This chapter does not include any episodes, and is an original mission

I sighed, concentrating and turning the page, finally getting past the concept of healing a broken bone. Thank god, maybe now I could actually do better at Medical Ninjutsu.

"Tessa." I looked up from the book, seeing Shizune standing in front of me. "Lady Tsunade would like to see you in her office." I nodded, putting the book back in my bag and getting up off the small couch. Luckily Tsunade's office was just around the corner from this room that she was teaching me in.

When I walked in, the room was filled. The first thing I noticed was Angel standing in the room, her pink hair the most recognizable. Next to her were two other girls, one with short black hair, the other with long dark bluish hair. Next to Angel was a woman with fiery red hair with a flak jacket on, probably a Jonin. Next to them stood Naruto, Kiba and Shikamaru. I walked in with a confused look on my face, standing next to Shikamaru.

"You called for me, Lady Tsunade?" She looked up at me and smiled.

"Yes, I did." I looked over at Angel's team before giving her a smile.

"Hi Tess." She smiled and came over, giving me a hug. I grinned and hugged her back before Tsunade cleared her throat, making me stand back next to Shikamaru and gently nudge him with my elbow, giving him a smirk.

"I called you all here because we received an extremely important mission, and we don't have the Jonin or Chunin power for it, hence why we have all of you." She looked at all eight of us with seriousness.

"What is it?" Asked the girl with the short black hair. Tsunade stood up, putting her hands down on the desk and leaned forward slightly.

"We received a mission that the Prince from the Land of Moon was here for a time, but now he needs an escort back with his caravan." I raised my eyebrow, exchanging a glance with Shikamaru who groaned.

"We're guarding a Prince?" He asked lazily, looking back at Tsunade more than unimpressed.

"A Prince? From where?" The girl with the long dark blue hair asked.

"Who cares, I need money." Angel said boredly. I turned to see the Jonin with them getting an anime vein in her forehead.

"She literally just said from the Land of Moon, idiot." Kiba retorted to the girl with the long dark hair.

"Who are you calling an idiot, disgusting ass dog?!" the girl who asked yelled. Akamaru barked in response, though I'm not sure anyone knew what he said. I looked over at Kiba, glaring at him.

"You're one to talk, idiot." Naruto groaned, ignoring all of us and crossing his arms as Kiba and the girl yelled back and forth at each other.

"I dunno Grandma Tsunade, this mission seems kind of lame, and besides, I need to get training." I heard Shikamaru beside me sigh in annoyance.

"What a drag. Are you sure you want to assign this team?" He asked, his patience clearly wearing thin. He looked like he was almost pleading she would say no. I looked back to see Tsunade's eyebrow twitching in anger before raising her voice.

"That's enough!" The entire room went silent, people no longer yelling at each other. "This is an important mission. I don't care how you guys get along, or if you even get along, just so long as you do it!" No one said anything, Tsunade turning back to Angel's team. "Now, this is Ami Zorro, the leader of Team 20." She then turned to us. "This is...a made up team." Tsunade said deadpanning. "Made up of Naruto Uzumaki, Kiba Inuzuka, and Tessa Cabrera, lead by Shikamaru Nara." She said, looking at the Jonin, Ami.

"Sorry Lady Tsunade, but its good to see you again." Ami said. Tsunade only nodded respectfully before continuing.

"Both of your teams will be traveling together. While you work together, your teams are your own responsibility. We don't quite know who is looking for the Prince or why. All that matters is that you escort him home. Safely." She added, narrowing her eyes.

"Yes ma'am." Angel replied respectfully. I nodded, as did Shikamaru. Naruto groaned even louder making me glare at him.

"I dont have time for this! I need to be training!" Naruto repeated with frustration, leaning forward eagerly.

"Naruto, shut up!" I whispered loudly. Kiba only rolled his eyes.

"Why, so you can bring back your precious Sasuke?" He said sharply. I let out a little gasp and looked at him angrily.

"Kiba!" I scolded. The Jonin Ami finally turned around and glared at all of us darkly, snapping.

"Behave yourselves now!" Everyone stopped, looking at her terrified, me just looking at her with a raised eyebrow. Hn. She doesn't scare me.

