The next morning I just laughed as my mother attacked my brother on being late for school, again. He makes me late, but my teachers understand because of my grades, so I'm good. Our mom then said that she was going to be calling the office to check to see if he was in school.

"Like I would skip." Yusuke scoffed.

I just shook my head as I followed my brother's lead. We took off running and then came to a complete stop when Hiei jumped out of a tree and landed in front of us.

"Well, if it isn't our favorite three-eyed demon." I said.

"What's up Hiei? You're not stalking me again, are you?" Yusuke added.

Hiei didn't say a word but handed us a videotape.

"What's that?" Yusuke asked.

"From Koenma." Hiei replied.

Why would Hiei be bringing Yusuke this? Shouldn't it be Botan?

"Koenma? Isn't this Botan's gig?" Yusuke asked as he took the videotape.

"I don't know. I'm following orders." Hiei replied.

"You're following Koenma's orders? Something wrong, Hiei?" Yusuke asked when Hiei didn't respond.

Hiei still didn't respond but took off after a moment.

"Strange guy." Yusuke said.

"Damn it!" Yusuke growled as the school bell rung.

We took off running and made it just in time. I stood by and listened as Yusuke and Kuwabara talked about the tape. Kayko then joined in the conversation and I couldn't help but laugh when she mentioned what Botan said that Yusuke did, which wasn't exactly the truth. We then went to Kuwabara's house and I had to bite my lip to keep from laughing when Yusuke and Botan started arguing over what she told Kayko.

"Can we please just watch the video instead of arguing! You're gonna annoy my sister!" Kuwabara growled.

I hate to agree with him, but they are acting like three-year-olds and I'm really trying to be nice and not hit either of them, but I guess I'll see what happens next.

"Besides, Botan is right. Kayko's not supposed to know, so the truth would only get her in trouble. Maybe you should care more about her safety than worrying about some stupid cover story." Kuwabara said.

"I just loved being tag-teamed. Thanks a lot, sis." Yusuke sighed.

"Sorry bro., you know I love you but I'm trying not to hit the two of you, so can we please watch the tape." I said.

"Oh thank you, Kuwabara. You're very wise!" Botan said.

"What can I say, Botan? You and I seem to be a perfect match in every way." Kuwabara said.

Botan just laughed nervously and I just shook my head.

"Now, one more thing before I press play Urameshi! Whatever kind of mission it is, there's no way I'm getting involved!" Kuwabara said.

"Okay, okay! Just start the tape!" Yusuke said.

Kuwabara started the tape and we listened as Koenma told Yusuke that his mission was a rescue mission, and that the hostage's name was Yukina, and that she's an ice apparition. He also said that the reason the criminals took her is because of the jewels she could create. But the thing that pissed me off the most, was that the only way for Yukina to create the jewels was for her to cry because her tears turn to jewels.

"She's beautiful." I whispered.

I just stood by and listened to the conversations around me and laughed when Shizuru, Kuwabara's sister, offered us snacks and told us about what she saw on the video. Kuwabara finally came back and then we all got on the bus to go save Yukina. As we were on the bus, I felt my chest tighten.

"What the hell?" I whispered to myself as I held my chest.

I don't know what the hell is going on, but I guess I'll figure it out as we go. We finally get to the mountains and I can't wait to beat the hell out of this goon who thinks it's ok to hurt women.

"Wow, now this is a big waste of space." Yusuke said.

"You know, Yusuke. Some people like the wilderness." Botan said.

"Yeah. Old hermits and people who don't know how to talk to girls." Yusuke said.

I went to say something, but Kuwabara started to walk off. We followed after him and I'm still trying to figure out why my chest tightened earlier.

"This place smells like ass." Yusuke complained.

I just rolled my eyes because naturally, my twin complains about everything.

"You know there's no way we're gonna find this house by nightfall." Yusuke started.

"The forest looked a lot smaller on the map." Kuwabara finished.

"Come on boys!" I called back to the two guys trailing behind.

"The other trail goes all the way to the top. I think it's our best bet." Botan added.

"Do we still have to walk?" Yusuke asked.

"Let's go Urameshi! Wait for me Yukina! Your true love is coming!" Kuwabara called before running past us.

"I guess he's done being in love with you, Botan." Yusuke said.

"Darn." Botan said, but we all knew that she was happy about that.

"What are you guys waiting for? We got a girl to rescue!" Kuwabara called out to us.

"Shouldn't we tell him about the rest of the video?" I asked.

"Well, I'd hate to ruin his fun." Yusuke replied.

We all thought back to what Koenma told us about Yukina. He told us that Yukina was Hiei's sister.

"What's wrong, Kuwabara?" Yusuke asked as we caught up to him.

"I'm sensing something really bad." Kuwabara replied.

"The compass is going crazy." Botan added.

"Yeah, well, I think I see him." Yusuke and I said at the same time.

"Hey! How's it goin', neighbor?" Yusuke asked as this man walked up.

"You're on private property, boys and girls. You had better leave." the man replied.

"We can't leave! We just got here!" Kuwabara said.

"Yeah we're lost and the birds ate our breadcrumbs." Yusuke added.

"Pretty please let us stay at your master's house." Botan said.

I just rolled my eyes because I already knew how this was going to turn out.

"I'm afraid I cannot do that." the man said.

"Come on, we know he's got plenty of room." I sighed.

"That's right, those crime lords always have really swank houses." Yusuke added.

I wanted to slap my forehead because Yusuke just blew our cover right then and there.

"Crime lord? You seem to know a lot for being lost. You had your chance." the man said before changing.

"I'll have to make you leave myself. But I'm afraid I'm very clumsy." the man said before the center of his chest opened.

Yusuke lightly moved to place me behind him, even though I can handle myself, but it is a nice gesture. I'll stick closer to Botan to ease my brother's mind.

"Everyone I touch always ends up getting killed. I really don't know why they keep making me the security guard." the demon said.

"You're a demon hired by Tarukane, right?" Kuwabara asked.

"That's very perceptive of you. And I have orders to kill anyone who comes after Yukina." the demon replied.

"Well that girl is a type of demon, right? So doesn't that make you cousins or something?" Yusuke asked.

I looked at him like he was crazy because I'm trying to figure out why the hell he just asked that.

"Your own kind is being tortured so that no-good human you work for can make money. Doesn't that tick you off?" Kuwabara growled.

"Not at all." the demon replied.

"What?" Kuwabara questioned.

Does this fool not realize that there are some demons out there that couldn't care less about there own kind?

"It is said that there are humans who will sell their souls to the devil for power, right? Demons can do it too." the demon replied while laughing.

All of us just looked at the demon pissed off and I knew that the more he talked, the more pissed off we were going to get.

"Don't try acting holy. There isn't one among you whose loyalty couldn't be bought." the demon taunted.

"Oh please." I started.

"You creeps will say anything to make yourself feel better." Yusuke continued.

"You're just trash." Kuwabara finished.

"What did you say?" the demon asked.

"Can't you hear right?" Kuwabara started.

"He must've gotten carried away and sold his ears off, too." Yusuke finished.

"Oh, you will regret this!" the demon growled before attacking.

"You ready?" Kuwabara asked.

"Sure." Yusuke replied.

The boys defeated the demon fairly quickly and I wasn't surprised either.

"And here I was thinking they'd make it easy for us, huh Kuwabara?" Yusuke asked.

"Yeah." Kuwabara replied.
