Going back a week, in Konoha everyone was in a festive mood as the summer season had rolled in and festivals were about to spring up.
Even the mighty Hyuga clan was getting ready for the events and to host open house banquets for important people.
The Hyuga compound that always looked clean and tidy without any color was decorated and seemed to show some excitement.
Even then it showed its dignity and elegance, showing how much of pompous the clan was in showing their pride and royalty.
Inside the compound, Hinata's place was on the right side where she stayed in a large traditional house with a small garden and pond.
It was a place of beauty and tranquility devoid of any noise pollution.
Inside the house, near the garden Hinata and her close confidants were playing music as it was her instrumental practice time.
Unlike other girls, Hinata dedicated time for many things every day to become the perfect noble lady and the perfect lord.
She practiced singing, embroidery, music, ninja practice, martial arts, archery, politics, policy making, biology and mental games.
Her whole day was filled up with many things but she always made time to play with her sister and Naruto.
Being noble was a norm for the Hyuga clan as they were a clan filled with pride. They were different from other clans from the beginning since the Hyuga were well known as teachers, royal guards, royal advisors, doctors, martial arts masters, musicians and archers.
They were not assassins from the beginning and were steeped into royalty. It showed in their mannerisms and pose.
They were known as the best martial artist as the Gentle fist was unbeatable and only through stat advantage someone could beat a Hyuga in close combat. It was a rare case that someone beat them while being on the same rank but that required a lot of experience since one touch and you lose.
But close combat wasn't the only thing they were known for as the Hyuga were the best healers in the world because of their Byakugan and high chakra control.
They could accurately destroy any foreign viruses and see deep down into your body to find the cause and heal it properly with expert control.
They were also known as one of the best teachers in the world for arts of all kinds and general knowledge. Nara clan was also known for this field but most preferred the Hyuga since the Nara clan had this weakness of being very lethargic. It was side affect of their mind being so powerful.
The Nara clan members were the smartest people in the world and were part of all kinds of research. They were the undisputed best strategist and some members worked in the royal palace.
Finally the Hyuga were known for their archery, they were the undisputed number one. No one could beat them at this art and it was part of their arsenal.
The Hyuga used gentle fist and archery along with some of the ninja arts but these were their primary elements.
Hiashi and Hizashi were known as the Celestial archers, well known for shooting down thousands of enemies from 100 km away.
This was possible because of the evolution of the ninja arts focused around the Byakugan. Just like all clans they focused on their own thing.
Normally Byakugan awakens at the age of five with a minimum range of 100 meters around the user and special case of 1 km around the user.
This is only an initial point and the user can train it to become better. Hyuga clan trains, uses potions, specialized diet and seals to improve this power.
They also have specialized jutsu for the byakugan that allow them better focus. One such is the sniper view that allows them to zoom in and extend their eyes further than normally possibly for the cost of losing the 360 view.
This was Hiashi whose limit was 20 km with full focus was able to see 100 km but it was just a tunnel vision leaving him open to other sides since he won't be able see them.
The other one was auto locking, the eyes locked onto the targets within range so the user wouldn't get distracted and allowed for feats not normally possible.
Getting back to our heroine, Hinata was enjoying playing music of the song called Blue Bird that Naruto enjoyed very much. It was also one of her favorite songs.
Even though she knew Naruto's favorites were the vulgar kind, Hinata didn't learn those songs as she didn't like such songs. She loved Naruto but it didn't mean she worshipped him and followed his tastes like a fanatic.
Her love was eternal and she had vowed to make it reality once she met him again. Even before meeting him, she had known about him since she had people watching him.
She had proper profile of everyone to help her make decisions. Everyone in the clan was on her list and many other people outside the clan as well.
She had recorded everything useful about them from their personality to their likes and dislikes along with the combat prowess.
Everything for the goal, she left no stone unturned.
As she finished and stopped to think about the situation, she felt happy that Naruto was finally somewhat free from his cage but the cage was still there. It had just become bigger and clearer.
All of them knew what being a Jinchuuriki meant and it was not sunshine and rainbows.
With power came discrimination and fear. Jinchuuriki could never roam freely unless they wanted to get targeted or cause international and domestic problems since many cities banned them.
The problem had become so much worse especially since it was about the Kyuubi. If the people of Konoha feared and hated him then you can multiply that by a ten because the outside world hated him even more.
On that night, the people had feared the end of the world. It is no joke, how much of a monster the Kyuubi is.
He is the very nightmare that keeps everyone on their feet and none could match it in that department. So many pointless deaths had taken place that day.
