Jessie and John had been dating for a month. They hadn't seen each other since they started dating but they talked and text every day. Molly and Preston knew Jessie was dating someone but they didn't know who. They were telling them today. John had an hour layover in Boston. Jessie was visiting her parents. John had already told his parents about being with Jessie. They were thrilled. He knew he wouldn't have time to tell them in person. Jessie, Molly and Preston were waiting for John. He was running late. Jessie got a text. It read.
Traffic was nuts at the airport I'll be there in five minutes. - John
"He's on his way." Jessie said.
Five minutes later Jessie got another text from John saying he just pulled in.
"He's here." She said smiling. A few seconds later they heard the front door open. They were in the kitchen. Jessie went into the living room to greet him. They smiled when they saw each other. They kissed. "Are you guys ready to meet him?"
"Yes we are." Molly said.
"There's something I haven't told you about him." They went into the kitchen. "You already know him." She said smiling.
"I knew it." Preston said. "I told you it was John." Preston said looking at Molly. "It's about time." He gave John a hug. "It's good to see you John."
"It's good to see you to." John said. "Molly." John said. They hugged.
"Hi John."
"Hi."
"You look wonderful."
"Thank you."
After all talking for awhile Preston took John out to the garage to show him a car he'd been restoring.
"That's a nice one." John said.
"Yeah." "I've been working on it for about three months now." "I'm so glad you and Jessie are finally together." "It crushed her when she and Jay got a divorce." "It was very difficult for her at first." "I was worried about her." "With you I know I don't have to worry."
"No you don't." "I'd rather die then hurt Jessie."
Jessie and Molly were still in the kitchen.
"I've never seen you so happy." Molly said.
"I never thought I'd be this happy again."
"It shows, you're glowing."
"Being with John, I don't know it just feels natural." "When we make love, it's like nothing I've ever experienced." "We connect on such a deep emotional level."
Jessie walked John to his car.
"See you in three weeks." He said.
"I can't wait."
"Me neither." They kissed. I- He stopped. "I'll call you when I get to the hotel."
"Ok bye."
"Bye." He got in his car and drove away.
