What is this feeling?

Winter 1987

Percy hurriedly push his chart away from platform 9 3/4. Bill and Charlie following behind and they waiting their Dad near the station's entrance.

Audrey got arrived from another train and hurriedly walking to find her parents, she walks along with a few of her friends arround. Percy dissapointedly watch her walking away as she didnt notice him.

Later on as he can not find her alone, he leaves a secret charm protected paper bag contained the Bertiebott all flavour bean, some toffees and a short note;

'I miss you! I wish your holiday goes well.

ps: be carefull the candy beans really have all flavour included paper, dirt, earwax and boogey' on her windowshill.

Audrey excitedly running arround and slippedly asking if Mother see Percy. Mrs. Jones wrinkling her nose and thinking why Audrey's imaginary friend come back after the pschiatrist said she seems already forgeting 'him.'

Audrey frowning in regret and got bad mood all the week as she tried to find Percy's house with no result.

Finally she hung a xmas sock on her own windowshill with a thick letter along with her book present for Percy. At the last night of holidays, finally the note and the book replaced with a plastic wrapped apple candy, a cute little bottle of apple scented bubblesoap and a note, 'Thank you for the book.'

Audrey cried all night long that she missed to meet him again, and departed with swelled eyes.

Summer 1988

Percy think may be if he comes in early morning, he could meet her. But it seems she is not at home. He leaves an apple on her windowshill. But a few days later, he found the apple all withered untouch. He replace it with a box containing a bottle of apple scented bubblesoap. And finally at the last holiday morning, he found a xmas sock hung with a thick letter and another book present for his birthday. She told him she went to a summercamp, telling him her exciting experiences, and only stay home for a few days and apparantly has already come back to her school.

Percy really wish he could write her back, but he just keep his roll as he knows the risk if the roll got exposed.

Winter 1988

Percy saw her again in King Cross. Holding hand with a boy, and he kissed her cheeck before they separating away.

Percy somehow feel dissapointed and sad.

He leaves a sugarquil on her windowshill and never come back to check again.

Audrey get the sugarquil, and put the sock with a letter, ask him to meet, but the letter stay untouched until her last holidays, and she cried all night long.

She saw him at the King Cross, walking hurriedly with his trunk along with his brothers, little sister, his Dad, and probably his Mom.

She mustering her courage and running to catch him. But in a blink she lost him again.

She then go to her own train, sobbing in an unknowing deep heartache.

Alex, her boyfriend found her and joining her. He though Audrey get sad as she still miss her home, hug her and comforting her.

But her tears keep dripping for a few days, and she broke up Alex, because he said, "Hush, BABY dont cry."

After a week, her homeroom teacher send her to the school infimary.

Even though she keep her mouth shut, the pschiatrist give her some sedatives to relieving her blues.

She didnt know how they do that, but later on they found out that she got her 'imaginary friend' back.

They soothing her, giving her the 'farewell talk' with 'Percy' and everything. She know they all wrong, but she just can not keep her tears off. When she aware, she hold her self tight because even if she talk the truth, they will still think she's day dreaming.

She stop taking her sedatives and brace her heartache, with studying harder. She not even write him any letters. (What, are they searched her stuffs?)

That day in the King Cross is the last time Audrey saw Percy. She grows and start believing may be Percy really not exist, but she keep hung her xmas sock outside her window.
