Hi guys. I hope you are liking the story so far. Please do keep reading and reviewing if you have anything to say about the story. Thanks for reading. :)
Swaine was storming towards the bridge. He had been searching everywhere for the CO and now there was only one place he could be. The bridge! He had seen a lot of the crew come down the stairs from it smiling and chatting which meant something had gone on in the bridge.
"When I get our CO." Swaine muttered to himself.
He went up the stairs with a sense of urgency. When he had finally gotten up the stairs he found Kate and Mike working away at the controls.
"Swaine." Mike smiled when he joined them.
"Where have you been?!" Swaine moaned at Mike.
"Up here. Fancied a break from all that sick bay stuff."
"It's not safe to be up here for you." Swaine pointed out.
"Swaine don't be so dramatic!" Mike chuckled.
Swaine rolled his eyes at this reaction. Mike just didn't understand the true nature of this. The sooner he realised it, the better.
"I think you'd better come with me." Swaine said with a stern tone.
Mike looked over at Kate. Kate shrugged as Mike went to join Swaine in a journey back to the sick bay. Kate still had no idea what Mike was hiding but by the way Swaine had control over him, it had to be something serious.

Bomber was sorting all of her stuff out from her quarters. Since Nav had talked to Mike about throwing her out, she didn't feel like she should stay there any longer.
Nav entered the room after getting ready for bed. She was surprised to see Bomber packing. She kept drying her hair with the towel she had in her hand.
"What are you doing?" Nav finally got around to ask her.
"Packing so I can get out of your hair." Bomber answered her.
"Why?"
"Because you asked the CO if I could change rooms."
Nav sighed as she remembered what she had said. She didn't feel really like that anymore. She went from one foot to the other as she tried to decide what to do.
"You can stay." Nav said quietly looking at her feet.
Bomber turned around to face her.
"What?"
"You can stay." Nav sighed as she looked Bomber in the eye.
Bomber couldn't believe her luck. She then looked over at the fish bowl near Nav's desk. That had nearly ended up on the floor in a million pieces! How did Nav change her mind so quickly?
"But what about the fish?" She asked, pointing at it.
"What about it?"
"I nearly killed it."
"But you didn't. So you can stay."
The two friends started to laugh again. They then shushed each other as Buffer would probably shout at them if they laughed loudly again. Nav climbed into her bunk as Bomber unpacked her stuff, happy that she could stay in one place that night.
Lightning crashed through the window. Thunder followed soon after. Bomber jumped as this happened. After the story Spider had told, this storm wasn't a good thing.
"Bomber. You alright?" Nav asked concerned.
"Yeah. I'm fine." Bomber responded brushing herself off from the last time thunder and lightning struck.
Nav shook her head. Everyone onboard knew that Bomber was afraid of storms like this one. She had a defiant reason as well.
"Let's hope the storm is over fast hey?" Nav chuckled.
"Yeah. Let's hope so." Bomber responded lying down in her bunk.

RO was in the communications part of the ship. Even though he was exhausted, it was his job to make sure there weren't any messages from Navcom or another ship in distress.
"Long night?" Charge's voice came from the door.
RO sighed as he saw his acquaintance at the door.
"A bit yeah." RO responded rubbing his forehead.
"Scared of the storm?" Charge smiled.
"No!" RO said puffing out his chest.
"Spider's story scares you?"
"No!"
"Would you two be quiet?" Buffer's voice came from his quarters.
"Why don't you?!" RO shouted back.
There came no response from Buffer. Buffer didn't like to fight with RO because he knew he wouldn't win. He never did, come to think of it nobody won against RO in a shouting match.
Suddenly a message came up on one of the screens in front of RO. RO turned in his chair to see what exactly the message said.
"What is it?" Charge asked excitedly to see some action.
"Something from Navcom. For Swaine apparently." RO sighed.
Charge sighed. It was always for Swaine these days! Navcom might as well just get a link with sick bay rather than go through the radio. RO flicked some switches which made Charge think it was something to pass the message on.
"Well that was exciting!" Charge groaned.
"Oh well. We'll get something soon." RO tried to reassure him.
"I think everyone needs a mission to go on." Charge said leaving RO in peace for the rest of the night.
Charge was right. Apart from looking over the Starlight a million times, the Hammersley had pretty much done nothing since they were sent away from the mainland and everyone was getting bored.

Swaine had finally managed to get Mike down to the sick bay in one piece. Mike hadn't made any fuss but it was still quite hard to get a CO down to the sick bay without anyone making a fuss.
Mike sat down on the bed before Swaine's computer bleeped into action. Swaine mumbled something under his breath as he picked the message up.
"Swaine here." Swaine said into the radio.
"Commander White to speak to Lieutenant Commander Flynn." The message said back.
Swaine looked over to Mike. Mike looked very tired. It was in his best interest to not have anything bothering him but if it wasn't important then Commander White wouldn't have called.
"Commander White for you sir." Swaine said to Mike.
Mike got up slowly and went over to the radio. Swaine walked back so he could have some kind of privacy.
"Maxine." Mike said into the radio.
"Mike. We've got some news from our doctors over here on the mainland." Maxine's voice answered.
"Great. What is it?" Mike said, trying to smile.
"We may have something that you could take onboard for medication and we can send it over tomorrow." Maxine said happily.
"That's great news!" Mike nearly shouted but managed to not shout as the whole ship would start being unhappy towards him.
"I thought you would like it." Maxine said, chuckling.
"Well send it over and it will be received greatly." Mike also chuckled.
"Course. Bye Mike." Maxine finished the call.
Mike put down the radio once the call was finished. He turned and smiled at Swaine who was waiting for what the call had said.
"What did Commander White want?" Swaine asked, seeing the smile on the CO's face.
"They've got some medication they're sending over to help manage it." Mike said, still smiling from ear to ear.
"How?"
"They'll send it on a helicopter I guess." Mike shrugged.
Swaine nodded as a smile also took up his face. Swaine couldn't be happier if he tried. Finally he didn't have to worry about treating Mike anymore.
"I think you should get some rest." Swaine suggested looking at Mike's face.
"Good idea." Mike nodded as he went back to bed.
Swaine shook his head as he saw Mike off to bed. Mike could be too over the top sometimes even if he was ill.
