Lincoln is deeply in love with Paige. He calls her "J", which means "Jammer". Ever since he snuck in a letter in her backpack, he hopes one day that she could reciprocate his admiration for her. He thankfully has the opportunity to interact with her outside of class, usually in Gus' Games and Grub. But they only exchange friendly gestures and greetings. However, Lincoln hopes to deepen their friendship and actually get to know each other. For that, the 11-year-old decides to write another love letter and perform a grand courtship gesture to her. Here is how his letter goes:

Dear friend,

I took a while to admit my feelings

It made me slip from banana peelings

But I cannot help but fall deep for you

Since you made things bright from skies that are blue

You are awesome as a cheerful playmate

You are cheerful as an active teammate

You are active like a clever checkmate

You are clever like a faithful first mate

I wish to share how my heart grows fonder

To see your sparkling eyes and hair blonder

Hope to see you tomorrow on the field

Where the kids watch the school footballers wield

I will be waiting with my head held high

My hands with flowers, with tears on my eye

Whatever may happen to us these times

This is for you, friend, these beautiful rhymes

Yours truly,

Loyal Dancer

"Good composition, Lincoln," Clyde praises him after his best friend waxes poetic on him. "I am sure Paige will appreciate it."

"Thanks Clyde!" Lincoln appreciates him. "Glad I had help from Lucy. I knew this is the right time that I should confess my feelings to her. You guys know the drill, right?"

"We are always here for you, buddy." Even if he is that faithful to his friend, Clyde raises a slight concern, "Though I am nervous at how Paige will react on this. We don't want to freak her out or anything."

"That's why I write it on the poem. That no matter what happens tomorrow, we both would still be close friends. Doesn't sound bad, right?"

Clyde earnestly replies, "Well time will well. All I can say is good luck!" He taps his best friend on the shoulder.

Right after the day's class, Lincoln quickly slips the letter to Paige's supposed locker. He could only hope that she reads it at home.

The next day, Lincoln is waiting on the school field after school during the breaktime of the school's football team. He is dressed up in his light blue suit, orange necktie and dark brown shoes. His white hair is combed evenly. As indicated on his poem to Paige, he has a bouquet of flowers on his hand.

Lincoln has Clyde, Stella, Rusty, Liam and Zack ready on their positions for the big surprise. Clyde is hiding under the bleachers. Stella is overseeing the operations from the broadcast station. Rusty and Liam are positioned in the dugout. And Zack is standing on the sides.

Lincoln radios Stella, "Lincoln to Stella, any sign of her?"

"Negative, Lincoln," she replies to him.

"Gosh, maybe I have mislead her? Or I should have told her to come sooner?"

Hearing him nervously stutter, Clyde contacts him assuredly, "Lincoln, this is your chance to show your feelings to her. You have to own it. You can beat your nerves. You can do this!"

Lincoln easily accepts Clyde's encouraging words. "You're right, Clyde. This is my moment."

Suddenly, Stella alerts them, "Guys, she's arriving! Places everyone!"

"Remember guys, the cue is 'I loh…'"

At her signal, Lincoln fixes himself and readies for her arrival. He spots her from a far glance, much to his delight. He can spot her feet walking towards him. His nerves get him excited. But, to his surprise, Lincoln Loud instead sees a different girl approaching him.

"Girl Jordan?!"

"LINCOLN?! You're the one who wrote that letter in my locker?"

Lincoln, dry on his throat, stammers and blushes in embarrassment, "I…I…I…"

Girl Jordan repeats, "Are you 'Loyal Dancer'?"

He only stammers, "I lo…lo…lo…"

His friends misinterprets this as Lincoln's signal to go forth for their operation. Cue confetti and streamers in the air. The marching band then emerges from the bleachers and proceeds to the field. The trumpets sound. And the drums beat loud.

Sooner, a choir walks to the bleachers from both sides, chanting, "Love! Love! Love!"

"What's going on here?" Girl Jordan asks, bewildered by the flash mob-like atmosphere.

"This is not my own doing. Swear!" Lincoln nervously assures her.

Love! Love! Love!

"But are you the one who gave me that letter?" Girl Jordan asks once more.

