HELLSING WITCH HUNTER:1616
SAPPHIREWYREN
Ch. 32: Good Days, Bad Days and New Homes
Disclaimer: I do not own Hellsing
When a person, finds out that their friend has a shiny new toy, compared to their busted one, they will want a new one. And if someone has a thing new horse of pure bloodlines, it makes the other people a tad envious. But in the Hunters' case, when Sam and Seras found out that Integra had a sword that could chop up their demons into mincemeat, they were more than envious, they felt betrayed. Sam thought well then Integra could kill all the demons in England. That got a scoff from Walter who said that would only be possible of all the demons in England lined up. Seras wanted to know why Integra didn't tell then, it was Sam's turn to scoff saying that the Hellsing heiress didn't respect them enough to tell them anything. Walter pointed out that Byakko was a silver statue, most likely because Integra had yet to learn how to use that power. "I was holding back," said Integra as she entered the living room, Sam gave her and a nasty glare, "You will pay for that."
"You forget that you threatened my son; so unless you want to become a silver statue, I advise that you shut your mouth!" It was then that Seras handed something to Integra, it was from the Queen. "Well damn, she can spell my name." After opening the envelope and taking out the letter, "and she spelled her own correctly." Someone did not respect the Queen. After reading the letter, Integra fixed Seas with a steel blue-eyed stare, "What the hell is this?"
"A letter," said Seras simply.
"Cute", Integra took a step towards Seras, who took several steps towards Anderson. "Let me rephrase the question, what is the meaning of this shit?" "Now Sir Integra, let's stay calm," said Anderson. "Let Seras answer." Seras was glad that Anderson was there, Integra wouldn't hit him; he was twice if not three times her size, right?
She doesn't have to hit him. She could put a seal on his navel and blow his insides.
Thanks, but not helping Bahamut. "It is my reward."
"Your reward? For what?"
"For saving the Queen during the assassination attempt at the gala."
"And you asked for this?"
Integra tossed the letter on the table, "Well I hope you can get a replacement because you wasted that one." Sam picked up the letter and read it:
To the Hunter known as Integra Hellsing,
It is by the Royal Command of Her Majesty Queen Gwendolyn of the great country of England that she restores the Demon sword of the Hunter known as Samielle McClaren to its fullest power and potential...
Sam didn't have to read the rest of the letter, "Seras, you didn't have to do this for me."
Seras smiled, "Sam, you're my best friend and that's what friends are for. Besides we are also the King's Hunters, we're going to need Byakko."
Everyone turned to look at Integra when she burst out in laughter.
"What is so fucking funny?" said Sam.
"Why the ridiculous scene in front of me" answered Integra with a chuckle. "There's nothing funny going on here," said Seras; she looked at Walter hoping he would say something, but that man had gotten good at not speaking. So she continued, "You have to do it, Integra, the Queen commands it." This caused Integra to laugh again and Anderson said "Sir Integra, you have a strange sense of humor."
"The situation is quite laughable" replied the Huntress lighting a cigar.
"Care to explain why you would refuse a command from the Queen?" said Anderson.
"Because she doesn't know what she is asking for."
"She wrote it in the letter."
"I thought you were supposed to be smart", smirked Sam.
"It is a good thing I don't feel the same about you, so I will keep it simple. The Queen knows what I did to Sam's sword, correct? Then the King knows as well. But does either of them know why?" Everyone in the room was silent, Sam met Integra's eye with a defiant glare. "So if I told the Queen that I am giving a powerful weapon to the moron who nearly killed an innocent person; would she have written such a letter?" Integra made her way to Seras until they were inches apart "Seras Victoria, you do the Hunters, the Queen and the country a grave dishonor by omitting the truth. If the Queen was to ever find out what your 'friend' had done, she would be disappointed. If this what friends do for each other than you must be the lowest form of a friend."
Seras gasped and tears came to her eyes, "You…."
Walter said, "Sir Integer, that's a bit harsh, is it not?"
"It's about to get worse." The Huntress turned to Sam, "When I report this little farce to His Majesty, and I will, the topic of punishment will come up. Usually, the punishment for attempted murder is at least 20 to 25 years and that's handed down from a judge. But as a King's Hunter that's different."
"Sir Hellsing..." started Anderson he knew what she was going to say. But Integra ignored the priest, "A Hunter that commits a crime as heinous as turning their Demon Blade on an innocent civilian, would be stripped their swords, by any means necessary."
