond' in one of the drier patches of land.

"underground paths for water to flow to and from here." Electra said as the mushroom pokemon's humming changed. The water churned as a Whiscash the size of a double-decker bus surfaced. Electra guessed this pokemon was in the 1000lb range at least. "you are the one she sends after leaving me to guard this place for who knows how long?" that sassiness of the deep female voice was thick. "Are you Big Bertha?" Electra asked carefully. The giant whiskered pokemon leaned in close to her and said, "What did you just say?" Electra repeated the question. "She remembered my name! Even if she forgot everything else, she remembered my name!" Big Bertha proclaimed with joy. The earth quaked briefly before stilling as the Swamp Queen reined in her joyousness. "Right, now down to business. You need to unravel the mystery of the tower that is the heart of this 'forest'. To do that you need permission from me, or you will be attack by my many children. Newsflash, it's not cheap." Big Bertha said, showing how she ruled over this place.

She had power, charisma, and leverage over waters of this area. Cross her and her children would make your life miserable. "Name your price." Electra said, not backing down. "You've got spirit for a body so small." Big Bertha says poking Electra with a whisker. "But spirit isn't enough to get what you need." Big Bertha smiled in a way that made Shuckle hide in his shell. "Bring me a Perfect Apple from the tree in the deepest part of the 'Forest'. Do that and you will get what you need to even get close to the tower."

Shuckle, quaking in fear inside his shell, asked "You mean the territory of the 'Beast'? The place that not even the greatest of trainers go near." Big Bertha looked at the rattling shell and asked, "Aren't you the one that is a magnet for trouble? My Children talk about you all the time. The 'toughest shelled pokemon in the forest' they call you. And yes, I mean that place. Bring me the pristine Perfect Apple from the that tree or no permission granted." She says then sinks back to her den.

"What can you tell me about that deepest part of the 'forest'?" Electra asked Shuckle who was terrified beyond belief. "In the deepest darkest cave who's opening lays in the deepest part of the 'forest', grows a tree with golden fruit. No light enters the cave it the 'clearing the tree in is said to have its own personal sun and moon to keep it growing." Shuckle said as his breath hitched, "guarding the tree is a 'Beast' who can shatter stone with it's power. No one has lived to meet the beast other than the Whiscash that go to collect an apple a week for the Swamp Queen." Electra noted the parallels to Hercules in the Garden of the Hesperides.

"We can do this. You've got the daughter of Zane Laskaris as a travel companion." Electra said to cheer him up. "Really? I met him once. I don't remember when, but he complimented my shell and even laughed at some jokes I told. Then he left into a time portal." Shuckle said as he peeked out of his shell. Nerves calmed, they head out, not knowing that this would be a trying task.

A few days later

Forest of Trials

'Deep Section'

They had helped a few pokemon and got a torn bag, that she patched up with some of the spider silk she got later, a small selection of berries and herbs for if they get ill, and a lead on where the 'cave' was. "the pokemon that survived the 'beast' should be around here if the information is right." Electra said as they entered the 'curtain' of a large willow tree. longing in the shade of the tree was a heavily scared Slaking. "Are you Iron Kong?" Electra asked He opened an eye them both. He stood up, towering over her and leaned down to get a good look at her face. Satisfied, he laid back down.

"you have the right spirit to change the clan that protects the tree. They live in darkness and know it by the back of their claw." He rumbled then pointed past his tree to the right. "Keep going that way until you find a river that is crystal clear, then go upstream. You can't miss the cave opening." Electra bows then left the shade of the tree with a confused Shuckle looking between them. Slaking watched them go muttering, "Maybe she has the 'power' I lacked." Before going back to sleep as he remembers the echoed words from the cave as he dragged himself, ripped up and bloody, out years ago. "You have power but lack the 'power' to get an apple. Comeback when you learn what you lack."

An hour later

They found the river and following it, the cave. "It's not as scary as I imagined." Shuckle said looing at the normal looking cave opening. The only thing odd about it was how uniform it looked. On both sides of the water was a walking path. "Last case to stay behind." She asked Shuckle. "No way! I can't let you go in a place that dark. Even if there are hundreds of 'beasts' waiting for us." He said shaking his head, voice thick with fear.

