Chapter 29

Sometime Later

The couple at some point managed to pull themselves away from Lucas's bedroom. There was this feeling that neither of them could place that took place whenever they were with each other.

They decided to hold off on announcing their big news to loved ones until they made Aurora of what was happening.

With their work shifts done for the day. The pair made the last minute choice to pick up Aurora together from school.

Lucas parked in front of the high school as he normally did everyday. When Aurora walked over to the car.

Her gaze went from her father to Brooke.

"What is she doing here.?" The teenager asked. Focusing her gaze on her father.

"Brooke and I will explain it all once we get home. Now get inside and buckle up. " Lucas said.

Aurora did as she was told and got into on of the backseats of the car. When her seatbelt was buckled. Lucas restarted the car and made his way home.

Aurora sat on a seperate chair. While Brooke and Lucas sat together.

"What exactly is going on here.?" The teenager asked.

Brooke lifted her hand showing off her ring finger.

"Brooke and I are are the first person who knows." Lucas proclaimed.

Aurora narrowed her gaze towards Brooke.

"Can i speak with Brooke alone.?" She asked.

Lucas shot a look towards Brooke.

Brooke looked back at him. Leaning over kissing him gently.

"I've got this covered. You start looking into fun stuff like cake tasting or our honeymoon." Brooke whispered into his ear.

Trusting that Brooke had the situation under control. Lucas left the living room and went to his home office. Once the double doors were closed.

Brooke looked to Aurora. "A much needed girl talk between us. Is what i've been wanting and waiting to have. So let's talk. You express whatever you're feeling." She said.

"I tell you to stay away from us. To move on. And somehow you end up engaged! What game are you trying to win here! You're motivation all along has been to go against you're parents wishes and end up with someone not from you're world.!"

"We are not you're social experiment! This is our life! Our family!"

"I just don't understand why and what you're getting out of this. But i won't stand by and watch you break our hearts again!" Aurora yelled.

The expression on Brooke's face softened. It was in that moment. Did she realize her breakup with Lucas broke his heart and hers.

She reached out to the teenager. Who pulled away.

"I love you're dad. And you. More then words can say. Our love, friendship, and connection. Is what brought us back together. But what i've failed to see and understand until now. How much you were hurt during what happened between us. For awhile there we were a family and i ruined it. For that i'm sorry. You spent most of you're life searching for a mom. Because Rachel was never really fit enough to do it. Yet you still longed and hoped for her love and attention then here i go."

"Making it seem as if you had a mother figure in you're life again. Then i ripped it away no warning. You have every right to be angry, hurt, and feel as if you can't trust me."

"I am in love with you're father. And i love you. I'm not going anywhere. This life is all i've ever wanted" Brooke said. Taking ahold of both the girl's hands. Staring directly into her eyes.

Aurora let go of Brooke's hands. And wrapped her arms around herself. "Marry him or don't. I won't be around to watch it happen." She said. Turning from Brooke as she left the living room and rushed up the stairs.

Awhile Later

The couple were in Lucas's office. Lucas's arms were wrapped around her. His leg rubbing between her thighs.

Brooke pulled her closer to her. Kissing him. "You are such a tease. Take something off me now." She pleaded.

Lucas shook his head from side to side. Patience my love. It will make the end result so much more satisfying." He said. His hand going up her shirt. Carefully cupping her breasts with his hand. Massaging them.

"Fuck! Take me now." Brooke demanded.

"I will. But first we talk. What changed you're mind about us being together and marriage. I've wanting to ask. I just wasn't ready for the answer." Lucas said.

Brooke locked eyes with him as she spoke.

"You. Me actually seeing a therapist and admitting that i was terrified of repeating my parent's mistakes to the point where i was going to walk away from the one man. That had ever made me feel. Loved, cherished, seen. So she told me to do self reflective work. And i did that. Which meant going to see my brother."

"He's 15. His name is Mathew. I saw so much of myself in him. We are going to at the very least attempt to build a relationship with him. In order to move on and forward. I have to forgive my father. Which won't happen overnight."

"More importantly i'm not my parents. Their mistakes won't be mine. I'm so ready to spend my life with you." Brooke said.

"Now take me out of these clothes." She demanded.

"So bossy. I like it." Lucas said. Pulling her shirt. Removing her bra in one swift movement.

Brooke took his shirt off. Climbed on top of the desk. And started to pull down his pants.

Lucas kicked his pants aside. And focused his gaze on her.

He pulled off her panties as she pulled his boxers down hard.

She got off the desk. And climbed on top of him.

Her eyes shutting. Biting her lip hard. As her hands gripped his shoulders.

He moved inside her slow at first. Then faster.

Brooke clawed his back.

Their eyes locked on each other.

She rubbed her clit. When she felt the pleasure begin to build.

She bit down on his neck. Screaming his name. As her body became overcome with so much pleasure she was left gasping for breath speechless.
