Sakura Lisel : I don't know about that but when I googled it I got Spider-Woman.
The Jabberwock of OZ : Yes he is trying, I was trying to find a way to make it look like he is trying without going completely 'let's be friends' but also not going one hundred percent in the opposite direction of 'I hate you all'.
thunderofdeath97 : Shame that they're finished but I did enjoy TFS while it lasted, it was childish at first but eventually it ended up being good enough to be considered an alternative dub (best one in my opinion)
Chapter 31 -
Harry's eyes slowly opened, he was tired but was simply glad he hadn't woken up to another voice again. He heard the sound of soft breathing, and felt a small weight on his chest. Natasha was lying next to him, her head on his chest with her arm resting over his stomach and one of her legs wrapped around his own. Harry allowed himself a small mental sigh as he looked her.
She was sleeping peacefully, looking like an innocent little kitten and not like a master class assassin. The fact that they were both completely naked underneath the bed sheets did not escape Harry's attention. He could definitely feel certain parts of him gladly accept the situation. She looked peaceful and Harry couldn't help but feel peaceful, if he could then he would gladly freeze time and spend the next few hours of his life like this. But regrettably he could not.
Harry took a small breath before gently extracting himself while taking special care to not wake up Nat. He went to the bathroom and after a quick teeth brushing charm he stepped into the shower after making sure the water was at an enjoyable temperature, while he could clean himself with a wave of his wand he still liked to have showers, he closed his eyes as the water hit his snowy white hair, he felt it run down to his neck followed by his shoulders then the rest of his body.
Harry was using his shower time as a chance to think, sleeping with Natasha had made things complicated. On the one hand it was a very bad idea, bringing emotions and feelings into things could affect their work relationship and friendship. When Harry and Hill had got physical together they had both made it clear that it was purely physical enjoyment, no emotional feelings attached. But Natasha was different, he doubted that they could maintain the same relationship he had with Hill.
This could end up affecting their performance in the field, Harry knew for sure that if he had to prioritize one person over the other then Natasha would likely come out on top. He knew he probably didn't have to worry about her as she could very easily handle herself out in the field, the battle against the Chitauri in New York was enough proof of that, but she wasn't immortal, nor did she have a healing factor like Harry did.
But on the other hand this could be a good thing, if it doesn't work out then he trusted Natasha to at least be professional enough to work with him in the future. But her life span aside, she was an ideal partner for Harry. She was smart, funny, mature, pretty, could look after herself, didn't irritate him and was generally accepting of him. In the field he would be able to trust her to watch her own back instead of watching over her like she was a delicate flower, plus she knew what she could handle and where her limits were.
As of the moment the main problem Harry had was that it was clear, even to him, that he had developed feelings for her, and he didn't like that. He could make a list of all the things he would worry about if he had gotten into a relationship with Natasha. Yet there was still a voice in the back of his head that encouraged him to try.
"Why can't things just be simple?" Harry whispered to himself.
A minutes or so later Harry found his shower interrupted by a couple of arms wrapping around his waist and a body pressed against his back. Just like that his thought process was completely shattered and rebuilt to focus entirely on what he was feeling. He felt the hot breath on the back of his neck just before he felt her lips on his shoulder.
"Hey." Harry said without turning around to look.
"Hey." Natasha whispered back before continuing to plant more kisses on his shoulder and neck, her hands rubbed up and down his chest and abs.
"Last night wasn't enough for you?" Harry asked in a jokey tone, his breath was slightly heavier than he intended it to be.
"Are you saying you want me to stop?" Natasha whispered into his ear with a low and seductive voice while she pressed her body more against his just as her right hand continued reaching down until it grabbed on to the intended target.
Harry let out a small growl before turning around and pulling her into a strong and passionate kiss that lasted a few seconds before Harry broke it.
"If you stop now then I am going to be pissed off." Harry whispered to her before kissing her again.
"Shouldn't you get back to Padfoot?" Natasha asked later, they were still in her apartment and it was lunch time, neither really seemed willing to cook so they had just ordered a take out. Natasha was dressed in a loose but comfortable grey shirt and pajama bottoms, she was sat with her legs crossed on her sofa with Harry sat next to her, wearing the exact same clothes, only his size.
"I don't really think we have to worry about that." Harry smirked in a knowing way.