Angel actually moved behind me, shaking. I looked at Angel for a moment, who seemed genuinely scared, and looked back at Tsunade who looked like she was about to have an aneurysm.

"Just bring the Prince in, please." She said in a tired tone. I turned around as did the rest of my team, in time to see Kotetsu open the door, a boy who looked slightly older than us walk in. His hair was green, and he had a nice black shirt and pants. Well, at least he dressed a little more casually than you'd think a Prince would. Although he strode in like he owned the place.

"Hello! A pleasure to meet you all I'm sure!" The Prince said, gazing at us all.

"Why do I have a bad feeling about him?" Angel asked, gazing at him. Ami walked up to him with a welcoming face.

"Hello, I'm Ami Zorro. These three," she turned towards her squad. "are.." She looked at them.

"Angel Zorro." Angel introduced herself.

"Sango Uchiha." The girl with the short black hair said.

"Aoi Zorro." Aoi said, still showing a slightly fearful face from Ami earlier. The Prince nodded at each of them, a smile on his face. He walked over to Shikamaru expectantly. I nudged him in the ribs when Shika didn't move.

"He wants you to introduce us." I whispered to Shikamaru.

"Huh?" He asked, looking in disbelief. The Prince nodded his head.

"Well, continue." Shikamaru groaned.

"What a drag. I'm Shikamaru Nara. This is Naruto Uzumaki, Kiba Inuzuka and Tessa Cabrera." I turned my head to Shikamaru, deadpanning.

"Your enthusiasm inspires us all." I teased, giggling. The Prince stepped closer to me, his eyes widened. I looked over at him confused, when he smiled.

"What a beautiful young woman. And you're a ninja? Wow, I can't believe you're protecting me." I raised my eyebrow at the prince, Kiba making a sound of him holding in laughter.

"Uhh..thanks I guess?" I said, backing away from him.

"Ew.." Angel whispered, her eyes glancing between the Prince and I.

"Sir, we do ask that you please be respectful to the ninja here." Ami said politely, though, I could see a fresh vein popping out the slightest bit.

"Mom's trying not to blow up." Angel whispered in my ear, leaning close to me.

"Oh, of course, of course." The Prince responded to Ami distractedly. I slightly nodded at Angel's comment before looking at her.

"Help me." I whispered. The Prince only grinned wider, looking me up and down. I felt Shikamaru tense up beside me, and I really wanted to beat the lights out of this guy, but I turned around in the opposite direction, ignoring him and looking at Tsunade. She nodded at me before looking at the rest of us.

"The Prince will be leaving soon. You all have approximately an hour to gather your things and get ready for the departure." We all nodded, the Prince sending a wave and a wink to me before walking out. As soon as he was out of earshot, I made a vomiting noise, looking at Shikamaru. He closed his eyes, tilting his head back.

"This is gonna be a drag. Alright, go get your guys' stuff, and we'll meet at the gate." Shikamaru said. He turned to look at me, giving me a small nod and then walking out. I walked out the door and into the hallway, when a voice stopped me.

"You okay?" I turned to look and saw Ami walking up to me. I looked up at her and nodded, a small smile on my face.

"Yes ma'am. I'm not scared of some rich kid." I giggled. Naruto growled beside me, coming close.

"He seems full of himself, I don't like him." I rolled my eyes, looking at him.

"You dont have to like him Naruto, you just have to tolerate him." Ami only smiled at us, before nodding.

"See you guys in an hour." She said, before instantly disappearing, making my eyes widen.

"Waaaaaait! Moooooom!" Angel yelled, but Ami was already gone.

I nodded at what Shikamaru was saying, walking with him towards the gate. After he had gotten his things (Which evidently was extremely quick), he had come over to grab me from my apartment.

"This guy is gonna be too much." Shikamaru complained, my hand in his.

"I already can't wait till this mission is over." I agreed. "I was so close to hitting him." Shikamaru let out a small chuckle.

"I almost wish you did." I silently laughed, a smile on my face. "How long do you think this mission is gonna be?" Shikamaru tilted his head back, looking up at the sky and thinking.