Millions just vanished one night and the people had cried out for the destruction of the Kyuubi. Everyone knew that the Tailed beast couldn't be killed so they wanted it gone in any way possible. Just get it out of this world somehow.
People had started research into this topic seriously from that night and the relationship between the Hokage and the FireLord had become strained on that night.
The FireLord demanded the death of the culprit but the Hokage could never give up Naruto nor could he give up the Kyuubi.
They only managed to fix up the relationship after five years when the tragedy of the children took place where Konoha helped in the destruction of the army base.
Hiruzen promised to help in the destruction of the tailed beast and was part of the research society created around this topic.
Looking at the situation, Hinata saw more than Naruto could since he was not knowledgeable about the politics since it wasn't a topic taught at the Academy.
She could see that he hadn't seen the problem because he wasn't aware of the full picture. This was where she came in.
The Hyuga clan was a noble clan with a great network and she planned to help him, make his level of freedom increase or he would be stuck with only few locations and would be swarmed by hunters if he tried forcing things.
There was no such thing as invincible in this world and not even Hashirama or Madara were considered invincible in their time.
They were strong but with proper resources the ninja of that time could have taken them down if forced to work together.
Even now Killer Bee was known as the strongest being to ever exist in the recorded history didn't act like a hot shot that could roll through everything because bijuu hunter squad was a real thing.
Every village had specialized squad and strategies to take down the vessels, there will be huge loses but if they were forced to act then it was to be.
But before she could act on that plan she needed to get more control of the clan. Her father had been a disappointment since the death of their mother. It felt like she had lost both parents that day.
She didn't blame her father much because he taught her one of the consequences of love. He was one of the rare kinds inside the Hyuga clan.
Someone that loved with such dedication when normally Hyuga were usually very cold, they were one of the worst lovers to normal people and they wouldn't ever show grief at the death of a loved one or let it affect them.
The Hyuga clan didn't let emotions lead them in anything and none ever got them to act emotionally except for rare cases.
It was just engrained in them from the beginning as they lived in this beautiful but devoid emotion background.
Taught to always live with pride and dignity, live like a noble with proper etiquette.
Even though they had the slavery seal on the majority of the clan, leaving only some percentage as the rulers, none could complain that they were actually living in hell since the Hyuga's like to live like nobles and even their slave halves were living in luxury.
The slave seal was a safety feature that Hinata found was supposed to be for everyone without the control feature.
It wasn't called the caged bird seal but the Safe switch so that Byakugan won't get stolen. The main branch members obviously had the original seal on their body while the others were caged birds.
Not everyone was an asshole and disgusting but humanity has a history of producing filth so there were corrupted members as elders and such.
This tradition had been corrupted five hundred years ago when the brother of the clan head decided to fight for the clan head position and members supported him, causing the clan head to kill his brother and brand the supporters with the cursed seal.
It wasn't supposed to continue after things had become normal but the clan head got killed in the conflict between clans, leading to the current situation.
It was too ingrained into them that it was impossible to cutout since the elders didn't want to give up the privilege of having total control over the other members.
Look at the situation as they could even command Hizashi Hyuga and it gave them a power trip making such a powerful man their bitch.
Hinata wanted to fix this problem and lead the clan to a new frontier where they could shine brighter than ever. It wasn't just freedom but a new height of power.
She wasn't just dreaming something small anymore and both her goals had mixed together to form into one overreaching destination.
"Mistress"
Hinata turned her head to look at a young woman from the branch side sitting outside with her head bowed.
This was something that she didn't like at all. They could bow but why did they have to show such submissiveness to even go to their knees and with their heads on the ground.
The Elders were really sick in the head when they made this part of proper etiquette. It was so much worse since even in front of the FireLord nobody did this unless they were sinners begging for mercy.
"Stand, do you have anything for me Haruhi?" Hinata asked as she got up and her close family members also got up
These were the ones that she trued the most.
There was Neji and Hanabi then there was a woman named Luong that was very much the opposite kind of Hyuga as she was the seductive type with long black hair and a beautiful form that was the norm of the Hyuga clan as they were considered one of the most beautiful clan to ever live, male and female.
The other one was a young man named Shun with light blue hair that aloof like the rest of the clan but was very caring inside.
These two were Hinata's biggest helpers beside Neji as they were older and more experienced.
Their eyes landed on the woman named Haruhi as she stood up and looked at them from the corner of her eyes.
"Mistress, it's something private."
"Come inside" Hinata muttered and Luong walked forward closing the sliding door, activating the seals
This place was already sealed off from the outside and no one would know what was happening unless a fight took place or an intruder entered to send alarms around the whole compound.
