Jiren was not pleased. Even though the strongest of the Pride Troopers withstood the combined assault of Hit and Goku, he found their teamwork annoying. Instinctively blocking Hit's strike when he felt another time skip occur, Jiren left himself open to an attack from Goku who punched the Universe 11 warrior in the face to little effect. Jiren backhanded Goku, sending the Saiyan flying backwards before he quickly blocked another one of Hit's strikes. Jiren prepared to strike Hit in the chest when the assassin activated his timeskip again, Jiren had already gotten used to how this technique worked and prepared to attack wherever Hit would reappear, however, Jiren felt Goku charging up an attack. Without looking, Jiren fired a red blast of energy that consumed Goku's Kamehameha immediately after it was fired, Goku being forced to dodge the attack.
Jiren was intrigued and annoyed. "Their teamwork is too impressive. Despite being from other Universes and not battling each other during this tournament, they seem to have a solid grasp of how each other's abilities work. Could they have met before?" Jiren thought as he blocked another one of Hit's strikes and sent the hitman flying back. "Either way, it doesn't matter. They still cannot defeat me."
Jiren watched Goku rush toward him for another round of attacks. "They will never win if they work together. The only way to win is to trust and hone your own strength above all others. Believing that teamwork can overcome an overwhelming foe is folly." As Jiren parried Goku's punches, he remembered what happened to his teacher and friends when he was young. "I learned that the hard way, trusting my allies to cover my weaknesses was pointless. The only path to victory is to grow your strength until it is unrivaled! Then you will never have to worry about your allies' failure to do their duty."
Jiren grabbed Goku when the Saiyan tried to punch him and then used him as a meat shield when Hit tried to strike at him again. Jiren then proceeded to throw Goku at Hit, sending the two flying into a rock.
"If he had fought me alone, he might have been able to obtain that form again." Jiren thought, remembering his earlier fight against Goku. "But now he is working with another and has lost the opportunity to push himself once more."
Jiren pointed his hand at his two opponents and powered up a red ball of energy. Firing it at Goku and Hit, he put in enough energy to blow the two of them off the stage if it hit them. Hit was able to dodge out of the way, but Goku was hit dead on by Jiren's attack and sent flying back.
"I'm not gonna let this stop me when I've got more fighting to do." Goku said, turning around so he was facing the void.
Goku powered up a Kamehameha and fired it into the void, propelling him back away from the edge.
"It's over. Give it up." Jiren declared rushing in.
Hit tried to stop Jiren, but the Pride Trooper dashed past the assassin and towards the Saiyan. Before Goku could place his feet back on the ground, Jiren punched Goku and sent him flying back towards the void.
"He's gonna go off the stage!" Beerus yelled, pulling on his ears.
"I wouldn't be so sure about that." Whis replied.
From out of nowhere, Gohan leapt into the air and grabbed Goku before he could fly off the edge and brought him back down to the ground.
"Don't worry dad, I've got your back this time." Gohan said, turning to face Jiren alongside Goku.
"Another one?" Jiren asked. "Your chances are not getting lower and lower. You're like animals flocking to the butcher's shop. There's no way you can beat me. You'd have a better chance of surviving if you avoided me."
"Unlike you, we actually watch our teammates' backs to help them when they're in danger." Gohan snapped back.
Jiren looked at the stands. Since he had last looked, both Kahseral and Cocotte had fallen. Kahseral's strengths lie in his experience and strategic thinking, which was better utilized in planning the approach to a mission rather than a battle royale; Jiren wasn't too surprised that Kahseral had lost. Cocotte was a bigger surprise, her barriers were a force to be reckoned with against most opponents. However, looking at her current condition Jiren could tell that great effort was put into taking her down.
"If they struggled against Cocotte, how do they intend to defeat the rest of us?" Jiren thought.
"Their defeats do not matter and will not matter so long as I am present on this stage." Jiren responded to Gohan.
"You're going to regret that at some point." Gohan said, readying to continue the battle alongside Goku and Hit.
"False. Allow me to demonstrate why."
It was a chaotic mess. With nearly every fighter remaining on the arena present in this location, there was bound to be chaos.
