[Yep! You guessed it! I'm doing Elliot visiting the hIve next! More suggestions, too! Give me ideas of what you want!]

Wally West didn't remember much of it. He just felt searing agony in his leg and arm, still smelt the thick, merciless smoke, the unrelenting shock waves of excruciating electricity, the metallic taste of his own dirty blood and then of course the dreadful nothing. That was it. However, it wasn't like that for Elliot Knight.

He had watched in pure terror, trapped in the modern apartment and unable to teleport him away swiftly. Jinx had already left for her small sleepover with Starfire, leaving the two boys on their own. They had initially been watching a simple, generic movie with scrumptious salty, sweet popcorn and some fizzy soda, teasing playfully with each other the whole way through. Elliot had admittedly sighed dolefully as the raucous crime alarm sounded, forcing his dear best friend to impossibly rapidly change into his flamboyant spandex and pelted out of the spacious living room. Elliot had sorrowfully wandered to the clear window that allowed the important sight of the bustling city, only to gasp horrifiedly. Overload was swiftly consuming the electronic shop, setting it ablaze frighteningly fast. Of course Kid Flash had to evacuate the screaming people inside first and was soon tremendously busily pelting back and forth, too distracted to even begin to notice that Overload had grown to a fearsome size due to his increased strength and was intently eying his new target insidiously. As soon as Flash was darting speedily back into the burning shop, the heinous villain malevolently struck his side frighteningly hard, allowing his voluminous electricity to jerk Wally's body violently. He had been mercilessly thrown onto the hard road, twitching aggressively at the ruthless electrical shocks with his left arm and leg bent at frighteningly odd angles. He soon fell unconscious, the terrified public screaming, filming and desperately calling the sincerely required ambulance. Their immense fear was nothing compared to Elliot Knight though. His petrified mind was clotted, frozen in time, and he completely seemed to forget to breathe. His frantically beating heart pounded into vicious palpitations and soon the world fazed in and out of sharp focus, feeling lightheaded and nauseatingly horribly sick. Elliot struggled to prevent himself from hyperventilating alarmingly fast, musing wildly only of rescuing Wally West as he staggered unsteadily down the much too many stairs. After horrifying ten minutes of finally reaching the plain ground layer, he staggered determinedly out and to the obscuring, vast crowd. Pushing and shoving roughly, Elliot violently thrusted his way through the mortified crowd and finally to where Flash was. Well, supposed to be. Elliot Knight felt a melancholy lump in his throat, his uncontrollable whirlwind of vehement emotions: fury, relief, fear, depression, panic and trepidation. At least Wally was in the safe, secure, hygienic hospital. Elliot spun around panickedly and advanced menacingly to a stupidly gawking, balding man. He aggressively grabbed a fistful of his plain shirt and wrenched him brutally to his own ( admittedly rather short) height, glaring frighteningly fervently. The poor man seemed very spooked and gulped fearfully at the fearsome, seething boy that looked like no one he'd ever seen in all of his immensely dull life.

"Tell me. Which hospital did Kid Flash go to?,"he hissed wrathfully.

"I uh- I'm rea-really not sure,"the innocent civilian stammered frightenedly.

With a composing, deep breath, Elliot roughly shoved him backwards and instead went to a meandering teenager that was glued to her sleek iPhone. He brutally kicked her shin, painfully catching her attention and she looked up at him fearfully, only to become entertained mocking.

"Tell. Me. Where. Kid. Flash. Is. Right. Now,"Elliot Knight demanded fiercely.

"Oh chill, hon. He went to that hospital just down town, you know, babes,"she snickered amusedly.

Elliot glowered seethingly at being called 'hon' and 'babes' but miraculously still resisted the strong urge to furiously kick her exposed shin again. But of course harder. He walked away stiffly, flinching as she mockingly cried out,"Bye bye, sweetheart!", after him. As you may have noticed, the traumatised former villain didn't particularly take well to being called vacuous pet names by anyone, but especially by small, teenage girls. 'Babes', 'hon' and 'sweetheart' surprisingly weren't his preferrarential nicknames, to be perfectly honest. He shook his head dismissively and began shoving violently through the gasping, gossiping crowds again until he finally neared the familiar hospital. He pelted nimbly through the clean doors, flustered and overwhelmed by his discombobulating feelings and stopped anguishedly by the shocked receptionist. Elliot cleared his throat shakily.

"I need to see Wally West."

Kid Flash was gradually blurring into painful consciousness. He was immensely bewildered to say the least, so he registered the small, befuddling aspects initially.