"Well..its about a 5 day trip to get to the bottom of the Land of Tea. After that, we have to get on a boat, and sail another 2 days to the Land of Moon. It'll be much easier when we drop off the Prince." I nodded, thinking as well. 7 days stuck with Kiba of all people? I mean, I'm pretty sure I could handle Naruto and Angel. I don't know Sango and Aoi, so I couldn't tell with them. Same with Ami. Shikamaru I knew I could handle. "I know." Shikamaru broke me out of my thoughts. "Kiba is gonna be a lot to handle on this trip, especially with him picking fights with everybody." I huffed.

"Yeah, what's his problem?" I asked, annoyed. Shikamaru shrugged.

"Honestly, he's just arrogant." Well, he wasn't wrong there. "His clan and the Zorro clan don't like each other very much." I looked at him with furrowed eyebrows.

"Why?" He shrugged.

"I can't remember. You'd have to ask Angel." We finally walked up to the gate, and we saw Naruto and Kiba already arguing. Shikamaru groaned again, pinching the bridge of his nose.

"This mission is gonna be a drag, Kiba starts fights with everybody." Shikamaru repeated. I rubbed his arm comfortingly.

"It'll be fine, we'll deal with it." He sighed, us finally walking close. To try to ease relations, I immediately growled and grabbed Naruto and Kiba by their jackets, yanking them apart. "Knock it off, we're not here to argue, you idiots!" Akamaru barked up at me from the ground and ran forward, biting at my boot. I looked down at him with a raised eyebrow. He's so pitiful, but I guess he has to stick up for his asshole partner. Angel then appeared out of nowhere then, making me squeal and jump, letting the boys go, Akamaru letting go of my boot and barking at her. Where the hell did she come from?!

"Heyyy, Naruto, Mom and I made lunch for breaks for the next few days. Mom is coming in a few seconds." Angel said, before turning. I looked with her to see her teammates Sango and Aoi coming with their bags as well.

"Oh thank god, Angel. I need a girl around on this team seeing how Sakura isn't here." Aoi looked at me with a raised eyebrow.

"Um, hello." She said sarcastically, moving her arms down, motioning to her self.

"Hn." Sango only said, making Angel sweat drop.

"Well yeah, you guys are girls too, I just meant, that I already know Angel, so I'm excited to be with her at least and not just a bunch of boys. Although I'm glad I'm with a bunch of girls too." I laughed. "Angel basically ambushed me before, so.." I turned to her. "Which, I still can't believe that you and Shikamaru's dad both mistook me for someone else." I added, teasing her with a grin. She only laughed awkwardly, rubbing the back of her head.

"When Angel ambushes you with hugs, you automatically become her friend. There's no escape." Aoi said, looking at me seriously. "Also, you can get to know us on this mission. We're all crazy, but nice!" Her expression changed drastically, her voice more bubbly.

"Sounds about right." Kiba besides us scoffed, his fangs peeking out over his bottom lip as he scowled. "Bunch of stupid girls.." he said annoyed.

"That attitude is probably why you don' have a girlfriend." Aoi replied, her eyebrows narrowed down in either anger or annoyance. Kiba opened his mouth to respond, but Ami appeared in a poof of smoke, stopping him. However, it didn't stop him for long.

"What would I want with a girlfriend like any of you?" Kiba sneered. I sighed and turned to him.

"What the hell is your problem?" I asked looking at him. Kiba made a motion like he was gonna reply, but Shikamaru had had it.

"Enough. You're getting on my nerves, Kiba." He said. Kiba grunted, his face growing angrier.

"You're literally just sticking up for her because she's your girlfriend!" Kiba shouted angrily. I opened my mouth to say a reply, but Angel grabbed me, turning me around and making me ignore him. Meanwhile, Shikamaru looked up at Ami.

"I'm sorry for the behavior of my team." Shikamaru said lazily.

"It's fine, those two seem somewhat alike, so they honestly might argue the whole time." Ami replied, sighing and sweatdropping. Shikamaru sighed.

"Great, just what we needed." Kiba opened his mouth, but I pointed at him with my right hand. "Zip it." I warned. Kiba glared at me for a moment before slowly shutting his mouth.

