Dear diary week 28 June 11th through June 20th
Kai Kya Min Jun and JiYeon are lost 42s Zack is celrocks Sam and Jake are Boris yeltstines
June 11th dear diary we spent the day cleaning the yard up from the big storm it was quite a mess we sent the middle kids to volley ball camp and the little ones to sand sculpture club. We older kids helped the adults clean up the yards. Mom and I had to run to the hardware store for a new mailbox ours went missing during the storm. We stopped at the vets office for a few cans of wet food for mamma so she will take her medicine and gain her strength back. We then got groceries for the house and did a few other errands. When we got home Zack and I held each puppy while mom gave them there eye drops they are only 3 weeks old and super cute. We believe they are a beagle mix and the vet agrees. We went and picked the kids up from there activities before heading to a seafood place for dinner.
When we got back we gave the babies there eye drops mamma her antibiotic and anti inflammatory as well as giving spice her meds. We then went to a beach party to watch a meteor shower. Which was amazing and beautiful we didn't get home till after 11 so we once again had to carry and wheel the kids home and put them into bed. Mom asked me to sign off so I can get some sleep talk to you tomorrow.
June 12th dear diary we celebrated Claire's 8th birthday today with cake ice cream and gifts she is being allowed to have 1st choice of mamma's babies. They are getting bigger every day and cuter to. We watched Elsie's sand volleyball team come in 1st at a tournament winning 8 sets losing 4. from there Claire had requested we have pizza at the place we found last week yummy yummy. We came home long enough to doctor the puppies eyes and give the other 2 there medicine. We then went to beach camp out night which so far is tons of fun we are sitting and enjoying the fire so I will talk to you tomorrow.
June 13th dear diary we had an awesome day the the little kids have made it to the finals of the sand sculpture contest in the 3 to 6 year age group. There sculpture today was of a mermaid dog and her babies it was amazing. They compete in the finals tomorrow hope they do good so wishing them luck. Mom got a call from home she has been entered in the top 5 quilt shops to become a chain which is an amazing honor. We went to celebrate all the good news with super at island burgers yum. When we got home mom let us make ice cream again yummy we also had brownies and other sweet treats. We then took a long walk to the tail end of the beach were we saw a manatee which was very very cool. We headed home to set up our tents for beach camp out night 2 signing off so I can sing camp fire songs.
June 14th dear diary we watched the little kids final sculpture contest today they came in first overall in there age group with a sculpture of 3 mermaids. We went to a local ice cream parlor to celebrate. When we got home we decided to relax as the last several days have been busy. Mom and I made seafood pasta and garlic toast for dinner before we hung out in the porch watching the sunset. We had an amazing quiet day and hope the rest of vacation is just as fun we are really liking the beach. Mom made a rhubarb crisp we had for dessert with left over ice cream from yesterday. When that was done we went and took care of mamma and the puppies who are all doing a lot better. We can start gently handling them in 3 days yay they are so stinking cute.
We heard from the animal officer that Mamma was a stray since her former owner passed away. Zack and His Auntie are adopting Mamma who they have named berry. Kai and Kya are adopting a puppy they named spot. Claire chose the runt of the litter a pup she is calling Rosie Min Jun and JiYeon's mom said they can have one they named Maui who is the biggest puppy. Tommy and Dill are adopting spike a little guy who is named after there late dog. Susie chose a puppy she named Sandy Chuckie And Kimi Picked out a little girl puppy named Pepper in honor of there old dog who recently passed away. Harold's family chose snow a pure white puppy with blue eyes. Jack picked out cocoa a brown boy with black ears Jamie who is slightly scared of dogs chose a calm puppy she named Eeyore. Kate picked a little girl she named Bella Phil and Lil Picked a medium size girl they are calling Ruby. Ali chose a big bouncy boy she named star Luke's family got a puppy who is now called Shadow. The last baby went to Sam she is now called Eve signing off to get some rest talk to you tomorrow.
June 15th dear diary we spent another beautiful day at the beach we swam and tanned we played games. In the afternoon we took a special trip to see a marine rescue center to met a Dolphin named winter and her buddy hope. Winter has a prosthetic tale since hers was damaged in a crab net when she was 2 months old. We ate a late lunch at a restaurant before heading to the outlet mall for some shopping. We went to several shops before calling it a day when we got home we went and swam some more swimming is pretty fun. When we finished mom had me help her set up a tent so we can camp out again we really really enjoy it. Signing off to make smores.
