The night Marie had the vision of her mother, everyone who was linked to her felt her sorrow and anger. After she woke from her ordeal, swearing vengence, Toriel ran up to her and hugged her with all her might. "My child...I am so sorry..." She said, truly understanding the grief Marie felt. Marie hugged back, and began to cry again. Asriel and Frisk ran to Marie, but Marie asked Frisk to talk. "What is it?" Frisk asked, but looked at Marie's eyes, that now had a dark and serious look. "Oh." "Oh? OH?! THAT'S ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY FOR YOURSELF!?" Marie cried, now tears were spilling ever faster. Frisk was crying too. "Is this all just a game to you? And are we just your playthings?!" Marie snarled, her rage growing by the second. "Woah, hey kid." Sans chided, and looked at Frisk. "I know Frisk has done some things, but they learned their lesson." Marie cocked an eyebrow, and sighed. "Well, as long as they do not do it again. Cause if you do," Marie now had a very threatening tone. "I will NOT hesitate to kill you." Frisk nodded, knowing that they deserved this. "Ah well, I'm beginning to see more and more similarities between you and Sans." Frisk remarked, and Marie flinched as if she had been slapped. "I am definitely NOT a skeleton, not lazy, and I do not drink ketchup. There are a LOT of differences." Marie pointed out, more annoyed than amused. "Oh, I know. It's just, you both like puns, you both have the same powers, exept you being the Angel of the Delta Rune, and you both can be very ominous at times." All of those reasons were true. In the morning, Amber invited Marie and everyone to the castle, and everyone came. After arriving at the castle, they all got to stay in their own rooms, all of which were a lot nicer than Percy's house. After the tour, everyone broke bread at lunch, then they all practiced magic. Agate challenged Marie, and Marie had accepted. After hours of sparring, it was determined to be a draw. After all that and everyone going to sleep, Marie heard an argument from her room, with the two voices belonging to Agate and Copper. "They learned their lesson! We shouldn't have even attacked them in the first place!" Copper offered. "But they might not have! We can't endanger the safety of all humans based on a feeling that you have!" Marie frowned at this, and went back to sleep, knowing it wasn't her business. In the morning, Marie heard very loud crashing noises followed by explosions. Marie changed into her battle dress as fast as she could, and ran outside, only to find Marcus sparring with Justin. Marcus' theme was playing while he was attacking Justin, and after the spar, Marie pulled Justin over to talk. "Justin, there is something that I need to tell you." "Okay, what is it?"
"...and I am the Angel of the Delta Rune. I am the one destined to bring peace and prosperity to monsters and humans alike." Marie finished. Justin had his mouth gaping while having a shocked look on his face. "Thats...a little hard to believe, but it is believable because I've seen some of the insanely cool stuff." Marie smiled sadly, and filled him in on the last part. About how their mother was gone, along with most of their family. Pretty much only them were left. Now Justin was crying as she explained who told her all this. He lurched forward and hugged her with all his might. As the siblings hugged, a bright light was summoned, and the source was Marie's new locket. As it glowed, Marie felt a familiar warmth flow through her. After a little bit of it glowing, another locket sprout from the original, but it was different. It had the words, "Stay Brave", and the gem was orange. Justin grabbed it and put it on, and it began to glow too. Justin gave Marie a knowing look, and everyone was looking in awe. After the lockets stopped glowing, Marcus and Percy walked into the room. "What's going on?" Percy asked. "Percy...our parents are gone, and with them, most of our family." Percy put her hands to her mouth in shock, and Marcus made a saddened whimper. "I am the Angel of the Delta Rune." She finished. Percy looked at her with sadness and love and compassion. Marcus gave a sad look, and the quartet went outside once more. "Hi!" A sudden voice scared Marie so bad she jumped with a yelp. She gave a relieved sigh once she saw it was Amber. "✡︎ ︎🕆︎ 💧︎👍︎✌︎ ︎ ︎👎︎ 💣︎ ︎ ︎✌︎ ︎ ︎ ❄︎ ︎ 👎︎ ︎✌︎❄︎ ︎✏︎" Amber gave a confused look and Percy gave her a look that said, "What the heck?" Marie apologized and said, "Sorry. You scared me half to death!" Amber apologized, and invited the group with Agate, Copper, and herself to the kitchen. Marie suggested cookies and cake, and everyone agreed. At the prospect of cooking, Undyne, Papyrus, Toriel, Frisk, Chara, Asriel, and