"It was not what you think. There must be a mistake," Lincoln falters.

Love! Love! Love!

Afterwards, Clyde emerges from the top of the bleachers in a sharp-dressed suit, shades and a microphone and sings along.

There's nothing you can do that can't be done

Nothing you can sing that can't be sung

Nothing you can say but you can learn how to play the game

It's easy

"Why is Clyde in a suit? And why is he part of the choir?" Girl Jordan asks.

"Ohh uhmmmm…didn't you know? He's already in the choir. He loves it," Lincoln gives that excuse as he sweats profusely.

Nothing you can make that can't be made

No one you can save that can't be saved

Nothing you can do but you can learn how to be you in time

It's easy

Clyde leaps to the ground in style and, as part of the stunt, takes Lincoln's wrist to go closer to his new love.

All you need is love!

However, he realizes that Girl Jordan is the girl they are performing for, instead of Paige. But he keeps up with the performance awkwardly. So, he takes her wrist and places her hand over Lincoln's. Girl Jordan blushes heavily.

All you need is love!

The song goes on with the band blocking themselves to form a heart-shaped formation. The rest of the crew build up the romantic atmosphere for the two lovebirds.

But as for them, their faces redden heavily.

All you need is love, love!

Love is all you need

Love is all you need

Love is all you need

The flash mob ends spectacularly, with a big blowout and cheers from all the students and football players involved. All, except Clyde, Stella, Rusty, Liam, Zack, Lincoln and Girl Jordan. For the latter two, they remain speechless as the performance ends.

With the crowd expecting a gesture toward each other, Lincoln and Girl Jordan remain silent.

Overall, the flash mob was a success, performance-wise and viral marketing-wise. The personal side is a different story.

Girl Jordan arrives home with a baggage of awkwardness after witnessing a romantic gesture being presented to her. She rocks herself on the recliner with her young heart pounding low, contemplating how to deal with her feelings. She is aware of how romance or love works, or at least according to her young mind. But she does not how to make of it, once she feels it firsthand. So, call it a night of confusion for the popular party girl, Girl Jordan.

Unexpectedly, she hears knocks on the front door. With her family still on the dinner table, Girl Jordan walks to answer it. Once she opens it, she sees Lincoln.

Immediately, Girl Jordan slams the door.

But Lincoln blocks it with his feet. He then shows her a placard that reads: "Give me a chance to explain, please?"

"Jordan, who is it?" one of her folks ask her from the dinner table.

Lincoln lifts another placard that says: "Tell them they're carolers."

"They're carolers. Carolers in spring for some reason," Girl Jordan shouts to the hall. She returns to Lincoln with irritation on her face. "What is it?"

He then keeps replying through cards. "What happened at the field was not meant for you."

Girl Jordan rolls her eyes looking at it.

"Sorry for the confusion. The band kept on."

"Never knew it would be viral."

She then angrily responds to him, "Lincoln, you didn't see this through, did you? How would you mistake my locker for Paige's?!"

"BIG MISTAKE. That's on me. Hundred million apologies."

"I don't know how you can repay. I don't know how to feel about this. I am just too embarrassed to walk around school, now with this attached to me!"

"Your move. Your conditions."

"Anything we can do to let bygones be bygones. I don't want this to be super personal."

With a sigh, Girl Jordan replies to him, "Well, whether we like it or not, this looks very personal. I just don't how to face you like a normally do because…because…"

Lincoln reaches out to her by writing on the card at that moment: "Because?"

Girl Jordan tries to find her words. But she only ends up twirling her braided ponytail and twiddling her fingers. "Just never mind about it. It's my own thing."

Lincoln raises again the placard with the label: "Your move. Your conditions." But after that, he shows the card: "Before that, I wanna say…you look pretty."

Girl Jordan looks at it and blushes heavily, realizing that Lincoln became one of the boys who admire her.

Suddenly, she overhears her family exiting the dining room. So, she hurriedly pushes Lincoln out of their sight. "We'll talk tomorrow."

Awkwardly, Lincoln walks out of her compound, unsure of how to react to his visit.

But surprisingly, Girl Jordan shouts to him, "Lincoln, tomorrow! On the field! After school!"

Lincoln simply nods his head.
