Part Thirty One
The following morning Jackie rushes around the house whilst hyde watches her confused,
"Jackie your giving me a headache!"
"I'm running late Steven!"
"To what?"
"Oh me and kitty are taking Amber to new born baby group "
"Sounds fun. Uh you need a ride?"
"No I'm fine. Have a good day honey" Jackie kisses his cheek as hyde leaves the house as Jackie continues getting ready.
Donna is sat in the basement reading a magazine when in walks kelso,
"Hey kelso"
"Hey" kelso sits sadly into a chair tears in his eyes,
"Listen Brooke told me..."
"Wait Brooke still sees you?" Donna nods her head ,
"Well not often just sometimes "
"So did you know?!"
"Yes..."
"Donna! How could you!" Kelso storms out the room donna running after him.
Jackie and Kitty was sat in the circle with the other parents, Amber sat in Jackie's lap as they all sing happily Amber smiling,
"Aw she loves it!" Jackie says pleased that she made her daughter smile,
"She is such a cutie pie!" Kitty says cooing at Amber , when brooke carrying Betsy enters the room,
"Oh brooke hey. I thought this was for new born?"
"Yeah the next group is for older babies"
"Oh okay...aw wow betsy has grown quickly she has your eyes"
"Yeah ...so how is Michael?"
"Honestly not great...but I am sure that you guys can figure things out " brooke just nods slowly looking unsure before she sit down at the back of the room waiting for the class to finish.
Hyde was busy in the store, somehow people were crowding in the store making him and Angie rushed off their feet. Eric came in looking surprised at the crowds, he wearing a shirt and tie as he makes his way to hyde at the till,
"Hey man why so busy here?"
"Good question Foreman. It's a mystery. So what's with the suit?"
"I had that interview at the school today"
"Oh yeah man how was it?"
"Great. I actually nailed it man"
"Well I am pleased for you Foreman!"
"Thanks . Well I will leave you to it then. See you later man"
"Bye"
Jackie and Kitty enter the Foreman's house , Jackie holding amber in her carrier as they sit in the sitting room. Jackie gently lifts Amber out of the carrier and places her onto her lap, bobbing her up and down on her knee making Amber laugh lightly,
"Oh angel your laughing!" Jackie kisses her head as Kitty goes into the kitchen to get them drinks . Donna enters through the front door looking flustered as she sits next to Jackie,
"Jackie I have really screwed up!"
"Why what's happened?!"
"I knew brooke was seeing someone else. I told brooke to tell kelso and today...well kelso found out I knew all along!" Jackie raises her eyebrows ,
"Damn Donna...listen you did the right thing but handled it badly thats all. Kelso will forgive you donna he will have is sulk first"
"Yeah maybe...God so much drama lately we could all do with a break"
"Tell me about it. But I have a baby so I can't go waltzing off!"
"Oh you guys! I have a fab idea!" Kitty says excitedly,
"You all take a trip somewhere and I can have sometime looking after my grand baby"
"Oh I don't know kitty. She's so young and I'm still breastfeeding...plus I don't want to be away from Amber " kitty takes Jackie's hand,
"Jackie sweetie I understand I have been there . But I promise you that it will be good for you all . Unless how bout we all go down and visit Midge?" Donna nods her head slowly,
"It has been awhile. Plus it'll be great to have fun together. You can take Amber onto the beach " Jackie sighs slowly thinking it through in her head, she and hyde could do with a break especially after the family dramas they have dealt with,
"I will speak to Steven " she says making donna and kitty hug Jackie excitedly.
Hyde arrives home and tiredly enters the kitchen to find Jackie busy preparing food, he wraps his arms around her waist and spins her round to face him,
"Oh hello husband!"
"Hello wife" they kiss before Jackie goes back to preparing food and hyde takes a beer out the fridge and sits at the table,
"How was work honey?"
"Very busy. How was the baby group thing?" Jackie smiles warmly ,
"Oh Steven Amber loved it she was smiling!" Steven smiles sipping his beer,
"Where is she?"
"Sleeping. Today worn her out. Listen kitty and donna are wanting us all to go visit midge for a few days. What you think?"
"What about Amber?"
"She comes with us. I mean I was hesitant at first but we do need some time to ourselves to relax and have fun" hyde nods his head ,
"You have been through a lot "
"We both have. Plus we can take her to the beach and make sandcastles. As a kid my parents never did that with me..."
"Screw it ! I'm in let's go!"
Kelso is lying on his sofa sipping a beer and crying as he watches telly, Fez enters the room and sits on the edge of the sofa,
"My friend you look just as miserable as me! "
"Yeah what's got you sad?" Fez sighs longingly,
"Lonely. Eric and hyde are lucky they found they're soulmates. And then there is me .nobody loves little fez" kelso pats his arm,
"Atleast we can be alone together "
"Kelso you such an idiot! Your not alone you have a family! Brooke is still the mother to your child. And that is a bond for life my friend!" Kelso nods standing up looking determined,
"Your right fez! I'm going to go see my family!" Kelso hurries out the apartment leaving Fez alone.
Jackie rocks Amber gently waiting for her to drift into sleep, hyde enters the bedroom and places a hand on the small of Jackie's back,
"Baby I'll take her you go get some sleep angel " Jackie relieved carefully hands Steven the baby before kissing her head,
"Sweet dreams angel " Jackie the kisses hydes cheek and leaves the room, she falls into her bed exhausted as she snuggled into her duvet, closing her eyes as she smiles contentedly she loves her family and her life and she knew that her parents were doing her a favour by leaving.