"The hell is even going on?" Champa complained as he watched the battle unfold.
Bollarator fired beams out of its eyes at 18, who dodged them until Ribrianne used her Maiden's Charge to knock over Bollarator. However, Ribrianne was then swiftly attacked by Kunshi, who wrapped his strings around her. However, Kunshi's strings were sliced apart by a claw swipe from Kakunsa, who lunged at Kunshi. Kettol quickly intervened and blasted Kakunsa with a ki blast, sending her flying back until she was saved by Vikal who swooped in and picked her up. Kakunsa then used Vikal as a springboard to launch herself towards Kettol. While she was doing this, she was almost sniped by Koitsukai, who was blasted by Android 18.
"Don't think you can escape me!" Caulifla yelled as she jumped off a rock, launching herself towards Vikal.
Vikal was too focused on keeping track of her allies to see who needed help during the chaotic battle to be prepared for Caulifla's attack. The winged warrior tried to fly higher in order to avoid Caulifla's attack, but the Saiyan pointed her hands backwards and fired beams towards the ground, propelling her even faster towards Vikal.
Vikal was unable to defend herself as Caulfila headbutted her and then raised her hands up together and slammed them down on Vikal, sending her spiraling towards the ground. Caulifla then fell to the ground, ready to stomp on Vikal when she landed.
"The sky can't save you now!" Caulifla yelled.
Caulifla was quite surprised, and then angered, when she stomped on a green barrier instead of Vikal. She turned her head to see Android 17 facing her.
"I'm sorry, but I can't let you take that one down." 17 said.
"You're not even from the same Universe!" Caulifla screamed. "Why are you trying to help this annoying chick?"
"You said it yourself." 17 responded. "She's annoying."
Caulifla leaped off the barrier in anger and charged towards 17. The Android was able to avoid her punches with relative ease. The more 17 dodged, the angrier Caulifla got and the more clumsy her punches became, allowing 17 to dodge them even with even less effort.
"Stop dodging!" Caulifla roared.
"Ok." 17 replied before kicking Caulifla in the face and sending her flying back.
"Sis!" Kale hollered, diving in to grab Caulifla before she was sent off the edge.
"Thanks for the save, Kale." Caulifla smiled as she was put down by Kale. She glared at 17. "You've made a terrible mistake! I'm going to clobber you until-"
In a flash, Kale and Caulifla were taken down before Caulifla could finish her sentence. Not by 17, however. Instead, Dyspo looked down at them as they started to get up.
"Sorry girls." Dyspo said. "He's ours."
Kettol walked over to Dyspo's side and joined him in his stand down with 17. The two pointed their hands forward and launched a barrage of ki blasts at 17, who raised his barrier to block them.
"That barrier seems rather bothersome." Belmod observed, with a sly smile.
"It can't do as many things as mine can." Cocotte huffed from the stands.
Belmod's smile grew deeper. "And just like your barrier, Kettol will be able to get through it." He looked at Kettol. "Kettol! The time has come for your transformation!"
The green skinned Pride Trooper nodded. Powering up, his yellow eyes began to glow until his red irises could not be seen through the brightness. His muscles grew in size until he was at least twice as big as he was before. A green fin emerged from his back, tearing through the back of his uniform.
"Not even a word throughout that entire transformation?" 17 mused.
Kettol once again didn't respond. The Pride Trooper then began to glow purple as he readied himself. Jumping up into the air and diving into the ground, Kettol did not break the rock, instead he appeared to phase through it, disappearing underground.
17 readied himself, preparing for whatever Kettol had planned. In the blink of an eye, 17 felt a presence behind him. He quickly turned to see Kettol jump out of the ground from within his barrier, in an attack stance. 17 quickly raised his arm to block the attack but was unable to fully do so in time, taking nearly the full force of Kettol's attack, which sent him flying back, deactivating his barrier.
Belmod grinned. "Kettol comes from a species of amphibious people from a swamp planet. Over time they have developed a technique unique to their species that allows them to phase into any surface and swim through it as though it was water. This also comes with a great boost in power."