"You can speak safely now, we are all friends here." Hinata spoke in a gentle tone as she walked forward and took Haruhi's hands in her own
Haruhi nodded and whispered, "Mistress, you need to be really careful. I saw you with the boy in a not a respectable position. It could cause problems so please be careful."
'How did I not notice this?'
"Thank you so much for informing me, Haruhi. You will be rewarded greatly for this service." Hinata smiled as she hugged Haruhi before the woman went limp and fell to the floor
"Mistress, you didn't have to dirty your hands. We are here for that purpose." Neji muttered as he looked at Hinata
To him Hinata signified the rise of the Hyuga clan from the swamp into the light, she shouldn't bother was such low lives and dirty her hands.
He didn't even doubt Hinata because they had been together for five years now to know to trust her with utmost loyalty.
"Heh, what a thing to say. In this world we can never distance ourselves from such a thing and my path is filled with blood. I won't just dirty my hands as I will bathe in the blood of the enemies. It is the path we walk so don't try to put me on a pedestal, Neji." Hinata muttered as she extended her hand and chakra wires lashed out cutting the body to pieces while being held by Shun who used his water control so that the blood won't fall anywhere and the pieces stayed in place
It wasn't the first time Hinata had killed one of the clan members.
The pieces were then deposited in the under the garden where Hinata placed new seeds to feed on the premium fertilizer.
It was one corner of the garden where she had 20 trees now, reminding her of the filth inside the clan.
Haruhi was trying to trick her, blackmail her with the knowledge of the meeting with Naruto not knowing that Hinata watched every damn member inside the clan with hawk eyes.
She had knowledge on all their personalities and Haruhi was one of the filthy ones that dishonored this beautiful clan.
"Come one Hanabi, what is bothering you? You know you can ask me anything." Hinata muttered as she finished up with the planting with the help of Shun
Hanabi was her younger sister with a difference of three years with long black hair like their father unlike Hinata's dark blue hair.
She was a cute child that loved her sister very much because had been there for her all along. She was the shield that blocked everything and protected her from harm while her father acted like the rest of the Main branch broken from the death of his wife.
Hiashi was just a shell of his previous self, not being able to move on from the death and focus on what he still had.
The cause for the tragedy was an attack on the couple when they were travelling and their mother was hurt badly during the attack.
Fearing that the child might die, she had given birth prematurely and destroyed any chance of survival as the chakra system becomes unstable at the time of birth.
She chose to give birth to Hanabi instead of a chance at living. Hinata saw the death of her mother and the rage and broken figure of her father at a young age.
She knew best how cruel the world could be, how dangerous it was out there even when you are so powerful.
The hatred between the Kumo and Konoha could never be fixed as Kumo never gave up on its disgusting ideals and acts.
Hinata didn't blame them at that time as she could only focus on the little child but after Naruto woke her up and changed her, she put Kumo on the black list.
They were going to die for killing her mother and now the goal matched with Naruto as he wished to murder the Raikage for targeting him.
"Big sis, what would have done if she was innocent?"
"Haha, is that it? You scared your big sis, Hanabi." Hinata laughed as she hugged Hanabi and rubbed her cheeks
"I would have given her a position among us or had her memory erased. Always remember that the Hyuga represent purity and order, we are the force of good in this messed up world. We are not the other clans that took part in disgusting acts. The Hyuga clan always stands proud as one of the champions of justice.
Don't look at these scum, they are not part of us and won't stay long in this world. We are working for that goal, to bring us back to our original point that had been lost for in the last decade." Hinata explained gently
Hanabi listened to her words and nodded, "I believe you big sis but what can I do?"
"You can grow up strong for big sis and cheer me up with your cute voice." Hinata bit Hanabi's cheek playfully
"Big sis!"
"Haha"
"Hinata, what are you going to do about it?" Shun asked as he was still focused on the topic at hand
"Are you going to risk this mission for some love making?" Luong muttered with a suggestive tone causing Neji to glare at the older woman
"I think I have done enough for now and I can still meet him through the puppets. It can be a fun experience." Hinata replied as she looked at them with a smile
Luong grinned at her answer, "This is why I like you so much. You are one greedy bitch."
"Language" Neji said with a glare
"Sorry I am an uneducated swine so you would have to forgive my language."
"Luong, don't play with Neji. He might take it on you once he grows up." Shun warned playfully, they were all close friends here even if they had their differences
"I look forward to that day, maybe then he could force me to use my other arm."
Hinata walked back inside with Hanabi holding her hand and sat down. One of the elders was leaving for the Summer Festival with his family to represent the Hyuga clan since the Fire Lord's heir was also present.
