"This is what we have all been waiting for folks! Today will be the day one of these lovely guilds will take the number one spot in Fiore!"
"Now let's get things started and bring out all the competitors!"
Each guild came out through the tunnels starting with the one currently in last place.
Quatro Cerberus.
Next was Blue Pegasus. With Fairy Tail Team B and Raven Tail out, there were now only six teams remaining.
"For our Third place team! Lamia Scale! Can Lyon Vastia, the ice wizard that rivals Gray Fullbuster bring the heat in today's battle or will he just get frozen in his tracks?"
"Now Lamia Scale isn't the only team in third place, they share the spot with MERMAID HEEL!" Chapati shouted as the girls walked out
"Beautiful ladies, but don't be fooled by their sweetness-"
"Let's hear it for our second place team!" Chapati screamed as the crowd cheered
"It's a shock to see them in this spot- is this an end to an era? Sabertooth's Sting and Rogue walk out confidently after that crushing defeat by Fairy Tail's Natsu and Gajeel a few days before!"
"Now let's give it up for our returning Grand Magic Games Champions! Sabertooth!"
Minerva led the pack as they followed her in pursuit.
They didn't look too happy...
"AND NOW FOR FIRST PLACE!"
"The guild that is making their amazing comeback after falling off the map seven years ago! Let's give it up for FAIRY TAIL!" Chapati screamed as the crowd roared
"Okay... this is it, you ready?" Rogue turned to face the blonde
"Yeah..."
"They're definitely getting a different welcome from all that booing in the beginning of the games huh?" Lyon teased talking to Sheila and Jura before his eyes widened in surprise.
The smoke cleared revealing the team, missing a very specific fire dragon slayer.
"Wait a minute!"
"Strange..."
"Uhhh-"
Gray stood in the middle, his hand interlocked with Vyra on his right side. Laxus stood behind the bluenette as Erza and Gajeel were on the other side.
Each Fairy Tail member had an outfit change. Vyra wore a black high waisted skirt with a fitted purple crop top. A thigh wrap on her right leg paired with other accessories such as a yellow head band that pushed her long light blue hair back. (Matching Gajeel's). She also wore knee high boots with thigh high socks.
"Fairy Tail is keeping us on our toes with this very unbelievable roster change!"
Rogue blushed as he looked over to the Fairy Tail team.
"She smells different..." He whispered eyes locking on the moonlight mage slowly catching Sting attention
That aroma... it made the twin dragon slayers have goosebumps go down their legs.
"Natsu's out of the competition?" Rogue questioned trying to snap up of his senses
"That's fine by me, it's actually the best news I had all day-" Sting smirked as he looked back over to the moonlight mage. His eyes glanced down to her and Gray's interlocked hands and back up to her cerulean eyes, but what the dragon slayer didn't expect to see her intensely eyeing him.
His eyes widened slightly in astonishment, but tried to play it off coy.
"After such a strong showing in the last round, this decision is a real head scratcher... What could be the reason?!" Chapati questioned
Yesterday Evening
"What the hell?"
"Lucy's been taken into custody?"
"They think she would be in some top secret plot... It's completely ridiculous-" Master crossed his arms
"Let me get this straight-" Laxus walked over
"If we take the top spot we can ask for her back only if his 'highness' allows it?"
"Personally, I'm having a hard time believing anything the higher ups tell us..." Gray spoke as Vyra stood next to him in worry
The one relaxing day Vyra and Gray had to themselves... who would've known what happened in those 24 hours. The duo felt incredibly guilty that they weren't there to help.
"If they were... would Lucy be with them right now?
"ARE WE JUST SUPPOSED TO PUT UP WITH THAT CRAP FROM THOSE JERKS?! UNTIE MEE!" Natsu spazzed
"AND I'LL GO UP THERE AND GET HER RIGHT NOW!"
"J-Just calm down a-and do what master t-tells us-" Wendy pleaded
"Master-" Erza turned to the elder man sitting on the bar
"We can't afford to take reckless action against the kingdom... and i'm sure they wouldn't want word to spread that they captured innocent civilians, but I suppose we should consider her a hostage until the eclipse project of there's is called off"
"Man-"
"They got us by the you know what don't they?"
"She's a hostage..."
Present
"Awe man, I wanted to see him fight again-"
"That sucks-"
"Weird..."
