Author's Note: Just to clarify everyone, the arena has a ring of concrete on its outer side where the bladers will stand. The random field and the main play area is where the battle will take place. It is the same as the BEGA playground except it is round and not inside a pit and random.
And The Games Begin
The stadium roared with cheers from the audience. The match between The Majestics and The Battalions was going on. Robert and Miguel were having the final battle. Their blades were crashing into each other. The fangirls were equally cheering both of them, unable to decide which one is better. The arena had two types of the field at once, which were The Geyser Field on Robert's side and The Desert on Miguel's side. Robert and Miguel were right then in the Geyser Field and their blades were fighting in between both of them. There were explosions around the beyblades that threw both of the bladers away. The bitbeasts came out of the bit-chips and Dark Gargoyle emitted a sphere of fire that Griffolyon dodged. It went to the direction of the audience but the safety barrier took the hit but the audience still tried saving themselves by leaning down.
"Looks like the safety barriers are working really nice," Brad Best commented, "For those who are just joining us, Welcome to fourth World Championships! Broadcast live from the Summer Colosseum!" AJ Topper added to the commentary, "If you are new to the tournaments, allow us to point down the rules. There will be team, duo, and singles match for our beybladers. The first team to collect full 250 points will battle the Bladebreakers in the finale. Right now, Robert from Mejestics and Miguel from Battalions are in the final match to decide which team will qualify." The broadcasting team panned the camera towards a large screen which showed two large bars with Miguel and Robert's picture with their beyblade's name that showed their beyblade's energy level. Brad introduced to it, "This screen is showing that the battle is close to ending. Dark Gargoyle's energy is at 16 while Griffolyon is at 25."
Griffolyon gave the final blow and Dark Gargoyle was thrown out of the field, into the ring of concrete outside the battle arena. "Miguel lost the battle by both ring out and power level. Robert from The Majestics won the game!" DJ Jazzman said in the mike. The audience roared their cheers.
The Bladebreakers were sitting in the stands. Kenny had recorded the whole match so that he could analyze the new strategies later. AJ Topper announced, "The next match will take place in fifteen minutes." Riri looked at Kenny as he typed his keyboard, "Kenny clear up space for the battle. It is Frozen Dark versus F Dynasty."
"Sure," he said and deleted some unimportant files.
Fifteen minutes later, the match was about to begin. The Bladebreakers took a seat in the stands and Kenny started the recording. It was a tag team battle. DJ Jazzman said, "So, we should begin the battle. What do you say, people?" The audience replied with a roar of cheer. It was normal that F Dynasty had a lot more fans than Frozen Dark. Sianna and Shinyu looked around in the stadium and then looked at their opponents, Julia and Raul. Sianna was wearing a black jacket under which there were a lavender blouse and a lavender mini skirt over which was a long wrapped around skirt that was open from the front. She was wearing a pair of lavender thigh-length socks and a pair of purple wedged heeled tie up boots. Shinyu was wearing a blue and red bodycon playsuit that had a collar and a red tie. Over it, she wore a black jacket which was red from inside. Her attire was accompanied by tight length white socks and blue sneakers. Julia said to Sianna, "Hey, aren't you the one who fell in the theatre show?"
"Yes," she replied in utter confusion if she was mocking her or not. Julia smirked as she noticed Sianna didn't get she was being mocked. She continued her mockery, "You should know how to do it before going to the stage since you are, you know, top-heavy." Sianna looked down and realized she was talking about her bust and said angrily, "Shut up!"
The energy level screen was turned on and it showed all of their beyblade's energy at 100 except Shinyu's which was depleted to 90.
"Let the random field selection part begin," Jazzman announced, and eight projections of roulette that spun. There was a beep and the two types of fields were selected, Stony Hills on F Dynasty's side and Glacier Field on Frozen Dark's side. Sianna brought up her purple spear which had the ripcord attached to it. The ripcord was from the middle of the spear to the end of one side's blade. Shinyu's misericorde appeared in her hand. The ripcord was attached to its blade. Both of them attached their Beyblade on it.
Shinyu took her position with the misericorde in her left hand and the misericorde vertically in front of her face. She gave an evil smirk as her eyes altered color. Sianna held her spear behind her, holding the top end by her right hand and bottom end by her left hand for support, and her left leg was behind her right.
Three, Two, One. Let it rip!
Their blades landed right in between both the fields. It all started with some crashing. Julia and Raul commanded their bitbeasts to come out. Both Thunder and Torch Pegasus came out of their chips. Both their beyblades were spinning round and round. Gemini and Dragittarius both came out too. Dragittarius was a female centaur with a black body, purple hair, and lavender eyes, and was holding a bow and an arrow. Gemini was different from any bitbeast. There were two fauns, one with blue hair and body and other with red hair and body.
"I've never seen two bitbeasts in one beyblade!" Hilary exclaimed which drew her team's attention. Kenny replied watching the screen of his laptop carefully, "It is not two. It's just one. They are twins." Riri grinned and made a pun, "Like, we didn't know."
"We didn't," Kai replied to her lame pun in his normal style.
Thunder Pegasus and Torch Pegasus were being shot by arrows by Dragittarius. It led to Dragittarius's energy to knock down to 50. The Pegasus kept dodging a few of them but the few that hit them had knocked down their energy to 90. Both the blades were still spinning round and round and head toward their opponent beyblades. Their first victim was supposed to be Gemini. They surrounded the beyblade and spun around it and came closer. They were thrown away as they came too close, for some unknown reason.
