I know I haven't been updating as fast as I normally have. But real life has been getting in the way. I still have to go to work and it has been busy lately. So some days I am tired when I get home so I take a nap rather then write. But don't worry I will finish this.

Part 24

Caitlin walked into her apartment to find Barry pulling Chinese take out, out of bags and placing it on the table.

"So how was the first day Dr. Snow?"

"Great Mr. Allen. By the way Cisco is campaigning to be your best man."

"Well it is going to be either him or Eddie. Any idea who you are going to pick as maid of honor?"

"Actually I might have a matron of honor. If I pick Iris it would be matron of honor because she is married."

"Whatever you choose. Iris, you have known for nearly as long as you have known me. But you are closer to Kara and Alex."

"I know. That is what is going to make this hard. I don't want to hurt any of them."

"Cait, they will be ok with whatever you decide."

"I know. But how do I choose?"

"Well of the three who would you say is your best friend?"

"Either Kara or Alex. I just connect more with them. Iris is great. But she just doesn't understand my love of science. Kara, may not have chosen to go into science but she understands what I talk about it. Iris looks at me like I am speaking another language."

"Well in away you are."

"Oh shut up. You are the same way."

"Yeah I know. That is one of the many reasons I fell in love with you."

"Oh really? What are some of the others?"

"Well, you are beautiful not just on the outside. But even more on the inside. You are the smartest person I know. You are loyal to those you care about. You have made my life so much better just by coming into it."

"Barry, until I met you I am not sure I truly knew what love was. I know my parents love me. But that is expected of them. But I never expected anyone else to love me. Least of all you. When you told me you loved me the first time. Back after the accident I was surprised. I heard you. I had just lost Ronnie so I wasn't ready to start anything with anyone. But hearing you tell me that it made start to heal. I just wished we had figured things out so much sooner."

"I think that our relationship happened the way it did for a reason. I wouldn't change anything about it."

"The only thing I would change is Ronnie dying."

"We can't change the past. We just have to keep moving forward."

"Yeah I know. But meeting you is something I would never change."

"Me neither."

"Even though I was not the boy you wanted to move in?"

"Yes. Cait, if it had been a boy that moved in instead of you he could have ended up being another Tony Woodward."

"Good point."

"Besides why would I want to lose the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. Well not counting my mom. But if I was attracted to my mom that would cause all kinds of issues."

"Yeah it kind of would. That whole Oedipus Rex thing."

"Yeah that guy had some real issues. Now back to the maid of honor thing. You could put their names in a hat and pull one out."

"I don't know."

"Well if it helps I am leaning more to Cisco then Eddie."

"Actually it does. I know who I am going to choose now."

"Any hints?"

"I think that she should know first."

"Yeah I guess you are right. I think I will call Cisco tomorrow and let him know that I want him to be my best man."

"How about you take him out for a drink to tell him. But make sure he knows that there are to be no strippers at the bachelor party or I will kick his scrawny ass and if that doesn't work I do know how to preform a lobotomy."

"That actually will scare him to death."

"Good. Now Mr. Allen why don't we curl up in our bed and watch something on Netflix and chill."

"Netflix and chill? Why Dr. Snow do you know what you are proposing?"

"Of course I do Mr. Allen."

Barry took Caitlin's hand and they headed to the bed room. Caitlin smiled as she started to undress her future husband. She had lost track of the number of times that she had seen Barry without a shirt on. It was a sight that she never tired of. Barry had the body of runner. Which in Caitlin's mind was what made him so hot. While she had been attracted to Ronnie and his football player build. It was pure physical attraction where with Barry it was something more. Something deeper. Barry slowly undressed the only woman that he has ever loved. He kissed his way down her neck starting at her ear. She let out a moan. She smiled when her body pressed up against Barry's.

"We should move this to the bed." Said Caitlin

"Yeah we should."

They made love until they both passed out from exhaustion.
