Sarah had a hard time controlling her urge to run. After his near death experience, Jareth was moving slow and she didn't want them to get separated from one another any more than he did. They walked to the end of the barricade, but no one was in sight.

Sarah's heart began to pound as she thought, trying to remember what had happened before she'd gone to take care of Jareth.

"Lenna went to the top of the barricade," she reminded herself out loud. She looked at Jareth. "Wait here," she told him.

"No, I'm coming with you."

Sarah turned to face him. "You're in no condition to scale this right now. I'll be fine, I promise."

Jareth sneered at her, making his frustrations evident, but gave in. "Go," he said, waving her onward.

Sarah climbed to the top of the barricade, her heart pounding in her ears the entire way there as she anticipated what she might find.

"Oh, no," she breathed when she finally reached the top and found them all lying there in pools of blood. She crouched down to check their pulses and breathing to make sure they were alive.

"Well?" she heard Jareth call after a few minutes.

"They're alive," she called back. "We need to get them down somehow, though. They're unconscious and there's an awful lot of blood up here."

She began to check to see how bad the wounds were while waiting on Jareth's response.

"Where is Deziktra?" he finally asked.

Sarah's brow furrowed. "The witch?"

"Yes, the witch. Where is she?"

Sarah looked around out past the barricade where the witch had been at the start of the battle. "There," she called out. "She's lying in the area she was in when she attacked you. Would you like me to see if she's alive?"

"No!" Jareth shouted. "No," he called again a moment later, much softer. "It's too dangerous. Come back down and we'll go check together."
