Chapter 28- Speechless
Our exit planes interrupted by the sound of pad steps coming down the hallway towards our cell. "Quicke hide everything!" I whispered to the other two, who quickly squirreled away the drawings and plans we had made away into a lose metal floor board.
When the door opened up it would hopefully look like we had just been talking rather than planning a breakout. "All of you get up and start walking" the vehicon who opened our door said, we followed directions of course not wanting to get ourselves hurt.
The three of us walked for awhile around the ship until we reached a very dimly lit part of the ship, there was barely enough light to see anything in front of us. "You into that room" the vehicon said shoving Arcee towards the door closest to us. She stepped inside cautiously looking around before fully going inside.
The door closed after her, sealing her inside with what or whoever was inside.
"You two get in there" he said shoving us toward the door opposite from the one that Arcee had just gone into, Bee and I looked at eachother a little unsure of what was going to happen. "Get moving!" The vehicon said pushing us fully through the doorway and into the room before us.
It was pitch black, my optics weren't picking up any light from anywhere in the room. I turned and looked at Bee who's optics were glowing blue in the darkness. The door slammed shut behind us making me jump a little, "Did they seriously put us in a bigger cell?" I said I couldn't look around the room to be sure.
"I don't know either" Bee said or at least I think that's what he said because in less than a second I was out cold on the floor again. You know I'm starting to think that knocking me out has become a competition among Decepticons because it was happening so often.
"Seriously guys not cool, you could seriously damage my processor if this keeps happening" I said waking up, it didnt feel like last time there was no pounding helm ace or the feeling of being hit with a chair but I still felt werid. "Maybe there was something in the energon I ate?" I thought.
I tried to move my arm to put my servo on my head as I became more conscious "What the-?" I said looking down, my arms were pinned at my sides on an upright examination table.
"Good to see you're finally awake" a mechs voice, my optics adjusted to the new brightness in the room "Wait when did it get bright?" I thought becuase a second ago it was pitch black. Across the room from me was Bee, he was in a same position I was in chained to an upright examination table. Next to him was a shiny red mech, "greeeaaatttt hes here too" I thought "Nice to see you Knockout, do you think you could unchain me? I seem to not be able to hit you" I said
He smirked "Rainjet was right you do love getting fired up with your captors, but I would be careful if I were you." he said "If you look beside yourself you will see my assistant Breakdown, now I'd be careful because when your little partner wakes up one of you lucky bits will be getting an all expenses paid make over". I looked next to me Breakdown stood next to a table full of tools, saws and other fun sharply and possibly deadly objects.
"Well that's not very nice, didn't your carrier ever teach you two to be nice to your guests?" I asked both mechs energon seemed to boil at the mention at one of their creators I giggled slightly at how blue their faceplates were getting."Do you think I could talk to my sparkmate to get a second opinion, because I dont think she'd like it if you went and changed my face around." I smiled a little it was fun to irritate these idiots long enough for Bee to wake up and help me get the frag out of here.
"Rainjet isn't on board right now and I doubt she'd want to see you and you're Autobot friend" Breakdown replied he also seemed like he was trying not to get angry, geez now hes acting like Optimus Prime.
I moved my helm in his direction "Really? Well that's too bad, she'll miss all the fun" I said, I'd stalled these glitches long enough for Bee to wake up. I gave him a look that said "Be quiet dummy" he understood and stayed silent.
"So what's your master plan with all of this?" I asked stalling a little longer as Bee fiddled with the lock in his chains,"I told you, you're getting a makeover" Knockout said "But let's get back to the problem at hand now that your friend here is awake", scrap they noticed now I have to deal with the whole evil monologue thing, about this idiots plan.
"Breakdown ready your tools, I'll fill in our guests" Breakdown nodded his helm and prepared his sterilization equipment. "Well now that you're finally both awake, you get to know what's happening here. You either tell us about the Autobots plans OR Breakdown and I take turns scarring you for life! It's you pick and I warn you choose wisely."
"Why in the 13 primes would we tell you anything?" I said "Well that's an easy one" Breakdown replied "You both value something about yourselves, for the bug over here it's his voice, Soundwave wanted a little revenge on you Twinwave." Breakdown smiled a little at the mention of revenge "And for you it's those precious ears of yours." He said touching my ears smiling a little. He looked like he'd one some sort of demented lottery.