"See Gray?" Vyra turned
"I told you you'd be able to fight~" She smiled
"Yeah..." He sighed putting a hand on his hip
"Let's just hope that knucklehead can get Lucy back in time"
"Mira and Wendy is with him, I'm sure they can do it-"
"We'll have to put our faith in them... and them in us" Erza began
"We have to win this." She proclaimed
"This is it, the last round of the Grand Magic Games will feature... an all team survival game!" Chapati shouted
He went on to explain the rules as the team's listened, staying put to where they were located.
"Listen, we have to win this just in case the rescue team fails. Lucy is counting on all of us-" Erza proclaimed
"Hopefully Mira and the others can get Lucy out of there-" She continued
"She's not the only reason we're fighting though..." Vyra whispered
"Vy's right, we're winning this for all of our friends in Fairy Tail" Gray nodded
"It's the very least we can do to thank them. They suffered through seven years of heartache, we can do it. " Laxus smirked
"Who will gloriously stand at the pineal of the magic world?! We're about to find out- LET'S RUMBLE!"
"Ready?"
"YEAHHH!"

"They're not moving!"
The Fairy Tail guild members stared down to watch the Fairy Tail team not moving an inch. They had their eyes closed as if they were doing some sort of meditation.
"Now's not the time to be sleeping you guys get up!" Cana spazzed as the other teams quickly gained points chasing the score board
"Sabertooth has now taken the lead!"
"AHHHH! WHAT ARE THEY DOING?!"
...
"Operation Fairy Stars: Begin!" Mavis stood up as team Fairy Tail began to sprint
"Finally! The team from Fairy Tail has sprung into action!" Chapati shouted
Each one of the member's went to a specific location Master Mavis told them about and knocked out as many competitors as they could.
Erza ran into Jenny and Gajeel and Gray took on the Blue Pegasus trio.
"Jura and Lyon are making this a breeze for us, they should just give us the win at this rate-"
"WOOOOFFFF SHEILA'S STRONG TOO!"
"yyoousureeeee soounnddd fulll of yourselvesssss-" Bacchus slurred as he halted the running Toby and Yuko of Lamia Scale
"Uh oh! Toby and Yuko ran into a walk of some drunken furry!" Chapati spoke
"We can beat him!" Toby jumped
"Two on one huh? It's time for you to go beddy bye!" Bacchus teased preparing to attack before he looked up to the glint in the sky that punched him right in the spinal column.
On the ground, Yuko and Toby got knocked out from beams of light hitting them both square in the jaw flying into opposite sides of the buildings.
"IT'S STING! Sabertooth's Sting appears out of the blue and single handedly takes out Quatro Cerberus' Bacchus with overwhelming force!"
"Wait but that's not all!" Chapati's eyes widened
"IT'S FAIRY TAIL'S VYRA FERNANDES!" The screen revealed Vyra as the crowd began to roar
"They have similar light magic, don't you agree Mr. Yajima?" Chapati questioned as Yajima nodded
"Yes, Sting is the dragon slayer of white heavenly light and Vyra is the goddess of the sun and moon. Although her sunlight energy is more similar to his unlike her moonlight form..."
"Let me tell you, If those two ever decided to team up one day they'd be really difficult to beat..."
"You think so?!" Chapati jumped as Vyra and Sting locked eyes
Both their eyes narrowed exchanging a longing glance before a heap of wind blew through the make believe city.
"And the lovely Kagura crashes the party!"
"Could this be a three way fight between Fairy Tail, Mermaid Heel and Sabertooth?" Chapati spazzed watching as Sting and Vyra who stood in front of the raven haired girl looking back at her aloofly
Kagura grimanced, scowling once she saw the blunette's face. Her arms trembled as she grabbed the top of her sword pushing it open with her thumb.
Within the matter of seconds, Vyra and Sting were out of sight.
"THEY LEFT?!"
"A wise choice... facing that girl would be pointless- it would only waste their magic power..." Minerva slyly smiled
Vyra didn't want to take her chances messing with Kagura after what Erza told her last night. To be safe for herself and Jellal, she decided to keep her distance and listened to the red heads' wishes.
Yesterday
It was currently 11 pm and the Fairy Tail bunch we're getting ready for bed. Tomorrow was the last day of the games so they had to get a good night's rest. Vyra stood on the balcony taking in some moonlight as the door behind her slid open.
