Chapter 25th

Agent McGee didn't like the idea of watching his boss move in along into the next compartment of the first train. Gibbs had his sig in his hand being careful with his steps moving into the next compartment. He looked around though there were two above sections that anyone can hide.

He checked them the best he could. Even though Hernandez who was hiding deep inside. He had come after telling his associates that he wasn't coming realizing that there might be a snitch among his associates.

Gibbs continued on with the search hearing every little noise with his hearing. Even though his eyesight wasn't up to par with needing to wear glasses at times over the years.

Meanwhile Torres was leaving with one of the agents to drive him to the emergency room. While McGee wasn't going to pay attention with Gibbs hunch that Hernandez might be here after all Even though Leon didn't really wanted to believe him. However he told McGee to head inside stalking...

When Gibbs was beginning to move to another compartment. He heard a noise turning to see someone coming after him.

However Hernandez had another man with him much smaller in statue to fit up in the compartment. This man hit Gibbs over the head to have him fall to the floor semi conscience with his eyesight blurring.

"Now this is a sight for sore eyes. Leroy Jethro Gibbs again at my mercy." Hernandez will say to his prey...While he spoke in Spanish to his friend to have Gibbs hands tied with moving him off the floor so that he can face him.

Hector was able to get him up even though Hernandez had a gun into his face on whether he was going to move quick. "You know you're not going to get away with taking me hostage. Director Vance has all of the NCIS agents and F.B.I. surrounding this entire area." Gibbs said with trying to catch his breath and with blood seeping from his head wound.

"How well I know Gibbs. However you're not going to be alive when I leave in a moment. You're going to die in misery." He fired his weapon into Gibbs stomach to have him dropped to the train's floor. In Spanish again. "Let's move now!" He said before his man was shot in the head by McGee however Hernandez had his escape route planned with a trap door below in order for him to jump down onto the track and look for any of the agents.

Meanwhile Gibbs needed help badly with McGee helping to untied his hands behind his back. It was obvious he had a head injury and being shot in the stomach. When Leon and the others heard the shot. They ran quickly to see Gibbs. "He's been shot in the stomach by Hernandez. I was able to take out the other man into the head. However Hernandez had gotten away somehow. I have called for 911 and a ambulance to come to this section." McGee had placed pressure onto his stomach as the blood was seeping through his fingers.

"I told him this was a risky operation and with Gibbs taking the chance of going inside again only to be ambushed by Hernandez. I will give the order for everyone to search and put out a Bolo for Hernandez having escaped." Leon responded with a great deal of anger.

"OMG! What about Loreile ? Someone will have to tell her and will no doubt cause a problem with the stress and the unborn child?" Tim will say with the ramifications of Loreile finding out that her husband has been injured again.

But in the meantime they were hearing sirens in the background. It was an ambulance arriving with driving down between the tracks and the metro police needing to have explanation as to what is going on...

McGee was relieved by the medical technician come on board with his portable radio and medical bag with his partner helping. "He was shot into the stomach point blank range and he was hit over the head by the butt of a small handgun."

The older technician started to check his vitals while the other placed on a pressure pack to hold back the blood. Gibbs was moaning loud having to be in a great deal of pain both with his head and stomach.

"B.P. is 90 over 50 and dropping. His heart rate is rising. I will contact Bethesda hospital to see if I can talk with the primary care physician working the station." He will reply with the information.

Leon will say to them that Gibbs primary care physician at the hospital is Doctor Cyril Taft. I have his main number and I will call him."

The technician was able to start up a saline solution and blood plasma to hold him until they get him to the hospital and in the meantime the others around were able to help with the stretcher and carefully placing Gibbs on it.

He was able to hear the doctor talk over the radio giving additional instructions. Meanwhile Gibbs face was ashen at best with the lost of blood. The emergency doctor had mention that Doctor Cyril Taft was in the hospital has been placed on alert in regard to his patient.

It didn't take long for the ambulance to arrive with very little traffic on the road with being late as it was. Doctor Cyril Taft and his assistant will be waiting in the operating room getting the team together. While the trauma doctor in Emergency room will take a quick look at his condition before taking him up.

Senior Field agent Timothy McGee was told to head upstairs to the sixth floor waiting room. Meanwhile as for Loreile, she had asked Phineas Uncle George to drive her to the hospital. She once again was a complete mess and she didn't know what to do this time...

George taking his time with his driving didn't want to take a chance with getting a traffic ticket. However they were able to make it to the hospital and the entrance of the emergency entrance asking on whether their was any news on Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs. She and George had stopped at the main desk to find out where he was taken.

"Ma'am he's been taken to the operating room on the sixth floor with Doctor Cyril Taft his primary care physician to be operating on him. The waiting room is on the sixth floor along with other NCIS agents."

"Thanks." George will have said with helping Loreile to search for the elevator.