Ten minutes later

In the cave

"This cave isn't natural." Electra said as they walked with little light. "it's was shaped with extreme heat and molded into the perfect shape. I'm not saying it man made but someone made this cave system with a propose in mind. Electra stopped when they reached a waterfall with wide steps going up the sides. "That's nice of them to put stairs." Shuckle said as they ascended.

An hour later

"What's that?" Electra said pausing at the mouth of a branching tunnel. The left path had extraordinarily little sound and glowed with distant crystals. The right smelled of water and a rushing sound and lacked the crystals. "Sounds like rapids or something." Shuckle said as she rushed down the right path. "hand me the silk rope." She said and Shuckle rummaged in the bag. "Not sure why you need it but here." He passes it over as they reach churning river full of eddies and whirlpools. In the middle of the river, clinging to a rock was a purple bat pokemon with speaker like ears, Noibat, calling for help.

Electra readied the rope and lassoed the rock. "crawl across the rope, I'll keep it steady." She yelled getting a solid footing as the clearly still young pokemon crawled along the rope. Shuckle heard the silk breaking as the young flying/dragon type's claws tore into it. He jumped and grabbed Noibat as the silk snaped and they plunged into the water. "I'll keep her safe!" Shuckle yelled as his shell slammed into the rocks. He corrected his position so Noibat wasn't facing the incoming rock. The two vanished from sight as they went around a bend.

Electra sighed. The river was too fast, and the rope was destroyed. She prayed that Shuckle's shell held up. She had to press on and come back for them.

A few hours later

She had been traveling in darkness for the past hour. She could smell the tree now and saw a pearl of light ahead. Sprinting the last stretch of darkness, she made it to a chamber that was lined with honeycomb openings. In the center, on an island in the middle of the reservoir, was an apple tree taller and thicker than a Redwood, and hauntingly familiar to her. Hanging from its branches were head sized golden apples. Hanging above the tree was a Solrock providing light. She watched as a Lunatone floated over to it as 'day' turned to 'night'. Crystals in the ceiling glittered like stars.

Noivern, a much larger version of Noibat and it's evolved form, came from one of the 'honeycombs' and flew down to her. "You are here for an apple." The statement was in a crisp no-nonsense female voice. "but first you will her how we judged you." Electra was surprised, they had watched her without being noticed. "Not once were you tempted by the crystal paths. You did not use any light source other than the light already in the cave." Noivern's stern expression changed to one gratitude. "And finally, you saved my child when she wondered off unnoticed. Shuckle and the Noibat look at Electra from Noivern's back.

"Told you, my shell is hard." Shuckle said, "Not that good at steering around rocks but I can tank 'em like a champ." Shuckle was hushed by Noivern. "As I was saying, after talking with the elders, it has been decided you may take two apples. One for the overgrown fish and one to enjoy yourself. You look like you need a bite to eat." Electra hears three stomachs growling, hers being one of them. A few minutes later Electra was sitting at the base of the tree with Shuckle, Noibat and Noivern near her. She split the golden Perfect Apple with Shuckle and Noibat.

"What's the story of this cave?" Electra asked, the flavor of the fruit reminded her of one of the trees in the Garden, but she couldn't remember what it looked like for some reason. Noivern made sure Noibat was listening as she said, "this cave system was created to house this tree and we were charged with protecting it. Lady Mew charged someone to make the cave and she planted the sapling, charging it will life as she did with its sister tree, connected in health and sickness."

"The Tree in the Hidden Grove!" Electra said realizing what tree it was. It was a tree she hadn't been allowed to see but when she was still a baby she had been taken there. "Papa always said I'd get to see it but its different from how he described it." Noivern nodded. "Words can not describe the feeling of this place. Many try to force their way here and are repelled with equal force. Each are judges fairly as they enter the caves. The Whiscash clan are judged every time and pass, even if they are a grumpy bunch." Electra knew she was keeping it PG because her daughter was listening. "You will need to present an offering to the Guardian of the Tower to enter. That is all the answers the clan has for you, Storm Singer." Noivern said, fulfilling her duty. Noibat dropped a Dragon Fang into Electra's hand. "Thank you for saving me." Electra thanked her and put the fang somewhere safe.