"You wouldn't dare!" I spat "I would and I am, now let's see who wants to go first? Eenie meenie miney you!" Knockout said pointing one of his digits at Bumblebee "I'd start talking Twinwave or your partner might lose his voice, permanently." He said lying the examination table down so Bumblebee was on his back.
"I'm not telling you anything!" I spat trying to loosen the chains around my body "Wrong choice" knockout said picking up one of his scalpels and lowered it close to Bee's neck. Bumblebee screamed loudly, moving violently on the table. Knockout paused "So anything to tell me now?" He asked looking up from Bumblebee's body, I could barely see it but energon was oozing out of Bees neck. It reminded me of the spot where I'd torn Soundwave's voice box out.
At this point lubricate had started pooling at the bottom of my optics, there wasnt enough for me to start leaking yet but I was getting there. "Dont tell them anything Wave" Bumblebee said weakly from the table, "Well I guess he made your decision for you, that's too bad for him but more fun for me" Knockout replied moving back to Bee's body. Bumblebee screamed again louder this time. Knockout continued to work on Bee until he went silent, no noise left the mech's voicebox.
"What did you do to him?" I said I was leaking now, seeing my partner and friend in that much pain was unbearable. "Oh nothing to severe just something similar to what happened to my dear friend Soundwave" knockout replied, if I could've put my servos to my mouth at any point it would have been now. "You're a monster!" I screamed at him, he just continued to wipe off his tools "Now now that's insulting YOUR carrier wouldn't be proud. But alas my fun is over and now it's your turn". Breakdown smiled as he lowered my table down and chose a scalpel from the ones sitting next to him .
He leaned over my faceplates and helm, touching the scalpel to my ear. I tried to jerk my helm away for it but he used his other servo to stabilize it. "I'd start talking if I were you" Breakdown growled at me "Not I'm your nightmares" I spat at him, he just smiled "Then I guess we start" he said pressing the scalpel to my ear.
Before he could do any real damage or break my proto form a vehicon came in, making Breakdown jump and put a gash in one of my faceplates. The vehicon seemed to be a little scarred and leaking a some energon. Outside the door I could hear the blasts of well blasters being fired "Sir there are Autobots on the ship" he said in one breath. "Breakdown transfer out patients here back to their cell, while I help Arachnid deal with the intruders" Knockout said, Breakdown nodded transforming his blaster and putting it to my back while picking up Bumblebee's unconscious body.
"Get moving" he growled, he walked us back to our cell before shoving me inside and tossing Bee in after me. "Stay in here and out of trouble" he said slamming the door behind us.
I crawled over to Bee, I was still leaking energon from my scratch but I dodnt really care right then I needed to see if Bee was okay. "Bumblebee? Are you okay? Wake up and say something bud!" He didnt respond to me, he just lied there still.
He wasnt leaking energon anymore Knockout has patched him up "Why would he do that?" I thought. Before I could think of a logical answer the fire fight reached my ears, there was lots of yelling and shooting from both sides I assumed. "Autobots retreat!" I heard someone yell for just down the hallway from us.
"NO DONT LEAVE US HERE!" I screamed, I started banging on the door trying to get any attention from the Autobots but no one came. The only thing I did was wake Bumblebee up.
I heard him shift and put his servo to his helm, I turned around to help him sit up "Bumblebee are you okay?" I asked. He seemed like he was trying to respond but no sound came put of his voice box "No no no, what did he do to you?" I said as Bee was having his freakout, I touched his voicebox the patched cuts seemed like they were deep.
"Bee, I'm so sorry!" I said hugging him "I should've said something! Now you cant say anything!" I was leaking again, man I really need to stop being so soft all the time. He pulled away from the hug and looked me in my optics, he looked as if he was trying to say "Hey everything's gonna be alright".
I just went back to hugging him after seeing his look, "I promise Bee that when we get out of here we'll find someone to fix you!" I could tell he was smiling as he hugged me back. We stayed like that for awhile until I stopped crying and fell asleep.
