Jupiter woke to a blaring noise.

Her eyes opened wide, her mouth gaping slightly at the alarms going off on the main interface, her heart going double time at the rude awakening. Grey stood by the controls, dark eyes wide, their long sharp teeth bared. Jupiter struggled to her feet, and not even bothering to grab her curtch, wobbled on her cast. She felt a little ridiculous when Grey grabbed her from underneath the armpits and lifted her back to the makeshift seat. Jupiter growled.

"Shoot!" she hissed, fingertips going about the command keyboard.

Grey hovered behind her, wringing their hands.

"It just stared-"

"It's fail-safe. Balem programmed a virus if anyone ever tried to take information about the Heart of the Earth out of the data banks. It erases them completely in the main system and alerts him of the data transfer. Even Seraphi's override doesn't erase the fact that I tried to take them out. It takes some time to activate, leaving anyone none the wiser of the alarm."

Jupiter stared at the sheeve with the information and realized that the virus had corrupted the information. It's there. Still there... She turned back to the main interface.

"Lord Balem knows that the Planetary Core has been breached and that someone was enquiring after the Heart of the Earth. We cannot return while the Earth is not legally yours. We must leave now, Jupiter."

Jupiter slammed her hands against the side of the command keyboard, "NO! I can save the data-"

"We have no idea if Lord Balem has been made aware of the issue, or if he has despatched a security team. I am not an S-classed Keeper, Jupiter, I do not have the training nor the weapons to defend us."

Jupiter shook her head, fingertips flying again.

"The transfer is almost-"

The natural light of the Planetary Core fluctuated. The force field, holding back the earth's upper core, started to blend into a black. The only light left was the light from the floor, but that too was starting to go.

"It's too late," whispered Grey.
