It is very sad but this is my last chapter for this fic. I really enjoyed working on this every day and I hope some of you got enjoyment out of it. Once the school semester is over once again I'll probably start a new project. I'm not sure what it will be but "The Prince" was quite popular so I was thinking maybe expanding on it. I'm not sure what the future will hold but I'm grateful to everyone who has been reading, reviewing, and requesting. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart!

It was a hot summer day. Ladybeetle and Chatte Noir were doing their rounds. "Are you feeling okay, honey?" Ladybeetle asked, casting a worried glance to his partner. He had started calling her that after they got engaged.

"Of course," she smiled, it was a lie, she hadn't felt fine many mornings in a row now but she didn't want to worry him. He smiled warmly kissing her hand.

"Thank goodness I found you! Please help me, my-my wife keeps following me." A man came running up to them out of the blue.

"Your wife?" The man looked around wildly, eyes searching every corner.

"Well, we had a… fight years ago and ever since then, I've been seeing her all over the place, everywhere recently." he was out of breath as if he had been running from something.

"Are you sure you don't just feel guilty?" Ladybeetle asked. Chatte Noir looked around and noticed someone. She squinted until she noticed multiple of them.

She nudged her partner, throwing her head in the direction. His eyes widened as around ten exact copies of the same woman were hiding all around.

"It's okay, well take care of it." Ladybeetle threw his yo-yo at one of the copies, pulling the person towards them. Surprisingly she didn't struggle.
"Um, why are you doing this?" both heroes could tell she was akumatized but she gave no response.

She locked eyes with her husband. "Why don't you ask this cheater why exactly I'm doing all of this," her body disappeared into smoke, the yo-yo falling to the ground. He stepped away, looking around him as he could feel all her eyes on him.

Chatte Noir sighed. Of course, they had to protect the person at fault. They nodded to each other and went off to find the other ones. For now, it seemed like his life wasn't in danger.

Hours went by and they had no luck. "Where could the original be!" Ladybeetle sighed. Every time they got close to one of them or hit them they disappeared. They had to be missing something.

Chatte Noir got an idea. "What if she's not here at all," Ladybeetle gave her a confused face. "We need Bunnyx, I'll explain later!"

Chatte Noir bounded over the rooftops towards Alex's home. She slid to a stop, knocking on the door, like any normal person.

"Chatte?" Alex dragged her inside, checking to see if anyone saw her.

"We need your help!" Alex looked at her confused as the hero attempted to catch her breath. "There's a villain, she has copies of herself everywhere, but we think the original is in the past," she huffed out, sitting on the couch. She wasn't normally this tired. Alex gave her a worried look.

Chatte Noir's face grew pale as she dry heaved. "Whoa! Whoa!" Alex brought her a trash can. "Did you overwork yourself that badly?!"

"No, I-" she retched. "I'm… it's morning sickness," Alex's eyes grew wide.

"Congratulations! I mean that sucks but it's good right! How does Marin feel?"

Chatte Noir sighed, "he doesn't know yet, he can't know yet." She pushed the trash can away, trying to keep the feeling at bay.

"Why?"

"You know how he is," she stood a little shakily. "Besides that, we need you to go to the past and stop this from happening before it starts. We can't defeat her in this time."

Alex nodded before transforming. He entered the burrow, sticking his head back out. "You guys control the situation here and I'll find her, good luck!" With that, he disappeared.

Chatte Noir made her way back to Ladybeetle quickly. "Bunnyx is going back, he found the exact moment the man and his wife had their "fight" and is going to fix it. For now, we just need to protect him."

"About that. It's going to get a lot harder now." Chatte Noir looked around at the mob of copies, her eyes more aggressive than ever.

"Seems like she doesn't want to play nice anymore. That must mean Bunnyx is close." They prepared themselves. The man cowered behind them. "Don't worry well protect you."

The group charged at them, luckily one hit was enough to knock them out, but there were so many of them it was tiring. They drew closer, pushing them further into a corner with their sheer numbers. "Ladybeetle watch out!" Chatte Noir yelled, cataclsyming the copy who tried to take him from behind while he was distracted.

As she did all of them stopped in their tracks. Ladybeetle and Chatte Noir stopped, giving each other a confused look. They vanished one by one until they were all gone. They caught their breaths, not letting their guard down yet.

When nothing else happened they sighed, putting their weapons away. They turned to the man who was shaking on the ground beneath them. "Is it over?" he asked terrified.

"Yes. Next time be faithful, you're lucky she was trying to teach you a lesson," he nodded, running off. Ladybeetle could only hope his words got through to him. He looked to his dear wife.

She was breathing heavily, her eyes unfocused. "Chatte?" She collapsed, eyes rolling into the back of her head. Without consciousness, Plagg was pushed out of her body.

Ladybeetle caught her mid-fall, cradling her in his arms, trying to shake her awake. No one had seen them. He hid, before detransforming and rushing to the hospital.

Marin sat in the chair next to the bed as his wife lay there, still asleep. The doctor knocked before coming in.

"Don't worry, she just overworked and tired from the pregnancy, tell her not to push herself so much," the doctor said.

"Pregnancy?!" Marin shouted. The doctor saw his reaction and excused himself.

Amber woke up to shouting. "Huh?" She groggily opened her eyes.

"Why didn't you tell me?!" Marin gave her a disappointed look.

"Well…" Alex walked in with a smile as he realized what had happened.

"I see things are still exciting on this side of the rabbit hole,"

"Did you know?" Alex nodded and Amber his her face in her hands. This is exactly how she didn't want things to go.

"Marin, listen sweetie. I know how worried you get and I don't want you out there all alone, I'm not that far along and I just couldn't find the right time. I only recently found out as well." She pouted apologetically.

Marin sighed. "Sometimes you worry me to no end. I understand and I forgive you," he kissed her forehead. "And thank you for your help today Alex."

"Soooo, you're going to let me keep patrolling with you?" Amber gave a goofy grin.

"Not a chance."