17 stood up and fired a ki blast at Kettol. The Pride Trooper simply dove back underground to avoid it. 17 readied himself for Kettol to emerge beneath him once again. However, as soon as 17 looked down, Kettol instead emerged from a nearby rock and struck 17 again, sending him flying back before the Pride Trooper jumped back in. Just as 17 was about to land once again, Kettol emerged from the ground where the Android would have landed and punched him, sending him flying once again.
This time however, Vikal flew in and grabbed 17 before he could land, flying him out of Kettol's range.
"Thanks for that one." 17 said.
"No problem." Vikal responded.
"You're not getting out of this that easily!" Dyspo declared, kicking off a rock to jump into the air and propel himself towards Vikal.
"I think I'll take you on." 17 told Dyspo, using Vikal as a springboard once again to launch himself towards the Pride Trooper.
"Heh. Let's see if you can keep up!" Dyspo taunted as he began his clash with 17 mid air.
Vikal landed to face Kettol, Kakunsa jumping to her side. The transformed Pride Trooper was staring at the two of them.
"So you're gonna be our next prey?" Kakunsa said. "Your technique is impressive, but with Vikal's help I can remain out of your range!"
Kettol didn't respond.
"You don't talk much do you?" Kakunsa asked. "Fine by me. In fact that's good, it balances out how talkative your teammates can be."
Caulifla and Kale had been standing watching this situation unfold ever since they were knocked down by Dyspo. Caulifla cracked her fists and grinned as she watched everything play out.
"This is perfect, Kale." Caulifla laughed. "The annoying guy with the barriers is dealing with the rabbit man, leaving the winged chick with only one ally to fight a guy that was kicking his ass! We can easily step in and steal the elimination from him."
"No one steals an elimination from the Pride Troopers on my watch!" Yelled a voice.
Caulifla turned her head in the direction of the voice just in time to see strings of energy go flying towards her and Kale. Caulifla tried to jump out of the way but was too late, she quickly realized the strings would wrap around her.
"Sis!" Kale yelled, running in front of Caulifla. Saving Caulifla from the attack, Kale instead was the one that was caught by the strings.
"Not another damn interruption!" Caulifla screamed. "Who's the funny guy!?"
"It's me! I'm the funny guy!" Kunshi stood on top of a rock, the energy strings coming out of his hands. A big grin was spread across the Pride Trooper's face. "I was hoping to get both of you, but one of you will do."
"Kale! Do your thing!" Caulifla ordered.
Kale roared and powered up to max power, causing Kunshi's confidence to fade. She grabbed a hold of the strings while Kunshi was still holding onto them, and swung them, pulling Kunshi off his feet and sending him flying through the air. Caulifla then powered up a ki blast and fired it at Kunshi. The Pride Trooper was unable to defend himself as the ki blast scored a direct hit and sent him flying through the air even more until finally he fell into the void.
"Universe 11's Kunshi has been eliminated." The Grand Priest announced.
"Hmph." Belmod grunted as Kunshi appeared in the stands. "The rest of the eliminated Pride Troopers at least put up a good fight against the ones who eliminated them."
"I'm sorry…" Kunshi said, putting his head down in shame.
Caulifla laughed. "The shorty got what was coming to him!"
"Who are you calling shorty!?" Kunshi yelled, shaking his fist in the air.
"Now then," Caulifla said. "Back to business-"
Caulfila stopped when she realized that in between her and her target, was the battle between the Universe 3 robots and Android 18 and Ribrianne. Currently, the two sides were at a standstill, the battle having waged on with neither side getting the upper hand. Once again, something had gotten in between Caulifla and her revenge mission on Vikal.
"You know what?" Caulifla hissed. "No more games. I'm just going to plow through everyone that gets in my way. I'm sick and tired of you people getting in my way!"
Papranoi looked at Kale and Caulifla and then back to Ribrianne and 18. "It appears I have been cornered. Very well then." The scientist lifted up his staff and a blue light began to flash from it. "The time has come for us to unveil our superweapon! Koichiarator, your time has come!"
In the stands, Ea pushed up his glasses. "Perfect timing. Now we shall crush all the other Universes."