Sans all appeared, and everyone but Marie and Percy was freaked out by their sudden appearance. After explaining that they wouldn't hurt anyone, the sudden newcomers were allowed to help. Undyne invited Marie to cook with her and Papyrus, and she accepted along with Frisk. After slamming the ingredients onto the counter, a huge puff of flour coated the four. Marie let out a tiny sneeze, and Frisk giggled a little. Marie gave them a mock offended look, and Frisk playfully stuck their tongue out. After fooling around, according to Undyne, everyone got to the dough. "NOW! THROW THAT WATER INTO THE DOUGH!" Undyne commanded, and Marie used her magic to bend the water to her. (Avatar, anyone?) She furiously threw the water into the bowl, and Papyrus cheered, "THAT'S THE WAY, HUMAN!" "Now, let our hearts unite as one to create the perfect and most awesome cookies!" Undyne bellowed, and now had candied chocolate as well as chocolate chips. Frisk threw the candy into the dough as well, and Undyne cheered with enthusiasm. "NOW! It's your turn, punk!" Undyne commanded, and Marie now had fire in her hands to cook the sweets, and she used telekinesis to make them float as she used her passion to make the treats as fuel for her fire. As the cookies baked, Agate was smiling with amusement and giggling as well. After the cookies were done, they were not actually burnt, thanks to Marie. Before making the cake, everyone had one cookie. They were delicious. Now it was time to make the cake. Everyone wanted different flavors, so they all had a vote. Chocolate and Vanilla were tied, so it was gonna be a marble cake. Toriel was going to do the baking, since it was her turn. Everyone was gathering the ingredients, and Sans now had a notepad and was writing things down. "Whatcha writing there?" She questioned him. "Different jokes and puns. Judging by how many eggs this needs, i guess the cake outta be egg-selent." Marie snorted while Papyrus shouted from across the room, "SANS! QUIT BEING A LAZY BONES, AND HELP US MAKE THE CAKE!" Sans jumped a bit from that and mumbled, "Really chilled me down to the bone there, bro." "SANS!" Marie saw the opportunity and took it. "I guess he's gonna pun-ish you?" She said with a grin. Papyrus was speechless, and then Mettaton, who just appeared, threw a pillow his way. He caught it, and screamed into it. After getting his frustration out, he put the pillow down, and begun to pass the ingredients again. After a while, the cake was done. All that was left was the frosting and toppings. Chara now had several chocolate bars in their arms with Asriel, who had frosting in his arms. Marie was in charge of decorating, and spread it evenly on the cake. After that was done, she dolloped all kinds of different colors for the border, and after that was done, she allowed everyone to put toppings on. The left over cookies, whole chocolate bars, chocolate chips, marshmallows, and all sorts of sweets. Finally, after everyone was done, all of them had a slice each. Aaron and Misty were feeding eachother cake while giggling, and Marie gave them a smug look. After everyone was done with the cake, Alphys whispered in Undyne's ear, and she now had an evil grin. Marie, who was sitting next to Percy, was pushed into Percy, and their lips caught. Blushing insanely, Percy and Marie looked away and silently screamed. Then, Undyne made her way along with Mettaton, and "accidentally" nudged Aaron into lip contact with Misty. Aaron's flames were now a bright reddish pink, and Misty blushed blue. They were both freaking out, and Marie giggled. To get back at Undyne, she made her way sneakily to Undyne, who was next to Alphys, and pushed her in a way that made them kiss. Sans laughed out loud, and Marie laughed too. After the short scrap Marie and Undyne had, Undyne taking her spear and throwing it at Marie, and Marie catching it with telekinesis, and throwing it back, everyone was asleep, finally. The activity had made Agate a bit more fond of monsters, now that she knew that all monsters weren't bad. After falling asleep, Marie was deep in a dream. A dark force was covering the land, and Marie saw Yami. He was a darkened man, covered in HATE, and saw his LV. LV 89. Her eyes widened and she begun to shake in not only fury, but in fear too. She jolted awake in a cold sweat, and heard a huge clash. A thunderstorm had hit, and something else was amiss. She was hearing whispers in her ear, but she didn't recognize the voice. Soon, she looked outside, and saw someone that chilled her to the bone. Yukina, and someone else. They were a completely dark figure, but there was something that made the creature distinct. A blood red and glowing smile.