"What happened to your hand?!" Angel asked a little loud, her voice and face filled with worry. My eyes widened in response. Shit, I forgot to wear my glove! I glanced over to see Aoi, Ami, and Sango's eyes turning towards me. I quickly yanked my hand back, hiding it behind my back.

"Nothing." I said quickly, dodging her eyes. I forgot she hadn't seen my magic yet. Boy, she's gonna get a surprise. Naruto had to open his damn mouth though.

"Oh, it's so cool, Tessa can do this thing where-" I knocked Naruto on top the head to make him shut up, giving him a glare. I saw Ami raise an eyebrow questionably, but not say anything in response. Angel however looked at me, worry still on her face. Sango and Aoi were watching me suspiciously with narrowed eyes however. "Ow, hey, what was that for?" Naruto whined, looking at me with pouty eyes.

"Just shush for once, Naruto." I said annoyed.

"I'm heeeeeerrrrrrrrreeeee!" A voice yelled. Great. I saw Angel's face turn downward in disgust. The Prince walked forward, ignoring the rest of his Caravan which included carriages, horses, and many prople. "Ah, well hello there!" He said while looking at me. I kept my expression in a smile but was internally already tired of this guy.

"Hello Prince Eito." I nodded my head respectfully. Naruto just put his hands behind his head and stared, Kiba picking Akamaru up and putting him on his head.

"We're almost ready to go, Prince Eito." Shikamaru said lazily, nodding his head. He looked over at Ami. "Strategy is my thing, can I talk to you about our squad set up?"

"Of course." Ami said, waking away from her squad. I watched with slight disdain that Shikamaru left me with the Prince as he talked strategy with Ami, but I turned to Naruto, putting my arm around his shoulder.

"You ready to go, kid?" I teased. Naruto looked over at me and smirked.

"Kid? I bet i'm older than you!" I giggled, but stopped, seeing the Prince get closer to me, making me uncomfortable.

"I'd love to have my carriage behind you, miss." He said, looking at me flirtatiously. I stared at him for a moment before realizing what he said and turning away, holding my tongue. Just take a deep breath. He's the client. You can't kill the client.

"You are very beautiful Miss Angel, and your bust size is magical!" I heard him say. I whipped my head around wildly to see him glancing down at her chest. Angel ran behind Naruto and I, her slightly shaking in fear.

"She's 12!" Aoi yelled at the Prince, Sango gagging in the background. When she finally stopped gagging, she looked at the Prince with narrowed eyes.

"You better be glad Ami-sensei didn't hear that. She can kill you with one punch." I sighed after hearing them.

"Great, another perv.." I mumbled under my breath, exchanging looks with Naruto.

"Maaaan, I'd rather just have Pervy Sage."

This mission will be fine. I repeated to myself.

"Kill me? Please, I'm the prince of the Land of Moon, my father would have your heads." The Prince smiled triumphantly.

"Sir, my mom killed 9 ninjas by herself. Just stay on her good side." Angel replied disgusted. We all just glared at the Prince until Shikamaru and Ami came back over.

"Okay. The Prince will travel with us while the caravan goes a different route." Shikamaru spoke first. The Prince widened his eyes.

"You mean we have to walk?" The Prince said, exasperated. I smacked my palm into my forehead, sighing.

"Yes, we're going to walk. If your caravan leaves, then the attention will be on them leaving us to be able to go freely, leaving a 57% chance of us to be less likely attacked." Shikamaru explained. "However, That other 43% chance is because unfortunately there's no other route to the Land of Moon, so we're going to have two groups, one to protect those in the caravan in the event of an attack, and those to protect the prince, them following about 15 minutes behind the caravan to both provide backup and watch for an attack."

"Okay." Angel replied cheerfully.

"It's been awhile since we fought anyone." Aoi said, looking slightly disappointed.

"Please don't fight unnecessarily." Ami sighed. Aoi's shoulders dropped in even more disappointment.

"Ami, since you know the skills of your team, who do you recommend to protect The Prince?" Shikamaru continued. "I firmly believe that Kiba should be on this squad, with the ability to sense if an attack is coming with his and Akamaru's nose. I'm not positive on the rest until you decide. To explain the others, Naruto is fast and a heavy hitter. Tessa can sense strong chakras and maintains good chakra control, while also being a defensive hitter. I myself don't have a big chakra reserve, but my technique is with Shadow Possession."

