After the ceremony, it was time for the reception. I decided to change from my wedding dress, so my clumsiness wouldn't ruin it. My reception dress was a cream wrap dress with a bow in the back. Instead of my heels, I wore cream flats to match my shoes. Suddenly, Alice ran into my room.
"Can I redo your hair?!" She exclaimed excitedly.
"Of course!" After a few minutes, my hair was done, it was long and fell into wavy curls, I added a cream headband. I headed to the reception hall excited to see my new husband. The DJ played "our" song for us to dance to.
"Heartbeats fast
Colors and promises
How to be brave?
How can I love when I'm afraid to fall?
But watching you stand alone
All of my doubt
Suddenly goes away somehow
One step closer
I have died every day waiting for you
Darling, don't be afraid
I have loved you for a thousand years
I'll love you for a thousand more."
"I have died every day waiting for you
Darling, don't be afraid
I have loved you for a thousand years
I'll love you for a thousand more
And all along I believed I would find you
Time has brought your heart to me
I have loved you for a thousand years
I'll love you for a thousand more
One step closer
One step closer
I have died every day waiting for you
Darling, don't be afraid
I have loved you for a thousand years
I'll love you for a thousand more
And all along I believed I would find you
Time has brought your heart to me
have loved you for a thousand years
I'll love you for a thousand more."Jasper and I slowed danced to the song, and suddenly it felt like everything was right. It felt like it was just us in the world. We continued slow dancing until the song was over.
Jasper's POV:
Tammy looks absolutely stunning tonight. There aren't enough words to describe how stunning she looks. The dancing was exhausting but it was worth it, to see Tammy's pearly white smile. Suddenly, Tula and Emmett burst in. It was as if time had stopped. Everyone frozen in place as if they were statues, hardly breathing, some vampires/vampiresses weren't breathing at all!
A/N: Song in this Chapter was, again, A Thousand Years by Christina Perri.
