I know I'm gonna get hate and death threats shoved up the ass for this, but I don't hate the new trilogy. But if I were rewriting it, is it any indication that I think it's perfect? Of course not! But what I'm doing here is reintroducing familiar elements but putting new spins on them. So try to keep an open mind here, okay?

28. Ch 25 The New Order Retreats

Meanwhile, a New Order shuttle lands in the hangar of another star destroyer and an escape pod crashes in the same hangar. Out of the shuttle step Kylo, his warriors, General Hux, and Admiral Pryde, and out the escape pod steps Phasma. A black BB unit is waiting for them. It displays a hologram of another officer and Kylo turns his attention to it.

"Captain. Give the order to retreat. The battle is lost." "Are you sure sir? Last I checked retreat was only-" Kylo chokes the hologram with the force. "The order! Give it!"

Grand Admiral Ackbar watches from his command bridge as the New Order fleet retreats into hyperspace. Everyone cheers! Meanwhile, Poe Dameron is in the cockpit of his X-wing. "We did it general! The New Order's on the run!" Meanwhile, Leia is still in Holdo's office. "Great work, all of you! There are some things I need to handle first."