"What is that supposed to mean?" Natasha asked, a second later she got her answer in the form of a bark. She nearly jumped out of her seat, only to be held down by Harry and who calmly gestured to Padfoot who was now standing a short distance in front of her. "Okay...Harry..." She said after a short silence.
"Yeah?" Harry asked with a small, amused grin.
"...The hell...how...explanations...the please...if you wouldn't mind..." Natasha said, eyes still locked on Padfoot who looked fairly unbothered. "can Padfoot teleport too?" She asked Harry.
"Yep," Harry nodded. "though he can only ever really teleport to my location."
"Neat trick." Natasha complimented, Padfoot barked and Natasha knew the dog well enough at this point to know he was saying 'thank you'.
"Excuse me." Harry said as he stood up. "Just need to go toilet." He said before he walked off, the second he was gone Padfoot jumped on the sofa, taking Harry's spot.
"Hi boy," Natasha smiled as she petted him. "you look great. I think your master is staring to open up to me," She whispered. "I just kind of wish he would trust me more, and be less worried." Padfoot looked at her with a penetrating gaze. "What is it?" Natasha asked, only to feel her body suddenly shake.
Natasha suddenly found herself standing somewhere that was definitely not her apartment, she looked around and noticed she was in a ballroom or hall of some kind. The people here had not noticed her though, they were all dressed in dark robes and had skull masks on, Natasha had turned around and had unintentionally stepped into a person, the person in the mask didn't appear to take notice but to Natasha it felt like he didn't even exist.
She could see him but she couldn't feel him, she hesitantly took a step forward and found herself walking through the person. She tried touching another person to see if it was a one off thing but it was not as her hand went right through the man she tried to touch, it was like she didn't exist here.
Natasha was looking around when she suddenly saw one person at one end of the hallway raise what looked like a wand, a deep booming sound came from the wand and everyone turned towards the person. Natasha walked through everyone until she reached the person who had six men between him and the crowd, almost like a shield. She waved her hand in front of the man and his men but none of them showed any visible signs of noticing her.
"Fellow Death Eaters," The man said to the crowd, Natasha blinked at that, that was the name of the army that Harry had told her that he had fought back in his world. Was this that army? They had wands and they were definitely dressed like Harry had described. Natasha stepped to the side so she could look between the speaker and the crowd. "we have been hiding, why? Because of the Ministry? No, not them. Because of certain death? No, not that either. Can any of you say why we have been hiding?"
Natasha looked at the crowd, none of them appeared ready to speak but all of them were clearly giving their full attention to the man.
"Potter." The speaker said, Natasha's head almost snapped in his direction. "We've been hiding because of Potter, or 'Grim' as he apparently calls himself." The man seemed to be sneering under the mask.
"Do you know how many of us he has killed?!" One man shouted from the crowd.
"Yeah!" Another agreed. "He's not like Dumbledore or the Ministry, bribes, lies and false promises won't work on him. Those he doesn't kill he forces into unbreakable vows and magical oaths!"
"My cousin was found hanging from a tree!" Another cried. "I know it was Potter who did it and I am not risking him doing the same to me!"
"He's just a half-blood!" The speaker shouted. "He's not even half as old as Dumbledore or the dark lord! We can beat him, yes he is a powerful but that doesn't mean we have to fight him one on one."
"He's faced higher numbers in a fight before!" One person yelled.
"I once saw him kill people with a single piercing spell." Another shouted.
"Look," The speaker growled. "we can beat him if we work together! We are all purebloods! Pure blooded members of the dark lord's forces, surely we can beat one single half-blood brat!"
"You're going to die." One voice spoke, Natasha and everyone saw one man calmly walk through the crowd until he was at the front. "You'll be crying and begging for mercy." He said.
"Oh and Potter's going to make me beg?" The man scoffed in a disbelieving voice.
"Yes," The man said as he pulled down the hood of his robes, reveling some very mess black hair. He then pulled off his mask, his face was one that Natasha knew all to well, his green eyes opened and stared at the speaker. "I will."
"Potter!" The speaker gasped along with most of the hall as they all took a step back. "S...surrender," The speaker recovered and was now trying to sound brave. "you are outmatched and outnumbered." A second after he had said that the back of the hall burst open as a small army of people in black robes with their hoods up and shadows covering their faces rushed into the room and began firing at the Death Eaters.