"I think Sango would be a good choice to protect The Prince." Ami finally replied.

"Fine." Sango said, not bothering to fight it.

"Good choice, honestly, Sango can ignore his flirting." Angel whispered to me again, clearly not wanting to do it. Shikamaru nodded, looking at Naruto and I.

"Tessa, with you being a defensive hitter, I would also recommend you going with the Prince. If anything were to happen, you would be the last line of defense." I wanted to protest, but for the sake of the mission, I nodded. "Next we need someone who can sense if an attack is happening to the rear group if the Prince ends up being attacked." Shikamaru sighed. "I wish we had Neji, but we dont. Are any of the rest of you sensory types?" Shikamaru asked, looking up at Angel's squad.

"Meeeee." Angel replied.

"Also me, but I'm a medical ninja so my fighting isn't really that good." Aoi added. Shikamaru nodded, thinking.

"Then both of you should be with the Caravan. Angel, if we get attacked, we will be relying on you to sense us in a fight and provide backup. Aoi, since your a medical ninja, it would be more beneficial to have you stay with the caravan." Naruto stepped forward.

"Hey, what about me?!" Naruto asked excitedly. Shikamaru smirked a little bit.

"Calm down, knucklehead. With your speed and strong attacks, I recommend you to the Caravan group, mainly because of the more people in danger. With your Shadow Clone Jutsu, you'd be able to take them out quickly." Shikamaru responded. "All thats left is us Ami. Based on your skills, which group would you recommend for yourself?"

"With the caravan." Shikamaru nodded again.

"Alright. We can travel throughout the day. Kiba will sense when you guys decide to take a break, and when you do, we will as well. When the sun is just over the horizon, we can stop for the night and regroup. Does that sound alright?" Ami nodded.

"Yes." She then started to smile, letting out a small chuckle, making Shikamaru and I give her a questioning look. "You sound just like Shikaku." She added, making Angel chuckle. Shikamaru only groaned at this little motion of motherly affection from Ami, but didn't protest against it. I giggled and playfully and lightly kicked my boot against his shoe.

"Nice strategizing, Shika." He gave me a small smile that only I could see, before looking back at Ami.

"Alright, it looks like the caravan is leaving. You guys be careful, and don't let Naruto do anything crazy." Kiba snickered.

"Yeah right, that kid was born a moron." I turned to glare at Kiba but didn't say anything.

"Don't talk shit about Naruto!" Angel growled, getting mad.

"Angel, down girl." Sango said, trying to calm her down. Naruto meanwhile growled in response, starting to stomp closer to Kiba, but I moved in his way, stopping him and looking at him.

"Naruto, we can't afford to fight right now. Just get moving with the caravan, we'll catch up with you guys tonight." I said, looking at Angel, Aoi and Ami as well.

"Good luck my besties." Angel said, hugging Naruto and I. I looked at her in slight surprised that she considered me her best friend, but I smiled and hugged her back. Wait, Naruto is going with her though.

"Aw, how cute, you're hugging Naruto more than Tess." I heard Aoi said, a smirk in her voice.

"Huh?" Naruto asked, looking at Aoi. "What do you mean?" Angel quickly pulled away.

"W-What? I'm not!" Angel said, turning red. I silently giggled at her reaction, walking back over to Shikamaru.

"Bye guys, good luck!" I waved.

"Bye." Ami said, nodding her head before smirking at Angel, who was shouting with a red face at Aoi. I turned to look back at the Prince who was talking to Sango.

"You're so beautiful." He said to her.

"Mhm." Sango said, shrugging him off and looking away, annoyed. I ignored the Prince's comments, leaning against the wall next to Shikamaru who was looking up at the clouds.

"Last chance before we go, huh?" I asked, looking up as well. Shikamaru sighed.

"This mission is gonna be a drag." He repeated from earlier, not looking at me. I shrugged, looking over at Sango and Kiba.

"I just hope things go smoothly."

Things did not go smoothly.