Kale, Caulifla, 18, and Ribrianne all watched as Panchia jumped on top of Bollarator, ejecting its arms out as it merged with Bollarator. Koitsukai then proceeded to attach itself to Panchia's head, who's arms then attached to Koitsukai. Just like that, the trio of robots from Universe 3 had merged to become one.
Caulifla snickered as she looked at the newly formed Koichiarator. "They merged together? That's like something out of a kid's sho-"
Caulifla was cut off when the giant robot quickly moved before she could react, slapping her and sending her flying back.
"Sis!" Kale yelled, leaping after Caulifla in concern.
However, Koichiarator moved at incredible speeds once again, appearing in Kale's way. Kale glared at the robot and tried to move past, but it was too fast, whichever direction the Saiyan tried to move, Koichiarator was there first.
"That thing is surprisingly fast for its size." 18 observed. "Let's attack from a distance."
Ribrianne nodded and the two of them fired ki blasts at Koichiarator, who swatted the ki blasts away without looking away from Kale. The robot then grabbed a large boulder and threw it at Ribrianne and 18, forcing them to dodge.
"You're in my way…" Kale growled. The female Saiyan powered up and prepared to launch a beam at Koichiarator from point blank. However, the robot fired a beam from Koitsukai's eye before Kale could even finish charging her attack, burying Kale in a wave of energy.
"Good Koichiarator!" Paparoni laughed. "Now finish her off!"
As Koichiarator raised its arm to smash Kale, a voice yelled at it from behind. "It'll take a lot more than one clumsy attack to take me down!" Caulifla shouted, jumping into the air behind Koichiarator's head. At full power, Caulifla prepared to launch her Crusher Cannon at the robot's head.
Before Caulifla could fire it, Koichiarator grabbed Caulifla in its free mechanical claw that was not throwing boulders at 18 and Ribrianne, and yanked the Saiyan out of the air. The robot then swung Caulifla around, repeatedly smashing her into rocks and rubble while it continued to throw boulders at 18 and Ribrianne while also shooting beams at Kale. Koichiarator then swung its arm around, throwing Caulifla right at Kale, knocking her down. Universe 3's superweapon proceeded to fire a beam at the two of them just for good measure, burying them under the rubble.
"That thing can do way too many things at once." Beerus sighed.
Mosco made beeping noises, prompting Campari to translate. "Lord Mosco says, Koichiarator combines the A.I. of all three robots it is composed of. Each one can direct its full attention to one task while the others are doing a different task without fighting for control of the body. They are in perfect harmony."
Ea pushed his glasses up and chuckled. "Combined with its speed and power, Koichiarator is invincible!"
Koichiarator then turned to face 18 and Ribrianne and barreled towards them at high speeds.
"Pretty Nuke!" Ribrianne yelled, launching her strongest attack at Koichiarator.
The machine was engulfed in a gigantic pink explosion as it charged right into the Pretty Nuke. However, it emerged from the smoke in no time at all with no change to its pace. Not only was Koichiarator not slowed down by the attack, it took absolutely no damage from the Pretty Nuke. Within moments, it was bearing down on Ribrianne and 18.
"The power of love has no effect on an emotionless machine like this!" Ribrianne cried.
"No, I think it's just really strong." 18 replied, jumping back in an attempt to avoid Koichiarator's swing.
18 was successful in dodging Koichiarator's swing, but was rewarded with a laser beam from the robot for her efforts. Ribrianne attempted to attack Koichiarator head on, but was swatted back by the machine.
"Hey! Bolt Head!" A voice yelled from behind Koichiarator.
The superweapon whirled its head around to see Kale and Caulifla had recovered and were staring it down.
"Let's see how invincible you are after this!" Caulifla roared. "Come on Kale! Together!"
The two Saiyans pointed their arms towards Koichiarator and each unleashed a wave of energy. A green wave of energy poured out of Kale's hands, while a red wave of energy rushed out of Caulifla's hands. The two waves of energy swirled together into one that raced towards Koichiarator.
"Koichiarator! This is your chance!" Paparoni ordered. "Destroy them in a single, crushing blow!"
