Avengers Crisis On Earth X: Mid Credits Scene
Steve Rogers arrived at Vormir. The last stop. The final stone. Clint gave Steve everything he needed to know about the location and so he began his trek up the mountain.
Steve reached the peak as he's face with The Red Skull. Thankfully not the one from Earth-X.
"I am not here to fight Captain Rogers. I know why you are here. I know you have come a very long way. So I will only leave you with this. A soul for a stone. Goodbye"
Steve watches his former foe vanish. He reached the cliff and held out the stone.
All he could do was hear his thoughts race through his head. How he wishes he could tell Natasha they won. How the earth was back to the way it was before. How he misses her. How she was always by his side. How he has grown to deeply care for her. How... He loved her. So Steve only said a few words.
"Thank you Natasha"
Steve tossed the stone to what seemed like an abyss. A light flashed blinding him.
Steve wakes up in a pool of water. He takes a breath and exhales as he sits down taking it all in. After a few minutes he stands up.
"Steve?"
He turns around and all he sees is her.
Natasha walks up to him. Taking his hands to see if it was indeed him.
"Did we win?"
"We won"
The two shared a hug as Steve gave up the Soul Stone for his friend back. He risked everything to even see if there was a chance to get her back.
"Before you returned the stone, I was able to listen to your thoughts. Everything"
"I told you we both need to get a life. You said me first"
Natasha then smiled and said, "You still owe me that movie Rogers"
"Not before I cook you dinner first"
Steve smiled back as the two shared a kiss as it was soon cut short by Bruce
"And returning 5...4...
"Ready to go home?" Steve asks
"Let's go home then" said Natasha
The two turned on their suits with Natasha giddy with joy and Bruce continued the countdown
"3...2..."
