Jaycee sat there holding Bailey Charlotte Cena. "She's beautiful." She said as she held her. She looked at John. "I told you everything would be fine."
He nodded and kissed her. "Yes, you did and we have a beautiful daughter." He smiled again. "And we have a lot of people outside who want to meet this little angel."
"Let them in." He nodded and walked out of the room and to the waiting room. He brought everyone into the room.
Jaycee smiled when they walked in. "Come in and meet our beautiful daughter, Bailey Charlotte Cena."
Charlie smiled. "Charlotte?"
"Of course." Jaycee smiled. "I wanted my daughter to be named after my best friend and her godmother."
Charlie smiled. "I would love to be her godmother and I'm honored you would name her after me."
"Have you guys thought of names?" Jaycee looked at both of them. "Any at all?"
"Chloe Elizabeth for a girl and Phil wants Phil Jr. Or PJ for a boy."
"I love those names. They are perfect."
Charlie smiled. "Thanks."
"Would you like to hold your goddaughter?"
Charlie smiled and nodded. She took the baby from Jaycee and held her close. "She really is beautiful."
"Thanks." Jaycee smiled.
Phil smiled. "You did a good job, sis. As always." He replied.
"Thanks." She smiled.
"Pretty soon, you'll have a niece or nephew."
"And I can't wait." She replied.
Charlie smiled. They all looked at the door as it opened. "Someone is waiting to meet his sister," John replied as he and Ethan walked in.
"This is your little sister Bailey Charlotte."
"She's so small." He said as he saw her. "She was really in mom's tummy?"
"She was."
"I can't play with her. She's too little." He looked at John and Jaycee. "I thought I was getting a sibling to play with."
Jaycee laughed. "Ethan, she won't be little forever. She will grow up and then you can play with her."
"I promise to protect her."
"Well, that's good," John said to him. "That's a big brother's job. I was protective over your Aunt Charlie and your Uncle Phil was protective over your mom."
Phil laughed. "And then somehow, we switched."
John laughed. "That's because we married each other's sisters."
Phil kissed Charlie on the head. "And it was the best thing ever."
"Eww, enough with the mushy," Ethan said rolling his eyes.
Phil laughed. "You'll understand one-day little man."
"I won't. I hate girls."
"That'll change," John replied. He looked at Jaycee. "I'll take him back to my parents. You and Miss Bailey need sleep." She nodded. She kissed and hugged Ethan goodbye and smiled as John took him out. She looked at Bailey, who was sleeping.
"I'll put her down for you," Charlie said as she took Bailey and placed her in the bassinet. "You need to rest."
"Thanks," Jaycee replied. "So does Charlie."
"I am a little tired," Charlie replied.
"Head home and sleep. You and that baby need your rest."
Charlie nodded and looked at Phil. He took her hand and they said goodbye and headed out. Once they got home, he asked her to lay down. She did as he asked and was soon asleep. He smiled when he came back into the room. He was happy she was sleeping. She needed the rest because once the baby comes, he knew sleep would be hard to come by. He couldn't believe that hed been so stupid that he had almost missed out on this. He vowed to never miss anything with the baby again. He kisses her and she opened her eyes.
"I didn't mean to wake you." He said when she did.
"It's alright."
He leaned down and kissed her. "Can I get you anything?"
She shook her head. "We're fine."
"Alright. But if you do need anything, let me know." He replied. She smiled and nodded. The baby moved. She took his hand and placed it on her stomach. "Is the baby telling me hey?" He smiled.
"I think it's playing the drums in there."
Phil laughed. "I see a little bandmate already."
"Calm down in there."
"I know how to calm the baby." Phil smiled and started singing to the baby. Charlie laughed. But sure enough, the baby soon calmed down. "Told you I had the magic touch."
"She must be a girl."
He laughed. "And why would you say that?"
"Because you're charming her already."
He smiled. "Well, I do know how to charm a lady." Charlie smiled and rolled her eyes. He smiled and kissed her. "I did charm you more than once."
"Yeah, you did."
He smiled and kissed her again. "Admit it, you like when I charm you."
"I always have." He smiled and kissed her again. He deepened the kiss as he did.
"You know this is how we got the baby in the first place."
"Yep." He smiled. "You complaining?"
She smiled and kissed him again. "No, I'm not."
"I can't wait to meet her."
She smiled. "I can't wait either. We need the perfect name for her."
"I have a name in mind. Chole. Chole Elizabeth."
"I love it. It's perfect."
"And if its a boy?"
"I think it's a girl."
She smiled. "You want it to be a girl."
"Maybe." He replied with a smile. "So she can look just like you." He leaned in and kissed her. "I want our daughter to look just like you." She smiled and kissed him just as a pain hit her stomach. "Are you okay?" He asked her with concern in his voice.
"I think its time."
"Baby time?"
She laughed. "Yes, the baby is coming."
"Okay, let me get my keys." He grabbed her bag and the keys and headed out to the car. He looked at the passenger seat and then at the front door to see her walking out. "I'm so sorry." He said as he helped her into the car.
"Call Jaycee for me. And Mom." He nodded and picked up his cell and called them both as he drove toward the hospital. "I'm so excited."
"Me too." He replied. "I can't wait to be a dad." They got back into the room. They would soon be parents and both couldn't wait.