Koichiarator fired a massive beam out of Koitsukai's eyes that met with Caulifla and Kale's combined beam. Without so much as a brief struggle, the beam of Universe 3's superweapon overpowered Kale and Caulifla's beam with absolute ease. The energy was carried over back to the two Saiyans, resulting in a massive explosion.
Champa began to sweat in the stands. "Dammit all. They're gonna have to do it aren't they? The difference in power is far too great." He looked up at the Omni King with a nervous look. "He's allowed quite a bit to slide so far, so hopefully this will be cool enough to be allowed."
The smoke cleared, and Kale and Caulifla struggled to stand up. Breathing heavily, they stared down the seemingly invincible Koichiarator.
"It's impressive that you survived that attack, but you only saved yourselves a fraction of time!" Paparoni laughed. "Koichiarator, finish them!"
"Looks like we're gonna have to do it Kale." Caulifla weakly laughed. "Do you still have the thing?"
Kale nodded. Caulifla nodded back and the two Saiyans reached into their pockets and each pulled something out.
Beerus perked up. "They have something in their hands. What did they just grab?"
Before anyone realized what was going on, it was too late. In a flash, the two Saiyans from Universe 6 were gone.
A single one stood in their place.
"A Potara fusion…" Ea said, his jaw dropped wide open.
"Is that even allowed!?" Belmod asked, turning his head to the Grand Priest.
The Grand Priest looked at the two Zenos.
"Cool!" The Omni Kings spoke in unison.
"It's allowed." The Grand Priest declared.
"Phew." Champa sighed in relief, relaxing in the stands.
"All Universes are now allowed to give their fighters Potara earrings to fuse." The Grand Priest announced.
"WHAT!?" Champa cried. "Now everyone's gonna do it!" Champa's fears were confirmed as he saw the remaining Universes whispering among themselves.
Back in the arena, the fusion folded her arms confidently. "Kale and Caulifla make… Kefla!" She said, deciding on her name. Kefla then powered up to a Super Saiyan, her power spiking to incredible levels. "Man do I feel wonderful! This power is amazing!"
Paparoni grinded his teeth. "This changes nothing! Koichiarator, CRUSH THEM!"
Kefla laughed as she saw the robot charging towards her. "This Tournament's as good as won now with me here. What's your big tough robot gonna do?"
Koichiarator gathered power in Koitsukai's eye and launched a beam at Kefla. The Saiyan fusion just laughed and swatted the beam away.
"Impossible!" Paparoni gasped.
Koichiarator was undeterred by Kefla's defense and continued charging towards her. When it reached her, it raised its arm and swung it down with all of its might. Kefla simply raised her hand and caught Koichiarator's strike with absolute ease.
"Here. Take your weak robot back." Kefla sneered, kicking Koichiarator with enough force to send the hulking robot flying back.
Paparoni stood in awe as he watched Koichiarator fly through the air and land right next to him. He couldn't believe it, mere moments ago his ultimate creation was dominating his opponents, now it was being curbstomped by a fusion. He couldn't believe it.
"I was hoping Koichiarator would be enough to win the Tournament, but I guess I was wrong..." Paparnoi thought. "All my teammates are gone, this is the last stand for Universe 3…" The scientist quickly tried to think of possible ways to beat Kefla, but quickly dismissed each one.
Except for one.
Paparoni closed his eyes as he thought hard. "I guess I have no choice but to do it. The only way for Koichiarator to defeat another fusion is for it to fuse again. I've got no choice. This is the only path to victory left. It may kill me once this is over, but that is a small price to pay for the safety of Universe 3."
Kefla pointed her hand at Paparoni and his creation. "Any last words before your Universe disappears?"
Paparoni opened his eyes and smirked. "I certainly hope you didn't think it would be that easy. I came here prepared to take my own life if it meant victory."
Kelfa lowered her hand. "What are you talking about?"
Paparoni began to laugh. "Might as well live up to the mad scientist look that I have if these are my final moments." He thought before continuing. "Universe 3 has one final trump card up its sleeve!"
Paparoni jumped into the air, his staff glowing. "Project Anilaza: Is now under way!"
Paparoni's staff emitted a huge flash of light, blinding all in the arena.
