As Chris and the other three fought to keep Simmons at bay, Leon was still trying to get Ada to wake. She'd been knocked out for well over a minute now and he was starting to get really worried for her.

"Come on, Ada." He tried again, this time bringing up his hand to her face.

The tips of his fingers felt the heat she was now giving off and he knew at once she was feverish. He turned to look above him, seeing no signs of Helena or Carla.

"Damn!" he groaned as he now called out to them. "Helena! Carla!"

oOo

Helena had been helping to ease Carla into a sitting position after Simmons had brutally attacked her. The mark on her face he'd left with his hand was fading quickly, but the cut upon her temple where he'd slammed her head down to the floor was still in the process of healing as was the headache and dizziness that accompanied it. Her back felt no better either, but given time she'd be healed once more.

"Let me see," Helena had insisted as she looked to the older woman's face.

"I'm fine," she reassured her, trying to turn away but the younger woman was adamant.

"How is that possible?" Helena now asked as she caught sight of the healing wound on the older woman's temple.

Carla moved Helena's hand away as Leon was now heard shouting them.

"Helena! Carla!"

Now turning towards the window, Helena looked down on him.

"Leon!"

"Ada's feverish!" he shouted back as soon as she was in sight.

Helena turned to look back at Carla, who was now pushing herself to stand. Leon was a little worried to see his partner disappear once again, as she now went to help Carla who wasn't really one for the help.

"Helena?" he shouted again.

"Sorry," she apologised stepping back to the window once again. "I was just helping Carla."

"Is she alright?" he asked.

"I'll live," came the pained response of Carla as she now joined Helena.

"Carla!" he now turned to her now. "Ada's running a fever!"

"Stubborn fool," Carla frowned. "Bring her to my laboratory."

Leon turned back to Ada, seeing her grimace.

"You're not gonna like this, but in your condition I'll hear no complaints." He told her as he now stood to carry her in his arms.

Giving the glass a kick beneath him he dropped down to the walkway, Ada groaned as he landed.

"Sorry, it wasn't exactly good for me either." He told her as he almost twisted his ankle upon landing.

Now heading for the door, he was just about ready to kick it open when it was forced open for him.

"Hey again, partner." He smiled as Helena now stood in the corridor awaiting him.

"How is she?" she asked, looking down on Ada, who was shaking slightly in his arms.

"She's responsive," he told her as they both now headed for the stairs.

"Good," Helena nodded.

As he was halfway up the stairs Ada gripped onto his waistcoat.

"Leon," she grimaced.

"Hey," he smiled down on her. "Glad to see you awake."

"Put me down before I make you," she warned him, though the bite she usually had was gone.

"Ain't gonna happen," Leon told her as he continued up the stairs.

Once he'd reached the very top she'd passed out again, her hand falling from his waistcoat.

"Nearly there, Ada." He soothed as Helena opened the next door for him.

"Through here," Helena now gestured as she pointed to a small corridor. "Prepare to get sterilised."

Leon gave a nod before looking down on Ada, who as soon as he stepped into the sterilisation corridor buried her face into his waistcoat at feeling the unwanted spray of disinfectant upon her. Leon couldn't help but smile as he looked down on her, this was something he was new to seeing. It pained him to see her like this, but at the same time he found her rather, now he wouldn't say cute but something to that effect. Once the drying part started the three headed on through to now find Carla injecting herself.

"What's that?" he asked her as soon as he saw her.

"Energy booster," she told him. "It's going to be a long night. Set her down on the bed."

He set Ada upon the bed Carla had now nodded to and watched as she now set about getting things ready.

"Sit her up," Carla told him. "I need to get to her back."

He did as he was told and pulled Ada forwards. He was a little surprised when he felt a rather warm hand grip his own.

"Le...on," she groaned.

"Carla's here," he reassured her. "She'll get you sorted, don't worry."

"The helicopter..." she grimaced.

"I'm not leaving you," he told her.

She shook her head slowly. "Rocket...launchers..."

Leon looked to Carla, who was now reading the needle.

"There's two rocket launchers left in the helicopter on the roof," Carla informed the pair. "You'll need them to deal with Simmons."

Leon nodded as Carla now handed him the needle.

"Hold this," she told him as she grabbed a pair of scissors to cut the bandages open.

Taking back the needle she injected the serum into the inflamed skin, as close to the opening of the wound as possible. Ada grit her teeth and gripped Leon's hand in a vice like grip.

"Is that the same as what you've given Helena?" he asked.

Carla nodded. "I can't cure them as I don't have Jake Muller's blood. All I can do is hold off the transformation for a time."

"Alright, then I guess we've got no other choice but to get rid of Simmons once and for all." He turned to Helena now. "What do you say, partner?"

"I'm ready," Helena smiled at him. "Let's go end this bastard!"