"But I thought no one but the Hunters could even touch the Demon Swords," said Seras softly.
"You two don't know anything," said Integra with a sigh. She then unsheathed Casull and threw it towards the door, where it was caught by Schrodinger who had been quietly listening to the conversation. "Casull's not a Demon Sword. After the guilty Hunter's sword is taken and destroyed, they will be hung until they are dead. Their name will be a disgrace to everyone who hears it." Seras sank into the nearest chair and started to cry, while the defiance went out of Sam's eyes. But Integra was still not done, "The same will happen to all Hunters or anyone else who is an accomplice with the traitor Hunter that would include you, Seras. And if I were too stupid enough to do as the Queen commanded, I would also be executed. And the truth comes out; the people could demand the Queen's head as well because she gave the order. So Seras, you have just now got four people killed and three families disgraced, all in the name of friendship." Schrodinger dropped Casull and ran cup to Integra and hugging her waist started sobbing. Integra ran a hand softly through his hair, "You two fools have no heirs and if you did, you have nothing to give them. However Schrodinger is my son, adopted but still my son, and if my name is disgraced, he will get nothing and most likely be forced to go back to stealing and begging on the streets." The temperature in the room took a sudden nosedive like an airship that blew an engine. "THAT IS NOT SOMETHING I WILL ALLOW! Now, if you all would be so kind, please get the bloody fuck out." The group left the living room and Philip, who had been standing outside, closed the large doors. "The stuff she said back in there, that's for real?" asked Seras.
"When have you known for Sir Hellsing to tell tales, Miss Seras?" was Philip's reply. "I would suggest you two go to the Hunter's Lodge and stay there until you are called by Sir Hellsing."
"Why?" asked Sam who was still pissed a bit at Integra's comment about Seras being the lowest type of friend. She might have told Seras she was another George Whitehall. Philip unlike Walter could care less about Sam and Seras feelings, "Sir Hellsing will report this to the King and it would look better if you were there instead of trying to flee England."
"I'm…. sorry, I didn't know" whimpered Seras. "I really screwed up." Anderson hugged the petite Huntress, "It will be alright, lass. We'll think of something." Sam snorted, "Well Integra got what she wanted - us being dead."
"I'm sure that is not what she wanted."
"Open your eyes, Leprechaun, that bitch wanted us dead since the first day we met."
Anderson glared at Sam, "Don't call me 'leprechaun', Miss Samielle." Seras had enough arguing and bad news, she just wanted some quiet time. "Sam, please, no arguing…."
At that moment Walter walked past them leading Captain Trench and Mara. While Mara and Walter went through the doors to the living room, while the large man said "I hope you're satisfied, Samielle, you've ruined a good soldier, the girl can't even sleep without nightmares about some bloody tiger and your ugly mug."
Sam just shrugged, "Too bad guess her imitation of Integra wasn't that good." Seras could swear she saw a vein pop in Trench's forehead before he punched Sam in the face. Anderson leaped into action pulling Trench off the Hunter. But it was proved to be a bad idea because Sam took the opening to attack Trench. The man roared like an angered grizzly, elbowing Anderson, breaking his glasses and nose, he then grabbed Sam and threw her across the hall, smashing some vases and portraits. Sam landed on her feet and pulled out a pistol and fired at Trench, getting him in the shoulder. The Captain charged toward the assassin, large knife in his hand, Sera screamed for the two stop and Philip merely stood to the side with a bored look on his face, Seras turned to him and said: "Why don't you do something?"
"You're the Hunter, for the time being, I should be asking you that question was the butler's reply. Anderson was now trying to hold both Sam and Trench apart. Seras ran over and grabbed Sam, while the priest held the angered captain. "Let me go, Seras so I can kill the fucker!" screamed Sam.
"I'd love to see you try, you filthy cunt!" yelled Trench.
"What I would like to know is why my house is becoming a warzone," said Integra, who now stood behind the four. Walter, Schrodinger, and Mara peeked out from the door and Philip stood next to his employer.
"Is there any time of your life where you haven't screwed up, Sam?"
Sam started to answer, but Integra held up a hand, "You know what I don't want to know. One count of attempted murder, and now you are trying to kill the leader of my soldiers?"
"He attacked me first!"
"If you kept your damn mouth shut, then I would not have to snap you in half!" stormed Trench.