Okay… Let's start from the beginning. He was Kid Flash. He was sixteen. Elliot, or Ellie, was thankfully safe at their homely apartment. Jinx remained fortunately unharmed too. Wally was continually moaning softly. Then he noticed a truly awful agony in his left arm and leg. He could taste metallic blood in his mouth. He also felt like he'd been fried several times. Flash then recalled his disastrous fight against Overload and a disappointed sigh accompanied his pained moans. At least the innocent by-standers were safe. With great effort, he prised open his blue eyes and saw the world spin in and out of seeable focus, too fuzzy and hazy to truly decipher his strangely familiar, yet also unknown surroundings. Eventually, it clicked. Hospital. Wally blinked, only to discover pained tears streaming down from his bleary eyes and he barely distinguished he was on a comfortable hospital bed. He awkwardly looked to his side and saw a clear drip attached to him. He gazed down from where the unrelenting pain was throbbing and saw his heavily bandaged limbs were bent back to their natural place. Flash shivered fearfully and saw a kindly doctor stand before him, monitoring him closely.

"Where is El?,"the wounded speedster stuttered drowsily, unable to focus his spinning sight on anything at all.

"You mean Elliot Knight? He said he wanted to see you but we didn't let him. He's sat at the reception,"he explained gently.

"I-I need him,"Wally begged pleadingly.

The friendly doctor gave him an odd look before nodding. He paused again as he turned away and soon swiftly spun to face Kid Flash again kindly.

"Just so you know. You'll obviously have to have crutches for a while now, so no more hero-ing or exerting activities until you're fully healed. Oh and you'll have to stay in for the rest of the day, just to make sure you don't go into cardiac arrest after your electrocution. But you've gotten off lightly. Just to say, if you ever hallucinate or experience pains with your lungs or heart, come back to us immediately,"the tender doctor confirmed sternly, before softening and continuing,"I'll get him now."

He left calmly, leaving Wally West to sigh dejectedly and glare harshly at his vacuous bandages.

Due to Elliot Knight's undeniable stealth, he remained unheard as he crept besides Wally West and sat next to him, scowling fumingly at the stupid, injured speedster. How could he do that to himself? What had he been thinking when he stupidly ignored Overload's entire existence and allowed himself to be easily ambushed? He knew Elliot desperately required his important presence, so why would he do that? He could've died! Wally looked up and his wide smile faltered to a fearful frown at the vexed former villain's seething scowl. Shakily, Flash weakly raised his uninjured hand and extended it for him to take, more or less to comfort himself instead. However, Elliot Knight wasn't to be deceived- he knew he'd instantly melt. No, Kid Flash deserved his fervent wrath right now. Even if there were pained tears rolling down his freckled cheeks. And that he had personally called him in. And how he looked ever so weak and frightened. And… enough! Wally had nearly killed himself and Elliot wasn't giving into his pleading mannerisms. With tremendous effort, he slapped his hand away violently and Flash gasped in both spook and hurt.

Elliot sprang to his feet and loomed over furiously as he shouted enragedly,"What is wrong with you, Wally? You are supposed to be a hero! Supposed to be clever! So you decide to pretend Overload never existed, huh? Let yourself nearly die?"

"I-I-was protecting everyone,"Wally sobbed meekly, practically dispersing all of Elliot's incensed rage.

Nonetheless, he scarcely succeeded it in shaking it off determinedly and yelled temperedly,"By killing yourself? How'd you think that'd protect me? You know what, Wally? You're the worst. You're stupid, weak, arrogant, vain and just pathetic! You are no hero!"

"Please...Ellie…,"Wally weeped pleadingly, wincing bracingly with his blue eyes clamped shut feebly as he shakily extended a hand again.

He was expecting the insensitive slap again and more vexed hollering but instead he received a hitched breath and the dolorous beginning of sobbing too. Elliot intertwined their hands gently and desperately wrenched his damaged body to his own, delicately eluding his severely broken arm and leg on his left side. Kid Flash weeped at the horrible physical pain, but also Elliot's initial vehement wrath as he hid his face in the pale, cool crook of Elliot's neck with his unharmed arm limply hanging over Elliot's back too. Oh, Elliot Knight felt truly awful. Elliot knew he was solely supporting both of them in the tight embrace and guiltily felt disconsolate tears drip down his ghostly pale neck as Wally continually cried painedly. He himself had already stopped his pitiful sobbing but was still refusing to let go of the greatly wounded speedster.

"You're right, El,"Flash weeped barely incoherently,"All you said. You're right."

"NO! Wally! I didn't mean what I said! You're clever, strong and...and...my hero,"Elliot Knight whispered passionately, his amber eyes almost willing him to protest.

"Hero?,"Kid Flash gasped astoundedly.

"No. My hero,"Elliot corrected firmly, starting to pur fervently.

Evidently, Wally West always knew he was a Titan, a hero. He rescued people from blazing buildings, vicious capture and saved the innocent shops from continual robberies and other insidious attacks. People always gawked admiringly and swooned amazedly, showering him with simpering compliments. So of course he knew he was a hero.

However, what he had never known, was that he was Elliot Knight's hero.

His hero.