Natasha watched as Harry had flicked his wrist and his wand came into his hand, he quickly raised it and shot down the six men in-between him and the speaker with impressive speed, only one of those men were able to get a shot off and had just narrowly missed Harry. The speaker had his wand out and aimed it at Harry, he fired a spell but Harry put up a shield which deflected it back at the man.
The man cursed as he fell to the floor with a broken knee, Harry walked over to him, he flicked his wand which sent the speakers wand far out of his hand.
"No...please!" The speaker whimpered
"I told you that you would beg." Harry whispered before a green light shout out of his wand and hit the speaker.
Natasha blinked and suddenly found herself back in her apartment, in exactly the same spot as before. She looked at Padfoot who was looking back at her, for once she felt like she couldn't guess what the black dog was thinking.
"What the hell was that?" Natasha whispered. Padfoot didn't answer, not even in the form of a bark.
"Thanks mate." She heard Harry say, she looked up and saw him paying for a pizza that had just arrived before closing the door. That brought up a question for Natasha, how long was she in...whatever the hell that was? "Are you alright?" Harry asked as he walked over and placed the pizza on the table before he sat down after shooing Padfoot off of his seat.
"I'm fine," Natasha said after a brief headshake. "I was just thinking about something." She realized that she had just seen what was more than likely a piece from Harry's past life, the question now was how did that happen? She remembered that she had been looking at Padfoot when it happened, did Padfoot do that? If so then why?
Was he trying to test her? See if she would be turned off from Harry by those memories? If that was the case then Natasha felt that Padfoot underestimated her. She was tempted to ask Harry about it but restrained herself, she knew he didn't really like his past, nor did she like talking about it.
"What was it?" Harry asked as he opened the pizza box.
"It's not important." Natasha said as she took one slice, she saw Harry give her a slightly disbelieving look. "I promise you that it's nothing that needs to be discussed now."
"I will take your word for it." Harry sighed before taking his own slice. "But if you want to talk then I am here."
"I knew you were a softy." Natasha joked before taking a bite.
"I swear I will turn all of your things pink." Harry warned her before taking his own bite.
"Softy." Natasha said in a sing song voice.
"Shut it." Harry rolled his eyes.
Omake 1:
"Hey, do you think I can fit an entire packet of these sweets in my mouth?" Thor asked.
"You're a hazard to society and an idiot." Loki replied.
"And a coward, go for two packets." Harry added.
Omake 2 :
At Loki's funeral Harry sneaks up to the coffin after everybody has left the room.
"Alright you little shit, get the fuck out, I know you're still alive." Harry said as he slaps the coffin.
"What?!" Loki bursts out. "How?!"
"Because I already experienced this trick one time with a red headed idiot named Fred and his prick of a twin. Now get the fuck before I set you on fire."
Omake 3 :
"Damn you!" Harry roared as he continued to punch an unconscious bad guy.
"Wow, what did he do?" Tony asked, slightly scared by Harry.
"He ruined the tea." Clint whispered.
"I'm sorry, can you repeat that?" Steve blinked.
"He ruined the tea." Natasha shrugged.
"But I thought Harry doesn't even like tea." Thor frowned.
"Oh I don't," Harry said as he paused. "but I'm British so..." Harry shrugged before going back to punching.
"Makes perfect sense to me." Jarvis commented.
Omake 4:
"Hey Harry," Tony called. "meet my new business partner, his name is John."
"Oh hi, I..." Harry turns only to find a man who looks like Vernon Dursley.
"Harry?" Tony asked. "Are you alright? You're looking a little...Harry no! Harry no! Put the chainsaw down!"
Omake 5:
"Oh there are no fries left," Pepper frowned as she sat with all the male Avengers apart from Harry who was sat in a corner of the room. "I'll just take one from Harry's pile, I'm sure he won't mind."
"No!" All the other Avengers hissed.
"Why not?" Pepper frowned.
"The last time somebody tried to take some of Harry's food they ended up hanging upside down as a frog." Tony whispered.
"That story is true and that person is him." Steve added as he gestured to Tony.
"Oh hey guys," Natasha said as she walks in, she walks past the group and walks over to Harry. The group gasp when they saw her take one of his fries. "thanks sweetie." She smiles and kisses his cheek before walking off. Harry mutters under his breath before he continues eating while the group stare with disbelief.
"Oh it must be safe now." Thor smiled before walking over to Harry.
"Should we stop him?" Clint whispered to Tony just before Thor flew over their heads and crashed into a wall.
"Too late." Tony sighed.
