Chapter Thirty Seven.

Resplendent in his hero uniform, Dio Brando stood waiting for his new instructor, the pro hero Saxon, real name Richard Nagleshi. Dio did not care much for the pro hero, but he respected his raw strength. His quirk was a simple strength-enhancement Quirk, one which gave him strength equal to All Might, but employing such strength would also see him in hospital for weeks on length, so he rarely resorted to such levels.
As the clock tower banged out exactly on one o'clock, Dio sighed before heading for the Planet Saxon buildings.

In Cairo, Kalif Arabi, elder brother of Bkr Arabi, oversaw the removal of his Arrow. His Arrow. When had it become his alone? When his brother had died, when his family had left him in grief? Now, the last of the known Egyptian Arrow's was being taken away.
Already, faster than anyone could have anticipated, the remnants of the accursed vampire Dio's organisation were making moves. First, they had killed Bkr, along with several Japanese Heroes and taken one of the two Egyptian Arrows. Then, just days before, they had stolen away the vampire's remains from the Speedwagon Foundation's Macedonian facility. It didn't reassure Kalif in any way, in fact it made him more concerned.
Additionally, he had lost contact with Kakyoin not long before Bkr's untimely death. That was a matter of great concern. In the years after Dio's defeat, Kakyoin had waged a shadow war against The World's former ruler, only returning to help the Joestar's when their goals aligned. Such as training the two Arabi brothers.
'Hello, Mister Arabi,' came the gruff voice of a Speedwagon employee. 'Just need you to sign off on things, then we can leave for Tokyo.'
With a nod, Kalif Arabi signed away his family's burden, and with it he had earned the freedom to find his brother's killer.

He had been there, he had been there when the last remnants of their lords organisation had been demolished. It was a delicious memory, one which satisfied his perverted tastes greatly.
The times, however, were not. Nor where the those that followed. He had been there, when Mister E had battled the Joestar and Speedwagon affiliated Stand Users. Pet Shop always reminded him of those times, it had been the falcon who saved Mister E. Corswain was always careful in bringing those times up, not wishing to sadden his boss any further.
It had been close to ten years prior, perhaps coming to eleven years presently. Corswain always set his story in the correct time and place, he was nothing if not punctual. They had been running for so long, bleeding coin and flesh in equal amounts. They had been one score-strong then, of those, six were mutated slaves bred to serve his boss.
They had met their end in Canada, in the wild border regions with Alaska. They had found themselves a large lodge, empty for unknown reasons. He was reminded of the twins. Julia, just a child then, and of Rita, much older than the girl, but called twin for reasons unknown to Corswain. He did not trust Rita, even after all these years.
Mister E had lost three fingers; thumb, index and pinky, each belonging to his right hand. One of the Speedwagon agents had taken them, he had earned a slow death after that. They had travelled so far, engaging their pursuers sparingly, always continuing on in their retreat.
When they reached the border, they had entered a trap. Unbeknownst to them all, one member, a woman named Violet, who was possessed of no Stand but other, more carnal skills, had betrayed them to the Speedwagon Foundation.
Even now, Corswain took pleasure in the memory of killing her, disembowelment followed by a hanging. Not with a Stand, but his own hands.
He remembered the battle that had ensued. At three thirty-eight AM, the Joestar-Speedwagon forces had attacked. Led by now other than Jotaro Kujo and the thrice-damned bastard Kakyoin, thirty agents of the Speedwagon Foundation, and three affiliated Stand Users, had launched their attack. Corswain remembered that slaughter, unconsciously he pressed at his hips, feeling the false left-hip. Star Platinum had nearly crippled him.
His Master E, who had already lost his Stand, had been defenseless. Star Platinum had knocked him to the ground, all the while Hierophant Green peppered him with its Emerald Splash, crippling him. It had been the physician, Pet Shop and the well-mannered Julian who had saved Mister E.
In the end, they had managed to escape, few of them. In the end, they had fled to Japan, seeking to hide under Jotaro's nose. And it had worked, all at the cost of dozens of them over long weeks and months.
'C-Corswain…' he heard his master calling, bringing him back from his memories. 'Yes Mister E, just a moment, sir.'

Just off the coast of Kerala, a state of the Malabar Coast of India, the Splendid Pinion shun in the day's rays, bathing happy go lucky passengers, letting them develop healthy tans. Circling the cruise liner, a falcon faced the eastern winds proudly, eyes narrowed on an unseen foe. Along the port side, on the inhabited deck closest to the main, a man sat in his room, alone.
The physician sat alone, examining the remaining scraps of his lord. He knew not why Mister E, his de facto boss, had sent him to recover these scraps. They showed no sign of cellular regeneration, even ignoring the prolonged exposure to a varying array of lights. There was, however, blood. Somehow, by means unknown to the physician, blood remained in the few scraps of flesh before him. Even in the cells, it seemed as though the blood had been merged with it.
However such a miraculous combination had taken place, the physician was confused at every turn. Whenever he or his Stand, Chimera, tried to understand it, he was met by more questions. 'Truly, my lord was… Is a remarkable creature,' he said slowly, his words muffled by his heavy bandaging.
'Physician,' came a soft, femine voice from beyond his compartment. This voice belonged to Rita, the much-older twin of the group. 'I have news from Mister E,' she entered after that, not waiting for permission. 'According to him and Corswain,' she said the last name with disdain. 'There have been a large number of attacks in one city and several towns in Japan, victims seemed to have been drained of blood, or merely savaged. And, in some instances, devoured.'
The physician nodded. 'And, this concerns us how?' Handing over a printed newspaper, along with detailed, translated police reports, his eyes opened upon seeing a series of blurred, low-quality photos. 'Neck wounds, similar in nature to our lord's favoured drinking manner… Increased number of disappearances, assumed to be connected with human trafficking… Rabid animal attacks in towns and the named city, home of U.A. Hero Academy.'
The physician nodded, just as Rita continued to speak. 'The height is off, too short, also far too broad, not nearly as lean as our lord. On the other hand, the hair is very similar to his own, the outfit is also similar to something Mister E claimed to have seen before,' se paused, before pointing to a blurry mask. 'Also, the Arabi brothers' death, he died in a similar matter. A half-competent Stand User who guarded an Arrow…'
The physician nodded before speaking again. 'Yes, my dear Rita, I believe we have found evidence of our lord's survival.'
With a smile, Rita departed.

Alright, may go on a hiatus some time soon, just letting you all know in advance.