"Oh, hey Erza-"
"Vyra... can you take my word on something?" Erza stood next to her wearing her matching purple pajamas set
"Hm?"
"Kagura Mikazuchi... the swords women on Mermaid Heel, if you come in contact with her tomorrow I want you to flee-" She said sternly
"You want me to run away?" The bluenette lifted her arms up from the balcony in slight rage
"From a fight? Me run? No way Erza-" She snapped as the red head narrowed her eyes
"Just listen to me Vyra-" she sighed
"Kagura... that sword she holds, she'll only draw it out to kill... one person in specific-"
"To kill someone?" The girl repeated
"That person is Jellal..."
Her eyes widened when she heard the name of her elder brother.
'Kagura wants to kill Jellal?'
She stood in shock. I mean everyone wanted to capture and kill Jellal, but Kagura? This just added another anxiety to deal with on her long list of problems.
"W-Why?"
"She was at the tower too..."
"S-She was?" The bluenette stuttered in disbelief
"And resents Jellal for everything-"
"..."
Vyra stood silent. So in a way, Kagura was just like her… a long time ago.
"I saw the look in her eyes when she saw your mark, please..." Erza grabbed the girl by the hand which surprised the bluenette
Vyra and Erza we're like Natsu and Gray in a sense. Fire and ice or oil and water, they didn't mix very well.
Seeing Erza so soft and showing compassion towards her, left the moonlight mage in astonishment.
...
"Okay...fine..."
"Sabertooth's Sting Eucliffe and Fairy Tail's Vyra Fernandes up right vanished out of sight upon seeing the mighty Kagura!"
"Meowwwww, they're scared?" Millianna questioned running along side Risley
"They should be, of our Kagura-" Risley turned to the Lacrima screen
"I'm going to wipe that smirk off your face with the power of my memory!"
Vyra looked around hearing the crowd roar as she ran to the next coordinate. What could've gotten them so riled up?
"Atta boy Gray-" Vyra blushed looking up to the lacrima screen with the boy wearing Rufus' hat
"Fairy Tail is now in first place with 50 points!"
'Okay, gotta aim for the leaders and stay clear of that Kagura girl-'
"Erza was right, she looked like she was going to kill me..."
Stuck in her own head, the bluenette didn't even notice the beam of black lightning that struck her from behind.
She screamed out in pain falling forward harshly onto the ground.
'C-Crap...'
She propped herself up on her elbow's looking back to see the green haired Sabertooth mage walking in her direction.
"You know, that wasn't really nice to strike a girl in the back like that~" She sighed dusting off her clothes as if the attack didn't even affect her
"I felt stronger lightning then that pal!" The girl taunted as he sent out another beam which she quickly dodged by doing an aerial flip
"Moonlight mage of the Fairy Tail guild, pretty impressive-" Olga smirked as the girl snapped
"I have a name you know-"
"Right... Ms. Fernandes-" He teased striking a chord within the bluenette's nerves
'I'm so gonna kill this guy...' Vyra balled her hands into tight fists
She blinked thinking her eyes were playing tricks on her, but there was no way she was wrong. The girl saw sparks of yellow lightning on the ground as footsteps were heard behind her.
She slowly turned around as the dragon slayer stood still.
"L-Laxus?" She spazzed as he smirked
The man had his arms crossed as he unleashed a HUGE beam of golden lightning towards the Sabertooth member
"KYAAAA~~!" Vyra screamed barely able to dodge the unexpected attack
"L-Laxus! Watch it would ya!?" She jumped running over to his left side making him lightly chuckle
She lightly blushed 'When was the last time I heard him laugh?'
Olga stood unfazed as it was now his turn to attack.
He sent out a beam of black lightning as Laxus easily dodged and Vyra threw out a defensive spell protecting the two just in case.
Laxus and Vyra shifted their battle stances as did Olga preparing for a fight until a certain voice shook them to their core.
"Look at that-"
"I came across a couple of strong wizards..."
Vyra's eyes widened
"Jura... one of the 10 wizard saints!" Olga whispered as nervous sweat trickled down his forehead
"Shall I join the contest as well?" The man appeared out of the shadows
"My blood hasn't burned like this for a long time-"
'A dragon slayer, a god slayer, a wizard saint and a me...' Vyra looked around
'Well...'
'This could be fun~' She smirked
