Soon the mass of shadows formed a pony like head and looked upon him, "well if it isn't my son!" she spat with venom!

Sombra crossed his arms and rolled his eyes, "why yes mother! I am not alone by my side is my wife! Behind us our friends!" the mass of shadows eyes glow red In rage.

the shadow monster mother of Sombra quickly tried to fire a blast of dark magic , only for Yugi's necklace to glow protecting them form the blast to the shadow demoness's shock her eyes widened.

Sombra turned on his duel disk and said, " Silly mother this world magic runs on bets most of the time! If you want to destroy me my wife or my friends you'll need to beat us in a shadow game!" Twilight turned her duel disk on as well

What appeared to be a giant sized game mat and deck appeared before the massive head as she said, "Fine duel!" ( shadow queen life points 8000) ( sombra and Twilight 4000)

Twilight start the two on three duel She then played her field spell pandemonium as the are changed she said, "Now I don't have to pay to keep my monsters out I summon shadow knight archfiend ( atk 2000) She then set a card and looked at her last two cards, "My turn is over your move darling!"

Sombra smiled as he drew his hand and his sixth card he then set and summoned Mataza the zapper ( atk 1300) he then said, "well my turn is over

the queen of the shadow ponies then started her turn, "Traitor disappointment and shame!" witch triggered sombra to let out a "love you too mom!" sarcastically

the evil queen summoned out giant orc ( atk 2200) and set a card! Her orc then changed attacking and smashing Sombra's Samurai ( King Sombra life points 4000-3100) when she ended her turn she revealed final attack orders.

twilight drew, "that keeps all monsters in attack mode so her orc doesn't go to helpless defense mode! Well I got something for that! I summon terrorking archfiend ( atk 2000) then I play checkmate allowing him to fire past your monster!"

The king then raised his hand and fired off a blast of shadow energy at the queen's head ( queen of the shadow ponies life points 8000-6000)

Sombra Drew, set a card held out Brain control and said, " I give up life points to take control of your orc this turn and make him attack you that will end my turn" ( Sombra life points 3100-2300) big orc then turned and hit it's master before going back to facing Sombra ( Shadow queen life points 6000-3800)

Mokuba held his chin and said," oh I get what sombra is doing!"

Diamond tiara blinked in confusion before sunset said, "you'll see!"

the queen summoned out another giant orc and had one go to attack sombra only for mystic cylinder to pop up so the orc's club went in one tube and went out the other hitting the queen ( queen's life points 3800-1600) She roared as her second orc went to hit Sombra only for enchanted javelin to pop up.

he smiled as he said, "Now I gain life points equal to the attack power of your monster then your attack continues so I gain 2200 then lose it my life points stay at 2300 your attack was pointless mother!" he said happily

Twilight drew as she said, "so smart! You predicted your mother's goals correctly she is so focused on attacking you she is ignoring me! I activate my face down just deserts you now lose 500 for each monster you have and I count two orcs" ( queen of shadows life points 1600-600)

Twilight then held out a spell card " And thank you heart of the cards I play Ookazi this spell deals 800 points of damage to you you won't survive bye bye mother in law!"

In a moment the mass of shadows was burning away she had lose and she was being burned into the shadow realm or hell as it was also known!

Sombra turned off his duel disk and laugh as he said, "Oh mother you only focused on one enemy not both of us! As I knew you would!" he then Twilight then held hands and kissed

before long the crystal emperor was shadow free and the ponies within returning to normal.

Later on in the castle Cadance was dressed in a light blue tank top sideless skirt with her hooves shoes and crown adjusted for her anthro state, Shining armor was in a red suit and he was holding flurry heart who was in one peace purple foot pajamas.

the prince was shooting sombra the stink eye as he eat and it triggered the former king to say, "…. Just say it already brother in law!"

shining then said, "I hate you! You are an evil jerk who shouldn't be with my Twiliy!"

Pinkie pie then added, "former evil jerk!" She said before pointing to Yugi and saying, "Tell your cousin in law!"

Yugi rolled his eyes and said, "I am going to stay out of this, this is between the brothers in law not me!"

Cadance sighed, "Aunt Celestia say something!" She said almost begging.

Celestia simple point to Yugi's dad next to her, "My husband is a pirate I can't say a thing!"

Kaiba then spoke up as he said, "And I want it on record you can feel the tension In the air it's so thick you can almost taste it! My money is on the white unicorn snapping first!"

Rarity then hit her boyfriend on the back of the head, "Not appropriate!"

Sombra then giggled and in a moment Shining tackled him, Sombra just turned into mist to get back to his feet and he sighed, "Well Kaiba called it!" shining was trying to hit him but they kept going through Sombra.

Cadance held her head in shame and covered flurry's eyes , "so embarrassing!"

Later on that night A scream was heard form flurry's room and to Shining's shock Sombra was behind him.

Inside of there an anthro skeleton of a Pegasus with bat wings dressed as bones flying off with the screaming little Foal!

Shining tried to jump after him but he had no wings so he couldn't follow but Somrba became mist and partial reformed ahead of him and said, 'unhand my niece!"

the skeleton then dropped the to young to know how to fly Flurry!"

As she screamed Sombra's mist form moved to her grabbed her and he returned to solid form and usedh is magic to hold one end of a large flag below them making it a net that caught them as he panted rocking the little filly to clam her, "Relax uncle Sombra has you BROTHER IN LAW GET SOMEONE WITH WINGS ALREADY THIS ISN'T A SURED THING!"

the next morning came quickly while Cadance was hugging her daughter repeating thank you to sombra.

Joey was going through flash cards of past guys they faced and they came to Bones and Shining said, "yeah he was dressed like that!"

Trenderhoof held his chin, "gee I though the last of your old headaches were gone?"

a nervous Bakura said, "big bads yes but we forgot about henchmen and there later messes… and this is probably partially my fault, for those of you just joining us there was a five year period were a monster that lost it's body took me over and used me as a meat puppet." Those how didn't know were horrified.

there wasn't much other then Zecora saying, "evidently."

yugi's grandpa walked in and said, "Now I may be an old timer but even I know how to handle this to caught something you need bait we know he wants flurry heart so let's just stand guard over her and force him into another shadow game!"

Bakura was shuffling his deck as he said, "…. I couldn't fight back against the demon who did this, it's my fault this is happening I'll duel!"

While everyone was looking nervous Rebecca said," I'll go run some numbers on other unaccounted for old headaches to look out for."