I looked over at Shikamaru, the both of us exchanging glances. I was just as tired of the Prince's babbling and complaining as him. He just would not stop saying really creepy things, and while i was ignoring it, I'm pretty sure it was making Shikamaru uncomfortable as well. I slowed to walk with him and brushed the back of his hand with mine when I stopped, my head turning in the direction to my right. I furrowed my eyebrows looking, Shikamaru stopping and looking at me.

"What? What is it?" He asked warily.

"Something's wrong." I replied, closing my eyes.

"Kiba!" Shikamaru shouted, making him stop. Kiba turned to look just in time as I heard rumbling beneath our feet.

"Move!" I pushed Shikamaru and jumped away Just as a pair of hands came up through the earth where my feet were.

"Protect the Prince!" Shikamaru shouted, turning his back on the Prince, holding a kunai in defense.

"Another one!" I shouted, turning in the direction of an incoming kunai aiming for me and blocking it with my own. I turned just in time to see Sango block a kunai that was headed straight for the Prince, who stood in the middle of us, his body shaking in fear. Clearly he had never been in this sort of situation before.

"Damn it. There's 4 of them!" Sango shouted. I saw her out of the corner of my eye and saw her Sharingan activated, although, it was different. While Sasuke's had 3 Tomoe's, Sango's had one.

"Damn." Shikamaru cursed.

"Jonin Level." Kiba added after Sango. "Man Beast Clone!" He shouted, Akamaru changing into a Clone of him.

"Sango, look out!" I yelled, seeing lightning out of nowhere go straight for her. I concentrated my magic to make a shield over her and bouncing it right off, sending it back into a tree. I caught the shocked look on her face, but ignored it.

"Thank you." She said. She ran after the ninja who shot the lightning, going to fight him.

"Ninja Art: Lightning Chain!" A male voice shouted. I looked where it came from to see lightning coming straight out of the trees, aiming for Shikamaru. I made some quick hand signs in return.

"Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!" I breathed out a huge ball of fire, the electricity hitting it and making a huge blast, slamming me into the ground and sliding me across the ground on my back.

"Tess!" I heard Sango shout. I looked up through my hair to see her defending herself against another ninja, till a flash of red hair appeared. Ami. She kicked the ninja, sending him flying until he hit a tree, a footprint on his stomach.

"Sango, you okay?!" Ami shouted. I looked over to see Angel running this way with Aoi as well.

"Tess!" Angel shouted, worried. I saw the ninja who threw the Lightning Chain at Shikamaru appearing right behind Angel, bringing a sword down on her.

"No!" I instinctively raised my hand towards Angel, forming a barrier around both her and Aoi, the man's sword coming to a stop against the barrier. I could see Ami's shocked face out of the corner of my eye.

"Big mistake.. Fire Dragon: Iron Fist!" Ami attacked the ninja, her fist engulfed in flames, slamming his back into a tree.

"Where's the earth user?!" Shikamaru asked as I dropped the shield, looking around cautiously. A pair of hands then came up from the earth, grabbing Angel by her ankles and pulling her down into the earth, making her scream.

"AAAHH!"

"Angel!" I jumped forward towards her, grabbing her hand and landing on the ground on my stomach before she disappeared into the ground. I gripped her hand tightly, trying to pull her back but struggling due to the awkward position I was laying in. "Naruto!" I yelled, gritting my teeth. I could feel Angel's hand start to slip from mine. "Help me!"

"Right!" Naruto jumped and landed next to me, squatting and grabbing Angel's arm, pulling with his feet planted firmly on the ground. With Naruto holding on, I reached down further down her arm, grabbing it and pulling with Naruto. With both of us, Angel's top half started coming back out of the ground, before both of us finally pulled her out, all of us falling to the ground. Angel laid between Naruto and I on her stomach, us on our backs. I barely let out a breath of relief when I screamed next.

"Your turn!" I heard. A hand grabbed my foot out of the hole, my hands and fingers scraping at the ground to stop myself. I rolled around the slightest bit, instead making a scalpel of of my magic and leaned forward, slicing the hand holding my foot. It instantly let me go, the man's deep voice screaming in pain. I instantly yanked myself up onto the ground and out of the hole, turning in preparation to fight again.