"Enough! Philip take Captain Trench to the medical facility, along with Anderson. Once you are patched up, Trench report to my office, and Anderson you know where the exit, use it" all this was said the soft voice Integra used before she could usually think of something painful to do someone or say something that made you wish she had hit you. "Samielle, Seras, you two are to stay here for the night, you are free to decline. However you are to report at Greymoore at 10 in the morning, do not be late. I will give my report to His Majesty and let him decide to deal with you. Knowing him, I assure you he will be lenient, because of your service.
"I'm betting you're hoping that he has us hang," said Sam. Philip sighed and rolled his eyes, but Integra said, "Please Sam, I am too tired for this. I am beginning to think you may have some unresolved issues that need to be dealt with, God knows I have." Seras elbowed Sam before she could say anything else. "There was a time I had thought you would make a good Hunter, Sam, but for some reason, you like to prove me wrong. Sometimes I wish I was more like my father, his patience was never-ending. In some strange way, I think he would have liked you."
"What the..."
Integra walled back into the living room where Mara was waiting and Walter followed, closing the doors behind them. Seras took Sam by the arm and they returned to the Hunter's Lodge. They would need to rest or at least try.
Mara sat on the couch and even though she knew she shouldn't have her feet on the furniture, it was the only way, she could hug her knees. After the incident with Sam, she kept having nightmares and sleeping soon became a luxury she couldn't afford. Mara had wanted to be Hellraiser ever since Integra saved her and now here she was having a mental breakdown. No matter how much she willed herself to get over what happened, nothing worked. At the moment across from her sat Integra and at the end of the couch, was the cat-boy Schrodinger who was asleep and she could see the tear stains on his face. What the hell did Sam do to him? Integra spoke, "Tomorrow you will see His Majesty and tell him what happened between you and Sam."
"D... do I have to?"
"Yes, we need to end this once and for all."
"But Sir... I'm afraid."
"Good, if you weren't I would think you would need to have your head checked. Don't worry, Captain Trench and I will be there with you."
"What about Claudine?"
Claudine had been the person that Mara had been sparring when Sam interrupted. She had told Captain Trench that she wanted to help Mara and the captain said that he would ask Integra. The Hunter nodded, "She was witness to this... atrocity, so Officer Claudine will also be there." This made Mara feel better, but just a little "I feel so pathetic I've trained so hard and now this happens."
"You will get through this, Mara. I honestly don't know or when, but I know you will."
"Thank, Sir Hellsing. What is going to Sam? The Hunters?"
"I know His Majesty will probably not have her executed. As for the Hunters; I do not know. I do know that neither Sam nor Seras will be allowed on the premises again. I will not sully my family home with them in it."
"I like Seras..."
"She chose her bed now she must lie in it, as long as she hangs around Sam, she will never realize her true potential. Now get some rest, Mara." The Hellraiser left the living room and headed back to the barracks. She kind of felt sorry for Seras, but the girl didn't know how to choose her friends. Those two probably didn't like Sir Hellsing because of jealousy. Sir Hellsing was everything they were not; poised, focused, confident, and driven. Not to mention an amazing fighter and incredible tactician, that's what Mara, wanted to be. Maybe it wasn't written on her face or she didn't give hugs but Integra cared about those in her charge. One time Mara had heard Sam call Integra a heartless bitch and that made her mail. Mare shook her head, she had to get some rest first, tomorrow would be quite a day.
Later that evening, Philip led Trench to Integra's office as she commanded and they talked behind closed doors for nearly three hours. What they talked about, the butler could only guess. Most likely it was about the meeting with the King the next day or the incident that had happened earlier that day. Either way, Philip wouldn't know the details unless Integra wanted him to know. Just as long as Sam was gone, he didn't care, she was a pain in the ass anyway. When Trench did leave the office, Philip entered the office with a tray of tea. Integra was standing near one of the large windows staring up at the stars, "I keep thinking where I went wrong. What do you think, Philip?"
"I believe the three of you were never really compatible. Each of you has a different view of what a Hunter should be. The positives are that you believe a Hunter should be disciplined and loyal, Seras believe that it is kindness and Sam believes in swift actions." Integra glanced back at Philip and said "And the negatives is?" Philip ran a hand through his hair and cleared his throat, "Some would say you are uptight, cold and, not personable. Seras is naive and indecisive, always looking to others for the answers and Sam as brash, disloyal and extremely lazy, thinking only of herself"
"Look like I have a new therapist."
"I would rather remain your butler, if it's all the same with you, Sir. I am not trained in psychoanalysis." Integra nodded, "I am going to check on Baskerville and Schrodinger, after that, I do not want to be disturbed for the rest of the night."