Three days later

"You returned alive? You might be able to enter the Tower after all." Big Bertha said as she swallowed the golden Perfect Apple whole. "As promised my children will let you pass. I will answer two questions you have." Big Bertha stated. "I know you were given immortality by Lady Mew and your really old, but why are you here?" Electra asked Big Bertha hummed. "if I had to explain it in way you would understand, I'd say my job is to keep this place as tough as possible. My Children force the pokemon to get tougher and they inturn keep humans from reaching the Tree or the Tower. It's a win-win scenario. What's your second question?"

Electra had to word this perfectly. "What do I need to know?" She asked. Big Bertha laughed. "That is the right question. And to answer it, the Guardian requires proof that you care for life. Once you enter the Tower, all will be come clear." Big Bertha said.

A day later

Forest of Trials

The Tower

A Whiscash carried them to the tower in a day, that would have been a ten day walk without break. The Tower looked like a tree but was almost sculpted. The Guardian was a towering shiny Trevenant, who's single eye looked at them with a bored expression. "I don't wish to fight you, but I need to enter the Tower." Electra said. her necklace with Hestia's symbol on it tumbled into view when she bowed. The Guardian's eye widened. In a voice like crackling bark, he asked, "Are you a Child of the Hearth?" Electra looked at the towering pokemon and noticed an odd mannerism. "Are you a fellow Laskaris?" She asked in return.

The pokemon laughed and introduced him left. "As a human, my name was Oliver Laskaris. I volunteered to guard something for Lady Mew. I didn't expect dying first and being a tiny stump ghost for a while. Luckily I can see from all the tree without leaving my post." Oliver knocks on the Tower and an opening appeared. "Fell free to enter, Storm Singer." Oliver said. "My name is Electra Nyx Laskaris." Electra said as she entered. "A good strong name, Sister Electra." Oliver said.

Inside the tower

Inside the Tower was an exceedingly long spiral staircase. "There has to be a reason for all the stairs and wall doodles." Shuckle said. Electra and Shuckle climbed the stairs, reading the morale that described the history and purpose of this place. it was opposite of the origin of creation, Spear Pilar, geographically speaking. All lay line of the planet met at those two nexuses. Where Spear Pilar was the nexus of Order, this one was the nexus of Chaos. Zane had planted a seed at this nexus, and it became the 'forest'. All the trees, save the golden tree, were all one 'tree' spread out for miles.

When they reached the top, they found a sword in a wooden pedestal that was apart of the Tower. Electra looked the sword over and marveled at the simple but beautiful Raindrop Damascus patten on the blade. "I know this metalwork." Electra tracing a finger of the hilt and cross guard. Shuckle looked at the blade and read the word on it. "pygolampída? What does that mean?" He asked. "It means firefly. Papa left me a sword." Electra said gripping the hilt and pulling the sword free. The hilt felt rough, so she fiddled with it a little and a stripe of bark came off. On it was a simple message. "To the Storm Singer, whoever you are. Lady Mew requested this blade be made with this name. She has the sheath. Sincerely, Zane Laskaris." The bark crumbled into motes of light.

Mew appeared stating, "Oh! That's why I sealed my memories of this place! It was your final test." She gives Electra a bark patterned sheath and belt. "I didn't want to spoil it for you, so I sealed my memories to make it as fair as possible. This is the place where change is most prominent. Spear Pilar is ridge and unchanging aka Order. Here change, aka Chaos, happens all the time. Trees grow, pokemon dethrone each other in the pecking order." Mew explained to Shuckle. "Oh, that's what the wall doodles meant." He said.

Great Hall

Electra bowed as the performance was done. "For those who have heard the tale of Storm Singer, I am she they talk of." Electra told the silent room. She showed them the sheath and belt, drawing pygolampída. This is the blade that waited millions of years for me and I thank you for listening to my tale." She bowed again, sheathing the blade. The apace was deafening as she returned to her seat. Thus, ended her year as a teacher at Hogwarts. A Year take was remembered as the Year of the Storm Singer.

Author's Note: this was an interesting chapter to write. Given what still going around stress is higher than normal. See you next time.
