Truly Outrageous
The earthy scent of rain is prominent, but it didn't quite mask the smell of Shinobu-san's embarrassment, so Tanjirou got caught in it too, face burning, but not regretting. He ducked his chin.
"Truly outrageous," he heard her murmur first before he felt fingers pinching his cheek, hard, until he was looking at her properly again.
"I'm sorry."
"You're sorry? Ah… You didn't mean it."
"I-I meant it!" He argued, taking her hand in both of his. "You're beautiful, Shinobu-san! I like you, you know? N-Not just for how you look, but for all of who and what you are!"