"Of course, Sir."
When Integra went to the stables she was glad to see that Schrodinger was in brighter spirits and that Baskerville had made a full recovery. The stallion hated being cooped up in his stall after a couple of apples, a saddle was placed on Baskerville's back and he ran full speed across the pastures and through the forest. Schrodinger had made the decision not to put a bridle or reigns on the stallion since he knew that Integra would let him to his heart's content. Rider and horse glided through meadows and forests scattering a herd of deer and flocks of game fowl. They splashed through creeks and sailed effortlessly over hedges and fallen logs. Soon the two came to a hill that looked over the meadows they raced through. The run reminded Integra of when she had first bought Baskerville; they had bonded through runs like this, feeling of the wind whipping through their hair and the feeling of triumph for every obstacle that was cleared. After a few moments on the hill, two turned around and galloped back towards the Estate. Only the hoofbeats of the large horse could be heard resonating through the night air. When the two returned to stables, Walter was waiting for them, "I'm guessing from that smile, you are feeling better, Sır."
"I needed that, so did Baskerville" answered Integra as she swung from the saddle. The horse nudged Walter looking for pears, because what use was he without pears? When the horse found no pears from Walter, be turned to Hans who had appeared with some. Integra chuckled at the whinny the stallion gave that clearly said "Finally!" The commander gave the horse a hearty pat on the shoulder good night and headed back to the manor.
Hellsing Estate - The Next Morning - 7:00 a.m.
Schrodinger crept de towards Integra' bedroom door and opened it slowly, he walked through the sitting area, throw open the door and leaped towards the sleeping form of Integra on the bed. But the cat boy was grabbed out of the air,
"Meow?"
"If you think I'd fall for that again, you need a new bag of tricks, Schrodinger." smiled Integra.
"Aww come on, mom" as the boy scurried out toward the dining room, "Hurry mom or I'll eat your breakfast!"
Hellraisers Barracks
Why did all bad days always have to be on a nice sunny day? Mara wondered as she showered and put on her formal uniform. "Am I overdressed?" she asked. Claudine laughed, "We are going to see His Majesty, so it would be better than our beat up armor." Nadine, Claudine's twin sister piped "Captain Trench said we would get new armor, I hope he didn't forget."
"It's latrine duty for all of you, slowpokes" laughed Claudine mimicking
Trench's deep voice.
"I don't sound anything like that," said Trench, who was also wearing his formal uniform. "Come on slowpokes, we can't be late to meet the King." After a quick breakfast, the three Hellraisers went to retrieve their horses and headed toward the front gate. Why was everyone in high spirits? Didn't they know how serious this was? Maybe they were trying to lighten the mood. Whatever it was Mara found that she couldn't share the feeling. The last to arrive was Integra, Schrodinger, and Philip, who rode a ginger-colored thoroughbred mare. The gate was opened and outside on their horses were the rest of the Hellraisers. "What are you doing here?" demanded Trench. Lowen spoke up, "Mara's one of us, our sister, so we're here to support her." The captain looked at Integra, who said with a shrug, "It's fine by me, but they are to stay outside." The Hellraisers gave a loud cheer. "Also get into formation; we are not a gang of bandits."
"Yes Sir!
Mara glanced at Claudine, who wore a grin on her face and she felt happiness well up in her chest. She now knew that she would be able to move past the trauma with the help of the Hellraisers, Trench, and Integra. Feeling braver, Mara sat up straighter in the saddle.
Greymoore Castle - Conference Room - 9:30 a.m.
Seras, Sam, and Father Anderson sat in the conference room with the Queen who was fuming that Integra had once again regarded her authority with about as much a cow regards a horse fly. She looked at the short curt note that Integra had sent along with the letter that she had written. "Damn that woman!" the Queen muttered. Albrecht should have turned down this meeting but since it was Integra, he allowed it. She left the room to be by her husband when he greeted the Huntress; she wanted to be sure that there would be no flirting or kissing of hands. Soon Integra arrived and behind her was looked like an army. Albrecht looked surprised, "Is there a war, I'm unaware of Sir Integra?"
"It was their idea to come; I couldn't stop them," answered Integra.
