The lance continued to do its job well, and Garth penetrated deeper into the mountain. And following in his wake were Olga, Sarah Jane, Lynda, Sam, and Tesla. All were eager to see this through. "I think we're almost the other side!" Garth called back to the others.
"I wonder what we find?" Olga asked.
"Who knows?" Sarah Jane replied. "However, I'm eager to see."
"Me too," Lynda said. "I wonder what secrets this world has?"
"Perhaps many," Olga said. "But I don't care. As long as I have Garth in my life, I am happy." She looked at Sarah Jane and Lynda. "What about you two?"
"Well, I didn't get to travel with the Doctor," Lynda said. "However, this place has sure given me much to thank about."
"Me too," Sarah Jane said and informed Olga about her journal. "There is a story here, and I'm going to get it down."
At that time, the sonic lance gave another blast and, as they all watched, an opening appeared in the wall in front of them. "We're through," Garth said. Very slowly, he walked towards the new opening, with others following behind him.
The group emerged into what appeared to be a vast plain. What appeared to be lakes and forests could be seen in the distance. However, what riveted the group was what was right on front of them. I never expected this, Garth thought to himself.
