Sabrina did as asked. But nothing happened.

"It needs all your attention, Sabrina." She heard Gloria's voice tell her.

Tiny fractures appeared on the glass before the whole thing broke and shattered on the table. Sabrina's eyes widened as she pushed back on her chair away from the table.

"You may or may not have some witch like abilities now." She looked back up at Gloria who hadn't moved.

"I beg your pardon!?"

"Like I said you can soak up supernatural energy and that goes for a witches' power as well," she steadily answered taking a few steps towards the distraught girl.

Sabrina frantically shook her head getting up from the chair and took a step backwards away from Gloria. "I just took that from you!? Take it back I don't want it!"

Gloria chuckled as she continued walking forward. "Sorry I shouldn't have said it like that. You're not a siphoner. You can only take what is given. I chose to give you an atom of my magic and that's why you have it."

"I don't want it," she told her in a firm voice. "You can't just go around and tell people oh hey now, you're a witch!"

"Will you calm down. It's not enough for you to cast spells, do rituals or anything of much significance. In time you'll most likely forget about it."

"This makes no sense. I have no supernatural history. I didn't know anything about witches about a year ago!" she knew she was yelling at Gloria's face but she wanted to get her answers and this was the first time someone was giving them to her.

"All magic is monitored by nature and it tries to keep some sort of balance. And if that means having someone with no relation to its world having its power than that's what will happen," Gloria explained.

"Nature can go do one. I did ask for this," Sabrina hissed.

"None of us asked to be what we are either. whether you're a werewolf, witch or human you are what you are and you accept it."

"That's a little hard to do when you've lived your whole life as a human."

"The visions should have been a sign. Magic if often times rooted in psychic energy."

"The whole town is something out of a Grimm's fairy tale!" she stated. "The abnormal is the normal in Mystic Falls, how was I to now?!" Gloria gave a stern look as Sabrina's tone continued to rise.

"There's nothing I can do?" her she asked relenting.

"What done is done. You've just gotta to live with it."

"What if I move to a secluded island with nothing supernatural, no witches, no hybrids, nothing to trigger whatever it is that's wrong with me." The stages of grief clearly weren't being followed.

"You could. But the real question is would you?" Gloria's question held a lot of weight. It gave her a lot to thing about and she needed to be alone for a while.

Getting up she headed towards the door. "Where you going?" she heard the witch ask behind her.

"To get a drink," she replied not looking back.

"Like I said Stefan, all good things must come to an end." Sabrina heard Klaus say as she placed her coffee cup on the bar counter and sat down beside him.

"No outside drinks," Gloria said standing behind the bar.

Sabrina didn't respond and proceeded to take a sip from the cup while looking at Gloria in an act of defiance.

She could feel Klaus' and Stefan's eyes on her as she continued making eye contact with the witch, while putting the coffee cup down on the counter.

"So did we figure out what's wrong with our Sabrina?" Klaus sighed looking at Gloria.

"We have. But she's not taking it too well," she replied as Sabrina took another sip now averting her eyes.

"Stop talking about me like I'm not here please," she muttered getting up from her seat.

"Were are you going, love?"

"To see Elijah," she replied impassively.

"I wouldn't right now, Rebekah is about to wake up-"

"Right, your sister," Sabrina cut him off. "And let me guess, if she wakes up and finds me in the warehouse I'll be her first meal?"

"Forgot how much you knew," Klaus smirked.

Sabrina huffed. Picking up the liquor bottle that was placed on the counter, she turned to Gloria. "It's on his tab," she said walking to an empty table.

The Bar had a different vibe during opening hours. It was no longer empty as people filled almost every corner. Sabrina had finished her coffee and used the empty cup to vessel to drink whatever bottle of liquor she picked up out of anger.

The first sips were a mix of coffee and liquor, making her contort her face at the bitter and burning sensation. But after a few more pours the remnants of coffee were gone from the cup.

Sabrina was lost in thought for a while. Still processing what she was told by Gloria. It played on her mind while stood in line at the coffee shop, while drinking her 2nd cup of the coffee at said coffee shop and now, drinking alcohol out of the same coffee cup.

Her head shot up when she heard a loud crashing sound. Looking up she saw Damon lying on the ground, beside him were pieces of glass and a broken table.

"You won't be any fun after you're dead." Her eyes shifted to Klaus who pulled off a chair leg and began walking over to Damon.

Her eyes widened knowing what Klaus was going to do as he held Damon down with one hand, and with the other he raised the make shift stake above Damon's chest.

"No, stop!" she called out not knowing what else to do.

The stake in Klaus' hand set alight causing him to throw it away with a grunt. Sabrina looked around to see where Gloria was but the witch was nowhere in sight.

"Really, love?" she looked back to see Klaus looking at her.

Her mouth opened but no words came out. Beginning to look like a goldfish out of water she closed her mouth and watched as Damon tried to sit up but was pushed back down by Klaus.

"You don't have to negotiate your brother's freedom. When I'm done with him, he won't want to go back," he taunted before getting up and walking away.

Damon groaned as he rolled over to get up. Once on his feet he looked over at Sabrina who took a step forward making her way to him. She stopped in her tracks not quite knowing what she'd say when she ran up to him.

The hesitation in her stride was too long for Damon to wait around. He was quickly out of the door before she could think of something.

Sighing in distraction she followed Klaus and sat on the next bar stool.

"You know," she stated.

"Gloria told me." He passed her a small shot glass before getting up.

"Where are you going?"

"To end the game of hide and seek my little sister is playing," he replied walking away.

Sabrina sat alone at the bar for a while. People started to diffed out as the night went on.

"Heard what you did," Gloria's voice spoke. She looked up to see the woman wiping down the counter.

"Do I call myself a witch now?" she asked raising a brow.

Gloria chuckled putting down the cloth. "It's unlikely you'll be able to do that again," she told her filling up her shot glass.

"On the house," she said before leaving Sabrina alone again.

Picking up the glass, she observed its contents before placing it back down on the table and pulled out her phone from her pocket.

She began to get impatient as the phone rang serval times. She let out a small smile as the dial tone stopped and she heard sounds of life on the other end.

"Hey Damon."

"What, no you're an idiot Damon? Are you trying to get yourself killed, Damon?" he teased on the other end.

Sabrina's smile grew. "Be thankful you got lucky."

"That's twice you've saved my life."

"I'm keeping a tally and I will collect what I'm owed."

"So," he began, "you're a witch?"

She was quick to reply. "No."

"Well what then?"

"It's...complicated," she replied as they fell into silence.

"You didn't have to go with him," Damon's unusual gentle voice spoke thought the phone.

"I know."

"Then why?"

"You know why, Damon. And I know you think it's reckless and stupid but let me remind you of what you did today."

"Touché." The smile on her face was accompanied by a small laugh. "I'll get you back, both of you."

She didn't doubt his words. "Stay safe Sabrina."

"You too."

A/N: So I tried to add my own little thing while keeping it close to the shows explanation of magic. I feel like it kinda works. This won't be the last we see of Sabrina and her new found 'magic'.
