"This is completely unbelievable!" Lila complained while lying on her bed, "I get kicked out of the war and can't even rejoin because someone else has a Caster."

"You really do like hear yourself talk, don't you?" Tsubasa asked.

"How the hell did you get in my room?!"

"Your mom let me in, she's pretty stupid, you know that? She believed everything I said."

"What did you say?"

"I was borrowing a math book from you and came to give it back."

"What do you want?"

"Shirou wants me to tell you to forget about rejoining the war. I want to tell you that you'll be the first master dead if you do."

"Is that a threat?!"

"It's a warning kid, stay out of the war business."

"Hold on!" Lila got up from her bed. "What about you? Aren't you scared?"

"Please, I come from a long line of powerful Mages, I was born ready for this war, literally, I was trained to become a powerful master the second I could use magic. My servant is invincible, I can blow up a building with one spell, what do I have to fear? I was ready to fight and die, you were not prepared. You just happened to summon a servant and get roped into the war, you're lucky you got out."

"Quit wasting time," Rider materialized in the room and had a look of disgust on his face. "We should be looking for Assassin so she doesn't kill anyone at the Prince's party. Let's go."

"I'll be leaving then; I'll see you next time Lila." Tsubasa opened the window and jumped out with Rider. Rider summoned his chariot and the two were gone by the time Lila went to the window to see where they went.

"Stupid Mages, stupid war, stupid Shirou." Lila kicked over her trash can.

Sabine and Tom were cooking to get ready for the party while Merlin, Arthur and Marinette were in her room discussing the matter of Jack and her masters. Merlin offered to help if the mist was a problem for the other servants, her Noble Phantasm could be useful to counter Jack's. Any Noble Phantasm that had the chance to hurt any of the people was off limits, they didn't need anyone getting involved during an event where the entire world was watching through the news.

Prince Ali arrived the next day and was greeted by the mayor, with him was the golden metal he got from Fuyuki. Arjuna and Minami stayed on top of the Eiffel Tower to keep a look out for Jack just in case she showed up. The other masters with their servants blended in with the crowd so they could react quickly. They were the only ones who were tense, and some people around them felt that, so moved away.

When night arrived, it was like Paris lit up, the Prince's arrival was like a beacon, and to the masters, it was to only bring troubles. The prince greeted each of the guests as they walked in, but he had the most interest in Minami and Arjuna, who were said to be married when they were young teens. Karna and Leticia were also of interest, mainly due to Karna using his real name whenever he introduced himself.

Each of the guests were dressed in fancy clothing, including the servants, who were also ready to change into their armor when the time arrived. Arthur wore a blue and white suit, Karna had his hair brushed down and wore a black and red suit, Arjuna wore fancy clothing to begin with, Rider had a black suit, Berserker was in a black dress, and Tamamo had a red Japanese dress on with a big red bow to cover her ears and large red cotton balls to hide her tail.

Minami and Leticia sat at the same table when Leticia saw there wasn't any spaces left. Arjuna got up to get food to spend as much time as he could away from Karna, and Karna returned with an entire plate of stacked food. Much like Arthur and Tamamo, he had taken to eating to get mana while Ruler was out. Arjuna returned with a single piece of cake, put it on the table and stared at Karna's massive stack, then sat down and kept his back to Karna.

"Arjuna," Karna called as he tapped the table with his hand.

"What?" Arjuna turned his head around.

"Eat something."

"I'm not a baby, I don't need you to feed me, K-"

Karna took that time to reach across the table and stick a fork with cake on it in Arjuna's mouth.

"The hell is wrong with you?" Arjuna pushed Karna's hand away and coughed. He looked to see Minami and Leticia were smiling at him. "What?"

"Oh nothing," Leticia said.

"You two really are brothers, aren't you?" Minami commented.

"And what's that supposed to mean?" Arjuna glared at the two.

"You both grabbed the sweetest cake possible from the table." Minami pointed at the plates, both Arjuna's one plate and Karna's dessert plate had the same cake on it.

"I don't know what you're talking about."

"Same taste in desserts, don't lie to me Arjuna."

"What was your name again?" The mayor said quite loudly so the girls overheard.

"Shirou Kotomine," Shirou smiled and the entire room went silent when Berserker dropped the plate she was holding. The servants and masters all froze when they saw Shirou enter the room. There was no reason for him to be out of the church or why he would attend a party.

Shirou kept a smile on his face while he walked to the food table and grabbed a strawberry cheesecake, he went past Berserker who was frozen and sat in the corner of the room to eat. The people took a minute to register what happened before going back to what they were doing before. Merlin stood up and went over to Shirou to have a talk with him as Arthur got up to go to the bathroom, both made eye contact with each other and headed their separate ways.

"Hello," Prince Ali said as he approached the table Minami and Leticia were at.

"Hello," Leticia waved.

"Is there something you need?" Minami asked.

"I was wondering about your husbands." He pointed to Karna and Arjuna who were fighting over a cupcake, or rather, Karna was trying to shove the cupcake in Arjuna's face. "They've been bickering and fighting ever since they got here."

"Don't take it personally, they're brothers and they hate each other, they always fight like this." Minami sighed, "please excuse me as I stop my brother in law from choking my husband with cupcakes."

"What about him?" Ali pointed to Shirou, "why is he in the corner?"

"He's where he belongs," Minami retuned dragging Arjuna by his collar in one hand and Karna by his feet in the other.

"That's Shirou," Leticia said. "I wouldn't recommend talking to him unless you're offering to buy groceries."

Merlin approached Shirou and bombarded him with every question she could think of. Why was the war being delayed for so long? Why was he there? Why wasn't he at the church? Why did he want to talk with Gabriel Agreste for so long? All questions that got no answers. Shirou simply continued to ignore her, he then got up when his plate was clear and told her only that he had a plan.
