-Day 24: Misaki and Gerald hang out part 1-

11 am

Raven Castle.

Knock, Knock.

"Come in," Gerald said wondering who would be the next person to interrupt his work. Could it be Takumi again?

"Hi," Misaki said poking her head into the room.

This Gerald was not expecting, "Come to comfort me too?"

"By Takumi's request I'm taking you out," Misaki answered stepping into the room she's never been in. She took a look at Richard's office and noticed it seemed like him.

"I wasn't expecting him to share his wife with me," Gerald laughed knowing there would be no way on this earth Takumi would share Misaki with anyone. It was still nice to piss Misaki off.

Misaki felt the urge to smack him around his head but today she was here to cheer him up. "I'm taking a break from work and so are you. Let's go have a day of fun."

"Really? Would love to but I have work-"

"That's been covered. Takumi will complete today's work as the clinic won't be opened today," She explained taking his jacket from over a chair. "Come on. Let's go."

"Well if it's all planned," He agreed standing up. "Where's Ceddy?"

She grimaced at the thought of being around Cedric the whole day. That man freaked her out. "Can it just be the two of us?"

"I don't go anywhere without Ceddy."

"I'll protect you," She promised.

"He'll still stalk us," He noted.

"As long as I don't see him then fine," She agreed.

He clapped his hands together, "Perfect."

"So where have you always wanted to go?" Misaki questioned trying to know what they should do first.

"Nothing. Unlike you, I've always been rich so I went where I wanted to go," He replied as though he hadn't just insulted her.

Misaki felt herself itching to just hit him once but she wouldn't resort to violence anymore. "Seriously, anything simple. Anything at all?"

"Let's go get some ice cream I guess. I never went to buy my own ice cream. Maybe a movie in a public theater or something. I could try," He trailed off not knowing what else he could do.

Misaki sighed. He experienced the good places in England his whole life so there was nothing to entertain him other than the small simple stuff. "Okay."

"Great," He said walking over to walk out by her side. "Where are we going first?"

"To watch an early movie? The theater should be empty right now," She though out loud. "Let's start with going to places with a small crowd in the day right now."

"Sounds good."

Fifteen minutes later.

"Innocent romance or All I Need?" Gerald wondered looking at the list of movies showing right now.

"All I Need, trust me," Misaki decided going over to the counter to purchase two tickets. "Innocent romance takes forever to finish."

"What's it about?"

"Business and family drama."

"Our life could have been series with everything that happened," Gerald stated.

'Tell me about it. A whole season and one long book," Misaki joked and laughed.

Gerald couldn't help but laugh. "We should start writing the script. Split earnings halfway."

"Thank you," She said taking the two tickets. They walked over to the snack stand. "Why should you get half? It would mostly be about me and Takumi. You're a side character."

"Yes but my existence would make the story dramatic," He noted looking at the selection of snacks. "Popcorn and a sprite. Why is everything so sweet?"

"The same for me," Misaki ordered then turned to Gerald. "That still wouldn't be half of the earnings. Maybe ten."

"I would be putting the money, thank you," He told the server as Misaki paid for everything.

"Takumi and I have enough money to put forward," She replied picking up her tray of food. "The movies starting. We gotta hurry up."

They went into the slightly empty theater room and sat down side by side.

"So she suddenly has a company?"

"He still loves her."

"Wow."

"His mother is crazy."

"I would not have a relationship with that crazy woman after this."

Gerald said throughout the movie. He dusted the bits of fallen salt off his body. "At least it was a good movie."

"It was," Misaki agreed while sipping the last of her drink. She looked at her phone. It was 2:30 pm. "3-hour movie. Where to next?"

"This is very nice and all Misaki but I think the workload I took on is catching up to me-"

"Woah!" Misaki exclaimed catching Gerald. "Are you okay?"

"Don't tell Takumi but he was right. My body is starting to feel weak and I'm exhausted," Gerald admitted feeling his body start to power down.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Misaki asked frantically. How was she going to take him back-

"Master Walker," Answered Cedric's monotone voice sounded out of nowhere and scared the life out of Misaki. Cedric took Gerald from Misaki and lifted him into his arms. "I will take the young master back."

"I had fun today Misaki," He waved like a little child in their parent's arms. "Let's finish the rest of the day next time."

"Okay," She promised.