"This isn't over Leaf Ninja!" The voice echoed until disappearing. I let out a sigh of relief, letting my back hit the ground, my head tilting back towards the sky. Being dragged towards the ground is terrifying. I heard Angel breathing heavily right next to me.

"Thanks you guys." She said. "Tess...what was that?" She suddenly asked, catching me off guard. I tilted my head over to her, seeing her look at me. Looking past her, I saw the rest of her team, including Ami, staring at me waiting for my response. I caught my breath, and leaned my head back down, looking back up at the sky.

"Nothing..." I responded casually, ignoring all of their eyes burning into my skull. I closed my eyes for a moment, just wanting to lay here, but forcing myself to sit up. "Where's the Prince?" I asked. I looked over to my left and finally saw Shikamaru, the Prince standing next to him and Kiba, me sighing in relief. Akamaru was back to his normal puppy self, sitting back on top of Kiba's head.

"Oh thank you, thank you!" The Prince ran over, a wide smile on his face as he stood over me. "You saved me!" I waved my hand, dismissing the Prince tiredly.

"Glad thats over." Aoi said, walking towards us, to Angel. My eyes widened however when I saw a black tail attached to her, swaying casually. It looked like a mix between a fox and a wolf tail.

"Whoaaa..." I mumbled, staring with wide eyes. A tail? Why does she have a tail? I guess its not as crazy as me having magic, but still..

"Aoi, your tail's out." Angel pointed out, still lying down. Wait, Angel knows she has a tail? Wait of course she does, she's part of her team. Wait, Aoi is a Zorro. Does that mean Angel had a tail? Oh my god, does Ami have a tail?!

"Whoooaaaa you have a tail?! Can I touch it?!" The Prince asked, immediately going towards her to touch it.

"It's a Zorro clan thing." Aoi nodded, looking at me. "And hell no!" She shouted at the Prince, running away from him. I saw Angel and Ami sweat drop. I sighed, pushing myself to a stand as the Prince pouted at Aoi. Shikamaru nodded at me, but he looked like he was already tired of doing all this work.

"Let's just regain our strength. That earth user might come back later, and we need to be prepared. Anyone with injuries should go to Aoi and Angel for healing." I put a hand on my hip and looked at him with a fake offended face.

"Um, hello?" I waved at him sarcastically. He looked at me and I pouted at him. "I'm a medical ninja too.." I fake whined. Shikamaru rolled his eyes making me break out into giggles. My head turned though when I saw Angel stumble, me running over to catch her arm and put it over my shoulder. I didn't notice it before, but her ankle was red from the man's grip, and bleeding from the man scratching and digging into her skin. "Shit, I got it." I said, helping her sit on the ground. I knelt down on the ground in front of her and focused my chakra, placing my hands on her ankle, concentrating.

"Awesome." Angel replied, watching me with a sparkle in her eyes. I glanced over when I saw a bright orange light, and I saw Aoi healing Sango's arm with some sort of orange shield, almost like mine. I looked back to Angel's foot, and smiled, seeing it was fully healed. I pulled my hands away and rested them in my lap.

"I think you're good." I looked over at Shikamaru to see a cut on his cheek, but otherwise was fine. I stood up and walked over to him, using my chakra again and placing my right hand on his cheek, healing the cut. He looked at me, the smallest of smiles gracing his lips, and I smiled back, stopping my chakra when the cut was healed, my hand still on his cheek.

"You guys should totally kiss." I heard Angel's voice say, making my face turn red. Shikamaru's face heated up under my hand, and he put his hand on top of mine, gently grabbing it and pulling it away from his face.

"Thanks." He said gratefully, but not letting go of my hand. He did however, look away from both Angel and I.

"I'll kiss you." The Prince spoke up, wiggling his eyebrows at me. I felt Shikamaru tense up, and his hand grip mine the slightest bit tighter. My eyes instantly went to the Prince, me glaring dangerously at him.

"Hell no, thats the only man she's kissing." Angel replied irritably for me, pointing at Shikamaru. I saw Ami watching us, amusement on her face. I turned away from the Prince, looking back at Shikamaru.

"We should get moving." He said, looking at me, before glancing at everyone else.

"Right." Naruto, Kiba and I said. I smiled and gently gave his hand a squeeze, being proud that he was still keeping a level head.