"They will be staying here," said Captain Trench. Those who were to join the royal couple dismounted and followed the royal couple to the conference room. "Now will someone please tell me what this about?" asked Albrecht and Integra told him everything. When it was Mara and Claudine's time to talk, they told off to Sam's behavior and the near murder of Mara, and Integra reminded that the punishment a Hunter would receive and the danger the Queen could be in. After everything was told and out in the open, the Queen was the first to speak, "Dear I had no idea... I was never told of what Hunter Sam had done. If I had known that I would have never..." Albrecht took his wife's had in his own, "It is okay, Wendy." Turning to the group the King said gravely, "This is serious and something like this has never happened before. So now we must decide what happens now. Mare, you were the one that was attacked, what do you think Sam's punishment should be?" The Hellraiser didn't hesitate, "She should be executed." Claudine nodded in agreement. Philipp, Schrodinger, and Anderson's had nothing to do with the altercation, so Albrecht didn't ask them. However Trench was asked the same question, "I don't believe that Seras should hang even if she did ask for a stupid reward, so a decade or three in prison should be fine. Sam, I believe should be drawn and quartered and her body dumped in a nameless grave or eaten by crows, whichever one comes first."
Albrecht turned to Integra said, "This happened on your property, so whatever they can decide, I will support." The heiress glared at the two Hunters. They were completely useless as Hunters or near to useless. The two have clearly never studied the Hunters history, what the bloody hell were they doing all these years they were supposed to be training? While Seras was a good person, she chose to blindly follow Sam in disagreeing with everything she said, something that her father is probably turning in his grave about. Some of the people of England were beginning to question the Hunters' competence and wondering if they were even needed. And Integer hated being thought of incompetent; she did not to where she was because of ineptitude. Sam and Seras thought of Bahamut and Byakko as pets or friends, clearly forgetting that years ago they wanted to exterminate mankind. Who was to say the Abysmal Demons were not planning the same thing at the moment? The very fact that Sam and Seras are even being called Hunters was a disgrace to the whole country. They nearly get themselves and two other people killed, probably a fifth if Schrodinger ended up on the streets. They nearly disparage the remaining Hunter family's name. Sam nearly killed Mara for no reason that Integra could think of; shot Trench and threatened her son, Integra would have loved to see Sam dead and Seras could spend some years in the same cell the would-be assassin occupied, and she could care less. But the two could not be as useless as they made themselves out to be, there had to be some redeemable qualities about them. And Integra remembered what Philip said the night before. Integra sighed before she spoke. "My personal feeling does not count in this manner. The country does not need two more disgraced families. What they did, especially Sam, was unforgivable, however, I am going to do what my father would have done and say that their lives be spared." Everyone in the room looked at each other and then at Integra and Trench said, "Are you sure you don't want to change your mind, Sır?" The commander shook her head, "This country has been protected by three families, not one. There are pressing matters that are concerning the Kings Hunters at the moment and the entire country's welfare depends on it."
"But, Sir, what about…." started Mara. Sam and Seras could only glare at Mara and Trench, "She already made her decision so shut up" said Sam.
"If you want Sam dead, you're to have to bell her and make it look like an accident," said Claudine.
"That's enough!" said Albrecht. "We are not going any further with the subject. Sir Hellsing, I believe you made a wise decision." There was a knock at the door and a man walked in and laid a large bundle on the table. Integra said "I have said this before but I will reiterate it, these demons are not friends, they are not pets, they are loyal only to themselves and therefore not to be trusted. Every word that comes out of their mouths is a filthy lie. There is no happiness with them; they only seek chaos and death to humans. That is why our fathers did not trust them. And if you two had spent time to learn about the Hunters before you would have realized if these swords were supposed to have granted the gift they claimed why are all the other Hunters dead?"
"Because they were pathetic and weak" said Sam.
"Exactly, like you two. Those Hunters were eventually driven mad and found very creative ways to kill themselves, ways that only demons could 'suggest' a human would."
"But Bahamut…." started Seras.
"Would never do that? He cares about you, Seras? Try to think for yourself or at least think of why our fathers tried to rid of these damned swords. But I solved this problem, by destroying the other three demons."
"You what?" cried the king jumping out his chair. In a small pocket in the side of the bundle, Integra took out three statues, one of a dragon scaled man: Bahamut, one of a woman, also with scales, but a fishtail; Charybdis and one of a tall man with sharp fang and large bat wings; Alucard. The page opened the bundle and gave each Hunter their sword. Sam was shocked to see her katana was newly forged and the others were astounded that someone else was holding the sword. Integra smirked, "We do not need the demons, just their abilities
"Oh seriously are you a witch and are you going to turn us into tree stumps?" asked Sam.
"It's just a couple of highly complex seals, something you would be able to do, if you read a book, Sam."