June 16th dear diary we spent today helping rebuild a beach cottage blown away during the hurricane. While the adults built the house the kids worked in the garden and did odd jobs such as fetching water. We also helped keep an eye on 4 babies who had come with there parents which was so much fun. We shared a pot luck lunch with everyone which there was a lot of yummy foods. When we got home we gave the puppies there meds and the vet came to recheck every one she said there all doing great and gave the pups there first shots.
She also said they are old enough to handle for half an hour 3 times a day yay. She is glad they all have loving homes with the gang. We took the babies and held them I put Ali and Kate's puppies into there laps. They played with them for the half hour allowed before we sat down for clam chowder from the harbor store for dinner. When dinner was done we went walking to watch the sun set and just hang out. Mom asked me to sign off so we can have dessert before we head to bed for the night.
June 17th we spent today at the boardwalk for there summer carnival yay its so much fun we have gone every summer since I was 4. we played games ate tons of junk food as well as riding a few rides. We had so much fun I finally earned a giant plush at ring toss yay I picked a plush lavender Eeyore. The others won various plushies and we all had so much fun we rode more rides and had more treats before going home. When we got home we all sort of crashed from way way to much sugar. We all fell asleep in various chairs the hammocks and the swings I even slept in the sand. When we were up and moving again the gang held the puppies while Zack and I took berry out for a bit to get her used to people again. When we got back we were reminded to pack a day bag for tomorrow since we are doing the light house museum and tours in a town a few hours south. Going to sign off mom needs help with some stuff for tomorrow.
June 18th dear diary we went on a light house museum and light house walk today it was so much fun when we got back we ate at the seafood place we really enjoy since we were exhausted. We then decided to make tonight a very lazy night as we have been running and doing things like crazy. We need a break as we are all exhausted and cranky as heck. Mom and I made sandwiches for a quick no cook meal then we had cookies leftover from our packed lunch. We then went and played with the puppies for there half hour time allowed. When we finished we gathered on the beach for a quick night swim and a bonfire I am signing off to go hang out with mom for a bit of 1 on 1 time.
June 19th dear diary I had very scary day I reacted very badly to a muffin. We were eating a batch of various muffins that a neighbor had given us for breakfast. I was eating a banana muffin all of a sudden I started feeling weird and my throat felt itchy. I was scared and couldn't understand what was happening it was very very very very scary . I said I need help and Zack helped me lay down using him as a pillow while Kimi grabbed a blanket and covered me. Zack kept me calm while Susie ran for her Mom and my mom Dr Lucy came running in she asked me a few questions and had Susie get her doctor bag from there room. She listened to my heart and lungs looked in my mouth and eyes she gave me some allergy medicine and we waited a few minuets to see if I would improve.
Because I wasn't improving and was getting a bit worse she decided I needed something stronger she had Susie call an ambulance while she grabbed a pen from her bag opened it and counted to three while putting the pen into my thigh through my pants she held it there for around 3 seconds and then it was over she explained what was going on but I was still very very very scared. When the ambulance arrived mom led them in and Dr Lucy told the medics This is Dianna she is a 11 year old with a history of a mild walnut allergy and today she had what I believe was an anaphylactic reaction to a banana muffin. She said the pen was called an epipen and she had given me a dose along with another med she had tried first. She followed the medics into the ambulance where they hooked me to machines an iv and an oxygen mask as I was still pale and my sats were down she was there the hole time holding my hand. Mom Elsie Zack and Susie were meeting us at the hospital. The medic lady gave me an Eeyore mini medic plush to help me feel better.
When we arrived at the hospital Dr Lucy again gave her report as did the medics. We were taken to a room where I was hooked to machines and things again a doctor came in took a look and a listen to me before ordering more medicine and a steroid. We were told it had been a mild anaphylactic reaction scary stuff they gave me meds for the next week. I will always have to carry an epipen just in case it happens again yikes. I am in overnight just to be safe Dr Lucy will stay mom and the others will pick us up tomorrow. I am exhausted so talk to you tomorrow.
June 20th dear diary I spent my hole day resting on the sofa after yesterdays scary events I am on meds and steroids for a week so I can completely get better. We got home around 11 and everyone was waiting on the porch with get well cards mom made me a bed on the sofa so I can still be part of the group but also be resting. I am still really feeling yuk will talk to toy tomorrow.
