Above Woodard and John R in a high rise apartment building, a very special woman is enjoying the fruits of her work. Just returning from her afternoon swim she settles on the couch and turns on the television. She sees the top story about the terrorist attack in downtown Detroit and the mayor with business leaders was trapped by the criminal Bulleye. He had already killed several police officers and had caused the crash of a police helicopter. Just when all hope seen lost the enigmatic hero Night Thrasher arrives on the scene and he is battling the criminal.

Madame Choas turns up the volume with peak interest. She had ensured the mayor and others that it would be by her hand that Night Thrasher would fall, but if Bulleye was anything like his reputation she might not get the chance. It was selfish for her but she wanted to see Dwyane win, only so she could finish him off later at a time of her choosing.

Bullseye was gaining some respect from his adversary which he did not like. The last time this happen it was with Daredevil. Night Thrasher had managed to block his throwing cards, and dodge another set of cards. Bullseye prided himself on never missing. His attacks being block were one thing, but for someone to dodge his attack, that meant he was missing his target. That he could not handle. As he launches another attack this time one card was going high and the other low.

Night Thrasher sees the attack and ducks under the high card while blocking the low card. He knew that with each throw Bullseye was getting closer and he knew that he could not stay on the defensive. He throws a smoke bomb of his own, and once the smoke clears he is in front of his enemy.

"You think you can take me in hand to hand combat. Come learn you poor fool that Bullseye can do more than just throw things."

Night Thrasher thunder punch is counter and he is kicked in the stomach by Bullseye. Who follows up his attack by a combination punch that strikes Thrasher sending him back. He recovers and thinks this is why he is always pushing Robert to practice because you never know how skilled your opponent might be. He rolls through as Bullseye sidesteps him, but Thrasher tries to sweep his leg but Bullseye easier leaps over the attack.

"Is this the best you can do? I can't believe you were able to stay out of my reach, but if defeated you up close and personal is more to your liking. Let's go again."

Chord was watching from afar and he could see that Dwayne was in trouble. Bullseye had him at a disadvantage, he was losing but he wanted to keep Bullseye focus on him so we would not attack any more officers. But the strategy might get him killed. Chord wonders what he should do, then he makes up his mind to try to help get the mayor to get clear. The other gunmen that came with Bullseye still had then penned down.

Just a few minutes away from downtown Rocket Racer was going as fast as he could as he dodges the heavy traffic. He tried to contact Dwayne and Chord but there was no answer. He hopes that it didn't mean that they were in trouble. Thrasher has always been able to handle himself and Chord for not having any powers or super-suit has been able to take care of himself. He only hopes he would find them both ok once he arrives.

"We have been at this for over ten minutes, why don't you just stay down and die? You can't outfight me, and the few punches you have landed didn't even slow me down. So why don't you just be a good hero and die, so I can go back to spending time with the mayor."

"You are a psycho, I would never run away or lay down and let you harm anymore innocence in this city. I have been keeping your mind on me, but let me show you the best I have."

Thrasher used his ram punch that catches Bullseye on the left side of his face and before he can recover he follows with a chop to his throat and then throws him by the neck to the ground. Bullseye can't believe what just happen, but he knew what every hero's weakness was. He throws a card at the reporter, Thrash jumps in the way as he pushes her out of harm's way. But the card catches his right side. His armor absorbs some of the impacts but he was hurt.

When he turns around Bullseye had found a pair of knives standing above his fallen foe getting ready to deliver the last blow.