They changed their victim and choose Dragittarius now, whose energy had depleted to 40. Surrounding the beyblade, they crashed into it from different sides which led to the energy depletion of Dragittarius to 14. There was a beep and Dragittarius was eliminated. Thunder Pegasus and Torch Pegasus's energy was now depleted to 59. A strange mist started surrounding the Stony Hills' peaks and it was accompanied by Lightning and Thunder.
Julia smirked and commanded her beyblade, "Go to the peak, Thunder Pegasus." Raul's beyblade kept crashing into Shinyu's while Julia's beyblade went up on the hills. The lightning hit her beyblade and it was like the electricity was channeling through the beyblade. When it felt enough, Julia commanded, "Thunderclap Attack!"
The blade jumped from the hill and hit Shinyu's beyblade which depleted her beyblade's energy from 85 to 83. Shinyu smirked. There wasn't enough energy in both of her opponent blades now to do any more attacks. Shinyu's beyblade's energy was depleting slower than any other beyblade. Kenny noted it. Julia's attack made Raul's beyblade's energy depleted under 14 which made him eliminated. Julia herself was on 20. Shinyu's smirk angered her more. Her beyblade kept on crashing into the opponent's blade. Gemini slowly took Thunder Pegasus into the Glacier Field. The ice started to melt because of their continuous vigor.
It seemed of no use, Gemini wasn't losing its energy but Pegasus was. Gemini was sent aback and it started emitting some sort of blue light that turned the whole field icy, even the hills. Thunder Pegasus was almost drained but it still hit Gemini hard that made it jump into the air. While falling down, Gemini caught fire and hit the icy ground that made the whole field cover in mist.
"Looks like Shinyu have done her attack. People, feast your eyes with Shinyu's Freezerburn," DJ Jazzman said. The whole crowd stayed silent for a second and then applauded loudly. Shinyu has seemingly stolen F Dynasty's fans' hearts.
Julia couldn't see in the field. The mist wasn't going away. The sound of crashing was heard and a beyblade was thrown out. A beep followed it and the screen showed that Thunder Pegasus's energy was below 14. DJ Jazzman announced, "The winner of this battle is Shinyu Yotsume and her beyblade Gemini."
The audience cheered and applauded. Shinyu waved her hand to her new fans. Sianna hugged her tightly, almost breaking her vocal cords except that cannot happen as her vocal cords are already broken.
In the Bladebreakers' practice room, Kenny watched the battle again and again in slow motion and in zoom. The rest of the team waited for him to tell the specialty of the match. After spending more than an hour on it, Kenny said, "Guys, I figured it out."
"What is it, Kenny?" Tyson said hurriedly, not letting him say, "Spill it out, Kenny. Faster."
"I'll say only if you will be patient," he replied. After a brief moment of silence, Kenny tuned his laptop to them and said, "Did you see that Shinyu's energy level was lowering slower than the rest?" They all nodded along so he continued, "Shinyu started with 90% of energy. Did you think about where the 10% go?"
"No," Ray said. Kenny said, "Look at this video." He played the video. It was very slow and blurry due to zooming in. It was Shinyu's beyblade from close up. Julia's blade was about to crash into her blade but it was pushed back before contact by a spherical blue transparent sheet which was too hard to see from the naked eyes at the speed of the stadium.
"The sphere saved her beyblade!" Max exclaimed. Kenny nodded and said, "Precisely. 10% of the energy that was lost at the start was to create the sphere. The energy that was depleted during the battle was all used to repair the damaged shield."
"But isn't that cheating?" Max asked.
"No," Kenny said, "It is a defense strategy that makes her look invincible but actually is just cowardice. It is emitted from her beyblade so it won't be counted as cheating."
"Damn, she is intelligent," Tyson remarked, "What will someone do to defeat her?" Kenny thought for a while and said, "I'll figure it out later. We couldn't get anything of Sianna as she didn't do many attacks."
"Look for it, Kenny," Riri said seriously, "Sianna isn't weak. I am sure it was pre-planned." Kenny replied, "Okay, I will try."
In Frozen Dark's practice room, Alice picked Shinyu up and hugged her tightly, and said, "Congrats, Baby Girl! You won it and made fans finally." Shinyu rolled her tongue out to breathe, Alice almost killed her. She let her go. Shinyu wrote in her notebook, 'Thank you, Alice...' Alice read it and said, "Aww... You're welcome, Baby Girl." Shinyu wrote more, '...For not killing me.' She pointed out her finger in the air and said proudly, "Sarcasm noted."
Sianna came and stood beside Alice and said, "Stop encouraging her for pranks, Alice." Alice waved her hand in the air and said, "Shut up, Sia. Shinyu won't do anything. By the way, Sia, you did well too."
"You don't have to be nice," she replied, "I know I sucked. I lost in just a second." Alice placed a friendly hand on her should and said, "Look you worked according to the plan. You are doing well."
"She's right, Sianna," Naomi said while cleaning her shoes, "You put out nice show there." She got up and looked around, "Where's Joh?"
"He went to the helicopter hangar with Reo. Eleanor is coming," Alice replied. Naomi sighed and said, "Which means he won't watch my game? I practiced hard." Sianna patted her back and said, "Don't worry. Show everyone what the Apathy can do."