Albrecht was relieved to see that the Hunters would still have their blades, it abo gave an opening to the possibility of finding Hunters after these three. Since the fourth demon was not a sword but sealed in the Hunters bodies, they retained the abilities, it just took a blood seal to draw her out of them to destroy her.
"I knew that doctor's appointment last week was fishy," said Seras.
"What did you want me to do suck out your blood?" asked Integra
"Yeah and then go lower suck other parts of me," said Sam seductively.
"What happened to hating my guts and wanting to beat my ass? I liked that better."
"It's tiring being pissed at you for being a stuck up bitch, that's who you are, Even Al over there says so. As for beating your ass, I have a new interpretation of that now."
Seras smiled through her tears, Integra had saved their lives and now they could move forward. She could see Albrecht grinning at them and even Wendy was smiling and Seras decided that she would take some time to speak quietly with the Queen to clear up the misunderstanding. The King concluded the meeting and told the Hunters that the report from the Royal Guard and the police would be out in a few days, and the Sultan's answer to the invitation to England was still pending.
When they left the conference room Sam put an arm around Integra's shoulder and the other around Seras' and said with a large grin, "So what's for lunch when we get home?" The heiress responded in a deadpan voice, "I'm glad you're settled in the Hunter's Lodge to call it home."
"Funny, I meant that big ass house."
Integra took Sam's arm off from her shoulder, handling it the same way a person handles a used napkin, "That 'big ass house' as you call it is my home On the property are barracks, where the Hellraisers, such as Captain Trench and Officers Mara and Claudine, reside that is their home. That 'big ass house' is where Philip is employed and live, that is his home. That 'big ass house' is where my son lives. That is his home, which he will inherit when I'm dead. 'That big ass house' is not your home. It never will be." Mara and Claudine tried not to grin at the looks and on Sam and Seras' faces but were unsuccessful. Integra continued, "I did not save your lives because I want to be friends with you two, I did it so that you can realize your potential and use it. I did not modify those blades so that we can be all chummy, but for you two to learn what being a King's Hunter truly is and use what you learned to protect this country. You forgot that you tried to kill two of my employees and threatened my son, Sam. Therefore neither you nor sera are welcomed onto my property any more unless invited and there is a slim chance of that happening." "But why?" asked Seras mournfully.
"I just stated why, Seras. You are friends with Sam and I would hate to break up such a lovely friendship. And if either of you so much as step a single toe onto my property, I am within my rights to protect my home and my family, even if it means taking a lethal course of action. So where you live is of little consequence to me, I could care less. Just be sure to arrive at meetings promptly."
"So if we are not all together, how we supposed to know about attacks? Did you think of that, genius?" growled Sam.
"No" smirked Integra, "You did. Once your little idea of training volunteers is fine-tuned, that could be one way to deal with attacks."
"We could have jurisdictions or territories, which each Hunter can oversee and anyone who wants to volunteer in those territories can help. Back up for one or both Hunters could be used in extreme situations" added Claudine. "I have a cousin who is working on making radios more portable, so the Hunter can call each other on different channels."
"Excellent idea, Officer Claudine, "said Trench. Integra turned to Philip and
said, "Remind me later to extend an invitation to her cousin, I would like to know more about them, they could be a valuable asset."
"Of course, Sir."
"There you have it, Sam. I'm sure there will be more ideas, at which that time, I will let you know" said Integra. "Now if you don't mind, I would like to get home for lunch, I am quite hungry." As the group walked off on towards the front gate, Schrodinger asked, "So what are we having for lunch, mom?"
"Anything you want" was the reply.
"Meow! Alright, I want fish! Meow!"
"As long as we get to use proper utensils."
"You can, but I won't! Meow!"
Sam, Seras, and Anderson watched as Trench told the Hellraisers a summary of what happened. The Hellraisers cheered and clapped Mara on the back and soon they were headed back to the Estate. Anderson looked at Seras who looked crestfallen, she had thought; in her naiveté that the three would be back together like when they first started, but now Integra didn't even want to see them. "I take it back; she's a stuck up bitch cunt" said Sam angrily. "And she made us pay fuckin' rent!" A page ran up to Seras and said, "Sir Hellsing said to give this to you" and he scampered off. Seras opened up the envelope, instead were letters addressed to Sam and Seras, stating the rent that they have been paying had been deposited into their accounts. "Let's get you, lasses, home," Anderson said softly. Leave it to Integra to turn saving someone's life into a bad experience.