Carla patched Ada up quickly before Leon and Helena headed out to deal with Simmons.

oOo

The pair quickly took the stairs knowing if they were to use the lift again, Simmons would probably sabotage it again.

"Almost there," Helena told him as he followed her on.

"Good," he thought as the pair were so close to ending this bastard.

Upon reaching the roof, the pair were shocked to find the helicopter had been completely demolished. It definitely had Simmons written all over it.

"Shit!" Helena groaned. "What'll we do now?"

Leon looked around, searching the wreckage for anything resembling a rocket launcher. He did, however, find a compact mirror. Knowing it was Ada's he opened it and lifted up the make-up tray to find a small SD card tucked underneath. Taking it out, he slipped it into his pocket for later use.

"Ada's left this," he now turned to her with the mirror. "I think you'd be better off with it."

She took the mirror to slip into her pocket, she'd end up giving it him back later anyway.

"Helena, I've found the launcher." Leon now called out upon finding it still inside the burning wreckage.

"That's great and all, but it's not gonna work without a rocket."

Looking up Leon was surprised to see it laying just to the side of the wreckage, tucked under one of the doors.

"Found it!" he told her as Helena was now looking over the edge of the roof to find Simmons.

"Yeah, I've got one here too." She now caught sight of one just beneath her. "I'm gonna need your help to get to it though."

"On it," Leon nodded as he ran over with a loaded rocket launcher.

He placed it on the floor to now help Helena reach for the other. Once she'd gotten a hold of it, Leon pulled her back up.

"Now we just need to lure Simmons over," he thought as he looked over to see Chris and the others still fighting him.

"Simmons, you bastard!" Helena shouted as loud as she could.

Upon hearing the familiar roar, it would seem he'd hear them.

"What're you waiting for, you fucking ugly..."

"Helena!" Leon warned as Simmons lunged himself over to the walkways to now run full speed across it to then jump onto the roof with them.

"I'll kill you!" he snarled as he transformed to have his head loom over the pair.

"Burn in hell you ugly bastard!" Helena snarled as she readied her rocket launcher along with Leon.

Everything seemed to go in slow motion as Simmons now lunged at them. Just as he was in the air, the pair fired off both their rockets. Simmons was blown back, the force taking him right over the edge of the roof. He screamed in pain as his body reverted back to its original form, flailing his arms and legs was doing nothing to help him as he fell and fell until he found himself impaled on a large stone pointed structure right in the middle of the courtyard. His blood now filled up the red tiles, showing the others who were all looking down on him that Umbrella would always get revived somehow.

"We did it!" Helena now dropped to her knees with a sigh of relief at the edge of the building.

Leon stood next to her, looking over the side.

"Let's hope that's the last of Umbrella," he sighed.

"Leon!" Chris peeked his head out of the building next to them.

"Chris, glad to see you're alright." He smiled down on him.

"Been better!" Chris chuckled.

"How's Sherry and Jake?"

"Doing alright," Sherry gave him the thumbs up along with her bright smile.

"Good, and Jill?" he now added.

"I've survived an apocalypse," Jill now joined them with a smile. "I'll survive anything."

Leon laughed. "I'll see you all downstairs."

Chris gave him a thumbs up now as well before ducking back inside with the others.

"Well, time to get you and Ada cured. Then onto those J'avo," Leon now placed a hand on Helena's shoulder.

She nodded then looked to his hand as he held it out for her. She gladly took it as she was then helped to her feet, he then draped her arm over his shoulders to help her back downstairs to where the others were waiting.

"Carla's just through there," Leon now informed them as he turned to help Helena inside.

A hand on his shoulder stopped him in his tracks.

"You know what has to be done, right Leon?" Chris reminded him as he nodded.

"Yeah, but first let her cure her." Leon now gestured to Helena.

Chris nodded, allowing him to take Helena inside as he and the others followed on. Upon heading back he found Carla talking to Ada with her back to her as she typed away on the keyboard. Ada turned to see the group, upon seeing Leon with Helena she decided to help him with her to lay her on one of the beds.

"Where's the boy?" Carla now asked, not taking her eyes from the screen.

"I'm no boy, lady!" he glared at her.

Carla stopped what she was doing now and turned to reveal herself. It was strange seeing two of the same person. Admitted there were twins out there, but there was always something a little different between the pair. With these two it was hard to spot any difference.

"So, you gonna lock me up in some room again?" Jake asked as he looked to her.

"If that's how you'd like it," she replied back just as witty as he was.

"Carla," Ada scowled.

Carla just gestured for him to sit while she took out a needle. She sterilised his arm first before taking a little of his blood.

"That it?" he asked. "Just that bit?"

"Yes," Carla turned away from him. "It's more than enough for two people."

She now took his blood to do some tests on it, the others having to now find something to do while they waited for the results. Leon had struck up a conversation with Ada, before she too was now confined to a bed at feeling the effects of the booster wearing off.
