We made our way to Ozpin's office as fast as we could. Once inside the elevator, Weiss pushed the button for the top floor but nothing happened.

I showed my scroll to the camera and the elevator went up.

" Weiss, Neo, what's going on ? What did you show the camera ? " asked Ruby, a bit distressed at our behaviour.

I showed her my scroll, and the two words taking up all of the screen.

Information. Urgent.

Ruby was about to ask again when the doors opened, signaling our arrival.

As we walked out, I was met with a gun shoved in my face.

" You ! " shouted a strong voice. " You are under arrest."

I looked past the gun to see a man wearing Atlas' military's attire looking at me angrily, it was General Ironwood.

" James, please, you don't see me threatening your students so I would appreciate you didn't threaten mine." I heard Ozpin's voice say.

" She was convicted for stealing vital military technology." said Ironwood.

" You know the Valean council doesn't recognize Atlesian convictions that weren't tried." countered.

" She fled before the trial ! " screamed the General indignantly.

" If she wasn't tried, how can she be convicted ? " wispered Yang.

" Contrary to the other Kingdoms, Atlas convicts you first and then you can try to prove your innocence in a trial." Blake wispered back.

" General. " said Glynda sternly, " If you do not put that gun down and let our students explain why they needed to talk to us so urgently, I will remove you from the school grounds."

Ironwood shivered at that and finally relented, removing his gun from my face. I hadn't stopped smiling during the whole exchange, but I would be lying if I said I hadn't felt tense.

" I apologize for General Ironwood's little outburst, miss Politan. Now, what did you want to tell us ? " asked Ozpin.

I walked to his desk and gave him my scroll, showing all the trading operations currently pending on Lightsticks' account.

Ozpin looked a bit bewildered at that, but Weiss explained before he could ask.

" We have reason to believe all these operations were scheduled by Roman Torchwick." she said. " Today."

Ozpin and Glynda looked down at my scroll for a moment, before Glynda spoke up.

" I'm still not quite sure I understand the point. Trading is perfectly legal, and I don't see why you would want us to do something about it."

" Yes, it is legal, but all of these operations are quite peculiar." said Ozpin. " They are all small enough to stay under the radar, but there is one for each public company located in Vale. And They all are about selling stocks at the beginning of the Vytal festival and buying stocks once it is over."

" That's stupid, everybody knows that stocks will only go up during the Vytal festival... Unless..." started Glynda.

" Unless something were to go wrong during the festival." finished Ozpin.

" Even then, for it to affect every company significantly, it would have to be massive in scale." shot Glynda.

" Thank you for this information miss Politan." said Ozpin as he gave me back my scroll. " Now we just have to figure out what problem Torchwick and the White Fang could cause that would benefit both of them and have such an impact."

I shook my head. Ozpin gave me a questionning look and I started writing my answer before Ruby walked up to talk for me.

" Neo told us that his freedom was very important for Roman Torchwick and that he would never do anything to threaten it. We... also learned that he had an employer, and Neo said that's a big breach of his freedom."

I was glad I didn't have to write all of that. I still wrote an additional information and showed my scroll.

Being well known is also a big problem for him.

After all, if you were a well known criminal it became very hard to buy stuff, or live normally. Life as a fugitive isn't fun.

" I see..." said Ozpin pensively. " You are suggesting that we shouldn't ask what he has to gain, but what he can't afford to lose."

" So we can assume that Torchwick isn't gaining anything out of this." said Glynda.

" You can't actually believe them Oz." shot Ironwood indignantly.

" I can, and I will. This is the best trail we have right now. The only one in fact." answered Ozpin.

" She's a criminal ! " argued the General.

" She's my student. And only Atlas views her as a criminal." countered Ozpin.

" How ? " asked Ironwood. " Her company is always selling technology similar to ones that had been stolen. They've done it so much it's beyond suspicious at this point."

" Economic intelligence services are a Council prerogative. I don't have any control over it." answered Ozpin.
