(4:06pm) 21 minutes later…
Summer Bay – Amanda's House – Living Room
Amanda was sat on the sofa thinking to herself when the doorbell suddenly rang.
Walking over to the door she was surprised to see Dan on the other side of it.
"Just me." Dan tells her "There's no lynch mob."
Laughing, Amanda said: "Come in."
Moving aside, she lets her ex-husband enter the house but does a quick glance around to make sure no one else was stood out there.
"You ok?"
Closing the door, Amanda replies: "Well, apart from feeling like a complete idiot you mean?"
"You don't have to feel like an idiot."
"It was supposed to be a way of bringing people together, to help them cope with what's going on."
"Yeah, I know and look Ricky didn't mean what she said." Dan says to her "Well, not really."
"Nah, it was a stupid thing to suggest anyway." Amanda replies walking towards the kitchen "A cup of tea and some cake really isn't going to help anyone right now. What was I thinking?"
Summer Bay – Amanda's House – Kitchen
Following her into the kitchen, Dan comforts hers by saying: "Look, no one blames you for not wanting to be alone at the moment. It's your child out there too."
"And now I may have lost her. We've only just found each other in the first place Dan. There's still so much we needed to get to know about each other. I'm starting to think maybe it's what I deserve."
"What do you mean?" Dan asked as he was confused.
"Well, I've made some selfish choices Dan. I've done some terrible things in my time and maybe losing Belle is my punishment." Amanda tells him as they sit down at the kitchen table.
Meanwhile…
In the Middle of the Bush
The group were currently making their way through the bush on their search for help.
"Let's take a breather." Colby suddenly says from the front of the group causing everyone to stop and look at him.
Taking the bottle of water out of her bag, Bianca reminds them: "One mouthful each."
"Do you have a plan of where we're headed?" Ryan asks Colby.
"If we continue in this direction it will put us onto the most likely flight path of the search." Colby says as he points in the direction they are heading.
"Yes, but we're heading into dented bushland. Aren't we better off going that way where there are probably more openings?" Ryan informs him as he to points in a different direction "If we want to be spotted from the above…"
"That's a pretty big probably and even if your right, being in an opening isn't going to help us very much if there are no choppers over head is it?"
"Well, neither is walking through such thick scrub that a chopper couldn't even spot us, even if it was on top of us…"
"Alright guys." Rocco immediately said trying to keep the peace.
Continuing what he was saying, Ryan finished: "No look, I'm right. I don't know why we are following this guy like sheep?"
"Because I know what I'm talking about, idiot." Colby quickly says to Ryan "I'm not just talking out of my back side."
"Have we got a problem?" Ryan demands to know not liking how Colby was speaking to him.
"Stop it both of you, this isn't helping." Xavier quickly says trying to defuse the situation.
Pushing up from the rock he had been leaning up against, Colby says: "Have you all had enough of a break?"
Everyone just nods their head except for Ryan but they all knew he wasn't going to respond.
"Well let's push on dead a head." Colby tells them.
Standing up, Belle hands the bottle of water to Bianca, before walking over to Kyle and saying: "Hey, are you ok?"
"Yeah, just sick and tired of all the arguing." Kyle sighs as he slowly stands up.
Belle watches her new boyfriend as he rocks a little bit as he stands up: "Are you sure that's all it is?"
"Yeah why wouldn't it be?"
"Just you don't seem very stable on your feet that's all plus you look a bit pale."
"Honestly Belle I'm fine, let's just keep going." Kyle says before he walks away from her.
"If you say so." Belle quickly says then goes after him.
Watching them all move Xavier says to Ryan: "Come on we've gone this far."
"Keep it together." Bianca tells the pilot as she hands him the bottle of water.
"Yeah I'm trying to, but your friend isn't making it easy." Ryan says before taking a drink then handing the bottle back.
With that they all head off in the direction that Colby had pointed at in hopes that they might either find someone or a chopper spots them before they run out of water and food.
At the same time…
Summer Bay – Yabbie Creek – Northern Districts Hospital – Heath's Room
While Dan was at Amanda's and the missing loved ones were trying to find help, Heath was back at the hospital and was being checked over.
"There are no signs of infection." Sid tells them all as he finishes checking Heath over "And your anti-rejection levels are still good."
"Well that's good." Sally says from where she was stood in the doorway.
"It sure is." Brax agrees with her.
"You were lucky Heath, any longer and it might have been a different story. I know this a difficult time, but I'd hate for you to waste this opportunity of an organ donation."
"I know Sid and thanks." Heath tells the doctor.
"Don't worry Doc, we'll make sure he looks after himself." Brax says to his friend.
"Ok." Sid replies before he goes off to check on another patient.
"I think that's what you'd call a slap on the wrist." Heath jokes once Sid had gone.
Sitting beside the bed, Cassie goes: "Well, can you blame them?"
"Yeah, I wasn't thinking straight."
"Nah, of course you weren't not after everything that happened. The main thing is that you're here though and that you're ok"
"Yeah thanks to you."
"I'm just doing for you what you did for me last week."
Brax looks at Sally as Cassie says that and they both smile at each other.
"I guess that makes us even." Heath laughs.
Laughing, Cassie agrees with him: "Yep."
