Two days later...
Abby and Kane arrive at Arkadia. They were greeted by Octavia and Lincoln. Explaining what's been going on since they been gone.
Octavia went down to prison cell to tell her brother bye.
"O?" He said standing up walking over.
"I'm leaving now, Bel." Octavia said.
"Can you tell Clarke, I'm sorry?" Bellamy asked of his sister.
"You can tell her that in a few weeks when Her, Lexa, and their children come to visit." Octavia said.
"Children? I thought they only had one?" Bellamy becoming confused.
"The child, Lexa been training since he was six in case she falls. She has taken him in as her own. Abby said they're happy. Its the happiest she's ever seen Clarke and also for Lexa too. Her stone-cold face drops with her interaction with them." Octavia said.
"I see." Bellamy said.
"Don't use that information as leverage against her. Let them live in their happiness. She'll do it again to protect her family." Octavia mentioned.
"Again?" Bellamy asked.
"There was an attack in Polis. The flame keeper, who also teaches the children. Who also taught Lexa. He couldn't get Clarke's child, so he went after Lexa's. In the process trying to talk him down. Lexa stood in front of her child and got shot. Abby said that Clarke took care of Lexa getting her blood to stop and all. So you see it's not just about their people they have to worry about. It's their little family. Either one of them would protect one another. I beg you, to let them be. Clarke has already been enough. Let her deserve this peace." Octavia explained looking at her brother.
"I will. I'll apologize to them both when they arrive here." Bellamy said.
"Okay, you two behave when we're gone. Aunt Octavia and Uncle Lincoln will be watching over you. Don't forget about Auntie Indra. They'll be here to protect you both." Clarke said at lunch.
"Why do you have to go again?" Madi asked picking at her food.
"When we get back. All four of us will be visiting Grandma Abby and Kane in Arkadia." Lexa said watching Madi pouting about them leaving again.
"WE'RE GOING TO SEE GRANDMA ABBY! KLARK'S HOME!" Madi shouted with excitement.
"Yes. We have matters to attend with King Roan for we leave for Arkadia." Lexa said.
"Leksa, is it about the assassins that Titus hired?" Aden asked looking over at her.
"It does. Don't worry about it. We'll handle it." Lexa said watching them finish their meal.
"Come, let's go outside and watch them play as children should." Clarke said standing up from her chair and holding her hand out for Lexa.
Lexa takes her hand, seen both Madi and Aden jumping out their seats running towards the door waiting for them. Together they walk out to the field. Madi chasing Aden around. Both Lexa and Clarke sit on the hill watching their children play.
"I love this. Nothing happening. Quiet and peaceful." Clarke said leaning her head on Lexa's shoulder.
"We'll have forever for these moments. More to come." Lexa said wrapping an arm around Clarke holding her hand.
"Always and Forever." Clarke said looking up at her.
"Always and Forever." Lexa replied leaning down to kiss her.
Lincoln is gathering their things together while Octavia makes her rounds saying her goodbyes for now.
"Raven. Did you finish soundproofing Clarke's quarters?" Octavia asked.
"Yes, I did. Why do you ask?" Raven questioned her.
"They'll be here in a few weeks with care packages," Octavia said.
"They'll bring that special someone with them?" Raven asked getting excited.
"Well two special someone's." Octavia said with a smile.
"Okay. Does Abby have their quarters set up?" Raven asked.
"I believe so. She wouldn't separate them from their moth...from Clarke and Lexa." Octavia corrected herself not to give away the surprise.
"What was that? Did I hear you correctly? You were going to say Mother's?" Raven asked eyeing her.
"Sorry, it almost slipped. But you can't tell anyone. Clarke will kill me if you knew before they arrived. I'm already on Lexa's shit list. I don't want to be on Clarke's too." Octavia mentioned.
"Well, I won't say anything then." Raven said giving her friend a hug.
"May we meet again." Octavia said.
Octavia goes to the stable to meet up with Lincoln. They mount up on their horses and head back to Polis.
"Abby said that Clarke and Lexa are going to Azgeda." Octavia mentioned.
"Are we going too or we staying in Polis?" Lincoln asked.
"Were staying to watch Madi and Aden." Octavia said.
"So were babysitters?" Lincoln said.
"Their Clarke's and Lexa's children. They are entrusting us to protect them." Octavia replied.
"How was the talk with your brother?" Lincoln asked.
"It was better. He said he's going to apologize to Lexa and Clarke when they come here. He understands their happiness now." Octavia said happily that her brother is coming around.
"That's good to hear. I'm glad that he's understanding." Lincoln replied.
They continue their travels, they didn't want to stop for camp. It was better for them to keep going.
Clarke and Lexa put the children to bed in their respective rooms. Heading to their chambers hand in hand.
"After Octavia and Lincoln arrive, can we wait another day before we depart to Azgeda." Clarke asked walking into their chambers and get ready for bed.
"I plan on waiting another day. So they could settle in before we leave." Lexa said.
"Let me check your wound before we go to bed." Clarke said motioning her to sit down.
She pulls off the bandages checking how much it has healed. Clarke gets her medkit and pulls the stitches out. Gently rubs the ointment on both sides of her wound.
"Mmmm..." Lexa moaned from the gentle touch.
"Don't get too excited. Not until your one hundred percent better." Clarke said cleaning her hands off and puts her medkit away. She takes her hand pulls her toward the bed on her side.
They curl up under the furs and falls asleep.
